Quick play spell card, description: Discard 1 trap card, then target 1 spell card in your GY, add it to your hand.

It can recover you any spell for sure, but discarding trap is a really hefty cost. Most deck now run less but extremely powerful traps, so unless the spell is really strong and you guarantee your opponent wont disturpt this card its pretty hard dilemma to dump your trap.

On the other hand, Burgesstoma is the closest best deck that probably want this

Indeed, requiring a Trap to discard makes it deceptively situational, as if requiring a desired Spell in the GY to grab first wasn't situational enough. It can shine in Trap-heavy decks like the aforementioned Paleozoics of course, but then... I cannot think of any particular Spell Paleozoics would want to retrieve so much to warrant running this in the Deck. Thus, this card would work best that relies both on Traps and key or vital Spells, or enough different Spells to turn Spells in your GY into a sort of toolbox, but I cannot think of any deck with such traits.
