  1. Takehiko glanced around as he made his way onto the UA campus, a small bag draped slung over his shoulder as he walked. He made his way up to the front doors. As he did he froze for a moment, seeing the Hero Glory, a man with neatly cut brown hair, and a black v-shaped visor covering his eyes. He looked up for a moment, thumbing through a stack of papers before, by vibrating tiny chordlike muscles in his throat, rasped out, "Kanda?" Takehiko gave a small nod, bowing as he did so, "Correct sir. Kanda, Takehiko." Takehiko took a moment to compose himself, taking a seat across from Glory's desk. "Well, Kanda, you made it in here by recommendation. That's a rare opportunity." "I ah, don't know if I could have made it in any other way, sir. I'm sure you at least recognize the last name Kanda, my parents were ex-sidekicks and their agency afforded me this oppurtunity which I'm grateful for." "I think I have heard it. Maybe. So beyond that, why are you here?" "Ah, I suppose if you mean personal goals, I want to build better... connections between heroes and non-heroes for lack of a better way to put it. Be an example of what can be achieved by coming together." "Oh? You don't mean mobilizing the citizens, do you? That's an awfully dangerous ideal." "I don't think 'mobilizing' would be the correct term. I have no desire to cause some kind of fracture between systems, but more... I want things like my mom and dad's desserts place to be more common and acceptable. Places where hero's and citizens alike can smile at eachother and see past that barrier." "I see. It has been a challenge maintaining a balance between freedom and safety in a world where people can do anything. I'm sure your teachers will be interested to hear these ideas of yours, go ahead and head inside." He wound up letting out a breath he didn't realize he had been holding, making his way back through the school to his assigned classroom. Hopefully he'd be able to prove he deserved that recommendation. He adjusted his glasses, walking inside the classroom. Finally, he walked up to a front-row desk, taking something out of his bag, a... mini cooler? He slammed it down on his newly claimed desk, "For those of you who have shown up ahead of me, I have brought Monaka! I was expecting more than two people though, there are 8 sweets I brought... I guess I'll just leave the rest on the teacher's desk for whoever wants any? First come first served and all that." Takehiko gave a small chuckle as he picked up one of the monaka, returning to lean on the side of his desk facing the doorway!
  2. "What business do fucking recruits have with something like this!?" Nika yelled as she slammed its fist into the pinned beast's face, a loud crack filling the air as the creature cried out in pain. Nika quickly found her footing lost as it kicked her in the stomach, knocking her back as it had just been. The beast's breaths grew ragged as it picked itself up, now able to see the two girls huddling in the back, behind Cade's wall... and leapt at them. Nika began to pick herself up, the creature's speed much greater than her own. "Down, now!" Akiko's eyes widened as she saw the major take such a massive hit, her instincts forcing her to throw herself to the ground at the Major's call to get down, "Rusalka, get back here! Shit... Cade, trip her!//Above you!" Akiko frowned as she utilized her Id, focusing the lie on Ann so that she wouldn't hear them, she wasn't going to let someone die damnit! "Major, I believe Rusalka is compromised, please be aware of the situation//Oh no, the Major's been bitten hard in the leg and is a weak target, without her we'll die, protect her Cade!" Akiko once again focused her Id, this time on the creature to attempt to confuse it, as well as Ann to avoid her hearing that she had been discussing her, a bead of sweat appearing on Akiko as she split her Id between so many people at once!
  3. I admit I'm interested! Seems a couple peeps but with the only YGO RP I'm in on-hiatus figure I should check into joining a new one!
