  1. "Me going against the grain!? YOU'RE ONE OF THE IDIOTS THAT WAS FIGHTING THE TEACHER!" "What the hell did you just call me you little brat!?" Misu repaid his glance with a fiery stare of her own, her teeth clenched tightly as the words were barely able to escape. "Because for some reason, you all thought it was a good idea to listen to some random guy in the forest!" Suda stepped towards her, as she did the same, almost shaking the bus with a stomp. "For some reason, that dumb little brain of yours couldn't fathom the idea that, maybe, he might have been tricking you. But noooo! Let's not listen to our Professional Hero teacher! Why would we trust him at all! That would be silly! Red Guy is waaaaay more trustworthy!" He turned to Val, but she was already on the warpath, swinging her arm in a circular motion. "The teacher ain't the only one I'm gonna pummel today! No one calls me stupid and walks away breathin'!" She was stopped when the preppy boy almost began to cry. "I can't exclude other people from being affected by my orbs - I would have only gotten in Springlock's way. As for who hurt Diana, considering that she was trying to stop Red Guy from stopping our mission, and the fact that I found her in... in a pool of her own... blood..." He paused, stepping back away from them. "I'd imagine that maybe, and here me out on this one, just maybe, Red Guy stabbed her. But what do I know? I'm just the only person in this bus with a working brain cell! I just want to know - dying to know - what exactly crossed your minds when you trusted that bastard!? Because if you lot are the heroes of tomorrow, we're all screwed!" "...don't...you DARE insult us like that. We did...what we thought was right and you shouldn't be criticizing us for doing that...between all of us, Misu only wanted an excuse to fight Spring Lock, since that's how she is. ...no offense, Misu." "Well it's the truth, ain't it?" Misu groaned, as she expelled some steam from her mouth. "I made a gut decision...something about the whole situation sucks, I know it, but I still made a choice I thought was right. Whether or not it was, that's on me. But I will be DAMNED if you insult me or anyone else in such a manner, especially when I did what I did to help a friend out." "Hah! What a freakin' cliche!" Misu pointed towards Yuudai, as she snorted. She started to imitate a character from an RPG she used to play in an attempt to mock him. "'I fight for my friends'! Get real, loser." She turned back towards Suda, cracking her knuckles. "As for you, I do what I want...no teacher can make me do anythin' I don't wanna do. That goes for Spring Lock, and Ms. Hitotsume too!" She walked up towards Suda, who had backed off considerably, but was still insulting them. "So what are you gonna do? Are you gonna keep running that mouth of yours, or am I gonna have to put you in the dirt?" “Sensei, Crimson-san has a very powerful Quirk. I was only barely able to escape injury myself, and I was not who he was fighting. If he wished, he could have killed both of us. I can see why you were very concerned about him. However, I think he is a good person. He did wish to help Silver-san escape his captors and worked with us to help him. When he did hurt Seigi-san, he only did it to protect himself and he went to get help right after. I just pray that whoever he is working for has his best interests at heart." "Is that so?" Spring Lock said with a sigh of relief. "Good. He hasn't changed at all since I last saw him then..." Spring Lock was tense until this point, but that sigh had relaxed his posture somewhat. "I know it's hard to believe, but he and I used to work together back in the day...before the government was involved with Quirks and Heroes. He was a jerk...and a clown...but he was a good person." He went to rub the base of his neck, sighing once more. "But after the laws flooded in, we parted ways. I had a family...he didn't. I had more to lose if I didn't accept the Government's offers." He turned to Katsurou to place a hand on his shoulder. "Ignorance is bliss, huh? You're the first generation where Heroes are commonplace because of these laws...I wish I could be so naive sometimes." "Impromptu teamwork ain't my thing, 'kay? But don't think I'm just gonna drop out just 'cause we made some bad moves out there Anything's better than bein' kicked out by ma. Don't have to many couches I can hop between." Ms. Hitotsume took a small scoop of Ice cream, and placed it in her mouth rather seductively. She pulled it out slowly, as she winked towards Itsuki. "My couch is always open..." She said, pursing her lips. She patted on her thighs, before whispering towards him. "These make for a pretty good pillow you know? You can rely on your tea-cher." The facade ended once the air escaped her nostrils, prompting her to laugh. "Well? Is your heart throbbing yet?!" Her eyes were closed, yet three eyes appeared from out of view to watch his reaction. They shrunk away once she stopped laughing, as she looked to Itsuki with concern. "In all honesty, Itsuki...I can make arrangements any time you want...so please don't hesitate to ask for help." She shoveled in another scoop of ice cream. "It's what we heroes do best, right?" "Everybody knows vampires aren't real!" Hibiki had gone on, answering her prior question. "...right?" "I dunno." Ms. Hitotsume shrugged, with a spoon in her mouth. "Well, in recorded history, vampires have only ever been the subject of pure fiction, historical or otherwise. But, that could have easily changed with quirks. After all, there's still so much we don't know about them that who knows what could be possible? I'm sure that, even if you might not be able to turn people into vampires now, there's no telling if it's just laying dormant in you, ready to come out and transform you into a true creature of the night! Of course that says very villainous, but I'm sure you could spin it to be some kind of anti-hero. Maybe with your bright demeanor you could even be just a regular hero, that happens to be part vampire. That doesn't happen very often but I'm sure if you worked at you could work with that kind of a spin. Oh, what about you Sensei? Was your quirk always like the way it is now?" "I'm surprised no one asked about my quirk sooner!" She said with a smile. "When I turned four, I could see out of an extra eye on my shoulder...it was really confusing, and It made me very disoriented. The doctors gave me an eye patch to sling over it, and that helped a lot. They were kinda like pimples...appearing and then disappearing. They were super embarrassing!" She sat back in her chair and huffed. "I had so many fashionable eye patches but man was it tough. And if I focused too hard, those lasers would shoot out of 'em!" She started swirling the melting ice cream in it's cup. "But with a little training, I was able to move them around my body, and keep them shut until I needed them...Out of sight, out of mind." To demonstrate, she moved an eye up her neck, and onto her forehead. It blinked, as it looked towards Yuuka. "Quirks are like muscles...if you know how to work it out, it'll get stronger. You'll be able to control it better!" A sly smile traced her mouth. "Which is what we're gonna work on with you losers next!"

