Yasha was a purveyor of three things, and three things only. Heroes, hydraulic presses crushing random objects, and pretty girls in uniforms. There was certainly no denying that the new girl was pretty. And in uniform. She was just plain cute from head to toe! He did his best not to watch her walk past, but his eyes were basically in the sides of his head, so he couldn't help but see. Once she was behind him, he turned back to the substitute. Dreadbolt had some serious style-- in fact, it looked like he had a head like Yasha's! Which was super cool, in his book, but it might just be a mask or a helmet or something-- some Pros did that. "Mr Dreadbolt! I have a question!" "Yes, metalhead? What is it??" "Is that your actual head? And if so, how does a hero deal with having a scary head?" Yasha paused, then added, "I'm uh, asking for a friend." "Of course it's my head. You think I'm gonna wear a mask indoors? That would be pretty lame. And these pearly whites help scare away villains!" Dreadbolt scratched at his chin, eyeing the rest of the students before whispering, "Who are you asking for? I could probably just talk to them directly." Yasha, perhaps not realizing that them whispering doesn't make it harder for the others to hear, whispered back. "Oh, um. Myself." "Oh. OHHHH! Don't worry, I'm sure a handsome devil like you is gonna slay!" He said, whispering as loudly as humanly possible. Yasha "quietly" pumped his fist and then returned to paying attention as if the entire class hadn't just seen and heard that.

Karma, Karma, Karma, Karma... Chameleon! Hideyo was admittedly out of the loop. He was focused on single things at a time, as it helped him to keep himself grounded in reality. Or, so he liked to believe. After returning to school, Hideyo occupied himself with pleasant thoughts about his disco ball. He wanted to repair it. He would reshape and stain the glass. And with the help of his quirk, he could bring it to life again. He would give that discoball a new purpose, in honor of the fallen sand soldiers who defended it. He stared out of the window of his class for most of the day, wondering intently about what happened at the beach. Dreadbolt would be their substitute teacher for some time, but Hideyo was far from concerned with that. Taking away from the eerie air, a new student had appeared. This caught Hideyo's eye. Well, that and Dreadbolt's booming voice as he introduced her. Her name was Hoshino Rika. Her quirk was Chameleon, and was pretty self-explanatory. But of all the quirks in the class, this one caught Hideyo's eye the most. The color pattern that appeared across her skin as it changed to reflect its surroundings was the most interesting thing he had ever seen! For some reason, it became his new focus. This is what his father was talking about when he explained Hideyo's last visit to the doctor. His focus being changed to one thing at a time and causing an intense interest in only that topic. It was one of the few things that he learned about himself and what it would be like to live with autism. As Hoshino Rika took her seat, Hideyo offered her a smile and a handshake. "Hi. I'm Hideyo," he said happily. "And I think your quirk is the coolest thing I've seen. Ever!" Uh-oh. He was about to start asking a lot of questions about it, wasn't he? He couldn't stop himself. She would quickly find him annoying. That's okay. He understood.

