  1. Only about 30-45 minutes into Gotham Knights, and so far I'm enjoying it a lot

  2. Love the design of the latest Pokemon shown... but am I the only one that thinks it's name is a bit on the lame side? I love that they teased the new gym leader could possibly be a Steel type leader with the Magnemite hair bows or whatever as well
  3. Audrey II (Little Shop of Horrors) Crawlers (The Descent) Stripe (Gremlins)
  4. The entirety of She-Hulk season 1 was fantastic, episode 7 was a little lackluster but I still liked it. The finale was definitely awesome!

Have watched 5 episodes so far, am liking it more than expected. Might be one of my favorites of the shows actually.

Like I said, episode 7 was lackluster for me, but the series as a whole was enjoyable. Moon Knight was my favorite series though, but She-Hulk is #2

  5. I found out 3 of the 5 decks I'll be facing in that duel night are Zombies, Despia and either Dinos or Noble Knights. I don't know the extent of any of them, but based on what I know about each of them... Zombies and Noble Knights could be my biggest problem with me running Metalfoes

  6. A little update on the status I posted about the Duel Night my friends invited me to... I've decided not to run Dinomist, but going to run Metalfoes instead. Ever since they came out, I've been drawn (no pun intended) towards them, such a unique archetype

  7. I know there's one with a similar name to this, but it's the best I could come up with... I'll gladly take name suggestions. I decided to make it as a support for the Venom monsters. I'm a little rusty on effects and such, so feel free to give me advice and criticism. 1 Tuner + 1 or More Reptile-Type Monster When this monster is Synchro Summoned, you can place 1 Venom Counter on each monster on the field that is not a Reptile-Type monster. Monsters with Venom Counters cannot target this monster with their effects.
  8. Have you ever wondered what voice actors have done outside of characters they're most famous for? Well, thanks to my comic con experience last weekend, I was curious and the 4 voice actors I met have done voices across all media (anime, tv, video games) and it blows my mind who some of them have voiced. If you have any aside from these 4, feel free to share! Kyle Hebert Kyle Hebert is most notable for his role as teen/adult Gohan in the ENTIRE Dragon Ball franchise (the Funimation dub and video games). HOWEVER after doing some research, I learned that not only is he Gohan, but since 2009 he's been voicing Street Fighter's Ryu INCLUDING Ryu in Wreck-It Ralph and Ralph Breaks the Internet, he also voices Kiba Inuzuka in Naruto and he's even won an award for Best English Voice Actor for his role as Kamina in Gurren Lagann. He's also voiced Greymon, MetalGreymon, WarGreymon and Omnimon in Digimon Adventure tri and Last Evolution Kizuna. He also voices Crasher Wake in the mobile game Pokemon Masters. Jeremy Inman Jeremy Inman is most famous for his role as Android 16 in Dragon Ball Z (Dragon Ball video games included). He also voiced Gouki in Yu Yu Hakusho, Mohawk in season 2 of Black Clover, Captain Akitaru Obi in Fire Force, Taggart the Huntsman in Borderlands 2 and Drunk William in Borderlands 3. Chuck Huber Out of the 4, besides Kyle Hebert, Chuck Huber has been in A LOT of iconic voice roles. Hiei in Yu Yu Hakusho, Dr Franken Stein in Soul Eater, Shou Tucker in Fullmetal Alchemist, Turner Grey in Ace Attorney, Android 17, Hell Fighter 17, Super 17, Kibito, Garlic Jr, Pilaf, Android 13, and Master Shen in the entire Dragon Ball franchise, Matchstick, Mick Zaford, Barlo Gutter, and Ulysses from Borderlands 2, Jess Collins and Ash from The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct, Tassiter from Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel and Dr Hans Volter from Killing Floor 2 just to name a few. Kent Williams Kent Williams has been more active in voice acting, but he hasn't had as many iconic roles as Chuck Huber. There are some pretty iconic roles he's done though. Android 20, Mercenary Tao, Janemba, Supreme Kai, Old Kai all from Dragon Ball, Father in Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Jura in Fairy Tail, Nobunagun in Nobunagun, the Judge in Ace Attorney, Bruce Wayne in the YouTube series Death Battle, Incinerator Clayton and Corporal Reiss from Borderlands 2. What are some voice actors you've met or done research on that it's blown your mind that they voice some roles that you had no idea?
  9. Cast Chris Pratt as Mario Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach Charlie Day as Luigi Jack Black as Bowser Keegan-Michael Key as Toad Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong Fred Armisen as Cranky Kong Sebastian Maniscalco as Foreman Spike Kevin Michael Richardson as Kamek Khary Payton as The Penguin King Charles Martinet (the original voice of Mario) has been cast to voice some cameo roles Eric Bauza has an undisclosed role Trailer
  10. If I were to post a thread about voice actors and roles they're famous for, and roles we didn't know they did... across movies, anime, tv shows and video games... where would such a thread go?