  4. As the four recruits investigated, a sudden snapping caught Nika's attention. Her Id activated as she pushed Akiko down, taking a direct hit from whatever lunged at the girl, grunting from the impact. "Don't just stand there gawking! Take this thing out while I keep it occupied!" "I guess our creature is smarter than it looks," The leader spoke as she picked herself up. Some of her clothing was falling off from where the creature's claws tore into her, as well as saliva coating her face. For the first time, the group would see that she was covered in a charcoal-colored substance, but no damage seemed to have been done beyond her clothing being ruined. "If it understood that, well... Cucuy, you're with me. We're going to have to be the ones to subdue this thing when it comes back. Pangurban, you're on protection duty. Rusalka, try and keep us updated on its location, especially Akamanto. As for you," Nika glanced to Akiko, "You're going to be giving the orders from now on. You know what I mean, right?" Nika stepped forward, giving the group a nod as she cracked her knuckles, sharpened claws having appeared on her fingertips with the coating. "We're counting on you, Akamanto." Akiko was definitely a little shocked at being given the command to take over leadership, once they were in a more safe situation it might actually dawn on her just why her quirk could be useful in combat roles to update in battlefield operations! Ann immediately went to Akiko to inform her. "I am not sure how to point it out to you, but just keep track of where I am looking and pointing." Ann then pointed it directly at the creature's location, moving it when it maneuvered around. "Also, don't worry if it rushes you. That is the easiest way for it to fall, because I can hopefully neutralize it." The creature then suddenly stopped moving, and from what Ann could tell, it was readying to pounce on Lucia. "Warn Cucuy. It is on her left. Alarm her immediately." She warned. "It could pounce at any moment." If it did, at least in her current form, it could pin her easily. Then, Ann shuddered, she would feel her death. 'She must not die. Even for a selfish reason like that, No one can die.' Akiko glanced over to Ann as she came up to inform her, immediately opening her mouth and drawing a pair of shuriken as she readied to throw them to create something like a loud noise against a trunk in order to scare it if it was indeed just an animal. "Cucuy, on your left, it is readying to pounce!/The creature is on your right! It's going to lunge from below!" She did her best to keep her quirk 'targeted' towards the location Ann was pointing out. Akiko moved to throw a shuriken at the spot she had falsely made the creature hear in order to try and sell the lie that she knew it's location, keeping the other shuriken hidden in a palm ready to be used as a makeshift spike in case it somehow decided to change attacks!
  5. -April 16th, 2000- -9:10 AM- -Pine Barrens, New Jersey- Akiko glanced over to Cade, giving a small nod as he told her to try and keep attacks directed towards him, "Er, understood!" She gives a small, quick nod to confirm what she had heard before moving to the clearing with everyone else. The stench as they entered was awful, forcing her to gag and have to shoot a hand up to cover her nostrils, "Eugh!" She did her best to keep quiet, trying to breathe through her mouth in order to avoid the stench. Akiko made sure to keep a hand on her weapon as she moved to a tree, running her fingers along the scratch marks. She hummed to herself quietly before moving back to the rest of the group, "Major, I think it's safe to say whatever it is doesn't seem to be a normal animal, right? Is there some truth in those reports you talked about or anything significant about them...?"
  6. -April 16th, 2000- -9 AM- -Front Entrance, Diluculo Branch 25- "We will not be splitting up. We are hunting for a supposed amalgam of a creature, with exaggerated features, so make sure to keep your eyes peeled for any signs of unnatural life. I assume you will be able to help us with that, Cucuy?" The major looked Lucia in the eye as she spoke, "After all, you have spent much time with animals, have you not? The rest of you do what you can. I don't fully believe the information we've been given, but it's best to stay on our toes. Move out." Akiko nods, frowning to herself as she spoke up, "Apologies, Major Volkov, but it came to my attention that you harbored what seemed to be some sort of disdain for Major Drake when you spoke with him? Is he an entity that we should be more careful around?" She scratches her cheek, "I know it doesn't have that much to do with the mission but I couldn't help but notice the slight tone change you had when you were speaking with him. Kinda like how I think I sound around Pervert." She'd begin walking with the rest of the girls and Cade to follow Nika, keeping a hand down towards her thigh with the shuriken pouch, "An amalgam with ex...age...rated features? That doesn't sound like any kind of animal I'd be aware of besides maybe some stuff in movies." Akiko frowned at her uncertainty of if she may have misunderstood that word in particular. "Hey, you guys?" She glanced over to the other 3 members of the group, "My Id isn't very combat-focused as you all know but I can probably be a good distraction if any of you need anything like time to activate your own Ids, I know Cucuy's Id well enough but figured I should ask if there's anyone I should prioritize keeping an... enemy? Away from?"
