  1. "As for fighting. Suppose you could say I like it. More I like two people putting their all into something to test their limits. No reason to fight otherwise though." A match with this girl would surely be a fun one. Misu would keep a close eye on her, just like she would with that first brat she ran into...or rather, that ran into her. "You wouldn't have happened to have fought a friggin' stupid strong girl, did ya? I've got some payback that needs cashing in." Misu growled towards the girl, as she cracked her knuckles. "She'd have a stupid cat doll that wouldn't stop meowin...it was mine originally but the punk up and stole it." For someone so strong, the girl was sure a coward...but there was no way someone like that wasn't making it to the end. "Great job on making it back everyone." Misu cringed at such a peppy attitude. How did this one make it back alive? "Uh...yeah...you too." Misu said, a little confused at the frail looking thing. As time went on, more and more individuals began to show up at the gate, surprisingly a lot less than she'd imagine. A boy with striking, dark-red hair led the charge with a rather smug look on his face. "Ah...so that boy still hasn't made it huh? Maybe I shouldn't have taken his medal. A tragedy to say the least." He said, with a hint of rather fake empathy tinged in his voice. "However, if there are somehow people here without 5 badges, I'd be glad to trade." The boy swung a makeshift sack over his shoulder, letting a total of twenty badges fall out in front of him. The ghostly white of his palms shown as he stretched them out. "For a hefty price of course." Another boy lazily walked up beside him, a dark-skinned boy with white hair, and a skinny set of antennae. He yawned as he approached the others. "So...what were we waiting for...I'm here...and I got all these badges...is it done yet?" A towering shadow from behind made his antennae perk up, as Pip walked up from behind, with Lily tugging on the furs of his back. She hadn't opened her eyes, but upon doing so, she saw the two applicants who had beaten them thoroughly, and taken Loki's badges. She made a strange sound, ducking behind Pip for cover once more. Pip moved along through the crowd to meet up with Lesnar, only to stare down at the boy in his ragged condition. "I'm gonna get you back for that cheap stunt you pulled back there, you know? I don't know how, and I don't know when, but I'm sure I'll think of a way." He then looked towards Valerie. "And you...Loki said to tell you the same." More and more unfamiliar faces seemed to be showing up along with all the others, and the crowds voice was starting to get heavy. "A fine batch we have this year..." The Samurai said under his breath.
  2. Even though her home country was water-locked, she was never fond of having to deal with the ocean. However, it wasn't all bad. After all, she managed to score a giant crab leg, as she hauled it behind the rest of the Titans. Hinata also made sure to strain her hair as best she could, before the entered the Titans North Headquarters. Although it wasn't as lavish as the original Titan's Tower, she couldn't help but think it was a little more humble, and a little less obnoxious. How pretentious did someone have to be to order a contract like that in the first place? It didn't matter. What mattered is she was finally...home? She shuddered at the thought of calling this place the H-word. Capricorn, of course, was the first one to say anything. “Storm Sire- Milly, please talk to Ocean Master some time about not siccing his attack crabs on us next time we have to go anywhere near the ocean. If you can. I’m sick of having Atlantis’ high prince of villainy complicating what was otherwise a straightforward mission. We’re not even in the Atlantic, for gods’ sake! And c’mon guys… We’ve been together for what, six months now? But we’re still making these strategic fouls! What will Evergreen say…? Ugh.” "I am deeply sorry. His dislike of walkers is pretty indiscriminate and he tends to not care about who he hits for his goals. I do think, indeed, we must do something about our lack of team strategy." Hinata mocked both of her teammates speech with some opening and closing of her hand. Once she felt satisfied, she threw her ponytail over her shoulder, and placed a hand on the hilt of her weapon. With the other hand, she removed her mask, letting her horns breath for a minute. "Speak for yourselves, humans. My technique is impeccable. You just insist on getting in my way." She stated bluntly. "Don't go blaming your lack of coordination on me." She said, as she started dragging the giant crab leg towards the kitchen. "You're the leader, right? If you feel that much shame, why don't you just commit seppuku? I could help if you desire?"
  3. We are now an OOC! Robattle School was the final choice, so let's get our game on! I expect wonderful apps from everyone who voted!
