    I think YCM has been down for a month now. Even if it comes back up it seems likely such a long down time will be the final nail. It makes me pretty sad honestly.

      I suppose, but at least the games and the animes have all had the same style since the beginning in YGO, now this Shadowverse thing is a complete shift in style and it's so strange.

    Did you guys ever get fake cards growing up?

      Yes, definitely. During elementary school I played a ton of yugioh with fake cards since real cards were too expensive. But the fake cards I used were very close to the real thing, without any errors in spelling or card effects.

    Today I have to wear jeans to work. I'll be honest, spending 10 minutes at 5 am figuring out which pair had the least ground-in paint was much more effort than I would have liked to put in this morning.

    It's been a lot of fun to go back to the original YGO series, I remember both so much and so little, and of course the Japanese version got plenty of differences too. I just got the Bakura forest duel, which I always remembered to be one of my favorites, I wonder how it holds up.

      I'm rewatching the original yugioh series too, currently at episode 81 in the middle of the battle city tournament. It's been a blast.

      Also, I don't remember having watched past the orichalchos arc, so it'll be my first time seeing the last 30 episodes or so.

    Why do so many MtG players like Commander (EDH)? I cannot escape it both online and IRL.

      It's the most fun way to play MtG, in my opinion and of many others. There's so much more depth to the gameplay compared to regular constructed formats. And the final objective isn't even to win, it's to have a blast.

    Watched Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai (anime have the best names). Starts out strong, but couldn't figure out why this was showing up on so many "best of" for the fall season. It only got strong as it went though and at the end I totally get it. Really great series.