  7. -April 16th, 2000- -5 AM- -Diliculo Branch 22- Akiko gave a small groan as she heard the miniscule demon screaming tablet, reaching over and groggily mumbling. She picked up her pad, her eyes spinning a bit as she looked at the words floating off of the screen, "Nnnngh... Austin, turn off the thing..." She glanced to the screen, starting to yell back at hers, "Off, turn... off! Shut Down, Restart!" She huffed, fluttering her eyelashes awake as her ears rung from her own screaming back at the blasted device, "...Y'know what, Nika seems to have kept getting some crap... Maybe... I can make myself more useful by going to combat?" She reached up to touch the screen, pulling her hand back for a moment, "No, I shouldn't... if it's dangerous I could... hurt someone.." She bites her lips, before pressing the screen and letting out a breath, sweating a little and panting. Codename: Aka Manto registered for 7 AM Mission, Leader: Major Volkov "Well... hopefully I don't ruin anything... guess I clicked the thing so now I'll lie in it." She groaned as she rolled out of bed, crashing against the floor, "Gotta get up now..." _____________________________________________ -April 16th, 2000- -6:55 AM- -Diliculo Branch 22- Akiko had managed to find a small cafe nearby, taking a moment to eat a light breakfast and grab a coffee to go before she managed to return to Diliculo and grab herself a shower, walking herself over to get some equipment. She picked up a Katana, she had practiced enough swordplay when she was younger so she should be fine. She also grabbed a small pouch to tie around her thigh, slipping around 5 shuriken inside in case she needed them. Akiko walked up to the bus, giving a small wave and yawning, still a bit sleepy from the alarm, "Morning you guys." She gave a few glances around, "Didn't you say like a shuttle or something would be around?" Akiko tilted her head before possibly hearing some grumbling from Nika, waiting for the bus to arrive, which it finally did at around 7:05! "Pile in. This is not our vehicle, but the organization's, so please do not damage it." Once everyone made it in , the ride began, leaving them with enough time to talk, eat some food, drink some coffee, or sleep. The Major stayed mostly quiet through the trip, leaving the recruits to their devices. Akiko hummed, sitting near the front of the bus and setting the sheathed sword next to herself, taking small sips of her coffee as she glanced at the passing scenery.
  8. Akiko gives a small nod, letting out a breath as Mathilde answers her questions, "Something unique about each of us that wouldn't hurt us in combat, huh?" She glances towards the others as they seem to give some small answers she could use as examples. "I suppose I used to enjoy hiking quite a bit, exploration and seeing what nature has to offer has always fascinated me. Listening to streams, chirping birds, and the like..." She seemed to get a distant look on her face for a moment, before quickly shaking her head, "Oh, uhm, I also enjoy games of chance like Tarot Readings, Card Games, and stuff!" She gives a smile, humming to herself. She looks to Mathilde, "You're gonna like, give an answer too, right? And are you sure uhm... Nika won't be too upset at you calling her that around us?"
  9. The Dragon Dwelling in the Cave is my favorite dragon and that's final for me. ?

  10. -April 15th, 2000- -2 PM- -Front Hall, Diluculo Branch 22- Akiko seemed to be a bit to herself, vaguely listening as she was still mulling through the thoughts clouding her head as she sat down at the table they'd been at earlier. She glances to Mathilde as she requests them to ask her questions, giving a small frown as she thought about it. She hadn't really put much thought into anything she could ask in particular, watching as Ann and Cade seemed to bring up questions well enough on their own. Though she realizes something that might be important to ask, glancing towards Mathilde. "Who is it that we actually answer to? With the... specifics this group is created for I have to work under the assumption that we're likely a more controlled group, right?" She nodded to herself, happy with that as a question. "If the answer is everyone higher in the organization, what part of the structure are we actually a part of?" She tilts her head a bit, putting a finger up to her lips, "Ah, I suppose this would also be a more... private question, but how are weapons handled within the organization, such as the purchasing or owning of one?" Akiko lets out a breath, a bit out of it from her honestly rapid-fire questions, rubbing the back of her neck, "Ehe, sorry if that was a bit too much at once..."
  11. I am still desperately trying to make Star Staring Starling into a deck featuring Wind-Attribute stuff. It is not going well. ?

