I drew angelica farnaby and riley from VC4 doing... something goofy.
-
I drew beatrix and jannu from GBF sleeping because I didnt feel like playing the event in GBF:
Spoiler -
I drew Lillie from Pokemon as a Primarina(from pokemon) on request of someone on /v/:
-
I drew this for a drawthread request on /v/:
SpoilerIt's nice to be decent at drawing but it takes way too long, especially since in that specific drawing I was basically learning each part of coloring(face/thighs/body/clothes/shadow/etcetc) as I went, from scratch, hoping I can learn it and do fast now.

I feel like Tako Otoko from yume 2kki would be super extremely popular if he came out in any modern or less obscure game, like undertale or something.

I forgot to mention it, but me and nour came back from vacation a few days ago, we were on a week vacation to the beach, and it was pretty cool. Didn't go the beach a lot, but the weather wasn't a dry, hot desert like where we live so it was nice, and the resort we were in had nice chairs and desks for me to sit down and play vidya so that was fun. (I'm boring, I know).
Also I played a bunch of games that I liked and a bunch of games that I didn't like at all and I'll be saying what I think of sekiro and the others.

I played forager, and it's short, but I liked it for what it was, it's a comfy game and a mix of zelda, stardew, and terraria, and it's full of ways to progress and new skills that unlock whole new buildings, and etc, I was anticipating what would happen next for every minute of playing the game, I was never not excited for what's going to happen next.

I posted everything that happened at the anime con, I hope you all like it as much as I did: https://neocardmaker.com/forum/index.php?/topic/708-me-and-nour-went-to-the-only-anime-convention-in-egypt-and-it-was-awesome-also-the-japanese-embassador-was-dressed-as-super-mario/

I really feel like I need to step back and learn to actually draw before drawing, even the most super mundane images I draw take a ton of time, like this sketch of hollow Knight dreaming about being a butterfly took five hours and it's borderline unfinished and looks like it was made in a 2nd grade art class. Look at the bench and the cape on the bottom, I didn't put any effort into those. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D1zdVKOX4AAOth6.jpg
But like, I get all my inspiration and prompts from the /v/ draw thread and people requesting there and I end up thinking I Need to finish stuff in a day or two before the requester gives up and leaves, so it's sort of hard for me to just wait and git gud. -
I really hate modern day grinding roguelikes where the game is not beatable unless you're the sort of guy who can beat dark souls slvl1 hitless without grinding a ton of stats or just extremely superhuman, makes it feel like you're just grinding lower floors so you have a chance at the higher floors forever instead of being about the procedurally generated items and how you use them/gitting gud. Been feeling this a lot between moonlighter, mothergunship, dead cells, immortal redneck, heroes of hammerwatch, and now children of morta and undermine, makes them feel like live services
Also they often have really boring items to find inside the actual game or really trivial stuff that doesn't change your run to run performance, or in mothergunship you just don't even use what you find and just bring a broken combo and stick with it the whole run(at least when it's not disallowed).

I want to actually make draw things on PC with my phone instead of just drawing things in art academy DS, even if they're decent, how do I link my phone's screen to my PC?

In chapters 1-4 of danganronpa V3, Despair Searching plays because of the despair of finding the murderer.
In chapter 5 of danganronpa V3, Hope Searching plays because of the hope that they're okay.

Is there any game you wish would get a 3D sequel? Asking because the transition from risk of rain 1 to RoR 2 is almost seamless and perfectly like the original and it's almost stunningly so.
I'd like a dead cells soulslike, maybe.

Is this why you play gacha games?