Finally, she was up to bat. Letty had been waiting for this ever since she heard there were going to be practice duels with some of Horizon’s numbers. Dueling the others here was all well and good, but she craved new opponents, new experiences, and new struggles. Her deck was already shuffled, duel disk primed, and as Letty stepped up to face her opposite number, she’d already started drawing her opening hand - making sure not to look at it - as she greeted with a smile, “Welcome to Ocean Coast. I hope you’ve enjoyed your brief visit.” Terry had been simultaneously dreading and looking forward to this, as the coach called her name. “Oh, uh… Alright!” She nodded, almost completely taken out of her previous hype as she took a deep breath. “Right, right…!” She paused, getting up as she started off towards the center of the arena. “Oh, uh, Peter-” she started off as she passed the other, pausing for just a moment. “...You did good, okay? And you’ll get ‘em next time, after your next training montage-” she tried to explain, before cutting herself off, taking a deep breath, as her opponent greeted her. “Oh, uh…” Terry paused, clearing her throat, and turning to face her opponent. “...Of course!” She smiled, cocking her head to the side. “The duels have been just exquisite, the perfect sort of appetizer for a Final Boss’ eyes to feast upon while she waited her turn,” she paused, drawing her own hand and doing the same, eyes locked onto her opponent. “So, now that the time has come, shall I, the Final Boss, a being focused solely on the destruction of all human realms and those who reside within them, begin this dance of death, or shall you, the challenger, step up to the plate, and take the first shot?” “Final Boss, you say?” Letty asked, seeming all the more eager to duel it out now. “I suppose I’ll take the first turn, then! Please, do everything you can to trample and trounce my efforts. If you can.” Finally taking a look at her hand, Letty pondered her first move for a bit, before resigning “I don’t have a deck well-suited to a quick start, though. For now, I’ll set one monster face-down, as well as these two other cards. That’s all. Now show me that Final Boss power!” “You asked for it!” Terry grinned, drawing her first card, and glancing over her cards. After a short pause, she picked a card from the center, nodding. “First, I play Terraforming, which allows me to add one Field-Spell card to my hand; and from there, I play the card I drew: Proscenium of Destruction and Fright, Arena of Darkness-- Generaider Boss Stage!” She exclaimed, slamming the card onto the field as soon as it was drawn. The room around them was bathed in blue light as six circles rose from the floor, creating a blue sigil just in front of Terry. “From there, I summon the herald of disaster, the prophetic god of deception, Loptr, the shadow of the Generaider Bosses!” She called out, a priest bathed in white robes rising from the ground, kneeling as he bowed his head. With a flourish of his sleeves, red and blue trim scattered before him, his smirk illuminated only by the symbol before him. “Then, I’ll place one card face-down in my spell and trap zone, before ending my turn.” She smiled, nodding as the blank obelisk appeared before her. “Is that it?” Letty frowned. She certainly wasn’t feeling very trounced or trampled right now. Drawing her next card, Letty eyed over what all she was working with, before nodding to herself. “I suppose if you won’t make the first move, I’ll take the liberty myself! First thing’s first, I’ll activate the spell card Vampire’s Domain! Once per turn, I can pay 500 Life Points to get an extra Normal Summon that turn for a Vampire monster. I’ll be doing that now.” Letty: 8000 > 7500 “Next, I’ll tribute my face-down Vampire Familiar to summon Vampire Grimson!” In the place of the small bat Letty had tributed, a blue-skinned man, wielding a scythe and donned in a crimson cloak appeared. “This is where Familiar really comes into play. By discarding a card, I can Special Summon him back, so I’ll be discarding this Vampire Grace to do exactly that!” As Letty discarded her card, the little bat re-appeared with an impressively not-menacing screech. “And when he’s Special Summoned, I can pay 500 Life Points to activate his other effect, letting me add one Vampire monster from my deck to my hand. I’ll do that, and add Shadow Vampire to my hand.” Letty: 7500 > 7000 “Now then, I’ll use that extra summon I paid for earlier, tributing Vampire Familiar - banishing it now that I’ve summoned it with its own effect, mind you - to summon Shadow Vampire and activate his effect!” As the bat was once again removed from the field, and replaced by the towering silhouette of a man with a sword and shield, Letty explained “When he’s summoned, Shadow Vampire lets me summon a Vampire monster from my hand or deck. From