  3. Team Showdown - Sky Palace "Could be anyone. I just hope we don't go somewhere hot again. Maybe we can find Articuno next." There was a glimmer in Isole's eyes as she said that, a look she hadn't seen before. As quickly as it came, the look went away. "As long as they don't want us to go to that volcano and fight Heatran." "Ideally it'd be one of the Swords of Justice, but going with what Landorus said, I doubt it. My guess would be... Lugia." "No, if anyone is going to bring him into the fight it'll be Captain...." She stopped, realized what she said, and grew uncomfortable. Knowing that it would bring attention to her. "Just...Captain has met him before...so yeah." It was then that Magearna returned. Over one shoulder was a comically large and oddly perfectly cube chunk of ice. She also had a pitcher of water and what looked to be an entire side of deer meat under her other arm. "Um. I hope it's enough." she said quietly. "Please try not to make too much of a mess." Taiga grinned, as she picked up the dish, swiftly. "Don't worry, Maggie! I never leave scraps! Fufufuf!" Taiga said, leaning against the side of the water. She took a large bite out of the meat, letting the flavorful juice run into her mouth. As she moaned with delight, her eyes shot back towards Isole. "Oh yeah! Why do you wanna see Articuno so badly?! Is she like...your mom or somethin'?!" It was a dumb question, but anything that got Isole to talk was good enough. "And about Captain...do you miss the Showdown? Are you gonna go back after all this?"
  4. The Skrelp had finally been defeated. He gave a sigh of relief, before waving to Kanon, thanking her for the assist. He had let go of Snipe in the meantime, as the Pokemon happily swam around his trainer. He had managed to win his first battle, and Oswald praised him for doing so by rubbing the sides of Snipe's body as he swam his circles. Looking towards the rest, he noticed that Kanon was going back towards the statue. Oswald tapped her on the back, shaking his head at her. Just the thought of staring at that thing again gave him shivers all down his spine. Instead, he pointed towards the surface, where the Clerk was now headed. He ushered her to follow, as he began making his way topside. Once he did, he took out his breather, and goggles, and took a breath of fresh air. "What was that all about? What is that thing down there?" Oswald asked the girl.
  5. "...I honestly think we did." "Eh?!" Misu turned her head to see that it wasn't Valerie who answered the question, but Yuudai. "...Truth be told, the last time I saw Silver...he was attacked by that Napalm kid during the Entrance Exam. I wanted to help him then, hell, I was planning to help him then, but that attack left him scarred and he wondered if what the kid's thought of a hero was...if that was the same thing I had." Yuudai sighed like a wimp. "Today was the first time I've seen him since then...I...I just wanted to help him, just like I was trying to that day. I wanted to show him...that my thought of a hero...wasn't like that kid's." "Oh yeah?" Misu asked, rolling her eyes. "I did what I had to do." Valerie replied. Misu turned her attention towards her. "There really wasn't another option. Not one that would feel any better.I just wish I had done more.Even if the school kicks me out it won't stop me. I'm going to be the world's greatest hero. And you know what?" She said, looking back at Misu. "I already saved one person who needed saving. If anything today just brought me closer to that goal." Misu stared at the girl with a bored expression for quite an awkward length of time, before clacking her teeth together. "Tch. World's greatest hero, huh? Sounds like a chore to me. Pass!" Misu pumped her fist into the air, banging against the top of the bus. "I just like to fight." She then scratched her cheek. "But I don't think I've ever fought on behalf of somethin', myself. I've just always kinda fought cause I thought it was fun." Her finger worked its way up to her hair, as she twiddled it around, curling her locks around it. "I think I'm startin' to get it..." She then launched both arms into the air. "But wasn't Spring Lock super strong!? No one's ever punched me that hard before! It was awesome!" "Hey!" Just then, Suda entered the bus with the others. His face really pissed her off. "W-Where is... did Diana...?" "Hell if I know...Spring Lock and what'shisface left with her. He's probably on his way to the hospital, if I had to guess." Misu then started to make her way towards Suda, rolling up her sleeves. "And now that he's here, we can give you an ass whoopin' for goin' against the grain!" “...We...We did…? We attacked you and let Silver-san escape...I...I don’t understand.” "My mission was to capture anything strange in that forest...but none of you are Government licensed heroes yet. You assessed the situation, and held to your beliefs." He turned his head to Katsurou. "Even if that meant disobeying an authoritative figure. One as strong as myself, for that matter." He sighed. "It's the most heroic thing I've seen in a long time...True Heroism. We need those kinds of ideals in this industry...but don't get the wrong idea now! You're all still zygotes! In a real fight, you wouldn't have stood a chance against me!" After some time had passed, the two were notified that Diana had made it through, despite the severity of her injuries. "That's a relief..." Spring Lock stated. "I can't have a student dying on me on their first field trip, now can I?" He laughed to himself. "So...what did you think of Scarlet Skeleto-...I mean Crimson?" His tone seemed curious. "Did he seem like a good person?" "Not happening!" Ms. Hitotsume looked to the girl with a sly smile. "Oh? Is that so?" "It wasn't easy getting the okay to come up here, so I'm not wasting it by giving up. I'm going to start training my Quirk like crazy to catch up to everyone else, too!" "Your tenacity is admirable...seeing as how small and weak you are." She scooped a spoonful of her Cookies and Cream flavored ice cream, and continued while it melted in her mouth. "Although, that voice of yours sure is nifty...I'm sure you'll be top of the class in no time! If you're diligent in your training, that is." "I admire your zeal Himura-san. As for me, well, I must say, it was certainly a far more exhilarating experience then I was expecting today. And painful for that matter." The girl nodded to herself and then said, "but I still had fun working together with my fellow classmates, and it certainly was a joy to see the criminals put away. And I look forward to many more experiences of the matter." Looking to everyone she said, "as such, I shall remain in all of your care and I must applaud everyone's work today. Good job UA. Yay," giving a small cheer at the end, pumping her cup lightly into the air she then looked to Hibiki. "Such enthusiasm for such a one note Quirk! But maybe it'll develop and evolve into something way more impressive!" She munched on her spoon, with a wide grin. "Or, it'll just continue being super lame!" She laughed, waving her hand in the air. "I'm kidding! I'm kidding!" Looking over to Itsuki, she frowned. "What's wrong with you over there, Shield boy?" Two eyes started to make their way across each of her arms, sneaking into her palms. She stuck them out at him, as they stared directly at his face. "Feeling un-eye-sy?!" "Oh right, Himura-san. Do you think you can actually turn people into vampires?" "Oh! That's a really good question!" Ms. Hitotsume exclaimed, as the eyes traveled back to where they were unseen. "Spill the beans, Hibiki!"
  6. "Nah, I don't think so. After all, I'm sure you fought hard in your life, hard enough to become a hero! Who wouldn't want to get a reward for it all? It's certainly better than any wish I could come up with," His master sighed and scratched her cheek as she grabbed her jacket. "I just want the Grail because well... it's there. I gotta show everyone that I will be the greatest mage, right? No better way than getting an infinite source of mana to work with." "Hm?" Saber said, scratching his chin. "Would the greatest mage truly take the easy way out?" He questioned the small girl. "And if you were truly the greatest, wouldn't others have to recognize as the greatest? I wouldn't think a cheater as being the greatest in anything, no? Of course...you could just kill anyone who disagreed, but I'm pretty sure you'd be the only mage at that point!" He grinned at the girl. "But what am I to say? I am merely your tool! Hoho!" Saber stopped suddenly. This feeling resonating from within him...another servant was extremely close. "I kinda get being pragmatic and stuff, but a mana bomb at the entrance of a park? That's kinda low." "Please, the odds of anyone besides Masters and Servants having enough mana to trip this bomb is virtually nil," His mastter, Ciel argued, flipping the hair out of her face. "But if you want to have a fight over it..." "Revealing yourself to the enemy, even with the element of surprise." Saber stroked his chin again, nodding. "How extremely arrogant and foolhardy." Saber eyed the treat that the servant was munching on with interest. "I agree, however, that the tactic itself was quite low." He turned around to apologize to his master with clasped hands. He then turned back with his hand on the hilt of his sword. "I wouldn't mind a spar, instead. After all, I'm more of a duelist than a trapper."
