Stormy Night Ritual Ritual Spell If this Set card leaves the field because of an opponent's card effect, you can Ritual Summon 1 Ritual monster from your hand or Deck by tributing monsters you control or in your hand whose total Levels equal or exceed the Level or the monster you Ritual Summon. Just a card I came up with right now. Too tired to look up wording so it probably could use a few fixes.
  2. Chthoniankaiser Dragon - the Ender of Everything FIRE / Level 8 / Dragon / Gemini This card is treated as a Normal Monster while in your Possession. While this card is face-up on the field, You can either Normal or Tribute Summon it to have it treated as Effect Monster with this effect ● Gemini Monsters OR Monsters that use Gemini Monster as its Tribute(s) or Material(s) to summon whose Level/Rank/Link Rating is 5 or higher cannot be targeted or be destroyed by card effect. Whenever a card is sent to GY by battle or effect of Gemini Monster: Inflict 300 Damage to your opponent. Half the amount of LP to activate this card effect for each number of times this card is Tribute Summoned from your hand and/or on the field (Even either as Normal or Effect Monster). While this Tribute Summoned card is face-up on your Draw Phase, Main Phase 1, or Battle Phase: You can pay 4000 LP; You can Conduct 2nd of such Phase after the end of the current Phase. also you cannot Summon, Attack, or activate the Effect(s) of Monsters for the rest of this turn, except Gemini Monsters. you can only use this effect of "Chthoniankaiser Dragon - the Ender of Everything" once per turn ATK 2900 / DEF 2000
  3. Super Quant support filling other colors surely has been done by at least a couple of card makers by now, but here is my take on it, anyway. Thoughts, suggestions, ideas, etc. are welcomed. Super Quantum Yellow Layer EARTH/Warrior/Effect/Level 2 800/1000 When this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can Set 1 "Super Quant" Spell/Trap directly from your Deck. If this card is sent to the GY: You can send 1 "Super Quant" Spell/Trap from your Deck or that is banished to the GY. You can only use each effect of "Super Quantum Yellow Layer" once per turn. Squire stats and Reinforce Truth support, let's go! Super Quantum Black Layer DARK/Cyberse/Effect/Level 6 2400/1000 If you control no monsters, or all monsters you control are "Super Quant" monsters, you can Normal Summon this card without Tributing. When this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can Special Summon 1 "Super Quant" monster from your Deck in Defense Position, except "Super Quantum Black Layer", but it cannot activate its effects. If this card is sent to the GY: You can target 1 "Super Quant" Spell/Trap in your GY; add it to your hand. You can only use each effect of "Super Quantum Black Layer" once per turn. Monarch stats for extra support. Super Quantal Mech Beast Landwolf EARTH/Machine/Xyz/Effect/Rank 2 1000/2500 2 Level 2 monsters Cannot attack unless it has Xyz Material. Once per turn: You can detach 1 material from this card, then target 1 Spell/Trap in either player's GY; banish it, and if you do, until the end of this turn, its effects are negated, as well as the activated effects and effects on the field of cards with the same original name. This is a Quick Effect if this card has "Super Quantum Yellow Layer" as material. Once per turn: You can attach 1 "Super Quantum" monster from your hand or field to this card as material. Kind of a "Called by the Grave" for Spell/Traps to complement Grampulse's Spell/Trap control, but unlike the Quick-Play Spell this cannot target monsters and thus it is not as practical for on-spot negation unless a copy of the activated Spell/Trap is already in either player's GY. It can still be used as a D.D.Crow for Spell/Traps, though. Super Quantal Mech Beast Megalligator DARK/Machine/Xyz/Effect/Rank 6 2400/2800 2 Level 6 monsters Cannot attack unless it has Xyz Material. Once per turn: You can detach 1 material from this card, then target 1 monster in either player's GY or that is banished; shuffle it into the Deck, and if you do, its effects are negated, as well as the activated effects and effects on the field of cards with the same original name. This is a Quick Effect if this card has "Super Quantum Black Layer" as material. Once per turn: You can attach 1 "Super Quantum" monster from your hand or field to this card as material. This one instead is more akin to "Called by the Grave", and intended to complement Lusterrex. Super Quantal Mechamaterialization Quick-Play Spell Activate 1 of these effects: • Target 1 "Super Quantum" monster in your GY: Special Summon from your Extra Deck, 1 "Super Quantal Mech Beast" Xyz Monster with the same Attribute as that monster, and if you do, attach the targeted monster and this card to it as Xyz Material (This is treated as an Xyz Summon.) • Target 1 "Super Quantal Fairy Alphan" in your GY; Special Summon 1 "Super Quantal Mech Beast" Xyz Monster from your Extra Deck, and if you do, attach the targeted monster and this card to it as Xyz Material (This is treated as an Xyz Summon.) You can only activate 1 "Super Quantal Mechamaterialization" per turn. The card that practically motivated me to work in a set. I first planned to drop this as a single but then felt like filling the "holes" left by the Super Quants, such as Lusterrex dealing with effects of monsters on board but not being able to negate monster effects anywhere else. Also wanted to give them more monsters to cycle and play the above Spell a bit more.