Made the NCM Drawthread. Make art, learn to draw, get critique, or even just browse some art, go ahead:

Reventure has one of the most assholish, garbage moves in a game I've ever seen.
Basically, you go to rescue the princess, and find her, in a jail cell, seemingly wounded and unable to move, so you open the door to her cell, go in next to her... and get an extremely loud and visceral jumpscare because that was a Mimic. But the real garbo move is that you find out later, maybe by trial and error, that you HAVE to press the switch that opens the jail cell for the mimic and then wait 20 seconds for an extra platform to spawn opposite to the cell which allows you to reach the "true princess". Also, of course, there's an ending/special cutscene for killing the true princess because you thought it was another mimic. Also, the mimic escapes, and shows up later on your escape route if you do this. Like, seriously, I feel like that's a bigger deterrent than any other exploration deterrent I've seen in a game, the designer of the evil lair really knocked it out of the park.

It's a funny game. I accidentally got an ending where you tripped on a rock and died. You were supposed to just walk into it on your way out the door, but after getting the sword, I climbed over the house, jumped off, landed right on the rock, and tripped. I couldn't help but laugh.
I like how that's the second ending, too, cause it's directly in your path out the door, but the first ending is well out of your way in the opposite direction.

Risk of rain 2 has 63 thousand concurrent players rn two days after earlyaccess release, making it the game with the 8th highest concurrent players on steam now( a little bit under sekiro and gtav). Also it's 60k higher than risk of rain 1's peak players at 5k
That's pretty amazing
-
Risk of Rain 2 is out in early access, and it has a buy one get one free deal for the next two days, cool. https://store.steampowered.com/app/632360/Risk_of_Rain_2/
Risk of Rain 1 has a lot of praise, but honestly I played Risk of Rain 1 years ago and didn't like it at all, thought it was simultaneously too simple and too hard which left going "well what do I even do to beat this?" and had no clue what to do about it, then I played it two months ago and had basically the same experience, and nour could actually beat it but thought it was boring, so I'm hoping this is different or better.
-
Risk of Rain is certainly fun, though I was never a big fan of sidescrollers. Just doesn't have the same feel to 3D games. That being said, Risk of Rain 2, from what I've played so far, is so much goddamn fun. One of the most addicting rogue-like games I've played in a while. The controls feel so much more fluid, for which my muscle memory of 3D shooters really comes in handy. So far there's not much, but there's enough to keep people occupied, and that's saying something. Based on what I read, they'll be adding 10 more characters, 10 more levels, about a dozen more bosses, about 100 more items, and they aim to polish it more. However, they also plan to double the price of the final release due to all this being added, so for me it's definitely worth it right now.

Satisfactory is such a great game, it's everything I wanted out of a 3D factorio. Basically, it's factorio, you mine some ore, use it to build machines and stuff, then you build a miner to automate mining, build conveyor belts from it to a smelter, then to a constructor, then whatever to create a big long assembly line of whatever you want to make automatically with the goal of getting enough stuff to deliver for a "milestone unlock" which gives you more stuff to build and so on, and in 3D you can even build multi-floor factories or storages.
Also it has a lot of good features, ore deposits are all found aboveground so no annoying digging down, power is easy to distribute, and, best of all, ore deposits don't deplete but you can only have one miner on them, so if you build a miner on something you can leave it there forever and not worry about needing to move the miner and stuff later and the only limiting factor to your ore production is the grade of the miner.
It's gud. https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/product/satisfactory/home

I just looked it up. Definitely looks interesting. I only played a little bit of Factorio, but I can definitely see why it gets the praise it gets. Based on the gameplay clips on the store page, Satisfactory really does look like an outstanding 3D adaptation of the former. Might have to check it out sometime.

So Devotion(a highly top selling taiwanese indie horror game inspired by silent hill/fatal frame about backwards chinese traditions) is getting review bombed on steam by the chinese and went from 10/10 to 5/10 on steam because it has a poster that says "Xi Jinping Winnie the Pooh Moron". Xi Jinping is the murderous dictator-for-life of china and has banned comparing him to winnie the pooh.
Edit since it's delisted: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1006510/Devotion/

So I beat Doki Doki Literature Club on a whim with the Natsuki ending, and honestly, it's pretty good. It's a neat experience, didn't feel too strongly one way or another about it, but I still appreciate it in that it's a cool little gimmick story.
Also here's a cool MMD: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KpV_xL2FrGA