  12. Akiko blinks a bit at the 'babe' comment, putting her hands on her hips in response, "I think it might be for the better if you kept the pet names to yourself." She gave a small nod, actively listening to him, even as she put her things away. "Now...second off, if you honestly think your Id is garbage...you might be right." Austin rolled his eyes, speaking to Akikko in pretty much the same manner...his lips saying one thing, but it was obvious on the fact that she heard him call her that. "What's more, is that Id...I regret to even say, helped yours truly out in the little training battle. Tch...you can take that as an apology or whatever...just don't expect it all the time. So yeah, if you honestly think that your Id isn't worth a damn, maybe that means you just need to work on it." Akiko hums a bit, crossing her arms, "I'm actually a bit shocked someone managed to use it in combat. I suppose you've got to have on-the-fly thinking with an Id like copying." She lets out a small sigh, rubbing the back of her neck, "Maybe I do need some training with it, I've only known about it for like 2 weeks... That's not exactly enough time to learn everything about it. Kind of still... shole-shacked I think is what it's called in English? I guess maybe I could put in some training for not using my Id too and implement that into some sort of fighting style..." She holds up the sheet of paper she had gotten, "Although apparently I'm useless for fighting and a better fit for comms according to what they could figure out about my Id. Which I mean... guess they're right, cuz the heck is saying two things at once gonna do in-combat? Maybe confuse someone for a second? How'd it even help you out?"
  13. -April 15th, 2000- -9:20 AM- -Infirmary, Diluculo Branch 22- "I think I got the wrong message... She said it was for Mathilde... Unless... was my message the lie? Fascinating... I'm guessing the random gibberish coming from the thingy was the other messages, so... gibberish... Kinda like this. What did you hear?" "Mmhmm, like Lucia said, it sounds like total gibberish when it's not aimed at us." "And I heard only gibberish," Alek added to the discussion, "Most curious... However, if they say they hear things, then they must be able to. We'll have to see what you can do for communication efforts, because it seems like the most likely area for you to excel in." "I suppose that's fair enough, it's not exactly like I'd be able to tell when my voice is connecting gibberish since everything sounds completely clear to me when I'm speaking." She rubs the back of her neck, glancing off to the side, deciding to leave soon after she was dismissed, "I guess that wasn't as awful as I was excpecting... should make my way to the Mission Room or whatever then." She'd quickly take her own pace to head off. ___________________________________________________________________________________________ -April 15th, 2000- -10 AM- -Mission Room, Diluculo Branch 22- "No need to stand, I'm going to keep this brief. Inside each of the files you have been given, you have been assigned to one of two groups for later today. We will be having a mock battle with teams of four, with either the captain or myself serving as proctor and advisor. We will not get involved, but we will be there to make sure no one gets injured too badly." "On top of that, you have room assignments~" Maddy cut in, producing a smaller piece of paper, "I don't know if you were informed that last night's rooms were temporary or not, but we have larger rooms fit for two people, bathrooms built in and all. Your file includes your room number, as well as your roomie." "That is correct. Please settle into your rooms and relax for a few hours. Camaraderie is important in a line of work like this, so the only criteria from now until 2 PM is that you must not spend your time alone. Your files also contain information about where to report at 2. That will be all for now." "Have fun~" Akiko gave a small raised eyebrow at the fact she was sharing a room. It certainly wasn't something she had been expecting as she accepted the manilla envelope, slipping out the paper and scanning the contents quickly and quietly. At least there wasn't anyone she could think of she actively disliked except for the one copier guy, couldn't be bothered to remember him by name though, not that he seemed he even wanted to be. Id is useful for communications. Does not appear to be great for combat. Needs lots of training. Will have to work harder than others. Captain Mathilde is willing to give one-on-one training in spare time. Akiko gave a small sigh and leaned back a bit, she already knew her Id was bad but it was starting to grate on her just how much worse than everyone else it really seemed to be. Even some of the more niche ones had some combat implications, although she admitted she didn't really desire to have either of those pain-type Ids. She returned to looking at the paper, making a mistake as she took a sip of water she had brought with her, throwing her into a coughing fit as she suddenly remembered someone's name. Room #201. Assigned Roommate: Austin Rankin. "GOD DAMNIT!!" mistakenly using her Id in tandem so that most could only make out a few letters, the garbled gibberish itself even seeming confused and angry sounding. She clutched at the paper as she picked up her bag and started to make her way towards the room, staring into it as she took a few deep breaths, "Maybe he's not a raging asshole, maybe I can give him a half decent chance/Ha! Yeah right, this guy can't even rely on his own abili...ties..." Akiko gave a small frown as she seemed to think about something as she opened the door and walked inside, claiming the side that was as of yet unclaimed by Austin. She turned to glance towards him, looking upset she was wanting to ask this question to someone like -him- of all people, "So... I haven't heard how that battle went but I just realized... what do -you- do when your powers aren't working? Mine are... kind of garbage, obviously, so... tch nevermind, you probably couldn't help anyways!" Akiko gave a shake of her head, starting to unpack, targeting him with her Id, "Forget about what I said, it's not important."