  4. Team Showdown - Southshore Forest When she finally started to come to, Taiga could feel some wonderful juices fill her mouth. She munched softly, chewing what she presumed to be some sort of plump berry. Taiga opened her eyes soon after to see Isole was the one putting the food into her mouth. She was still weak, so all she could do was chew, but she managed to avert her eyes from the Rotom's. "Thanks...I guess..." Taiga said, almost to weak for a whisper. Taking another look around the place, she could only laugh a little bit. "What a dump this place is..." She managed to get out. However, upon realizing that they were sitting across from Zygarde, she started to sweat. "I guess we didn't die then..." She was relieved at that fact at least. Now was the time for negotiations to get Zygarde on their side. Maybe Rayquaza wouldn't look down on them once this was done. "I ask you to please come with us and help us stop these lunatics." Scarlet extended her Pincer towards the Legend, "Please..." "What are you sounding all desperate for...this lug owes us big time..." Taiga wheezed. "I don't think they're in the kind of spot...to deny...fufufufu..."
  5. I'll close the poll tomorrow and turn this sucker into a full fledged OOC soon after!

  7. After he had gotten knocked out, it wasn't long before the whole battle royal was completely over with. That made him feel better at least. However, the winner of the whole thing was that guy with the shifty looking eyes. By the congratulations he received from his teammate, it seemed that this Ivan wasn't such a lowlife creep. Oswald would've suggested he do something about those shifty eyes...but what was it that Ivan could do about them. Oswald walked up to him and shrugged. "A shame you were born with those things." Oswald then handed Ivan 100 Poke. "You won, so here's from me to you. Enjoy." As Oswald turned around, he looked back towards Ivan with a glare. "I'll be coming back for it, tenfold! So don't go spending it just yet." Oswald walked towards Kanon, giving her a light bump on the shoulder with his. "Seriously? You knock me out and then get roughed up by that guy? What were you thinking? If you were gonna knock me out, at least wait until the other two people who don't even know you are down and out too!" Oswald pushed up the front of his hair and sighed. "Sheesh..." "Ahoy there lads, lasses, it's time for us to set off. You can stay up here if you want just be sure to be careful and stay away from the sides o'the ferry. It should only take a few hours to arrive so settle in folks." "Well," Oswald continued, "looks like we've got some time on our hands. I can't fish while the boat's moving...wanna go see what sleeping beauty's up to?" He said, gesturing towards where Naomi had wandered off prior to the battle royal.
  8. Team Showdown - Southshore Forest Taiga watched as the Crobat sped right past her, her teeth barely grazing the Gijinka as she collided with Scarlet. However, closing the distance between them probably wasn't the smartest of moves, as a multitude of attacks all converged on the worn out God Slayer. With a roar of pain coming from her, Taiga could only grin. Served 'em right for being so obnoxious. Taiga got back to her feet, seeing that the attacks hadn't finished her off. She put up her fists for one more scrap, but the Crobat left with a long-winded farewell, and a gust of wind. The wind was strong enough to push the already weak Sharpedo off of her feet and onto the ground. "Gak!" She grunted, as she took a slide into the grass and dirt. Her breathing was getting wheezy, and heavy, as she looked for the rest of her team. She saw the big shadow of Zygarde as well, giving them a peace sign. "Please...don't kill us...fu...fu...fuuuu..." Taiga laughed weakly, before closing her eyes. The poison had gotten the best of her.
  9. The man looked to the forest and city respectively. There had been a lot less explosions than he thought there would be, but he supposed that was a good thing. Less work for the cleanup crew. It was almost sundown by this point, and no one had yet to come back to the gate. Were they all fighting among themselves for a badge? There were plenty to find without resorting to such tactics. However, as he looked towards the city again, he could see the faint outline of a girl. The outline made itself clear in a matter of seconds, as they rushed up to him. "Heya Teach! I guess you'd be Teach, at least, right? Is this a welcome part or a final test sorta deal? Cause either way I'm ready for it!" "Teach?!" He said, a bit shocked. "I guess that would be the word for it, huh? I've never had a student before." The man looked to the ground, entranced in thought at the prospect of being a master to some oblivious fool trying to be a hero. "Ah." He said, with his eyes still closed. He looked back to Valerie with a nod. "Very perceptive as well. Yes this will be a test of sorts...it's nothing major, but I'll be judging your character as a hero in training. But I'll wait for everyone else to arrive before the time limit before asking, okay?" “Tenkara-san has been poisoned by another student! Please help him! I’m not sure if the poison will cause him harm!” One of the students had slipped past him in his daze, as they rushed another to the proctors directly in front of the closed gate. “He should have all the badges he needs! If he needs another, he can have mine!” The man walked towards the two, placing two fingers over Tenkara's jugular vein. "This boy is under the effect of a very effective nerve sedative. He'll be fine, he just needs the effects to wear off." He took Tenkara off of his hands, and placed him gently onto the ground. "He should wake up soon. His pulse is strong, so he must not have been too thoroughly poisoned. As for you, you were very good to have brought him back here." "At least I wasn't the first one...that would have been pretty embarrassing." Misu said, walking up towards the group with all five medals in her arms. "Barely anyone went to the forest, so I had a pretty easy time finding these freaking things." Misu groaned, as she dropped them to the ground with a collectively loud thud. "Now what was this I heard about a last test thing..." Misu's eyes narrowed towards the Samurai. "We gonna have to fight ya?" She asked, tipping her hat towards him. The Samurai laughed and shook his head. "No no. This isn't going to be a test like that..." He put a finger over his lips, as he spoke with one eye open. "My Quirk would be too much for you all, even if you were to attack me all at once." Misu grinned with amusement. "Oh? Well I love to fight strong people...so that's a shame." Misu looked towards the girl who had seemingly gotten here first. "You like to fight?" She asked. Eyeing her thoroughly, she continued. "You got the body for it." "If you have any questions for me until the end, go ahead and ask me." The Samurai said, before taking out a western comic and flipping through the pages.
