  1. Wow, now this is rough. I spent countless hours in MK:SS, having fun with Time Trials and all of that. And FF:BB... I like it and is my favorite GBA FF, but I didn't spend nearly as much time on it. On the other hand, it has more replay value than MK... Going for FF because it's a game I know can replay in the future and try different things, whereas I have not felt like replaying MK for a long time.
  2. Vote for M&L. Loved the game. Haven't played Mother 3 so can't vote for it fairly, although I have heard it is good. Or was that Mother 2? IDK
  3. Hug Buzzwole - Damn thing is swolle. Plus there is this theory that as a mosquito themed it's actually filled with blood, and I find that creepily cool. Catch Gigantamax Machamp - Unique Dynamax version, No Guard (assuming the Gigantamax version can get it), Dynamic Punch, let's go! Fight Conkeldurr - I find it ugly, as good as it could be competitively. Durant | Swadloon | Snover
  4. Took me some seconds to decide but going for FFTA. Really unique style for an FF and as a Nintendo player in my earlier years I didn't experience the regular FF Tactics, so the GBA introduced me to it. I love Super Mario World, but that's originally an SNES game, and I haven't played the GBA version.
  5. Hug Tsareeena - Heck, yesh! Catch Lilligant - She is cute, and gets Quiver Dance, so it ought to be good for Pokemon battles. Perhaps not as strong as Roserade, but I wouldn't fight her so she takes this slot. Fight Roserade - my least favorite of the 3, and looks like it can put up a cool fight, let's go! Kyogre | Lumineon | Kyurem (white)
  6. Vote for FF. I liked the game, not as much as Binding Blade, but still enjoyable. A bunch of iconic characters here too, such as Lyn. Although if I have to pick a waifu from this game, I wouldn't choose Lyn, but leaning more towards Rebecca, who is also green-haired, haha. However, Harken is my favorite character from the series: I like his appearance, mainly for being of the Hero class, and he got quite the backstory, he endured a lot of stuff. I even adopted his name for making characters in other games,
  7. As pointed out in the poll for Sacred Stones, I have played the other FE games, including this one, and I liked them. I like this one the most because there are more options of characters with same classes to pick from, for example IIRC at least 2 Mercenaries and 1 Hero, including my beloved Echidna, when Blazing Blade only has 1 Mercenary and 1 Hero. The availability of Druids is even worse in Blazing Blade. If there is anything that Binding Blade is IMO missing is a promotion for the Thief class, but I guess a game can't have everything.
  8. I don't think have played the GBA version of Mario 3, but I like Mario 3 so there goes my vote. Ice Land is my favorite world, btw.
  9. Going for Ruby/Sapphire on this one. Sapphire was the first Pokemon game I owned and finished, so I cherish Generation III in a unique way. It would haven been perfect if it had introduced the physical/special damage split though. For so long I thought Crunch was Atk-based and that Shadow Ball was Special and thus not taking advantage of Banette's high Atk, haha. As for Mother 3... I didn't know it even had an international release. Haven't played the Mother series although I am aware of their praise and popularity.
  10. Biased vote because I played Fusion and I liked it, but haven't played Sacred Stones, although I did play and like the other FE GBA games, even FE6 not released in the U.S. back then.
  11. Goes down to a game I have played vs. one I haven't. And even then... I don't exactly remember when I played Emerald. I played Sapphire, and a Touhoumon spin-off of Emerald, but the actual Emerald... I have memories of meddling in the Battle Factory with a a Swagger Psych Up Claydol rental.
  12. Sounds good to me. And I agree, the Fiend integration is not a necessity, Berfomet works just fine as Beast-Warrior, and could just make things clunkier. It would be flavorful yes, but I would rather have something more practical than having the set compromise its effectiveness for the sake of spice.
  13. All right. I was told about foams for cosplay, but if my goal is to get as real as possible, it would have to be an actual armor. It's not as realistic, but maybe someday with funding and perhaps picking up forging as hobby, like those dudes that forge pop culture weapons, it may become a reality. In the meantime, how do you recommend me to get into costume modeling? I assume I will have to if I want to design foam or armor pieces. Bet there are no shortcuts, but if there is a cosplayer, tutorial, etc. you like and/or recommend, I would like to know.