the deck, I’ll be summoning Vampire Duke, and a few things happen now.” Before clarifying what was about to come, Letty pulled the monster in question out from her deck, and causing what was the very stereotypical image of a vampire to appear beside the shadow man. “Not only does Vampire Duke’s effect activate, but so does the effect of the Vampire Grace in my graveyard. Firstly, by paying 2000 Life Points, I can summon Grace back from the graveyard. Let’s do that!” For the third time this turn, Letty’s Life Points went down as a fourth vampire joined the fray, this one dressed in an elegant, but sinister, dress, complete with a crown. Letty: 7000 > 5000 “Next, Vampire Duke was special summoned, meaning I can declare one card type and force you to send a card of that type from your deck to the graveyard. I’ll be targeting your spell cards.” “Alright.” Terry nodded, frowning. “I send Generaider Boss Quest to the graveyard, as per your request.” Terry explained, the card ejecting from her duel-disk. “As a quick-effect, I’ll also activate Loptr’s effect; sacrifice yourself, and summon a beast defiant of these trifle-pawns thrown at us!” She explained, the white-robed priest nodding as he gave a bow, and began to disintegrate. “With his sacrifice, I’ll special summon one generaider from my deck; the god of fire and brimstone, of chaos and war, Naglfar!” She exclaimed, a deep red glow taking hold of one of the sigils, as from an eruption of flames rose a skeletal, beast-like figure; smoke pouring from massive horns that grew from it’s skull. “And I also activ… Actually, no, I don’t. I end my response.” Terry caught herself, eyes narrowing on her opponent’s field. “Ohhhh, that’s quite a monster,” Letty cheered, eyeing up the fiery beast-man Terry had summoned. “There’s more to that deck than I expected!” This has turned into a difficult situation. Let’s see now… “I’ll set one more card face-down, and work my way around that boss monster. Using Shadow Vampire and Vampire Duke as materials, I’ll perform an xyz summon! Go, Crimson Knight Vampire Bram!” The two monsters in question became a pair of dark orbs, which began orbiting the armor-clad vampire once he made his appearance on the field. “Surely, even with Bram, attacking that Naglfar of yours would be suicide. But, monsters can easily be killed outside of battle.” “I activate Bram’s effect! By detaching one xyz material, I can special summon a monster from your graveyard. I’ll be borrowing that Loptr you so kindly provided me~” As one of the orbs around Bram shattered, it was replaced by Terry’s monster. “That said, I can only attack with Loptr now. I won’t be doing that, of course. I have a much better idea.” “Oh?” Terry cocked an eyebrow, watching. “Turning one of my own men against me, hoping that a turncoat could turn the tide of battle…? Heroes of justice are getting devious these days.” Terry frowned, watching her opponent carefully. “You’re mistaken, I’m afraid. ‘Hero of justice’ is a title I certainly don’t fit. In any case, if I control a monster owned by my opponent, I can treat it as a level six monster for the purpose of a certain xyz summon. Before that, however, lest I forget, I’ll be activating Vampire Grace’s effect, to send another spell card from your deck to the graveyard. And then, using her and your Loptr, I xyz summon!” After the card in question had been ejected from Terry’s deck, similar to what had just happened, a pair of orbs were formed from the monsters Letty used as materials. Unlike the vampires so far, Loptr’s orb was red. “Come forth, Dhampir Vampire Sheridan!” “Now, this fellow has two effects. But we’ll only focus on the first one. By detaching Vampire Grace, I’ll be able to target a send to the graveyard, one card you control. As fascinating as that Naglfar is, I’m afraid it has to go.” “I see.” Terry frowned, the flames on Naglfar extinguishing themselves as his card was moved to the graveyard, a torrent of blood removing any flames that still persisted from his soon-to-be lifeless body. “If you’re no hero of justice, then I can't afford to take too much time here... That being said, I have to ask a question before we continue. Is your new XYZ monster subject to the same inability to attack the rest of your monsters are, due to your Bram’s ability?” She paused. “I’m not sure about the interaction myself, so…” “It is, unfortunately. And so, I must end my turn.” “Okay then.” Terry nodded, drawing her card. Scanning over her opponent’s field, she couldn’t help but frown as she saw the vast disparity in their fields; before shaking her head. “Alright. Well, this may not be up to your lofty standards, but a good boss knows when to pull their punches, and when to time their phases; so I’ll simply place another card face-down, and end my turn.” She explained, placing another card in her spell and trap zone.