  10. BASICS Applicant: Mr. Hyde Name: Hinata Date Alias: Cherry Blade Age: 51 Gender: Female Species: Half-Oni (Ogre) APPEARANCE Height/Weight: 5'2"/120 lbs Build/Complexion: Petite/Pale Pink Hair: Pink, with bangs and a ponytail Eyes: Amber Clothing: Uniform: A traditional white kimono with a purple sash tied around her waist. Platform Geta are worn on her feet, while she wears knee high leggings.Chain mail is worn underneath her clothing. She wears a white mask that covers her eyes, with small slits to see through, while also encasing her horns as if to make them look like a decoration. A flower decal is painted across the entire mask. Casual: A simple white kimono whose sleeves far extend over her hands, even when stretched out. She wears a a purple skirt above her waist, and has very loose fitting socks to cover her feet. She wears a black headband over her head to make her horns look like an accessory while in public. ABILITIES Powers: (Heritage) - Being half-Oni, she has two times the physical strength to that of a normal human on top of her almost animalistic instincts and reflexes. Using the two large horns that protrude from her forehead, she is also able to gather and focus her body's Mana to use for her own use. If her horns take damage, it affects her ability to channel Mana efficiently. Mana is finite, and must take time to replenish if used. The process to replenish Mana usually takes days. (Sword Diviner) - Hinata's Heritage has defined the way she is able to use and manipulate Mana. Hinata's sword can be, with the direct contact of her own Mana, bent to her will. This means that she is able to increase the length, width, sharpness, or durability of her sword by infusing her Mana through the weapon. With enough Mana put into the blade of her weapon, she is able to shoot blades of pure Mana from the steel as a projectile, just as sharp as the sword itself. It is pink in color, and the size of the projectile depends on the current length of the blade part of her sword. (Demon's Rage) - Pushed beyond her limits of anger, Hinata can tap into her most primal being, almost becoming a full fledged Oni. Her Mana pool explodes, as her horns seem to visibly drip with a pink Miasma. Her strength, speed, and senses are nearly increased tenfold. However, she loses her sense of being and relies only on her most basic instincts. She tends to lose all sense of self-preservation in this state, and usually gets her into more trouble than anything. Equipment: (Hanabira) - An Incredibly fine katana, made by Hinata's own hard work. While making the sword, she infused it with her own Mana, literally making it an extension of herself. The steel of the blade shines with a bright pink hue, as the hilt reflects her dress with a pristine white fabric tied it. The sheath is also a shining white, splotched with red ink in the shape of a flower. PERSONALITY Hinata is cold, crude, and extremely hard-headed. Being an adolescent Oni, she is often childlike in her mannerisms. She usually talks in a monotone voice, with no grace in her vocabulary whatsoever. Making friends in the wilds of Japan was a pretty rough task, so Hinata's people skills are extremely lacking. However, hearing her father talk about how friends are the greatest people you'll ever have in your life entices her to attempt to make them, even if her personality is extremely off-putting. She often makes fun of, and belittles people, unintentionally, as if it comes to her naturally. Her demeanor in battle changes very little, often focusing insults and attention towards a foe. 11. Icarus onslaught on the bunny Pokemon was going quite well. Still, his attention kept drifting towards the chaos brewing over knight joining the battle. Luckily, Kanon had enough goodwill to scoop the Pokemon up in her arms, and out of harms way. Oswald let out a sigh of relief, no sense in the little guy getting hurt in a situation like this after all. "fine, ember!" "Wait what?!" Oswald's mind came back to the battle at hand, as Icarus was hit by yet another burst of small flames. He squawked in pain, as he started to lose air. "Icarus, hang in ther-" "And now, tackle Icarus!" "Wait h-hold on a sec!" The Rockruff was able to get enough air on Icarus to land a heavy tackle, prompting the Starly to fall to the ground. The bird Pokemon didn't even let out as much of a peep, as he lay on the deck of the ship with his wings spread out. "Icarus!" Oswald cried out, before rushing towards him. He cradled the small bird in his arms, and brought him back outside of the chaos. Soon enough, the Starly looked up to Oswald with a rather poor expression, like it had disappointed his trainer. "You did great, Ic. Don't take it too hard. Try to rest up." Oswald returned Icarus to his Pokeball. He looked to the others as he shrugged. "Well darn...looks like I'm the first one out..." He walked up to Kanon, holding out both hands. "No sense in you holding Knight. I'll take him off your hands so you can focus on the battle." Oswald couldn't help but hear the thoughts at the back of his mind. "Way to play dirty..." "I thought we were friends..." "You hurt Icarus..." He ignored them, just smiling at her, rubbing the back of his head. "It is a Free for All, after all."