  14. Akiko would nod and listen along to Maddy's words, taking a deep breath as she decided to ask her own question, "If you don't approve of the methods the recruiters use, why are they part of your organization? Especially when they recruited a power so... well... kind of useless, this seems almost impossible to differentiate with how it is, isn't it? And... I guess if it's for you and not the recruiter higher-ups, what kind of ways can I talk into the walkie talkies that you really want to test...?" "You don't seem to understand... They are not part of this branch. None of us here have the authority to change how things go, only our superiors can do that. We here do not approve of conscription, much less kidnapping, but they believe this is the best way to take care of the world moving forward. The batch that you eight are in is part of around 300 people..." Maddy sighed softly, crossing her arms as she pushed against the door more, "When the others return, I want you to try and communicate a message to me, a message to Lucia, and a message to Alek. I want to see how each of us hear what you say, okay?" Akiko would wait for the others to return, taking the offered walkie-talkie before returning out into the hallway and going a good distance to make sure she could only be heard through the walkie talkie as she attempted to send a message to Maddy, "This is Akiko, sending a message to Mathilde." She'd then focus on Lucia at the same time, "Uh, guess I'll make this true, I think that's how this works, this is the message for Captain Mathilde." She nodded, satisfied with the lie before she let Alek not be targeted for whatever he wound up hearing, speaking again to Mathilde, "I'm not... completely sure what my Id even is still, are there any more ways to test it? Like a blood test you guys can do or something for anything I might not be aware of? I seem to have a lot less... training then everyone else, seeing as I y'know... only found out about mine like a week ago..." On the other end, the sounds came through loud and clear. Maddy heard the truth, sounding like gibberish to the others. Lucia heard her lie, the rest gibberish to the others. And the last message came as gibberish to Alek entirely, nothing. With a giggle, Maddy replied back through the walkie talkie. "Alright, come back in! It was a big success! I heard only the first, Lucia seems to have been the only one to hear the second, and no one heard the third! And I don't believe there's a test... but let's get this wrapped up, we're running a little behind." Akiko walks back into the room, letting out a small breath as she sets the walky talkie down, "Okay and like... bit of a weird question but uhm... what do you even hear anyways when it's not targeted at you? Maybe that could help me figure out other stuff I might be able to do or what my power might be related to based on the noises you hear if there's anything you guys think it sounds similar to?"
  15. Akiko looked a bit confused as she listened to the recordings, "Erm... do they sound different or anything? They sound completely the same to me, I admit the latter is a bit static-y but I already know what was said so it's easy to piece out for me." She watches Alek walk out of the room, nodding to herself, "Uhm don't suppose I've ever tried walkie talkies or anything. I remember talking to a police officer over the phone about an... incident that happened, and that seemed totally normal!" She crosses her arms, humming to herself, "Do you think my Id might be some sort of Signal Jammer or something? I mean I kinda doubt it but from how you're acting I guess that's at least one form of it. Ah I'll go out into the hall and wait for Alek to come back with the Walkie Talkies!" With that Akiko went outside of the room, kicking one of her feet up behind her as she raised her finger to her mouth, giving a small sigh, "I really wish my powers were more... useful. They said it themselves, I won't be any help..." Akiko rubbed at her eyes a bit, "Tch, why would you want to be useful to a kidnapper anyways? Why on earth do I feel bad, I should be angry about it still!" Akiko let out a breath she didn't know she had been holding around Mathilde and the others, a few cracks in what she had been trying to tell herself showing, "Damn... hopefully nobody heard that... Wait... Come to think of it... What does my Id do if I don't have a target designated other than myself?" Akiko slowly pokes her head back into the room, "Ah, apologies Captain but... you didn't hear any of that did you?"
