The site does cost money each month to upkeep. I don't sell any data, nor do I run any ads - any support you can give to help with the upkeep of things would be greatly appreciated.

There is no max goal for this donation, nor and end point. The rough costs for the site are around 40/50 GBP each month give or take 10 either side depending on the month, there are periods at the start of the year where this does increase significantly due to renewals for the domain and SSL certificates that this site runs off.

The site will remain active and online for as long as I can maintain it. I'm not struggling financially (at least as much as some!) and can maintain this regardless.

    • For whatever reason, not like Override was paying attention to it greatly, Sibyl wandered off… probably for the best in his opinion. He let out a small sigh of relief as he was alone to himself and his thoughts yet again… if only for a split second. A ping came through his systems and it wasn't a pleasant sounding ping. “P.I.X.E.L.??” “Unfortunate with that… apparently someone just tried to access some data on the pendants.” the A.I. said matter of factly. “That's not something we needed right now…” he bit his lip under the helmet's visage. “Run diagnostics on this. We need to know what this little attack has in store for us.” The coding and information from the suit and his programs started to scroll wildly past his vision on the HUD. After a few moments… it was there to be read for him. It was a brute force kind of hack… whoever tried to powerhouse their way into a connection with his systems. Then that meant whoever it was REALLY wanted Casandra's pendant information. It didn't exactly bode well for the Cape, but yet, he figured he'd take this opportunity. “P.I.X.E.L, see if you can run a trace on that brutish signal that tried to break through.” Override asked, pulling up a small holo-pad to begin to type and maneuver on. A moment later, he saw the pathing of this signal and it was a long one for sure. The pathing of the signal was wild… it was bouncing throughout Scarlet City, rebounding off various towers… like an onion relay. That seemed to be clever, to an extent. It even made its way to G3 HQ before it ended up ricocheting and slingshotting itself back through the city and arriving back at the casino. “Is there any device connected to it?” Override asked his digital assistant. “A negative with that, sir.” the Scottish voice chimed back. “It appears that the signal just… disappears.” “Then it seems we're going to have to bait this force back.” Override tapped away on the holo-pad. “Secure the data first. Move it to a secure folder and prepare a various amount of firewalls to keep it behind.” “Sir… are you sure this is wise? Whoever this ‘hacker’ is, they were brutish in their approach.” “But you have me workin’ on this too. And this time, we're prepared.” He opened a command prompt and proceeded to type and tap away on it. The firewalls were in place, reinforced a few times in fact. The secure folder containing the data was securely placed behind them. “You and me, partner… you ready?” “Not as much as I want to be… but ready as an A.I. can be.” Override nodded, exhaling slowly before reopening the communication channel and proceeding to ping the remains of that signal. There was a touch of lag that he noticed when it attempted to retrace the signal's steps. Even so, so far so g-... Milliseconds… no scratch that, SEVERAL milliseconds into the pinging process, it came back. There was a roaring ferocity in this second coming of this supposed hacker, so much so that it made Override stumble slightly. He was ready and prepared for round two… but this seemed like a completely different thing altogether. Still on, Override kept the communication channel open, trying to keep the connection going. This was a digital fight and Override was already being put through the wringer. His suit and systems were pinging and sending off signals to his HUD… it wasn't looking good. “How's it lookin’ partner??” “Not too well. Whoever this Neanderthal with a keyboard is… they are slamming and busting through the firewalls. I am reinforcing and placing new ones up almost immediately, however, they are continuing to tear them down almost as fast.” “Hold tight…” he bit his cheek, trying his hardest to assist the A.I. in this process. But true to what he said… they were being demolished at an alarming rate. This was different from any other hack he had to deal with. This was no “stealthy hack” or a “casual” one… no, this one had a single intent: Break it down. He felt beads of sweat coming down his head as he kept assisting P.I.X.E.L in keeping this brutish force at bay. He wanted to pay attention to the ping to see if they'd find the source… but right now, all he could do was hope it'd find the source… because his attention would now be on this little fight. “Don't let up, P.I.X.E.L…” he said, typing furiously at various different holo-pads he had immediately popped up. “I am giving it all she has, Captain!” He couldn't catch up in some spots, this brute was too strong and quick for it. At least, that's what he initially thought. There was an idea… one he hoped he never had to utilize. “P.I.X.E.L… I'm going to have to go into Overclock…” “Sir… you realize that will compromise your systems and the nanobot suit. Are you sure?” “Got no other option, partner.” Override sighed, still tapping and typing away. “I was given that data and information for a reason, and I'll be damned if I let some gorilla with a keyboard brute force their way into MY systems and take it away.” He paused, chuckling. “When it's all said and done and the nanobots return to the watch for a cool down period, keep the data as secure as you can.” “Affirmative…” “Here we go…” Override exhaled, before utilizing his powers to give his suit, systems, and nanobots a boost. Overclock… a term in the world of computers that practically increases a computer component's clock rate, be it the CPU, GPU, or even the RAM. This gives boosting performance and speed… whether it be for gaming, rendering, intensive tasks… and in this moment… to keep whatever force that fought against Override at bay. It was like a lightswitch that was flipped on, as now the Armored Hero was typing and processing the firewalls at a higher frequency. He fought… he typed… he out maneuvered as much as he could against this attacker. Eventually, Override knocked it back just long enough to do one last thing. “P.I.X.E.L! Cut the communications off ASAP!” P.I.X.E.L obliged, almost several milliseconds after Override asked it. “Systems are normal now… however…” Override knew it… he saw the warning flash on his HUD: heat detect warning. With the overclocking, while boosted performance and speed, it required a massive cool down. Right now, he could feel the nanobots slowly retreating from his feet, upward. Then his hands… “P.I.X.E.L, if that ping comes back with something… let me know.” he said, a bit triumphant that he knocked back the force that was trying to attack him… but it cost him. “Of course sir… and I am sorry you had to resort to this…” “Bound to happen eventually…” he sighed, feeling the nanobots slowly rolling up and over to the watch. All that remained was the helmet and even then, it started to slowly creep off. “See you on the other side, partner.” And with that, the last bit of the armor creeped away, and the NOVA Mk17 armor was placed back into the watch… Override… no… Victor McCoy and his civilian attire was all that remained for now.