You cannot Pendulum Summon Level 6 or lower Effect Monster, except "Gate Guardian" Monster. Once per turn, During your Main Phase: You can pay 500 LP; add 1 of either "Gate Guardian" card OR card listed on the text of face-up "Gate Guardian" cards you control from you Deck or GY to your hand, except "Lesser Gate Guardian - Suiki". [ Monster Effect ] This card can be treated as 2 Tribute to Tribute Summon "Suijin". When your opponent activate a Spell/Trap card or effect while either this card is face-up on the field OR this card in your GY and it was sent there as Tribute to Tribute Summon "Suijin": You can Shuffle 1 face-up "Gate Guardian" card or "Suijin" from your GY, Extra Deck, or your side of the field to your Deck; Negate that activation, and then destroy 1 Spell/Trap card your opponent control. You can only use this effect of "Lesser Gate Guardian - Suiki" once per turn. ATK 1500 / DEF 1400 Lesser Gate Guardian - Kazeki WIND / Level 4 / Spellcaster / Pendulum [ Scale: 8 ] / Effect [ Pendulum Effect ] This card effects cannot be negated. You cannot Pendulum Summon Level 6 or lower Effect Monster, except "Gate Guardian" Monster. Kazejin, Suijin, Sanga of the Thunder, and "Gate Guardian" card you control cannot be targeted by card effect [ Monster Effect ] This card can be treated as 2 Tribute to Tribute Summon "Kazejin". If either this card OR "Kazejin" that use this card as a Tribute is Normal or Tribute Summoned : Draw cards equal the number of Tribute Summoned Level 7 or higher Monster you control +1. ATK 1400 / DEF 1200 Lesser Gate Guardian - Raiki LIGHT / Level 4 / Thunder / Pendulum [ Scale: 3 ] / Effect [ Pendulum Effect ] This card effects cannot be negated. You cannot Pendulum Summon Level 6 or lower Effect Monster, except "Gate Guardian" Monster. Kazejin, Suijin, Sanga of the Thunder, and "Gate Guardian" card you control cannot be destroyed by opponent card effect. Once per turn, You can Change this card scale to 8 [ Monster Effect ] This card can be treated as 2 Tribute to Tribute Summon "Sanga of the Thunder". Whenever Kazejin, Suijin, Sanga of the Thunder, or Level 5 or higher "Gate Guardian" Monster is Summoned while either this card is face-up on the field OR this card in your GY and it was sent there as Tribute to Tribute Summon "Sanga of the Thunder": Destroy 1 Monster your opponent control

  18. Kind of surprised at myself for not thinking of this earlier, it makes a lot of sense, don't it? I know I'm not the first to come with this idea, but I figured I would give my twist on it. Since it's late, I'm just doing a written thing, cause I can't be bothered to find a picture right now. Link-Up-Magic Connection Force - Normal Spell Target 1 Link Monster in your Extra Monster Zone; send it to the GY, and if you do, Special Summon 1 Link Monster from your Extra Deck whose Type is the same as that target, but 1 Link Rating higher (this Special Summon is treated as a Link Summon). A Link Monster Summoned with this effect is banished during the End Phase, unless its Attribute is the same as that target, also you cannot Special Summon monsters, except with card effects, for the rest of this turn.
  19. Fusion Draw Spell Card Discard 1 "Polymerization" Spell Card or "Fusion" Spell Card from your hand; draw 2 cards. During your Main Phase: You can banish this card from your GY; target 1 Fusion monster in your GY, return it to the Extra Deck, then draw 1 card. You can only activate 1 "Fusion Draw" effect per turn and only once that turn.

  21. Hello, fine peoples! So, I had an archetype design in mind, but I'm having a lot of trouble figuring out how to word it to achieve my aim. The idea/prompt is simple: Make an archetype entirely devoid of activation effects. ...Or, if I want to be more specific: Make an archetype that never starts a chain (outside Spell/Trap card activations). Here's the card: Statutist Commander WIND **** Thunder/Effect If you control a "Statutist" Spell, you can Special Summon this card from your hand. After a "Statutist" monster is Summoned or a "Statutist" Spell is activated, add 1 "Statutist" card from your Deck to your hand immediately after the Summon/activation resolves. (You can only gain this effect once per turn.) If a "Statutist" card(s) you control would be destroyed, you can banish this card from your GY instead. 1800/1000 It's the search effect I'm unsure about. I tried to use Spell/Soul Absorption as a reference point (since they don't start a chain), but they aren't bound by OPTs either, so... Anyways, any help with this would be greatly appreciated!