  7. This definitely wasn't the Auditorium he remembered! The hallway to get inside was full of jagged turns, and a hell of a lot of them at that. Once they burst into what he thought was going to be a very open space, he was instead met with a strange scene. It looked like the setting of some Indiana Jones movie, and it gave him a sinking feeling. Conner and Dominic were with him now, the only two who were smart enough to ditch a fight with that Mecha-Godzilla wannabe. "Dead end... guess we make some sort of final stand here...," "Final stand?" Todd perked an eyebrow, scoffing at Conner. "What are you gonna do with your final stand, huh? You gonna throw your piss soaked pants at him?" Last stand? As if any of them would be standing when that thing crashed in here. "I'll find a way out...you can distract him with a pathetic show, and I'll make my escape." "That's not what I thought a human would say..." Pix gripped her ears with concern. "We'd live to fight another day...we could find a way to beat him. Didn't you say you wanted to become the strongest digimon on this floor?" "Hrmmmm...." Pix said, scratching her ears against her head with visible confusion. "Yeah...but that's a Machinedramon!" "I don't give a damn what it's name is. There's always a bigger fish." "I like fish!" Pix exclaimed, almost forgetting entirely of their dire situation.
  8. Team Showdown - Sky Palace After the rather not so warm welcome, Taiga scoffed at Rayquaza. However, once they were ushered towards the baths, Magearna explained to them, after some prodding from Isole. "So uh. Is he sick or something?" The young woman let out a sigh. "I suppose you could say that. The others are getting...agitated. Especially Groudon and Kyogre. Those two have been fighting since you left and...well, when they fight the weather gets...bad." She looked back at the room. "And he has to keep it from going out of control. It's becoming...harder." "Well that sucks...do we have to fix that too?" Isole said, with a bit of annoyance leaking from her tone. "No, no, you've done so much. I just thought you should know." She then continued on towards the baths. Before she left them there she asked if there was anything else they needed. "Ice." Isole demanded. "A lot of ice." "You got any protein around here?" Taiga said, stripping down to her wraps once more. "I could go for some of that right about now...and some meat! Those pies really did a number on my sweet tooth." She picked at her teeth, flicking some crumbs into the water on accident. She knelt down to scoop them out and place them on the tile. She then proceeded to lower herself into the water, her skin re-hydrating after being in the desert for some time. "Wonder what's in store for us next, eh guys?" She called to the rest of the team. "Who do you think's next on the menu?"
  9. His tactics had worked, and were enough to down another Skrelp. With their numbers lowered, the Skrelp now went on a suicidal offensive, each intending on running themselves into one of the three. Thank goodness Naomi wasn't here after all, she would've definitely gotten hurt. Oswald noticed that the Skrelp that approached him was dripping with poison. No doubt getting hit by any attack from that Pokemon would result in him getting the point. He waited for the moment when the Skrelp was closest to give Snipe another squeeze around his scales. However, Bubbles had gotten in the way and started attacking the Skrelp with a tiny fury. Oswald groaned, bubbles rising from his re-breather. He had the situation under control. He then took aim on a Skrelp that approached the now defenseless Kanon, and squeezed the Remoraid once more. instead of firing off another Mud Shot, the Skrelp was pushed back by a small torrent of water. Oswald released his grip from Snipe, and then squeezed again. This time, another Mud Shot was fired at the disoriented Skrelp. It seemed that Snipe liked to alternate fire.
  10. Team Showdown - Oasis Inn The talks continued over the delicious pies they shoveled into their mouths. Taiga continued to pry into the old lady's relationship with him some more, just to see if there was anything a bit more spicy beneath the surface, but to no avail. After many laughs, and having their faces stuffed to the brim, it was time for the team to head back to the Tower to report things back to the big green meany. They showed themselves out, with Landorus noting that he would meet up with them soon. He said he still had pies to eat. With a look of bewilderment, Taiga tipped her head in defeat. She never thought she'd see the day where someone was able to out eat her. Stepping outside, that oh so familiar gust of wind teleported them straight into Rayquaza's throne room. Standing upright, for once, she stood in front of him with a big smile. "Landorus is on the team! And looky here!" Taiga lifted her shirt a bit and spread out her arms and legs. "No bruises! He was totally a sucker for a good conversation! Fufufufufu!"