  12. Team Showdown - Southshore Forest Her attack had missed it's mark, but had grazed the girl's leg. Her incredible speed had let the Crobat slip almost out of harm's way entirely. Taiga couldn't help but bite her lip in frustration. These god slayers sure were something else. There had to be a way for them to land a decisive blow...but with the girl's speed it didn't seem possible. That's when she heard a booming voice from the sky. "I will end this!" Diving straight down towards her, Taiga's forehead became a little moist. "W-w-what?! Coming to end me, huh?! B-b-bring it!" Taiga readied her stance, as her legs almost buckled. The sheer pressure of the sight was almost enough for her to lose composure. "You got some nerve! Fufufu-" Her laugh was interrupted by a violent coughing fit. As soon as she had lifted her head to meet the Crobat's, she noticed the gijinka taking an explosive turn to instead go after Scarlet. Looking to her friend for a split second, she only had a moment to react. As the Crobat's body darted past her, Taiga's instincts boiled over, as she reached towards the bat with her own jaws, attempting to clamp down on an ankle, or foot, or something! But if one thing could help her now, it was that she was faster.
  13. "Seriously?" Misu complained, as she knelt down to pick up the unconscious, but also incredibly soaked, cobra-headed boy's medal. "Only one? You ambush type are pretty pathetic." Misu stood upright, as she looked at her fourth medal. The weight of all four she was now carrying was starting to get a bit awkward, and she didn't really have a comfy spot to place them. They'd just have to make her pockets sag for now. Now she was on a mission to get her last badge. As annoying as it was for Misu to not hunt down that girl from before, she still ached to do it. However, this contest wasn't meant to test their strengths as individuals...but those who were speedy enough to get hero work done. This test needed some major tweaks...but what did she even care? She was still going to get a fifth badge, and she was still gonna get into this stupid school! "Oh do you?" The girl responded. "Let me tell you something. There's no cold I can't handle. All I need...is to push harder!" "Don't think I won't do the same!" Loki retorted. His icy projectiles seemed to grow larger, but were no match for the extreme heat that this chick was able to dish out. The girl was closing the gap, as Loki's face turned to that of panic. A large ice wall erected itself between the two once more, but the girl had anticipated this. She launched a stream of flames that ate straight through the boys wall, rearing a punch towards his face. the side of Loki's face started to freeze over, but the punch landed square in his cheek. The sound of ice crunching could be heard, as the fist dug deep into the boy's mouth. The light in the boy's eyes evaporated almost instantly, as he fell towards the ground with a loud thud. Meanwhile, as Pip soared through the air, he noticed that this was the exact moment the boy had been waiting for. Even with his incredible speed, it was no match for an opponent who was going to seize on the opportunity. Lesnar's punch, aimed right between Pip's legs, found it's mark, just as Valerie's did. Pip let out a high pitched squeal, as he was hoisted into the air a couple of inches. He wanted to stop his momentum, but physics would not allow for that to happen. He kept going for a while, before skidding to a stop, cupping his bits with his hands. He soon toppled over, as he let out a few coughs, before passing out.