  14. I have not fully analyzed everything, but at a third glance it looks solid. I am a bit concerned about Mecha Phantom Beasts abusing this support somehow, but so far I can only think of milling O-Lion (Forbidden in TCG, unlimited in OCG) for the Token and enable some shenanigans, because the mechas don't fuse, and some support in this set applies only yo Beast "Phantom Beasts". I noticed some text issues like using the word "Select", which is outdated, and the (Quick Effect) clause in the Field Spells, which isn't possible because Quick Effects are a type of monsters effects, not Spells. It would be like giving a Spell an Ignition Effect, which simply isn't a thing. An alternative is the (during either player's turn) clause, or make the effect respond to something so it works on both player's turn. I get that the Berfomet look-alike is Beast-Warrior to blend better with the set, but IMO it would be flavorful to keep it as a Fiend and possibly make the set play a bit with the Fiend type, such as turning other of the new PBs into Fiends. Who knows, if you make some of them Level 3, TGU could come in handy too. Sure, it would mean jumping a couple of hoops, but that could also justify the rewards of using Berfomet as Fusion Material.
  15. DUEA (Shaddolls, BA, etc.) format was the best YGO format.
  16. Some background first: I have wanted to jump into cosplay for the longest time, and my dream costume is a Cairngorgorn suit as real as it can be, that means getting into forging and everything, but that's more of an end goal so I would rather start with something relatively simpler, such as the bodysuit of Secco from JoJo. Since you got some experience in cosplay, do you have for me any tips, advice or sites you recommend me to check to get into cosplay bodysuit crafting? For example, I'm puzzled on where to begin to find the materials for Secco cosplay, since it has those thick strings/wire stitched all over it.
  17. Another veteran coming back, awesome! Welcome
  18. That still doesn't say much on how it affects the tea or the taste. Like, does that give it a hint of summer freshness? or more robustness? a bitter taste? Not saying nor pretending I'm a tea expert, connoisseur nor anything, but would be amusing to see an anime delve into such topics, if only casually.
  19. Mysterion no Ryuukan / Dracrown of Mysterion LIGHT Spellcaster / Fusion / Effect LV8 3000/1500 1 Spellcaster monster + 1 Dragon monster You can only use this card name’s (2) effect once per turn. Cannot be used as a Fusion Material. (1) Loses 100 ATK for each of your banished cards. (2) If a monster(s) is Special Summoned by its own activated monster effect, or by the activated effect of a monster with the same original Type: You can target of 1 of those Summoned monsters; banish it and all monsters on the field with the same original Type. Source: https://ygorganization.com/liov-dracrown-of-mysterion/ Curious to read opinions on this card. I find this really intriguing and still has me puzzled on its usefulness. I read it being compared to a replacement for Red Eyes Dragoon, or perhaps a downgrade, and in a way it is, but in another way it does something Dragoon doesn't. I find strange that it has a couple of downsides (the self-ATK reduction, and including itself in the banishment it it targets a Spellcaster), as if it needed nerfs somehow, then the lock from being used a material feels a bit random but at least it wards from opposing Super-Polys. It's not a Red Eyes monster so it's not a easy to drop as Dragoon, although it's still accessible through Magicalize Fusion. And personally I find the art super cool and IDK if it's tied to a series or archetype.
  20. This coming from someone whose username is Sleepy, it doesn't surprise me :v
  21. I did notice a trend of animes on themes of hobbies and daily life activities as well, at least I am aware of animes about cooking and farming. There are a handful of school club animes as well. So an anime about tea, coffee and/or baristas would be amusing to watch, IMO.

    Blake's Takes

I see what you mean but then, are you actually having fun with that? In the context of RPs, I thought they are supposed to be close to a game, for relaxing and escaping reality if only for moments. And yet... I found myself more anxious than anything, not knowing what would happen next, what would other participants do, and what would happen to my character, especially when it is deliberately flawed. At one point it was taking away from my sleep. If you have fun with that, then most likely RPing is just not for me.
  23. Is that so?~ Then there should be one. An anime that delves into the intricacies of the world of tea... I would watch the heck out of that.