  11. "Don't have much time for ideas right now." Valerie responded. She then began to whisper to them, "We don't really have to win. Just keep him here as long as possible. I'm going to keep up the pressure and make sure he can't get out of our reach. At least one of you should keep back to stop him if he slips past." "Man..." Misu whined, rolling her shoulder. "This guy's banged me up pretty good...I kinda wanted to pull the rug out from under him and give him my own beat down." She sighed in defeat. "Guess that ain't happenin', huh?" Her fist tightened, as it also began to rattle nervously. "I ain't ever lost a fight before." She said, her grin almost wavering. "Alright then. I'm thinking...a double lariat..." Yuudai said, next. "We rush in towards his front and strike him. You and your steam...and me and my belts...might push him back. Hell, maybe even some damage to him. Heh, you say when, Misu." "Did you just say...heh?" She asked, looking at his strange arm muscles with disgust. "I'm not going to stop but I'd really rather not start a forest fire. I think it's in everyone's best interest if you focus on me. If you're really a hero I think you'd want to prioritize taking me out before something happens." "Goading me into prioritizing you?" He said, getting into position. "You do pose the biggest threat to the park...I assume your convictions would give you the will to do such a thing." The tightening sound began to start up. "So be it." However, to his surprise, Valerie had rushed his position. The flames danced off of her arms as she made his way towards him. He held on tightly for a split second, before releasing his tension and letting his fist fly. The girl had anticipated this, and weaved around his telegraphed punch, rising with an uppercut the shot hot flames. The attack hit him square in the face. This time, he had to take the brunt of the attack, before letting off a small snap to give him some breathing room with air pressure alone. "When!" Misu roared, as the two made a mad rush for Spring Lock. Their arms locked against each other. Misu's arm seemed to expand to a comical degree, filling themselves with steam, as Yuudai's belts began to whir to life. They dashed past Valerie, slamming their arms into Spring Lock's gut. A burst of steam erupted from Misu's arm on impact, creating an intense explosion of vapor, while Yuudai's arm grinded away at the teacher's clothes and then skin. With a strong follow through, they managed to knock Spring Lock quite a ways away from them, at least 30 yards. However, the man still stood. His clothes tattered, his middle section scuffed, and his face slightly singed. He took a couple of fingers, and extinguished a fire that had started on a strand of his hair. "Your convictions are strong..." He said, before he was brought down to one knee. Shakily, he picked himself back up, winding his legs up in an attempt to keep them from collapsing again. "U.A. will be sad to have such student's expelled." The man's muscles bulged exponentially, as multiple winding sounds could be heard all at once. He prepared to launch himself at the student's again, until a voice permeated through the battle. "SPRING!" Crimson had burst through the treeline, his arms out in front of him. Spring Lock looked to the noise with a swift turn of his neck. The sounds halted. "One of your students totally tripped and fell on a stalactite or somethin'! They're bleeding out really bad! We need to get them to a doctor!" "RYUJI!" Spring Lock roared, as their was a sharp snapping. Spring Lock had launched himself towards Crimson, but the man had already retreated back into the forest. "It wasn't my fault man, come on!" Misu collapsed to the ground, her injuries finally getting through to her. "Jesus! That was a pain in the ass!" She fell on her back, breathing heavily. Steam poured out of her mouth like dry ice as she did so. "I'm gonna...take a breather right here...if that's cool with you guys." She waved her fist in the air, lazily. "And if it ain't I'll send you flyin'!" Following Crimson, Spring Lock finally arrived at the scene where Diana had been severely injured. Crimson had jumped ahead, avoiding the scene altogether, leaving the man with a wave. Spring Lock moved Katsurou aside. He tore off a piece of his shirt as well to replace the already bloodied cloth Katsurou had been using. Noticing the metallic ring around her thigh, he nodded to the boy. "Good thinking." He picked up Diana gingerly, and then turned his back to Katsurou, squatting towards the ground. "Get on...we're going to need you to keep this tourniquet up, or she'll bleed out. There's not much time." Katsurou would then place his arms around Spring Lock's neck. "Hold on tight." The man squatted once again, winding up his legs, before launching himself way above the treeline. He continued to bound at a rapid pace, using anything he could as footing for the next launch. As he landed in the open field with the others, his eyes sharpened. "Get on the bus." He said sternly, before launching himself through the forest again. He moved precisely, as the girl in his arms wouldn't even feel the slightest nudge, a testament to this man's incredible strength and reflexes. In no time at all, they had made their way to the nearest hospital. After having Diana admitted into hospital care, Spring Lock looked to Katsurou. "You did well today." He turned away from the boy, rubbing the underside of his nose. "You all did well." Misu made her way towards the bus with all the others, before crashing in a seat by herself. She'd wait until Valerie got on the bus to ask her a question. "Yo...you think you did the right thing today?" She scratched her head in frustration. "Honestly...I kinda just wanted to fight that teacher...but after doin' something for that thing...I feel kinda.." She frazzled her hair in confusion. "Ugh! I don't even know!" The woman laughed gleefully as she approached Itsuki's shield. "TIME FOR ROUND TWO LITTLE BOY! YEEHAW!" The sounds of the street being ripped to shreds by this woman's somersault filled the air. That was until Hibiki's scream tore through the clatter. "Stop or I'll turn him into a vampire!" The bat girl threatened, baring her fangs and then pointing up to the sun. "And then he'll get fried like some cheap fast food by the sun up there, because that's what happens!" "oh. So that's what happened to that one kid at the entrance exam." The other chimed in. "Eep!" The girls attack came to an extremely sudden stop, causing some street in front of her to crack, sending debris and wind towards Itsuki's shield. "You're...You're bluffin!" With the statement, Ren could be heard laughing. "I wouldn't chance it, sis." He chuckled. Raising both of his hands in the air, Renegade smiled towards Gypsy. "They got me...and I don't really wanna be a pile of ash right about now..." The girl's cheeks puffed out, as she began to pout. "Geez! That's what you get for getting beat up and caught! You're useless Ren! Useless! Useless!" She raised her hands in the air as well. "Some heroes...threatening my brother like that...Guess I got no choice then, hu-" A beam of energy surged across the street, landing right in Gypsy's gut, knocking her out cold. Ms. Hitotsume strutted over to her, placing handcuffs around her wrists and ankles. She did the same with Renegade, making sure to not make contact with his body in any capacity. As sirens began to blare in the distance, Ms. Hitotsume turned back towards the others, clapping her hands. A large smile painted her face. "Good job today everyone~! What a wonderful display~! I got to see how you all reacted in this kinda situation~! If I had to give grades, I'd give everyone a mega U.A.+~!!" She then turned her clapped hands into two thumbs down. Her smile was washed away with a raised eyebrow, and a disgusting frown. "Psyche! That was pathetic! It took you forever to dispatch a couple of low-level thugs! When I first started this whole hero thing, I was beating baddies like these like I was wiping my own ass!" She laughed, before wiping a tear from her eye. "Makes me a little nostalgic watching your faces getting stomped, though." She stuck her hip out, placing a hand on it. The police and paramedics had arrived on scene, taking the thugs into custody, and placing Herc and Taro on stretchers, whilst the other students were looked at. The paramedics struggled to lift Herc into an ambulance, as they recruited a couple of officers to assist, ultimately needing eight people to put Herc in the back. The two were sent to the same hospital that Blake had been sent to, as there conditions were not as critical. The rest of the students were taken to a nearby ice cream shop. Ms. Hitotsume told them all to buy whatever they liked, as the patrons stared at the battered students. "So...what do you think of hero-ing?!" The teacher asked them, with curiosity drilled into her expression. "Totally wanna give up, don't ya?"
  12. The stream of water didn't seem to affect the Skrelp much, as the Pokemon seemed only displaced in the water. Luckily, their instructor, and guide, was able to land a clean electric attack with their Chinchou. It knocked the Skrelp out quite effectively. Oswald kept holding onto Snipe as if he were some kind of automatic weapon, scanning the now murky waters for more Skrelp. One of them must have let loose a smokescreen to hamper their vision. Knowing how ineffective Water Gun was going to be here, he opted to use it strategically. Squeezing snipe once more, the Remoraid let out a jet of water that seemed to scatter most of the clouded water. Once a Skrelp was in view, Oswald aimed Snipe in it's direction. Snipe's eyes seemed to hone in on their target as well, Locking On to the Skrelp. With another gentle squeeze, Snipe opted to shoot out a glob of mud at a incredible speed towards the Pokemon.
