The site does cost money each month to upkeep. I don't sell any data, nor do I run any ads - any support you can give to help with the upkeep of things would be greatly appreciated.

There is no max goal for this donation, nor and end point. The rough costs for the site are around 40/50 GBP each month give or take 10 either side depending on the month, there are periods at the start of the year where this does increase significantly due to renewals for the domain and SSL certificates that this site runs off.

The site will remain active and online for as long as I can maintain it. I'm not struggling financially (at least as much as some!) and can maintain this regardless.

    • Jacklyn's eyes beamed at the prospect of a reward for their findings, happily trading over the artifact for such a thing. Picking out a TM the girl said, "thanks for the reward. And if you ever need us to go on another adventure, you can call us anytime." After she waved goodbye to the woman, the girl then pocketed her the TM before looking back to Anneliese who had once more intruded on her personal space. As the girl gripped her hand, Jacklyn once more took a step back before her eyes looked towards the girl's hands. She wasn't sure why but she was fairly certain her grip was tighter now, though tried not to pay it much mind and instead answered the girl's question directly.  "Of course it'd be a new adventure! Besides, one of the best parts of adventuring is being able to tell other people about all the cool stuff you did. So like the good leader I am I'll let them have that." A look of smug satisfaction rested across her face. "As for where we'll go next, hmmm..." The girl pointed in a random direction into the town proper, "how about that way!" As she began her march the girl looked back and asked, "so Anne, what kind of places have you gone swimming in before?" "Well my home is located near the water. But I usually swam with mother's Milotic in its tank at home." "You swam in a fish tank?" "Oh yes, it was quite the distance but I was even able to swim all the way across." "Huh?" Jacklyn couldn't help but imagine the girl struggling to paddle her way through an undersized container, though her description certainly left more to the imagination. "Huh, sounds fun," was the only conclusion she could reach. Keeping herself distracted from the glaring issue the girl continued to speak,  "did your parents have a lot of pokemon, and uh...tanks for them?" "Oh yes quite a few. Many of them lived in our park though." "Oooh, a whole park! That sounds pretty cool. Not many pokemon were around my home's. It was mostly just Pidoves, Rattatas, and Petlils." She thought for a moment longer. "Oh but you could see the occasional eevee too." "Oh, there were eevee at my home too! Father told me not too play with them too much because they kept evolving." “That’s a shame, all eevee are super cute when they evolve you know!” Though she didn't think they'd evolve from just playing around. Jacklyn couldn't help but wonder for a moment if Anneliese had been playing fetch with rocks with the small pokemon, but kept that thought to herself.  "They are! Oh, but not as cute as Leopold of course!" “And no one’s cuter than Cherry!” She spoke with reactive competitiveness. After a moment longer Jacklyn cleared her throat and asked, “so uh, Anne, how long are you going to…” she gestured to Anneliese’s hand clasped over hers. Anneliese glanced down, then back to Jacklyn, "should I not?" “Uh, well it’s just…” the girl trailed off, trying to figure out what bothered her about it so much before she fell on a solution. “Never mind, I got it.” The girl tightened her grip, as if to establish dominance in the hand hold and exclaimed, “let’s go to adventure!” As the leader it was her job to lead, and so she hastily dragged Anneliese forward to parts unknown.
    • Fen an understanding nod to Constable as Kasayee had translated his intentions to the group. As an adventurer and guild member Fen knew that certain people simply had the urge to fight others on first glance. And that combatants as well could only understand certain things between each other. As such, she gave a thumbs up to Bartleby as he went into combat. Though, her understanding of the fight was a little flipped as it seemed that Melissa had to give it coordinated instructions. Perhaps it was some kind of beast tamer situation? Though it seemed Constable had no need for such a thing, and stranger still he seemed to look to all of them.  Being her pet Melissa naturally took the lead on the fight, after seeming to search something up on her watch. As she commanded Bartleby to yawn, he did and for whatever reason Constable seemed to get sleepier. Though the girl was curious about this strange phenomena, Constable still seemed willing to fight, and so it charged the young slakoth. Fen didn't really know what to do but as Melissa seemed to just say something and that worked, Fen followed suit. "Oh, um, uh, Bartleby don't get hit!" The slaktoh turned to face, an expression that seemed as unamused as it was unmoving before the creature showed an impressive display of athleticism and quite literally leaped out of the way of the attack. "Oh, that was surprising. Good job Bartleby!"  Constable soon slouched onto the ground, its eyes closing as it drifted off to sleep. The girl was, once more, confused how this happened but figured this was all part of the battle. She had no idea what the slakoth was capable of so instead just used logical deduction to figure out its next move. "Um, go and uh, attack..." The girl looked at the creature before she settled on, "with your claws?"  The slakoth yawned and stayed in place for a moment. "Um, are you perhaps tired?" She remembered a story involving a turtle and rabbit that this reminded her of, though in this situation she could not tell which was which. Still, she shouted, "but your opponent is wide open so take the chance."  The slakoth still didn't seem particularly interested yet, once, jumped forward and scratched Constable in the face. Though she was certain that had to have hurt Constable did little more than stir in his sleep.
    • As Lana had made her way back to the rest of the group, she saw that the large shadow creature was presently lurched over with bent knee on the ground. She guessed that the coordinated skull breaks that she and, as it turned out, Ziun had been striking the creature with worked. With the monster on its knee the girl gripped her axe tighter and rushed past the shadows that the illusionist had managed to distract. She winced in pain as the she could feel her chest throb with pain with every beat as she got closer, a concerning problem but one the girl with simply an axe to her name could not solve. The girl didn't really know where best to hit the creature but, as it seemed ready to stand back up, she figured that it being lower to the ground was probably more helpful. With all the might she could muster, Lana swung her axe into the back of the bent knee. The blade sunk into the creature made of shadow and, as one might have expected, the it did not feel nearly like the flesh and bones that she was used to hacking through. The dark substance had an almost clay like consistency to it, shadow oozing from the open wound that she had just caused. The girl, of course, was grossed out by the texture of what she just struck, shouting, "can't any of you just have regular skin and bones!"  Though she didn't know what she was expecting from a large shadow monster.  Regardless, even if the beast didn't react to her strike, she didn't know what else to do to fell the monster but continue hacking at it. With strike her blade drove deeper into the creature's leg, though another upsetting fact was shown to Lana as the giant's skin began to mend itself back together. "Ugh!"  Out from the corner of her eye, the girl could see one of the shadows that Ziun had begun to shamble its way towards her. "Tsk," the girl didn't want to spend much longer being both under the shadow of the monster as well as having to deal with the other creature at the same time, and so with one final swing into its leg, pulled her weapon back and disengaged from the monster, backing  up down the way she came.