    1. Thar

      Thar

I would classify voice acting in general as a form of TV & Literature. Video games would be more for the games themselves rather than what's behind the scenes unless it's only about who's involved with video games.

and I suppose if any of the mods feel its in the wrong spot, they can always move it to where they feel it is supposed to be.

  11. Some friends of mine have decided we're gonna have a duel night, for a King of Games championship that one of them is getting made, and I'm the only one out of the 6 that runs pendulums. This ought to be interesting. I'm gonna be running Dinomist for those wondering.

  12. I'm not sure how I feel about the new Mario Bros movie, but that first trailer looks good!

  13. I have a pretty neat thread in mind to post this weekend... my comic con experience last weekend sparked it. I think it'll be a fun thread, especially if others get involved.

  14. Y'all want to know something interesting I found out from meeting the voice actors I met yesterday? The voice actor of Android 16 (Jeremy Inman) had actually read for the voice of Piccolo but got passed over for Christopher Sabat, and ended up getting a callback to play Android 16.

  15. I can now check off meeting the voice actors behind Androids 16 and 17, Adult Gohan, Piccolo, Emperor Pilaf, Dr. Gero, Janemba, General Tao, and Supreme Kai off my bucket list! They were all the absolute nicest ever!

  16. Sarah Jessica Parker in Hocus Pocus 2 has recaptured the essence she had as Sarah Sanderson in the first movie.

  17. Werewolf By Night is now classified as horror instead of comedy on Disney+ with just over a week to go until it drops! Can't wait to see what they've done!

  18. RIP Coolio. He will now forever rest in Gangsta's Paradise... 59 is way too young

    1. Comrade Duck

      Comrade Duck

Another great one gone too soon. Way too soon man.

  19. I heard this live at the beach boys concert and I HAD to go watch the video
  20. The Beach Boys, John Stamos AND Hanson performed tonight... such an AWESOME concert! Even for The Beach Boys that are still alive being in their 70s-80s, they sure know how to rock out!

  21. Just a few hours until I'm sitting in the 7th row of The Beach Boys concert! Can't wait, should be a lot of fun. Fun way to start my 10 day vacation too

  22. Well dang... the IMAX theater I frequent has closed its doors permanently... the owner of the franchise has filed Chapter 11 Bankruptcy

  23. Pennywise (from 2017's IT), Brundlefly (The Fly), Bughuul (Sinister), The Thing (from 1982's The Thing), Pumpkinhead (1988's Pumpkinhead), Creeper (Jeepers Creepers), Death Angel (A Quiet Place), The Bed Monster (2012's Under the Bed)
  24. There's a 40 minute Nintendo Direct AND a PlayStation State of Play tomorrow. Should be an interesting day for gaming news tomorrow

  25. The actor that played Cornelius in She-Hulk, Donny Blaze's sidekick, is 104 making him the oldest actor to appear in the MCU.