  13. "No, no, no. In fact, it was perfect!" The girl had a grin from ear to ear. It made him smile as well. "A perfect introduction for the strongest class!" She cleared her throat, introducing herself next. "I am your Master, Ciel Argus. Between my brains and your strength, we're sure to win this Holy Grail War and get your wish granted!" Ciel had paused, making him cock his head curiously. "So, what's your wish anyways? Wait, on second thought, tell me as we move. We should do some recon on the town and set some traps for the other Masters," She ran out of the room, throwing on her coat. "Let's go and start this Holy Grail War!!" His master seemed to be quite the hasty and rambunctious one. With a hop, skip, and a jump, Saber ran after his master. "Traps, huh?" He questioned, with an eyebrow raised. "I'd rather not stoop to such guerrilla tactics, but if my master wishes then I shall go along with such a plan." As they continued on, he looked to the sky. "My wish...is to meet my lord and savior." He proclaimed. "I fight in his name, yet I have never beheld his face. I know it sounds arrogant of me, but I would like to be rewarded for all that I've done." He laughed under his breath. "Is it too greedy a wish?"
  14. Misu's body tensed up, as Spring Lock launched himself towards Silver and Scarlet Skeleton's direction, looking to take out Valerie along the way. Even after pumping herself up, Spring Lock's momentum was way too much for her to be able to catch up with. She wouldn't let that stop her, as she shoved off with a strong step. Valerie had sent a torrent of flames towards the man, but his sheer approach speed was enough to deter the flames. Even Yuudai's attack seemed to be deflected. As the man closed the distance between them, Valerie would feel a sick churning in her stomach, as Spring Lock's fist lodged itself into her abdomen. After a moment, another tightening could be heard, snapping mere milliseconds after. The man's knuckles would jut out like pistons, lifting Valerie into the air and off of her feet. He reeled back his other arm, looking to strike Valerie again with an open palm, but Misu had finally made her way to the brawl. She used her forearm to deflect the oncoming palm strike, reeling the attack up, and spouting a cloud of mist from her the pores of the deflecting appendage. Spring Lock's eyes squinted, as he tried to see through the obscure cloud of mist. He hadn't blinked, but a fist had torn it's way through the vapor. The tightening sound was now coming from his head, as Misu's fist landed square in his cheek. The man's head didn't move, but he grunted all the same. Misu tried to dig the fist in further, but the effort would be futile. "Damn, this guy's stiff as a boar-" Misu would be interrupted, as Spring Lock's fist erupted in a skyward uppercut. Her jaw clacked together forcefully, as the blow was enough to send her higher into the sky than Valerie had been launched previously. She landed on her back with a thud, the harsh landing making her gasp. Spring Lock looked around him too see that most of the other students had run after Scarlet Skeleton and the target. He looked to Yuudai, who had yet to make a move. "You're all clearly outmatched. Give up, and I'll make sure the school overlooks this." The crumbling of dirt could be heard from where Misu had landed, as she clutched the earth to prop herself up. She was breathing heavily, but she wore a huge shit-eating grin. "I'm used to gettin' in trouble, teach." She said, stumbling as she rose to her feet. "And I've taken harder punches than tha-" Again, interrupted by Spring Lock's noisy quirk, he had made his way over to her in an instant, sending a crushing chop down towards her abdomen. The blow kicked up the dirt and gravel underneath Misu, clouding the area around the two. "I'll make this as swift as possible." The tightening noise wound itself back up again, as Misu looked towards the sky with a blank expression. However, once the creaking stopped, Misu's body seemed to explode with a cloud of thick mist. Spring Lock looked down, but couldn't see the girl who was just beneath him. He wound up his body once more, preparing for a strike, but nothing came. Instead, once he had snapped loose, all the mist around him dispersed, and Misu sprang upwards with both legs crashing into Spring Lock's body. The man was launched back a bit, as Misu drove the kick home. She used his torso as a spring board, and bounced off, landing towards the other three. She wiped some blood from her mouth, as she spat more at the ground. "He can't wind up forever...he has to let it go...or else I bet somethin' tears." Misu's muscles bulged a bit more than prior, as she lowered her body. "When you hear the snap...you should probably move...so do you numb-nuts gotta any bright ideas?" "... I don't think Silver will hurt anyone. There's been... <ample opportunity> to do so. However, I have to verify it for my own eyes... and if you can prove to me that you won't hurt him, I'll even help you escape." Scarlet Skeleton looked at the girl for a moment, before scratching his head. His foot tapped at a rhythmic pace, as he hummed to himself. "Uh...How do I do that? I think if I wanted to, I could've killed you, him, that girl and boy from earlier, and even this kid," He said, pointing to Yuuka, "Im the blink of an eye. I'm not a bad guy...we just have our own way of doing things." “Seigi-san, I understand that Scarlet Skeleton is not to be trusted" "Hey!" "But he is willing to help Silver-san escape for now. Sensei is coming any second now, we have to keep moving. Once we are safe, we can decide what to do!” "For real kid, I've got a real tight schedule, and I gotta see if Silver likes his new accommodations!" He gestured towards the deeper parts of the woods. "Besides...if I fight you kids, I'll never hear the end of it from the others! 'Way to go beating up some little heroes, Crimson!'. 'I bet you feel like a real tough guy, Crimson!'. It'll never end! So help me help you help me!" The girl laughed, as her feet made contact with the black, opaque shield that Itsuki had erected around his friends. However, her face turned sour as she noticed she hadn't cracked through as immediately as she wanted to. As a matter of fact, the thing seemed to be pushing her back with force. She struggled, to crunch down on the shield, but was instead forced off, landing in front of Ren. However, two of the girls had launched themselves at her feet, opting to grab hold tightly. "Hey! No touching!" She said, whirling her fists around, making her body light up. She then planted her hands to the ground, lifting herself into a handstand along with the two girls, launching them one at a time with a kick of her legs. "Well that ain't something you see everyday. Hey sis, I don't think I've ever seen one of your stomps stopped in it's tracks before!" Ren exclaimed, as he almost hocked up a lung. "The brat just got lucky is all! I didn't put enough step into it!" She started jogging in place, as she began to glow. As she started to glow brighter, her movement's became quicker and sharper, only intensifying the light that came from her body. However, a large beam from Ms. Hitotsume's eye collided with her side, causing the girl to tip over before regaining her momentum with a cartwheel. She continued her cartwheel, as it started to tear up the street. It sounded like a buzz saw, as she careened towards the group of kids. Ms. Hitotsume's eye glided over her skin, as if traversing through water, redirecting itself towards Gypsy's path. Once the beam made contact, it was split into many different streams, colliding into different buildings. "Well then." Ms. Hitotsume said, looking at her nails, and then to Itsuki. "Think you can stop that with your fancy shield?"
