Melee, hands down. It was a big jump from Smash 64. I may not be a competitive player that masters all the techs and whatnot but as a casual, or perhaps semi-casual, I enjoyed the game a lot. It's not my favorite Smash game, though, that is Project M followed by Melee HD, a mod for Smash4, if only because Bowser is better in those.

I mean, considering Melee was the one reason I wanted a Gamecube in the first place, there's really no contest here.

Too easy, voting for Melee. It is a game I tend to go back to when playing with friends (until I got Ultimate that is), and I never played Four Swords either tbf.