  16. Akiko gives a small nod, "Truth be told I don't even know if it works as a truth and lie, but that seems to be the way I've been able to... seperate them consciously I guess?" She takes in a small breath, turning to attempt and register her Id between Mathilde and Alek, "I am speaking to Captain Mathilde/I am speaking to the Queen of England, who has knighted the only homosexual Russian in this facility." She gave a small giggle at her joke. She then turned and hummed, trying to register the opposite voices for them, "I haven't practiced using my Id for personal use/I may need therapy." She scratches her cheek a bit, puffing her cheeks out, "Uuuh... I think that's the best I've really got. My Id kinda... y'know, sucks." She gives a small pout, "I guess I've never heard it through a recording, might be something new I suppose!" She glances over to Tateru, "I mean, okay I gotta be kinda curious, what on earth could you think was interesting about my... Id?" She gives a small frown, "Especially when you have such a cool one!" She sighed and shook her head, giving a small shrug, before turning back to the Captain and Alek, "Hopefully that was satisfying enough, I admit I don't exactly use this too much... As I said earlier I'm... completely new to however this stuff works, there's probably stuff I don't know about. I uh... seriously only found out about it last week." She goes to sit in one of the chairs dotted in the infirmary, looking a bit awkward, "I'm really hoping maybe there's... something really cool I don't know about..."
  17. Akiko seemed to give a small eyebrow raise at that. Really? Not like telling a quirk she had no idea what could actually really do hurt much of anything. Suppose she's got a point but doesn't look like everyone agrees. She lets out a small sigh, she didn't figure she'd be very useful anyways, even as support for the one who had to rely on the powers of others. She opened her mouth to speak before seeing the back of the Major already turned and walking off, "Damn..." She turned towards Austin, giving a small wave, "Ah, you must be one of the one's that weren't forced into this whole mess. Trust me I'd avoid this hellhole if I had the choice, I already tried to run off a couple times. Got caught every time cuz as far as I'm concerned I agree with ya, this Id's pretty trash. Sorry I can't be of any help." She gave a small stretch as she stood up, seemingly unfazed by his attempt as she let out a laugh, starting to head off to the infirmary. Like hell she would ever get involved in the middle of combat, her Id couldn't even do anything remotely helpful! She stopped for a moment to think. Everyone's quirk definitely seemed like it had more uses than hers. She gave a small rub to the back of her neck, letting out a sigh, "Why am I here again? They totally could've had me run off and be fine... I guess I... don't really have a home anymore though but still.../You know you don't want a home, stop being such a selfish girl and listen to them." ____________________ Akiko strolled into the infirmary, stopping in her tracks as she saw... one other person. "Uuuuuh..." She gives a small look around, looking behind the door, "We're not seriously the only two who came in here are we? There were others with... obviously... very obviously non-combat Ids." She sighs, before seeming to perk up and give a grin, "Hey, you're Fork/Knife Guy!" She seemed a bit more at ease as she went up to him, holding her hand out for a shake, "It's a bit more proper to shake hands, right?" She rubbed the back of her neck a bit awkwardly, "Your Id seemed so much more interesting than mine. I have to admit I'm a bit jealous of everyone else, even if some aren't exactly uh... socially aware." She hoped it was fairly obvious who she was referring to. "And as far as giving away information and what Major Volkswagon/Volkov was on about, she can suck it. We're meant to be companions or team members at the very least, yeah? I don't really know how my Id works or the like, so I'm not even sure if I told everything about it... I guess I think I'm a more... recent user of mine then everyone else seems to be? I'd be happy to answer anything you or anyone else wants to know about it, maybe it would help me learn more about it too if I'm asked a question I can put some thought into rather than just the power questions the recruiter gives/if I'm asked a question that actually has some thought put into it unlike the brainless lists of the recruiters."
  18. I mean yeah, I agree with you. It was kinda obvious it was going to be banned with that format. I've seen some people trying to argue that because of Companions a sideboard should start existing, even though we know it won't. I'm also a casual/kitchen table player so I wouldn't have any issues with people in my playgroup running it although... yeah you basically -have- to throw it into every single deck with that access, and at that point it can get unfair cost-efficiency wise if it hadn't been banned. I do think it was a mistake not to have it simply banned as companion though, I know they seem to have thought it would get too confusing but the card is completely fair to be played as Commander or in the 99, right?