  15. Team Showdown - Oasis Inn "I... uh..." Scarlet started, prompting Taiga to turn towards her. "I... wanted to apologize... to all of you... for my outburst earlier. "She got out, rubbing her arm. "I got a bit carried away there... and..." The girl shook her head, . "...I'm sorry." "Geez, you're way too thick, you know that chrome dome?" Taiga shrugged. Isole had made her way towards the table during the apology, taking multiple bites of pie. She must've been starving, or this was some really good pie. Taiga joined her in gulping down her slice, grabbing another. "This sure is some great food, granny Vibrava!" "You kids are too much. Fine, I get it, you're strong, you're sorry, that's all well and good." He winked at Isole. "Why don't we just enjoy ourselves now eh? No reason to worry about all this serious stuff right now. I'm sure you both could use some relaxation after all this." "We got a lot of relaxin' done at Rayquaza's pad." Taiga said, waving a hand in the air. "I'm still glad we could convince you without getting bruised up again, though! Fufufufu!" Taiga smacked her stomach with a smile. "I got one bad here from our little tussle with Zygarde!" She then pulled her mouth over, showing her pearly whites. "Pretty sure Groudon knocked a tooth out...but they just grow back so quick I can't remember!" She kicked her legs as she snorted. "Throwin' down with you legends sure ain't a treat, but man ain't it fun!?" She calmed down, looking towards Landorus. "So what do you and Old lady Vibrava got goin' on here?" The girl perked up an eyebrow, before leaning in to whisper something. "Is she your type or somethin?"
  16. Each of the three continued to look at the statue, but something about it was way too alluring. Looking towards the bottom of the statue, the Tentacles of the Malamar seemed to twist and turn, the rhythm extremely relaxing. It was enough to put Oswald in a trance. As the clerk lady reached out to touch the statue, a faint green light permeated the water around them, and Oswald saw Tentacles wrapped around a face in his head. The thought was so strange, but he was too enticed by the statue to much care. However, their guide's Chinchou let out a blinding light from it's antennae, forcing Oswald out of his bewilderment for the statue. He turned around in an instant, shaking his head. He looked to the others, who seemed to be snapped out of their daze as well. Oswald then looked to Snipe, who had looked at the trainer with worried, unblinking eyes. Oswald pet the fish's side, but noticed that a large pod of Skrelp was now headed their way. A battle underwater would be extremely difficult, but hopefully Snipe would pick up on his cues. He pointed at the pod of Skrelp, and then to his mouth. He made an expanding motion, but the fish continued to stare at him. Oswald grabbed a hold of his Pokemon, and aimed it in the direction of the Skrelp, and gave him a little squeeze around the sides. A jet of water expelled itself from Snipe's mouth, headed towards the pod of Pokemon.
  17. "Well, it's not so much about needing their help as it is getting them out of this place," Zubamon commented. He stood tall and proud as he walked into the Library. "No need to fear, hoomins!" He called out as he walked in. "We're here to help you escape! You can call me---," "ZUBAMON!" A strange digimon suddenly yelled, jumping off the table and marching up to Zubamon, glaring at him. "LUDOMON!" Zubamon yelled back, the two glaring at each other fiercely. "So, this is where you were hiding, you coward?" "Oh great...more of these little twerps..." Todd groaned. "I wasn't hiding. In fact, I got myself a human partner!" Ludomon seemed to brag. "O-oh yeah? W-well... well, I don't need a human partner! I'm being trained by the legendary Knight of the Wind!" Zubamon bragged back, causing Ludomon to falter. "SAY WHAT?!" "Well, that's a new name," Mr. Henderson muttered. "New name, Smew name. HEY ZUBA! AREN'T YOU GONNA GET US OUT OF HERE OR WHAT!?" Todd yelled, rattling his fist. That's when a voice echoed through the entire school, one that sent shivers down his spine. "Gahahahahaha!! I know you're here human! Come out so I can kill you!! Come on out or I'll kill those young ones!" "DEVIMON!?" Pix recoiled in horror. "He's supposed to be on a different floor! Now I definitely ain't the strongest one here!!" She said, gripping onto her floppy ears, and using them to cover her face. "NOW YOU'RE GONNA BE COY?!" Todd roared at the small brown rabbit, only for Conner to scream from behind him, and tackle the boy to the ground along with the others. A huge beam of light shot through the cafeteria, vaporizing the Devimon in an instant, and destroying the wall behind them. "Everyone!" Mr. Henderson yelled at the top of his lungs. "Run into the auditorium! We need to get as much distance between us and this monster as we can! Go, NOW!!!" "Stop tellin' me what to do! You aren't the boss of me!" He then looked to the giant, robotic dinosaur who had made the large blast. His stomach sank, as the creature stood near the entrance, menacingly. Todd picked up Pix by an ear, and hightailed it towards the auditorium.
  18. This feeling was so nostalgic...had he failed last time? It was all a blur to him. But here he stood again, waiting to be taken to another battlefield in another time. He took a moment to prepare himself, but it was not enough. He felt his aether plunge into the mortal realm. There, he knelt in what was such a familiar sight to him. A homemade summoning circle surrounded him, and a small girl stood before him. Her command seals shown prominently. This was his new master for his new quest. He stood before her, bowing as immediately as he had risen. "Hola!" He finally spoke, perking his head up and straight forward. He wore a goofy smile on his face. "I am your humble servant, ___! The Saber you so meticulously summoned!" He placed a hand on his hip, as he returned to a standing posture. "With my sword at your side, I swear on all that is holy in this world that your wish will be answered! None shall stand before us! All those who try will have their lineages dashed from existence, so that none may remember their disgusting failure!" He then placed the other hand on his hip, and cocked his head. "Too much?" He asked the scarlet haired girl in front of him.
  19. Team Showdown - Oasis Inn "Maybe it is time to show you kids what's up after all. You all have gotten so far off track." With a grunt he sat back down. "I don't even get a week off before back do business do I?" He raised a hand towards the two. "Come, sit, there's pie to be had." Taiga eyed the pie, taking a seat and nodding her head. "Thank you for understanding!" She said, before taking a slice for herself. "So you said you left Rayquaza in charge, right? He seems kinda useless to me." Landorus laughed. "Well more I didn't oppose it. I'm not sure what your experience with him is but he's the strongest of us. And the one who was closest to Arceus." "Doesn't seem like good qualifications for becoming a leader..." Taiga grumbled, biting into her pie. "What do you think of him? Is he worthy enough to be leading this whole war against the Slayers? I didn't even think he liked us for the longest time. I just kinda feel like we're being used here." "War? Hrm, no, this isn't a war. I've seen a couple of those. This is something else...To answer your question. Honestly? I don't think any of us are fit to get everyone to work together. I'll be surprised if even half of us can be gathered for this fight." "If this ain't a war, what is it?" Taiga questioned, still munching on a piece of pie. "And you don't gotta have half of ya! We can fill in the gaps! Team Showdown is basically one legend in it's makeup!" She leaned in to whisper. "I'm doin' all the heavy lifting, so if anyone is an honorary legend, it's me! Fufufu!" "I'd call it...assassination. The wars were much...different than this." Landorus then leaned over towards Taiga and grabbed her arm, feeling the muscles, then compared them to his own. "You might need a few more years before you can claim that much." He said with a sly grin. "Just you wait! One day, all y'all will take orders from me one day! Fufufufu!" She rubbed the nape of her neck as she laughed. "That's a joke! I wouldn't want to deal with having to wrangle you all into Team Showdown anyway...you're all too big to be crafty treasure hunters too." She the placed her pie down on the table. "Assassination huh...well they can't assassinate us all at once! When it comes down to a brawl, we'll be the ones comin' out on top! The godslayers don't got nothing on Team Showdown!" She proclaimed, hoisting her pie into the air, like a sword on the round.