The ride home that day gave him enough time to stew in annoyance. Periodically, he'd look over his seat, and towards Rei. That other good for nothing hero wannabe was involved in something to do with why they had to leave, and he was going to figure out. For now, he'd bide his time. He was still upset that he didn't get to see the main man in action, but he'd see something along those lines sooner or later. That night, Kio went to bed early. Maybe tomorrow would offer a bit more excitement. The next day sure was a doozy after all. They had a sub, Destructive Hero - Dreadbolt. He'd never forget a face like that, regardless of his quirk. "So uh… I'm not Epicenter. You guys know that. I'm aaah… I'm the Destructive Hero - Dreadbolt. I'm a friend of Glory's, he asked me to sub for a bit while some of the staff is investigating some shi- errr, while the staff is investigating some bad stuff that happened yesterday…" No doubt something went awry during the trip. He glanced at Rei for a split second. "Fuck, why did I agree to this… Tomoaki you son of a bitch…A-anyway, I'm sorry to inform you all that uhhh…Kikuchi Emi has dropped out of UA, for personal reasons." Kio sighed. Just someone who wasn't up to the challenge he guessed. Her display of skills during the first test was truly a sight to behold, but maybe that's all she was worth. A shame he wasn't able to at least make a memory card of her quirk. It looked rather strong. "But there is good news, too! She will be replaced by the next runner-up in the entrance exam! Hoshinoooooo Rika!" With an unhealthy dose of melodrama, Dreadbolt pointed toward the classroom door with both hands… standing perfectly still in perfect silence for several seconds, before slouching in disappointment, "Is it too much to ask students to be punctual??? Can't I get one damn break???" Well, not everyone could be him, but this surely wasn't a good first impression. However, someone was coming into view from the doorway. Maybe they weren't late after all. "I'm sorry, I'm here! I was lost in thought a bit. Uh... My name is Hoshino Rika, and it's good to be here! I barely didn't make it before, and I thought I wasn't going to ever get the chance again... But I'm glad to be here now!" Definitely a shy girl, she played with her face and quietly went on. "Am I supposed to introduce my Quirk? I think so. Uh, my Quirk is Chameleon. It's pretty... Straightforward, I won't demonstrate, it'll crop up over the day almost for sure." In a fit of nervousness, her body began to change colors. Quite the display, but it wasn't anything flashy. Well...he really didn't have much room to speak on that aspect himself anyway. "I'm gonna go sit down now." Kio was miffed at the fact that the girl was a mutant, but she seemed nice enough. Why the hell did someone with that kind of demeanor want to be a hero though? "Make sure you give this everything you've got. This is your lucky break after all." Kio grinned, only moving his eyes to look at the girl.

Yes it was just a simple no, lol. Thanks for clearing that up. Still deciding if I want to note interest. Have a full plate irl so I don't want to stretch myself thin. I'll put myself in the maybe pile for now. If you don't have a definite answer from me by this Friday, just ping me and I'll politely bow out.