  14. Basically whatever you wanted, within reason. Namekian, Frost Demons, Saiyans, Humans, Majin, Demon, or anything else that you could reasonably make in the Xenoverse. I'm open to suggestions
  15. Basic Premise: "Welcome to the Time Patrol! Sorry for causing you trouble, but we sensed some real potential in you from your timeline! Who are we? We're the Time Patrol, of course! We make sure the errors in all realities get fixed in a jiffy! And to do that, we need capable Time Patrolers! The heavy hitters are usually too busy fixing the big stuff, so we need lots of you guys to help us with the minor fires before they can spread any further. EH?! You don't know how to use your latent abilities?! Well...I guess that's to be expected...we have a training facility for those like you called the Time Patrol Academy! There you can learn how to fight, and get ready for your missions! Well...are you ready?"
  16. "Great hit, Ic!" Oswald said, pumping his arm as he watched the Starly's Quick Attack land effectively. Out of the corner of his eye, he could see that the Pancham was starting up an attack and running towards Icarus. "Now, take to the sky! Avoid that Pancham!" Icarus flapped his wings to take off into the air to avoid the attack completely. "We've got the aerial advantage here. Sorry but your little Pancham is grounded!" Oswald laughed a bit at his own dumb joke, before noticing Knight had somehow wandered onto the battlefield. Oswald looked over his shoulder, but saw neither hair nor hide of Naomi. Knight sure was the enthusiastic little rascal...totally the opposite of his trainer. Kanon seemed to want to help Knight off the field, as he could only shrug. The only thing that Knight seemed to do was get in the way. Now wasn't the time to let up! Now that Lunar was taking Pancham off of his hands, It was the perfect time to single out a target! "Icarus! Hit the other pokemon with another Quick Attack! Make it a big one!" With the command, Starly let out a mighty chirp and dove at an angle towards the strange Fire Bunny pokemon.
  17. Team Showdown - Southshore Forest "Humph, ganging up on me. I should've expected such behavior from legend-lovers," she sneered. "I just never expected that you, who have seen the devastation that legends wreak, would be among them. I won't hold back then." The wind around the Gijinka began to swell up once more. These god slayers sure were a pain in the ass...how did they get so strong unnoticed? It didn't matter, the power gap between them was incomprehensible. However, they had numbers on their side....and a raging legendary earth dragon. It probably balanced out. Taiga gripped her side, as she let out a wheeze. "Fufufu...you sure love to keep blabbing on and on, huh? Just shut up and kick the bucket, would ya?!" Taiga darted off towards the Bat with blistering speed. Sticking her hand out, a torrent of water soon followed behind. She wound up the pitch, combined with her incredible speed, and launched the spear of water towards the Crobat's torso.
  18. Team Showdown - Southshore Forest "Why are you all talking so much? We just have to fight, right?" "Tell that to her!" Taiga said, pointing at the Crobat whilst also rattling her fist at Isole. "She won't shut her yap! So I gotta yell louder to make her!" Taiga placed a hand on her knee, hoisting herself up to a standing position. Her body ached from all the attacks she had taken so far, and was glad to have a moment to breath. She did just that, in that moment, but when she breathed out, she could feel that same burning sensation inside her body. "This ain't no more than what a Qwilfish can do just by pokin' ya! No biggie." She consoled to herself. She was already low on stamina, so she had to put on the act. The truth was that her time had already started ticking away. "Why don't we end it, eh?! The ol' Showdown Smackdown plus Legend!" Taiga got into her runners stance, and bolted off with the timer clawing at the back of her mind. She needed to get serious..these next attacks might be her last. As soon as she picked up speed, she started gliding across the forest floors on water that she created beneath her feet. Icy Fangs began to appear before her, as the attack went to chomp at the girls' wings, hoping to rip them from the seams. The burning stabbed at her chest, but there was another feeling now. She was faster.
  19. "then go Rus, and show that Starly some ember!" "Wait! Hold on! There wasn't a signa-!" It was too late, and the battle had already started. Without anything said to him, Icaurs was immediately buffeted by the small flames that shot at him, prompting the small bird to flap his feathers in an attempt to lessen the heat. "Cheap move..." Oswald groaned. But this was exactly the practice he was looking for! No holds barred! Looking at Kanon's choice, her Rockruff, Luna, Oswald couldn't help but glare at her. "Cheap move..." He groaned again, before executing his first attack. "Icarus! Synchronize up with Lunar, and hit that...that...that Pokemon that hit you with an ember with a Quick attack!" With a healthy chirp, the small bird took to the air, only for it to charge off with some speedy maneuvers to attack the flaming bunny.