  20. "Ah, hell." Valerie muttered. "Go on then, get him out of here." The girl said towards the geezer they arrived with. "If this is a trick I'll be first in line to kick your ass, though." Misu couldn't help but roll her eyes, and let out a huff. "Yeah...this thing's totally pathetic. If you could find it somewhere safe to live, I'm sure the heroes would be fine with that...Not like I care or nothin'." That's when she noticed someone jumping from out of the brush. Silver's whole body was dragged to the ground, as he desperately tried to struggle back to his feet. "And just what the in the hell do you think you're doing!?" Suda shouted, hand extended towards the beast. "We had orders to capture this thing, not leave it with some forest hobo. Well, what are you waiting for? Help me catch this damn thing! I can't hold it like this forever." "What the hell are you doing you bastard!" Misu said, her muscles instinctively pumping themselves up. Misu stopped once Yuudai interjected, stopping his Quirk in the process. Silver snaked his way towards Valerie, cowering behind her. There, Yuudai and the Geezer exchanged words, but Misu didn't like where it was going. "Yeah...and my gut is saying not to just hand you Silver." Yuudai stated, looking over at Valerie. "Sorry...but this is where I'm drawing the line. Cause everything about this is having my gut go nuts. I'd rather not find out this is a trick and just avoid this all together." He then looked over at Suda, shaking his head. "Also, Silver is not a THING...so don't refer to him as such. He's very much alive..." “Clark-san. I agree with Shiba-san, we cannot allow this man to take Silver-san away. I do not think we should bring Silver-san back to the academy either. We, as heroes, are called to protect the innocent, not to judge them. Silver-san has done nothing wrong and only wants to be left alone, free from wherever he came. I believe in my heart of hearts that as long as Silver-san does no evil, we cannot capture him for sins he did not commit.” "That's the way Kats!" Misu flexed, grinning wide at the boy. Misu lifted her hand, and lowered a pointed finger towards Yuudai. "Who the hell are you to say where Silver goes anyway!? Isn't that for the freak to decide himself! He's obviously not some kinda wild animal. The thing can think, and it doesn't wanna go with teach." "It doesn't get a say in this." From behind Suda, Spring Lock stepped out onto the scene. He cracked his knuckles, his eyes locked on to Crimson. "That thing is government property...and the government wants it back. As a government agent...I don't get a say on the matter either." His gaze shifted to Misu, Valerie, and Katsurou. "It's coming with us...now be good students, and do as your teacher says." His eyes then retracted back towards Crimson. The man in his gaze had his eyebrows raised in suspense. "Step away from Scarlet Skeleton...he's dangerous." "Oooooh! I haven't heard that name in some time!" Crimson said, rubbing the back of his head. "Trust me, Springy...I don't want this scene to get messy, and I don't wanna involve your students...so let's just let Silver here off the hook. I'll take him somewhere nic-" "ENOUGH OF THAT CRAP!" Spring Lock said, lowering his posture and retracting his arm back. The motion was machine-like, and seamless. Silver trembled from the man's pressure alone, as he harbored the Raccoon in his arms. A snicker could be heard emanating from Misu, as she took a lower stance as well. She let one arm hang loose, and the other raised to her side. "I ain't really been the best at listenin' to adults...I got my own way of doing things. And what you wanna do, don't sound so heroic to me." Steam started to pump out of the pores of her exposed forearms. "I've been raring to have myself a good fight since I started this boring ass school...so why don't we just stop with all the nice talk, and get down to it..." Misu's jaw trembled, with anticipation or nervousness. She couldn't decide which. A sigh could be heard from Spring Lock, who did not lower his guard. "I admire that spirit, Yoshino-San." Something in the air sounded like it was tightening. "Do not hold this against me." "Geez...now I've gotten myself into a mess..." Crimson sighed, as he looked to Val. "I don't suppose my number one fan would hate lending me a hand here, would she?" He laughed, as red protrusions started to crack through his back and arms, tearing his clothes in the process. "I can't stand by and let Silver suffer. Not if I have a say in it." The wall of energy plowed it's way through the city street, causing Herc's body to bounce back in strange, and possibly harmful, ways. As Taro tried to do the same, his small body would be flung back several meters in the blink of an eye. Thankfully, with the other's backup strength, Herc was able to hold back the devastating wave until it dissipated into the air. The process took about four minutes in it's entirety, and Herc would find the front half of body battered to an obscene level. The thug across from them wore a smile on his face, as his body looked the same way all around that Herc's did. As the wave finally dissipated, Yuuka's ball of gas hit the epicenter. "Not bad, kids..." The man said, before collapsing to his knees on the pavement. He let out a pretty heavy sigh as he did so. "RENEGADE!" The girl from the block over had screamed, running over to him. Her body glowed, as she began to do flares around the man. As her legs circled around her body, the gas started to swirl around, being whipped into the air. When the gas faded, she picked Renegade off of his feet. "Do you need a charge?!" She asked, with a hand on his chest. "If you did that...I think I'd die." He laughed, coughing as the unimaginable pain started to course through his body. "I think this is the end of the line for us, Gyps." "I'm still standin'!" Gypsy pleaded, facing the students. "They're all weak, thanks to you! I can handle them!" Her feet started to trot about the street, as her body started to glow. "They have no chance against the Kinetitwins!" A look of embarrassment swept over Renegade's face. However, her feet stopped in their tracks once a beam of energy came sweeping through the field. From where Gypsy had entered, Ms. Hitotsume did the same, walking up to the scene with a sway in her hips. The eye on her stomach seemed to be smoking. She looked to Herc, and then to Taro's strangely contorted body. She gave an inward hiss at the sight. "You boys alright?" She said, rather apathetically. "I haven't been using my Quirk in this fight 'til just now...so with the rest of your support, I think we can close this out." "Were you underestimating me this whole time!?" The girl shouted, as she did high knees in place. Her glow started back up again, as she started to spring into the air. She used the momentum to make a running start, turning the run into countless somersaults. With a booming noise, she sprang high into the daytime sky, and plummeted down with her heel stuck out. The kick aimed itself at Herc, and the flare from the sun was enough to stop Ms. Hitotsume's quirk in it's tracks. "Ah geez...I forgot my sunglasses."
