  1. Vote for Bounty. Damn I sure like coming for my Bounty. And never tried the BEWD candy. Looks fun but can't even imagine how it tastes.
  2. I'm assuming Maltesers are like Whoopers, and I like those, yeah. So they get my vote.
  3. Vote for Kit Kat. Simple but effective combination of chocolate with wafers. I had one recently too, so 1 more reason to vote for them. And vanilla Oreos... will just say the lack of chocolate really makes a difference and prefer the versions with at least 1 side of chocolate wafer.
  4. I would take an ice cream shake with Oreos over a handful of chocolate chip cookies any day.
  5. Haven't tried either AFAIK but the whatchamacallait thingie has peanut butter and I don't like it much so Galaxy/Dove it is.
  6. Really? Snacki gone in such way? Ridiculous. Skrimir and Lyre is a ship that never crossed my mind but... it could actually work xD
  7. Oh, you are right, forgot to consider the on-hand effect. Then it's really good, yeah. It can do a lot for the deck. It would be arguably unfair if it wasn't for the discard cost, otherwise a single Iztar and the right GY set-up can lead to Summoning 2 Sinistars with plusing effects for a +2.
  8. Mara: A problem with the text. First effect states it won't apply when Summoned by its own effect, but the way you wrote the self-summoning effect, it works as more of a summoning condition or inherent Summon (e.g. Cyber Dragon) instead of a proper effect. In other words it's not Summoning itself by an effect. Thus, it will be unaffected by the restriction on the first effect. That's easy to fix, though, you just have to re-write it as an actual effect. I suggest: If you control a DARK "Corrupted" monster: You can send 1 card from your hand to the GY, and if you do, Special Summon this card from your hand or GY, and if you do that, this card becomes DARK Fiend while face-up on the field. Although now I have a question: is it intended to be able to discard itself to Summon itself? If not, then you have to add other conditions like "send 1 other card from your hand to the GY". Other than that, card looks solid to me. Tchort: Similar to Mara, it has a problem with the text. The 2nd effect says it won't activate if the card is sent to the GY by its own effect, but the way you wrote the 1st effect, sending itself from hand to GY is a cost instead of an effect, and thus bypasses the restriction of the 2nd effect anyway. Likewise, this is easy to fix, just re-write it so the discard becomes part of the effect: During your Main Phase: You can send this card from your hand to the GY, and if you do, add 1 "Condemnation" Spell/Trap from your Deck or GY to your hand. That aside, looks fine to me. Both Mara and Tchort provide searching and summoning power, but I don't see them breaking anything yet. I do find odd that Mara and Tchort have a different naming pattern that the rest of the archetype monsters, but that's not an issue, more of an aesthetic mismatch. Acedia: Dunno why, but I like this one. It can burn, provide a quick effect boost akin to Honest, Kalut, etc. and provides defense to the archetype, all in one. Normally I would think it does too much, but in this case I find it fine and I do like how the first 2 effects sinergize with the protection by assisting with getting itself in the GY. Plus the stat boost works on any Fiend so it has splashabiity potential, and I find amusing when cards have splashable traits. Avaritia: Solid support. The field effect is on the slow side but the self-protection effect should be effective at keeping it on board and reducing battle damage, or at least soak non-destructive removal the opponent spends on it. Or you can always mill it and SS it for quick fodder for a Summon akin to Trick Clown, Wulf, Felis, etc. I would have expected a card like this to have 2100 DEF or so, but then maybe that's a bit too much considering its self-Summon effect. Ira: A damage dealer. Armades and piecing effect in one in a 2800-ATK body with a burning effect, and the float is a nice insurance effect. Not much to say, I see players going for this when aiming for game but otherwise other options with removal and/or negation effects should have priority. Doesn't help that there are other generic and semi-generic options in the Synchro 8 pool that ought to be more appealing, unless you are locked into SSing Corrupted monsters only. It's rare to see a poli-Attribute archetype give to their WATER the beater role though, but that's not a bad thing xD Invidia: Now this has disruption written all over it. This one is IMO too scary though, and arguably OPed: not only it can disrupt both Spell/Traps and monsters, also it lacks "Once per turn" clauses on the monster stun effect so as long as you have cards to discard, your opponent won't be able to activate the effects of any monsters on the its field AND it will have its monsters Set so not even a chance for Synchro, Xyz or Link summoning. It would be more bearable and even acceptable if both effects had a "hard OPT" clause. Gula: Doesn't look so good, It's too passive, and seems it's intended to discourage the opponent from attacking, but it won't disrupt them in any way so they can still go for their combos and set-up a way to remove it before even entering the BP. I guess you can go for this in a pinch late-game, when you are low in LP and both players are low in resources, but even then, you would be just stalling and crossing fingers your opponent doesn't have anything to remove while you invest 2 monsters on this. Luxuria: An option to remove monsters by effect. Ought to be useful for breaking boards even if nowadays relying on the BP is on the slow or impractical side. The formats are rather fast and most of the removal is done in the MPs, except for an sporadic Mirror Force variant tech. And of course Evenly Matched but that is on its own level of removal power. Still, removal in BPs is still good to pick on the opponent. And to be fair, it does have protection from targeting and attacks so it makes it more likely to survive some BPs. Superbia: Normally, Fusion monsters don't have wording like "...including a..." in their list of materials, and so far that's only seen in Link monsters. AFAIK this would be more appropriate for a Fusion: 1 "Corrupted" monsters + 1 non-Level 4 "Corrupted" monster Fix aside, damn this card has so many things: board clearing, 3000-ATK beater, built-in effect protection albeit conditional, and protection from attacks for fellow Corrupted monsters. It's such a role compression that it almost looks unfair. It's held back by being a Fusion, which means it needs a Fusioning card or effect to be Summoned. But if they have an archetype Fusion Spell, then it may be a bit too much. Grimoire: And here is the Fusion Spell. Which also doubles as an archetype Foolish Burial. I like this type of design, personally: if you can't or do not want to fuse, the card remains live with the milling effect. And these Corrupted do benefit from being milled so it's a win. The burn effect is icing of cake and rather unneeded, but I don't see any issues with it having it. Rite: Not a fan of this one. It's just an archetype Monster Reborn x2. It's IMO both bland and cheap. At least spice it up and not make it have basically the same effect twice. Think of Trickstar Reincarnation, for example. Impulse: Looks fine. Reminds me of Icarus Attack, Offerings of Snake Deity, Fish Depth Charge and other chainable Traps that are a 2-for-2 trade, expect that instead of destroying 2 cards or netting a card draw, this gives an archetype mill, which still translates into advantage depending on what you mill. I like the alternate option of an ATK boost to save a key monster on board. Overall these look solid. The maindeck monsters provide enough swarming power IMO and some come with effects that generate card advantage and thus resources to work with. Invidia and Lxuria provide good board control, and the former is among the best cards I have seen to open with. And Superbia... well, it's practically the win condition. IMO the weakest one is Gula, and to a lesser extent Ira because its only job is beating and finishing games, but coincidentally these 2 are the only ED monsters with floating effects so... that kind of compensates their weaker nature I guess? IDK. Grimoire is really good as an archetype Foolish Burial with the option of dropping Superbia if it's safe and you have the requirements, while Impulse provides further disruption to combine with Invidia and Luxuria, and being searchable a big plus, as demonstrated by Salamangreat Rage and Infernity Break. Rite is also good but, again, rather boring.