  20. In the time that had passed since the fight, Misu had surely made up for it. She had run into a large forest fire scenario, which contained flames shooting out from the ground as if they were from a fake chimney. She merely had to find a way to make the fire die out, and was rewarded with a badge soon after. She hadn't come up against much resistance besides the one chick, for the most part. Everyone must have gone to the city area. That meant badges would be hers for the taking if she ran into anything else that was crazy. Not noticing where she was walking, something gently clamped around her ankle. Misu looked down to see a mock bear trap, made out of some kind of rubber, gripping her leg. She laughed, as she disarmed the trap with her bare hands. On the top of the trap's pressure mechanism was another badge. She tried to remove it, but it was the same deal as all the other medals...she wouldn't be able to get rid of the dead weight. Misu shrugged, as she threw the trap over her shoulder. She held onto the chain, as the rest fell behind her back. "Two more? Shouldn't be too rough..." She said to herself. "Ah! He's too quick!" The girl said, trying desperately to grab him, but running short out of courage. She looked away, as the boy's arm slammed into her, throwing her off of the ground and on a collision course with Pip. She let out a painful grunt as the attack landed, and she rammed into Pip's furry body. "Lily!" Pip said, as his kick stopped midway to it's target. Instead, he opted to capture the girl in his arms. Pip soared over Valerie, as he skidded on the concrete with Lily in his arms. The girl's extended arms quickly collapsed in on themselves, returning to their normal state. "Are you okay?" Pip asked. "This was a bad idea, huh?" "You're too soft. Let us handle it." Pip reached into his pockets, and gave Lily his badges. "Keep 'em safe...and if we lose, you just keep goin'!" Lily nodded as she ran off with both her and Pip's badges into a dark alleyway. Pip stood back up, and turned to Lesnar. "Now...back to business!" Pip shrieked, before launching off with a strong first step. He bolted towards Lesnar, twisting his hips to hit the boy with a swift roundhouse to the head. "I have you now!" Loki said, as his opponent lay prone on the ground. Both of his fist flared with frost, as the ground beneath them continued it's trail of Ice until it would reach Valerie. With his hands struck out, he shot icy winds from them in a four way attack. “Look, I don’t think we should fight, but I would rather not give up my badges. So instead, I propose a different means of settling this with a game. I have here in my hand my first badge, and I want you to figure out which hand it is in. Simple right? If you win, you keep the badge, but if you lose, we leave and you put me back together again because I know you were the one making me woozy with your. . . goophands? Or whatever they are. Alright, which hand is my badge in? Remember, it is a 50/50 chance whether you succeed or fail, choose wisely.” The boy looked at Taro with a blank stare, before letting out a low toned laugh. "You gotta be joking, right?" He wiped a tear from his eye. "I'm supposed to trust you with some sorta game? You have a quirk right? You can probably make somethin' invisible if you're so confident in puttin' your own badge up!" The boy continued to laugh, gripping his stomach. "You must take me for some kind of idiot!" He stopped laughing abruptly, before smiling his wicked smile again. "Game denied, bucko. You're going to lose consciousness soon...so I can wait until then. But your friend is in for a rough time." The boys hands jutted out, as he went for a swift jab with his oozing hands. "I was able to get a pretty good pressure point on you, card guy! But you weren't payin' attention! Now I gotta try!"
  21. Team Showdown - Southshore Forest Taiga let out a smirk, as all the attacks converged onto the Crobat. Her spasms looked painful, but that was the mark they were going for. What was even better is that Scarlet managed to actually get out of the way. Surely she might've been a goner if all three attacks had landed, but it was a miracle she got away without a scratch. Although, even with the multitude of attacks, the Legend Killer almost seemed barely phased. She made a mad dash towards Taiga. It was almost like slow motion, and she couldn't even react. She wasn't even half as fast as she needed to be to avoid this attack. The giant purple cross hit her from behind, sending her flying along with the attack until it promptly exploded further away from the group. It hurt, a lot, almost as much as one of Groundon's punches. But she could feel something under the skin start to seer. It was a feeling she hadn't felt in quite some time...she'd been poisoned. "Fufufu...lucky hit..." Taiga tried to laugh it off, but the pain already started to settle in. "Blind? No, I am not blind. I just opened my eyes. It is you, who walk underneath the shadow of the legendaries, who have been blinded." "What'd you say?" Taiga said, almost wheezing. "I don't walk under anyone's shadow, ya hear me?! My choices are my own. No one tells Taiga the Terrible what to do." A wide grin traced her lips, from cheek to cheek. "But you're takin' orders from someone, huh? Gotta boss? I'm sure if you kill all of us, you'll just be underneath their shadow, eh?" Taiga fell down on her tail, the consequences of that last attack still coursing through her body. "Aren't you just a bloody hypocrite!"
