The site does cost money each month to upkeep. I don't sell any data, nor do I run any ads - any support you can give to help with the upkeep of things would be greatly appreciated.
There is no max goal for this donation, nor and end point. The rough costs for the site are around 40/50 GBP each month give or take 10 either side depending on the month, there are periods at the start of the year where this does increase significantly due to renewals for the domain and SSL certificates that this site runs off.
The site will remain active and online for as long as I can maintain it. I'm not struggling financially (at least as much as some!) and can maintain this regardless.

Where's a yellow submarine when you need one "Oooh, you play Duel Monsters too?" Hana said to Melissa. "Wait, Yu-ga-who is what it's called here or something right? Anyway, cards! Okay okay cool cool then you might know this one. I want to show you all my fish! It's probably not tasty but it sure looks neat!" She slapped a card down and a fiendish looking fish-thing emerged from the water and took up half of the space on that side. It began to trash about and caused water to splash over onto the opposite end of the room. "Terrorking Salmon!" Hana called out triumphantly. Most of the children seemed greatly amused by the creature and many of them scrambled forward with the intention to splash through the water and go play with it. All except one which, upon seeing it, let out a brief yelp and hid herself under the desk. The teacher, floating off towards a window, weakly raised an arm, "kids, stop, don't, you'll get your clothes all soaked." but they seemed to have given into their fate and was simply allowing the water to take them wherever they may go. Hopefully less than 999 ghosts When Fen entered she would feel a slight chill that passed immediately. Looking around it looked like the space was rather dusty and many cobwebs clung to surfaces. Though on second look it seemed there was areas that didn't have much dust at all. To the right and left there were two doors on either side of the large room. Directly in front of her there was a large wooden double-door on the opposite wall which was flanked by two grand staircases that curved to the left and right and went up to an upper floor. Kasayee was currently disappearing up the top of the right-most of these. Suddenly outside Fen would hear a shout and a clatter and when she turned around she would see Rona falling off the roof and being grabbed up by Cormag. Before she could do anything the door suddenly swung shut and she heard the click of a lock. -

Chris Hector stifled a laugh as Chris asked if anyone had asked for him. He took a breath and steadied himself, "yes, actually, there's someone over in that corner who has been waiting for some time now." Despite his composure he still seemed to be amused by something that he wouldn't share with Chris. When Chris checked the corner he saw someone in a hooded cloak waiting for him. It brought to mind the people who had been after him before and yet they seemed entirely different. As Chris neared they saw the figure was fidgeting in their seat and he could hear a voice faintly muttering to themself. "stupid, stupid, I got the time wrong again, they're not coming, of course they aren't, why would they, I can't help. I should go. But what if they show up when I leave? Maybe I should get a room here...but I don't have that much money. Oooh I shouldn't have left my bed..." Lana "I swear if I run into some creep with a blood knife or something..." As Lana said that she heard a noise. Someone who was sitting at a pew suddenly stood up. They were wearing a robe and had their face wrapped up in bandages. As they stood something clattered to the ground. Lana saw for a moment a dark red colored blade before the man hurriedly picked it up and slide it under his robe. He rushed past Lana with a heavily accented, "scuse me, sorry, sorry, scuse me" as he scrambled out of the church. Moments later Anna came into the room carrying a quill and some parchment. She went over to where the man had gone and looked around. When she spotted Lana she moved towards her. "Where did the man go? He was going to tell me a tale about where he found his magic chef's knife." Ziun The tavern Ziun entered was named "The Just Right". It didn't seem too big nor was it too small. It was busy but not enough that people risked stepping on each other's toes. There was a bit of a crowd gathering over by the bar however and Ziun heard a loud voice saying, "come on then, just a simple game of chance, and if any of you win I'll buy a round for the whole place!" it seemed to be stemming from a grinning young man holding a shiny gold coin in his hand. Most people seemed to be paying attention to him except for one. A muscular woman with green skin who many in the tavern was giving wide berth and was staring into her mug with a deep frown on her face. -