  21. The water grew darker the further they dived, but Chinchou's light made the area around them easier to see. Chinchou were common in Johto, so seeing one here was somewhat nostalgic. These little guys sure were handy in the right scenarios. Even the Pokemon's flash was able to deter some unwanted attention from wild Pokemon. It would be best to avoid getting in a fight with so many poisonous Skrelp down in the depths. As the group moved deeper, they came upon some strange sunken structures. Kanon motioned him over to some in particular. They seemed to be man made, and built with purpose, depicting scenes of humans worshiping something like a deity. It was strange, but it wasn't uncommon for people to worship ancient Pokemon. However, this statue looked way too familiar...that same Malimar from before, here at the bottom of the bay. Was this what the Skrelp were swarming around?

  23. Team Showdown - Oasis Inn "Well can't say I expected that." Landorus said. He nodded towards her and smiled. "You, you don't seem half bad. You're honest and I like that. I left it to Rayquaza because that's how this goes." He shrugged. "My job wasn't to take charge. It was to keep my brothers in check. Those two are strong. They helped keep things in balance most of the time. But sometimes they got a bit...out of balance. That's when I wake up and calm them down." "Well looks like you're out of the job now, huh...unless the other one's makin' hell somewhere else..." She sighed, making a half-assed attempt at dark humor. "So what I want is to end this madness and for things to go back to how they were, before Gods and their slayers." Taiga stared at the girl next to her, dumbfounded. "And what did I wake up to this time?" He looked at Scarlet. "People killing us because they felt they knew how things should be done. You don't like us? Fine. But until you've lived as long as I have you sure as hell can't blame me for what I do or don't do." Landorus frowned. Gazing down at the pie. "Maybe I just want to enjoy however much time I have left. Cause even if we stop them there's people like you who think they might be right. And then we'll be hunted all over again." He gave a bitter laugh. "From what I hear this world has been going to shit for a while now. A time before the 'Gods'? What do you think got us into this?" "You're just echoing the God Slayer Manifesto, Chrome Dome!" Taiga barked at her friend. "How do you 'spose we get to a time without Gods, while there are still Gods walkin' around!" Taiga was dumb, but she'd never thought she'd hear anything dumber than what Scarlet just uttered. She shook her head, still bewildered. "I thought we were tryin' to save everyone...Gods included..." Taiga blushed, before twiddling her thumbs. "And then take all their money, of course!" She looked back towards Landorus. "I'm sorry Landy...my cohort isn't that great with her words...she don't talk much." She looked to Isole. "Neither of em do...I'm basically the mouthpiece of this here Team." She stuck out her hand, and grinned. "Team up with us and the gods...we're gonna need your old muscles if we wanna make it out of this alive. Wouldn't your brother's want you to avenge 'em? Yer not obligated to...but at least show 'em up by taking a few down yourself."
  24. "It's alright. Even if it attacks I can handle it. Just hold on there." "Where do you get off tellin' me what to do!" Misu rattled her fist towards Valerie. She crossed her arms and looked to the ground. "Whatever...but if that thing jumps you, I'm not butting in." "I don't think they'll do anything unless you do. She might look scary but she's not a bully. Kinda put me in a tough spot you know. I'm supposed to stop criminals, and, well, I guess you maybe are that?" She frowned. "But I'm also supposed to protect people who need protecting. And I kinda think you might be that too." "You seem to be in quite the conundrum." Silver nodded. "I find myself to be in one as well..." "Yeah, sounds like you happen to be pretty innocent except for just taking refuge here." He shrugged slightly, smiling. "Well, didn't hurt to try and ask if you saw anything. ...er...well, sense anything. Forgot you don't happen to have any eyes...no disrespect." “Uhh...Silver...-san… I apologize for this confusion. I thought your friend was the dangerous creature we were sent to capture. Clark-san is right. If you are as peaceful as you say, it would not be right to capture either of you.” The boy's Quirk melted away, releasing the Raccoon from it's bondage. “Silver-san, we were sent by the Hero Association to investigate disturbances. If we were to report that you were taking refuge in the forest, I cannot guarantee that more heroes will not come. Where did you come from? Would it be safe if you returned there?” "Where did I....come from?" The creature latched onto it's head with both hands, writhing at the thought. A weird sensation would flood everyone's mind at the scene, causing them slight pain or discomfort, depending on their tolerance. It almost sounded as if he was wailing. Misu gripped the tip of her hat, grinding her teeth. "Hey! Snap out of it! This is starting to be a pain in the ass!" After a moment, the noise stopped, and Silver stood there, petrified. "Where...did I?" It questioned itself yet again, but obviously came up with no answer for itself. "My birth...eludes me...I'm sorry." Crimson started his walk up towards the group, knocking his head a couple of times. "Sheesh...that did a number on me." He made his way to Valerie. "Time's up kid. You made a decision yet?" "Who's the geezer..." Misu groaned. "This 'geezer' is here to relocate this creature. If he can't stay here, we'd gladly take him off the park's hands, and give him a safe home." The word home made Silver's head pop up, as he looked to Crimson, then to Valerie. "Does this man speak the truth?" He posed the question to Valerie and Yuudai. Meanwhile, in the bushes, Suda and Diana would hear rustling behind them, only to find two large palms grip them by the mouths. "Don't scream...you'll alert the others." It was Spring Lock who spoke. He slowly released his hands from both of their mouths. "You've found the target...so why haven't you made a move. We have orders to catch that thing...dead or alive." "Hey, meat-head!" A voice called. "Do you think tossing a bug is impressing anyone? I was doin' that shit when I was a toddler! Why don't you try this on for size!" Half blind from the gas that enveloped him, the man looked over to see a boy try to sweep his leg. The attack connected, but there wasn't enough force to make the man glow even brighter than before. Was he even being serious? "Why you little! GET SERIOUS OR GET DEAD!" The man lifted his foot, planning to stomp on Itsuki's chest. However, before he was able to make contact, some sort of slippery substance placed itself between him and the boy. It was even more than slippery, as the man's momentum almost made him fly into the air. From across the pond, the man's face dropped as he saw a familiar sight. The car crunched as it made contact, sailing across the street and into the same building as before. This time, however, the car seemed to float in midair, as the man's feet made contact with the ground. He was clutching both sides of the front end with his hands, struggling to keep the car upright, before he put it down. "The same dumb trick isn't gonna work twice..." He said, as he rolled his shoulders. "Time's up." He said with a raspy voice, before the glow around him almost seemed to flash like lightning. The area around him began to quake violently, as a large burst of energy made of harsh yellow light erupted from the man. The burst comprised itself of a half dome shape that seemed to expand from the man as it's epicenter. It crushed anything that it made contact with, destroying the building behind him, as it made it's way towards the students. "Ooooh! I haven't seen Ren get this amped in a hot minute! Your student's must be really dumb! Heehee!" The girl giggled, as she stopped fighting for a moment to run away from the attack. "I'm starting to think so too..." She sighed, as she made after the girl.