  22. "Oh, hey there! Nice to meet you Kanon, I'm Jacklyn. Oh, and she's Cherry. Oh wait, are you guys also adventurers? That makes this even better! Right Ivan? Then it's even more a pleasure to meet you guys!" Their eyes had met...him and Ivan...but the boy's eyes quickly diverted to Kanon. Suspicious indeed. "I guess...We now have enough people to do a Battle Royal. This boat ride just got a bit more exciting." "Battle Royale?" Kanon leaned closer into him. "What's a Battle Royale?" "You took the words right out of my mouth..." Oswald replied. "If I had to guess," He went on, "It'd probably be a battle between the four or five of us all at once...no teams...just chaos." The scenario intrigued him...naturally in the criminal underworld he would have to fight multiple criminals at once. This would be good practice if that were the case. He nodded at the prospect. oooh, that's a great idea Ivan! Training is way more fun with more people after all." As Kanon said battle royale, Jacklyn merely echoed,"Battle Royale! It's a shame Belle isn't up here for this, but you snooze you lose. I should probably give you a rest for now. So you can watch Cherry. Rus," the girl opened her other pokeball, sending a flaming bunny. "well, you guys wanna? Eh, eh?" Oswald looked to Kanon and shrugged, with a slight smile. "Hope you can keep up. I'm a seasoned trainer now!" He said with a sly chuckle, while pumping his own arm. He took out on of his Pokeballs, and threw it out, revealing Icarus from inside. The Starly was released with a vigorous flap of his wings, letting out a big chirp as he did so. "Nobody's more suited for this than Icarus! Let's show these adventurers what we're made of!"
  23. The clothesline landed, as Misu shot the girl off the ground and into the air. She pumped her arm with a sly grin, watching the girl fly through the air. However, impossibly, the girl was able to twist her body through the sheer momentum to turn the assault into a launchpad of sorts. Using a tree to find her footing, the girl sent off like a bolt towards Misu. Misu readied her stance. She would snatch the girl out of the air, and smash her into the earth. But it was already too late. The bitch was fast. She must've had the same type of augmenting quirk as herself, able to enhance her muscles. But the girl was way smaller than Misu, way more nimble. Misu's own size wouldn't allow her to be that quick. In an instant, she could feel a literal weight being lifted off her shoulders. The meowing that had been so annoying up til this fight had ceased. Misu turned her shoulder to see the girl flying away with the plush doll in her grasps. It looked as though she was trying to run away. With a deep breath out, Misu stood up normally, watching the girl run off. "I've wasted enough of my time on you." Misu groaned, running in the opposite direction of the girl. There was still plenty of time to grab more medals. Most of the commotion could be heard coming from the city...so there would be a plethora of them in the forest section of the test. With a fading trail of steam behind her, Misu ran deeper into the forest, hopefully to avoid that crazy bitch. "You're messing with the best now!" The girl shouted, spewing flames from her body towards the blue boy. The flames almost singed the girl with extending limbs, as she reeled them back by absorbing them from whence they came. "Ah! It's hot!" She cried out. A large blue wall of ice was created from the ground, in front of the two, thick enough to let the flames eat at it for a bit. "Huh...a bit of a mismatch?" The boy smirked, with a bit of vapor emanating from his mouth. "But it's three against two. We have the advantage here." "B-b-but what am I going to do, Loki?" The girl stammered, reaching out to him. "Well...you probably can't do much against her, so focus up on the boy! BREAK!" With that the girl nodded, and made her way frantically around the Ice wall and towards Lesnar. She shot out her hands, which extended towards Lesnar to try and get a grip on the boys' shoulders. Three more off shoots of arms shot out from part of her forearm, which then turned into more appendage expansions. Six extending hands were now on their way to Lesnar. "Don't forget about me!" Pip cried, as he made another leap towards Valerie, kicking his leg out to land a crushing blow on her. All the while, Loki kept up the wall, but eventually let it shatter into many parts. Frost came from his foot, leaping up to catch all the broken pieces, all the while dodging the flames that came his way. The ice that was now connected to many small pillars of ice rushed themselves towards Valerie at many different angles, looking to smash her in every direction. That's when Tenkara would feel a slight pressure in his right side. "You boys mind if I hold onto one as well? gehe." Turning around, the two would see a boy with a huge smile plastered on his face. His hand made itself into a knife like style, as if hitting pressure points was his specialty in fights. Tenkara would feel his head getting a little woozy after the previously mentioned pressure. "It should only be fair that we take turns, right?" The boy shrugged, still displaying a huge, goofy grin.