Eternal Return The top of Project Rubicon was much more crowded than it had been when Aeon had left it. The crowd was mostly civilians; Firefly and the others seemed to have done their jobs well. Then again, there weren’t that many fliers orbiting around Rubicon’s airspace, so perhaps they were still in the middle of rescuing more people trapped in the steam and “had done” should have been present tense. “Were doing.” More importantly for at least one member of the Aeon/Tidebinder duo, the crowd was not particularly scornful towards either of the new arrivals; no blame was immediately handed out regarding the situation everyone was presently in. It was something that got Tidebinder to noticeably relax. “I agree, she said to Aeon. “Let’s get this done with.” With or without Thessa, Tidebinder made her way around the perimeter of the crowd, mostly unimpeded though she did have to weave in and out of the occasional person and, in one case, a child who had wandered off from their parent. Soon, she was at Rubicon’s shoulder, the side facing most of the city. She took a deep breath, putting her entire body into the motion, then performed the exact opposite motion as she breathed back out. The steam reacted to both motions, drifting higher up Project Rubicon’s side on the inhale, but the exhale was much more forceful, and sent much -- almost all? -- of the steam that Tidebinder could see from that half of Project Rubicon away, like a gust of wind had just hit most of the city. When that was done, Tidebinder turned and moved towards the opposite shoulder, but Keller, shoving his way out of the middle of the crowd, moved to confront her. “What are you doing here?” he said. “I’m solving the mess you created,” Tidebinder said. When Keller tried to interject, she said, “Don’t try to correct me. And, in exchange, you are going to get me in contact with Arcturus, and we’re going to get her out of my casino.” The steam seemed to react to her temper flaring there; Tidebinder took another breath, but for herself this time. “I think she’ll be interested in what I have to offer her.” Spacesick It took a moment for the unconscious person to recover, waking up still in a daze, blinking away the bright lights of the casino floor and flinching at all the noise around them. Even as they blinked a few more times, they did not seem to recognize the person above them. They brought a hand to their nostrils, extended their arm so they could see the blood, and made a pained combination of groan and sigh. “Typical,” they muttered. They seemed to realize exactly what the situation looked like to everyone else, and tried to idly wave off whatever onlookers there were with a “No, it’s fine.” When their eyes drifted back to Victor, their face hardened. “You’ve got the look of someone who’s not concerned about a nosebleed, but concerned about me,” they said. “It’s not- I should warn you I’m not the most talkative person, especially when asked about myself.” They paused. “You’re about to get a message on your phone. You should probably answer it.” Elsewhere in the casino, the song “Girls Just Want To Have Fun” blared, only cut off when Arcturus answered her phone. “Hello?” people could hear her say. “Oh, really?” Phantom Island Atropos looked worried when Sibyl climbed back out of the hole and into the casino’s ground floor kitchen. She said, “You okay?” even though Sibyl was clearly no worse for wear. She seemed dissatisfied with the ambiguity of that particular question, though, and followed it up with, “I tried to go in after you, but you weren’t there when I went down. Neither you nor the steam thing were, actually.” She leaned over and peered back into the hole. Following her gaze revealed that the sub-level was different from the one Sibyl had just been in. The hallway Sibyl had ended up in had been wholly unremarkable -- warm-ish lighting, the sort of office carpeting that someone might only remember once it was absent, etcetera -- while the current (new?) basement had linoleum and sterile white. The most damning piece of evidence that something had gone awry was the garish landscape of Caesar presiding over his “domain” plastered on one of the walls. “Not an actual criticism, but I might have tried to ‘accidentally’ get that wall blasted if I saw that,” Atropos said. She checked her phone, skimmed a message, and put the phone back into her pocket without responding to it. “Steam’s going away. If our guys were caught in it, I’m sure they’ll be found soon. So that’s one mystery solved, at least.”
