      This just reminds me why does the man who has so much money for whatever card he wants have a god damn Hitotsu-Me Giant especially when the ruleset back then didn't need tribute summons.

      Early Yugioh had a thing about starting off with weak monsters as a feint. Hitotsu-Me Giant was there to bait the opponent into killing it, then Kaiba throws a BEWD at their face. Iirc it could also be trap bait, because people didn't know how to save traps for later sometimes.

      Nowadays it doesn't make any sense. Just make strong plays all the time. Easy!