  24. "Mighty protective of that badge for someone who doesn't even want it," The girl snapped. It was true that she didn't want to become a hero, but she had to get through this schooling program. She had to get in...meaning that she had to beat this bitch down. The anticipation to do so was killing her. "The fuck are you doing here if it's not to be a hero... You're wasting my goddamn time, is what you're doing. Guess I was wrong." "Think what you want, pipsqueak." Misu groaned while rolling her shoulders. "I don't really care." "Can't believe I thought you were-" Misu had been in enough school yard brawls to know where this was going. She couldn't have telegraphed her demeanor anymore, but she somehow did. "WORTH ANYTHING!" As to be expected, there was now a fist heading straight for her side. "Your funeral, kid." The punch looked dangerous, as it displaced Misu's steam with the sheer wind pressure. Misu's muscles pumped themselves full of steam power, as the punch landed firmly in her side. It hurt a bit, seeing as how there weren't many muscles on the side of her abdomen, but there wasn't much she could do about it now. She had to stay focused on the kick that was headed straight for her head. Her muscles may be able to take a swift blow, but her head was the most exposed part of her body. Her quirk couldn't do much to save her up there. However, to reach the girl, the brat would have to hike that leg high into the air. It was the perfect chance. Misu ducked, narrowly avoiding the swift kick, and retaliated with a sweep, amplifying the muscles in her calves to make sure it hurt. Misu loved to fight, and she had been in too many to count, so keeping her cool was her best trait when it came to a fight. However, this brat seemed to totally lose it when fighting. When her sweep finished, Misu returned her leg to her center, using it to explode up. With a steam powered arm, she launched an uppercut near any body part within reach. At the slightest sign of impact, a large explosion of steam would erupt from her fist. When Misu breathed out, some more steam escaped from her mouth. This fight was already starting to make her feel thirsty. "You know," She started, "You don't seem much like the hero type yourself." A smirk started to trace her face, as she looked at the girl. "I mean...you're in such a hurry to lose that medal of yours." With the goading now done, Misu took a step, digging the ball of her foot into the ground, and dashing off with explosion of steam behind her. She threw her arm out in an attempt to clothesline the girl, not putting as much steam power into her arms. She didn't want to decapitate this idiot. As Valerie and Lesnar found their stride right next to each other, a crystal of ice appeared between the two as if from thin air. From the top of a building, three shadows could be seen, as a slide of ice was made towards the ground. However, one of the shadows opted to jump from the roof, and to the wall of an opposite building, almost using it as another spring board. When he came clearer into view, the monster of a teen stuck out his legs in an arrow like shot at Lesnar. With their attention removed, the other two slid down the ice ramp. "You were right, Pip!" A boy with blue skin commended bounding demon, "With this kind of attack, we're a shoe in for all those medals!" "Although..." the girl next to him spoke up, "I do still kinda feel bad about this...isn't it something a villain would do?" She questioned, hesitantly, as arms began to spring out from the palm of her hand, continuously doing so as they reached towards Valerie. "I ain't a villain! I'm just doing what needs to be done...so I don't end up like one!" The one regarded as Pip rang out. "And what better way to snatch the spots of some uppity Americans!" "Is someone there? ...do you need help?" At the question, the thing perked up. It was as if he had awoken a slumbering creature in it's den. A slight ringing could be heard in Yuudai's head. That's when it could hear a small voice let out. "Ah...your mind...not as heavy...not as...very light...very warm..." The room had functioning technology, which glow with bright greens, blues, and reds. The creature emerged from the shadows, shyly. It's lanky body, and lack of facial features, might have shocked anyone who found the thing. "The word...hero...rattles around in your brain so...so much so...what is a...hero?" The thing asked, almost reaching out to Yuudai.
  25. Team Showdown - Southshore Forest Taiga's words had finally reached Groudon, as that weird power that drug her down had finally lifted. She could feel her latent speed start to well up inside her once more. After a bit of exercise, she would surely be a match for the Crobat on her own! However, before she could start, she had to do some fighting away from the fight. She turned to face Zygarde. "Now, hit her hard! I'll help!" Taiga roared, as the muscles in her arms started to pump up. From the earth, she ripped up a torrent of water, larger than she had created before. With a massive battle cry, Taiga whipped it around and out of the ground, like she had tamed some sort of bull worm. With a bit of spinning, to up the momentum of the pillar of water, she whirled up her attack. After a moment, she stopped spinning, and let the attack loose, sending it flying towards the Crobat, who was in close proximity to Scarlet. "Whoops..." She chuckled. "You better dodge it, chrome dome!" She could feel it now. She was faster.