After the bus ride Rei found herself in the office of her ABSOLUTE favorite person in the world. The "Pro Hero" Orikami. The room, much like the hero herself, seemed obnoxious to Rei. It was entirely black and white. Perhaps she thought the contrast was artsy and made her look sophisticated. As if. "And her name, you said it was Towa?" Rei sighed. She shifted in her seat and started bouncing one leg. "Yup, that's what she said anyway." Rei was already tired of this and they hadn't been at it for long. They dressed it up and called this a "debriefing" but it seemed more like an interrogation. As if she was the one who did something wrong. "Nothing else? Just Towa?" Rei was really getting annoyed now. "Yes, just Towa. How many times do I have to say that?" What did they expect, a full name, phone number, and address? "It's not much to work with. And what was the purpose of the attack?" That ticked the girl off even more. Not much to work with? Sorry she didn't get more information from the woman attacking her. It's almost as if she wasn't a professional whose job it was to stop this sort of thing. "Well she seemed really crazy so maybe that's it." "It's been reported that you and her spoke before things turned violent. Did she say anything that might betray her intent?" "She said she wanted to." Rei rolled her eyes "Be friends. She wanted to know more about me. It was really creepy." "Know more about you? Like what?" Rei was starting to grow uncomfortable. What were they looking for? What would they do if she said Towa was trying to learn her Quirk. And did it really make that much of a difference? Whatever, they could go screw themselves. If they wanted to know all this they should have actually caught the girl. "What does it matter? She attacked me and she got away. Who cares what she asked about she's a nutjob." Orikami narrowed her eyes, as the wallpaper fluttered, almost imperceptibly, "Are you hiding something, Konpaku?" "Yeah, my patience for this garbage. It's hiding somewhere and I can't find it." Rei snapped back. "Every piece of information helps us to find this girl and bring her to justice. Is there anything else from the encounter that we should know?" "Yeah she likes to choke people. Why don't you ask Chainsaw if he saw something. Or why he ran off." Rei grumbled. "We are working on that. You're free to go, but do know we will be keeping an eye on you. For your safety, of course." "Sure, you all being around was SO helpful before." Rei said as she left. Bunch of useless jerks. After an absolutely terrible day Rei finally got to go home. As she entered her house she took a deep breath. On the way here she was trying to think of what to say to her dad about what happened. How to explain the marks. How much to tell him. He was a hero too but maybe she should give some more information to him. Being her dad and all. She made her way through the house and found him sitting in front of the TV. He looked over at her when she walked in and Rei braced herself. But he only smiled and said "Hey there Sunshine. Guess the trip lasted a bit longer than expected eh? Haha, you kids really do get to play around a lot don't you? Guess it's only fair you get the fun stuff out of the way now." He gestured in the direction of the kitchen. "You were gone when I got here so I got some food delivered. It's in a bag in the fridge." Rei hovered there for a few moments as though waiting. "Is...uh, is that all?" She asked. He looked over at her and seemed a bit confused. "Yeah, why, did I forget something?" Rei shook her head and muttered "no". She then turned away and started for the kitchen. "Oh, and Rei?" She paused. "I'll be gone early tomorrow. Just thought I'd let you know." The girl continued onward to her room. She looked around blankly for a couple minutes. Everything was in its place. Nothing seemed disturbed at all. Not that she really expected something amiss. But she had to admit part of her wondered if she would find the smiling girl sitting on her bed or something. Rei started to change and happened to glance in the mirror. There was the bruise. More clear than ever before. Right in plain sight. Anyone who looked at her should have been able to see it. Anyone who cared. She turned away from the mirror abruptly and moved to her computer. Sitting down and powering it up she took out her headphones and put them in. Drowning herself in music as she stared blankly at the screen. If anything happened she was on her own. She knew that already. She knew that. So why was there this pain in her chest? Rei went to school wearing a scarf. It was a bit chilly so she figured that it wouldn't be questioned too badly. Especially since no one really had any reason to come up to talk to her about it. And as she thought she made it into her seat, one of the first to arrive, without even a questioning look. She leaned her head down on her arms which she had placed on the desk and waited for the day to begin. She raised an eyebrow when she realized that there was someone she didn't know standing in front of the class. Just another hero from what she could tell. When he introduced himself Rei already felt herself dismissing him. "One incompetent teacher or another; guess they really are interchangeable." She muttered. Speaking of interchangeable it seemed that one of their classmates, Rei honestly couldn't put a face to the name, had apparently left. She wondered briefly if she hadn't been the only one attacked and this was their way of covering it up. But no, that was ridiculous even for them. Rei briefly examined the girl that had taken the other student's place. She seemed cute enough. And not loud. Rei supposed it could be worse. Probably just another face in the crowd though.

Only characters that were in a YCM or NCM RP. (And if an RP didn't actually get off the ground and you had a character for those might work too depending) Also I spent a while trying to think what N O might stand for until I realized it was probably the word "no"? If so, correct.