  19. Kinda just wanna talk about and hear opinions on the Lutri, the Spellchaser ban! It was interesting to see the committee ban a card so quickly and curious about their opinions on it.
  20. Favorite RP you've been in and why? Are there any character archetypes you've noticed you enjoy the most? If you could time travel, when would you go to? Biggest pet peeve? What's your favorite deck to play -against- in your preferred TCG?
  21. -April 1st, 2000- -12 AM- -New York City, New York; Saint Patrick's Cathedral- In the midst of a restless night, the bustling noise of NYC had been getting to her. She walked through the empty cathedral, her footsteps echoing around her, before she came to a stop at the far back of the cathedral. She looked out into the empty pews, imagining what the Church must be like during the day, truth clouded by devotion. She let out a small sigh, she had been a bit... resistant of Diliculo when she had first woken up, trying to escape at a couple oppurtunities. And now there was definitely someone watching her. I wonder how many of them know they're being lied to and still come here just to hear something kind they don't believe. She wasn't usually a very religious person, but she knew what an impact they could have. They were usually meant to make people feel better about death and the loss of loved ones, right? There wasn't anything inherently malicious about them so she found them simply curious. New York definitely seemed to have a lot of churches, even with how many she had visited. She gave a small sigh, seeming to glance down at a watch and realizing what time it was, "I suppose I should be getting back. What say you Mr. Security Man?//Miss Security Woman?" She gave a small pause, "...You guys really aren't gonna let me run off, yeah? Suppose I should be getting back then. Maybe they can take a joke at least." ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ -April 15th, 2000- -8:15 AM- -Dining Hall, Diliculo Branch 22- “Gooood morning!” Akiko gave a small jump at hearing such a chipper voice coming up to the table. She looked around at everyone else for a moment before giving a wave, her eyes quickly rolling up and down the woman's body. She looked for any motions of deceit in the woman's body, before seeming to realize what she was doing and freezing, giving a polite nod to her. “Come now, come now, let’s all share a table! After all, it’s easier to do roll call that way, hm? I am Captain Mathilde Macha, born in Seattle, Washington, here in the USA. My Id, Scope Sight, means that I can see far away things very, very well. The Major will be joining us shortly, but since you all arrived early, we can use this as a chance to learn about each other!” Akiko seemed to have been avoiding her food for the most part, only taking a light portion to even start with. She listened to the captain with a smile, about to open her mouth before others started to speak first, closing her mouth to allow them to do so. It was only polite, right? "Also, I have a degree in anthropology. People are fascinating to me, so I had planned to become an anthropologist before being offered a job with Diluculo." She was a bit surprised. Can't say she was really expecting to find someone wanting to become an... anthropologist here? He definitely seemed as if he found conviction at the very least! If he found people fascinating she might actually be able to talk to him about things like Cathedral's without people automatically assuming she was religious! "Austin Rankin from Venice, Los Angeles, California. And let's just say, I'm better in every way than you lot! Not stating an estimate, just a cold hard fact. My Id is called Idposter, and basically...I mimic any one Id I want and I basically just do it better than you." Akiko actually couldn't hold herself from busting up laughing at that, nearly falling out of her seat, "Damn dude sounds like you got almost as screwed as me. But yeah, you can have your Id be better than mine, it's not that hard." Her tone seemed one of almost annoyance as she got back up off the floor, "My name is Gekkane, Akiko, er, Akiko Gekkane I mean from Japan, Shimonoseki Province. Sorry, I'm still not used to American introductions. My Id I guess is... Truth and Lie? Dunno if that's the best way to put it, but I will say it sucks. I can say two things at once, as long as it's a Truth and a Lie, and can choose who hears which. For example, I find Austin a sweetheart//I think Sergei and I could be great friends!" She selected Austin and Mathilde to hear the first line, and Sergei to hear the second line, "Compare what I just said to eachother if ya want, it's a hard to detect Id I guess but other than that it blows." She gives a small lean back, before finally glancing back around, shifting nervously in her seat, "I uh... think that's everything from me? I'm not actually used to speaking very much... Would someone like to continue?"
