vote for Mario Kart. I prefer the racing kart game with multiplayer over the single-player game that Luigi's Mansion is. Also I wasn't really fond of the dedication it took to get golden portraits, and the limited sources of money IIRC, if you aimed for a perfect run: mess up and you got to start the fight over again xD

I went back and played both last year. While Luigi's Mansion was an enjoyable experience, Double Dash was only partially. I loved some of the tracks that never made it to future games, like Daisy's Cruise, the Dinosaur one, and the city with the bridge you could drive on. But after playing Mario Kart 8, it felt rather floaty and trickier to control. Didn't age as well for me. Not a bad game. Just not as good for me.