  9. This looks good. Solid support for Goblins and IMO hey deserve some more love than the cumbersome "Scrounging Goblin". I find amusing that it can give you easy access to "Scrap Wyvern" by Summoning Scrap Goblin, which in turn makes for a nice engine along Scrap Recycler and Golem as demonstrated by some decks like Orcust Striker and Gizmek Orochi Zeroboros.
  10. My issue with Wrath is that it's only live when you have an archetype Xyz monster, depends on the opponent's field, and relies on the BP, on top of having the weaknesses of Equips (backrow removal can be activated in response to neuter it, you lose it if the equipped monster is gone, etc.) and nowadays that's unreliable, even if it can grant big ATK boosts and has high OTKing power. Anyway, I have been thinking that they may not be as potent as I thought. The stun effect is similar to Knightmare Gryphon's and yet, despite being an almost-generic Link4, you don't see it being played or mained often, let alone players going for it in opening turns. I guess allowing monsters to get their effects in the EM Zones is enough for the opponent to reach a way to break it. Although a major difference is that these Xyz require at least 2 materials instead of 4, and come with removal Quick Effects for further disruption. Karaka: looks solid to me. Draw power is welcomed Izar: It is... fine I guess. It basically just replaces itself with another Sinistar during the opponent's turn, but won't help with swarming or setting up for another Xyz. At least it's a +1 when you Summon from the GY. Revati: looks fine for breaking boards faster than Bellatrix if you don't control more Sinistar Xyzs, inflict chip damage and possibly finishing games with the damage. But personally I would rather find a way to get both Bellatrix and Tegmine on board. Nosaxa: Really wary of it. It may require 3 materials, but once you get it it's effectively a -2 cards from your hand since you can use the effect right away when the opponent's turn begins. Then factor in the Skill Drain-like effect and you leave the opponent in such a tight spot. Then again, Mermails have combos to open with Moulinglacia + Abyssgaios, resulting in a similar state, and you don't see them dominating the meta, but pretty sure they practically win the duel when they do, and things may get easier for them with MR2020, who knows. Pride: Solid archetype support IMO, but also has splashability potential. It may have a limited duration, but in decks that don't rely on monsters in the MM Zones, Strikers being the most notable example, stunning monsters in MM Zones is useful for both opening and board-breaking plays. It's no Mystic Mine, but damn, it's really close to it. Gluttony: Solid support. The draw effect depends on you controlling a monster but should not be difficult to make it live. And the GY effect reinforces the "protect the Xyz in EM Zone" playstyle, and make it useful even if you mill it, discard it because it was dead, etc. Envy: Really strange support card. The on-field effect is a searcher but inherently slow as a Trap and depends on an opponent's action to activate. It can be a lifesaver in combo with Sloth to Xyz during the opponent's turn and apply the Gryphon effect, but that's still situational. The GY effect does give it solid extra value with comeback potential despite being conditional, and along Gluttony makes me consider Foolish Burial Goods as a card to tech.
  11. Nasir eliminating Dheginsea, how rich xD And I see what you did there with Leonardo's name.

    Hi!

Hey, welcome to NCM! Good to have more custom card makers around here. I look forward to your creations.
  13. I'm no Morphtronic expert and the last thing I saw them do was some spam with Cellfon and Smarfon so IDK how good this actually is for the archetype. It looks good for sure, but at which degree? IDK. I can comment on the text though, which needs some work. For starters, excavating is part of an effect so you have to re-word it as a proper effect. Then, you separated 2 effects with periods when at first glance it looks like you could use connector like "and if you do" and "and if you do that".
  14. Couldn't think of anything at first because when I explore and find new music to enjoy it is usually from past years and I lean towards artists and labels I already know, although I am always looking for new artists whose creations fit my tastes. Then I remembered that I was introduced to Royal Republic and they got a couple of songs I dig and that were released in 2019, plus they stand out to me because while I like rock music, I don't listen to it as much as electronic stuff, but these guys are a big exception so far. Thus, I nominate them for this thread. Regarding artists, songs, etc. that I discovered in 2019 but weren't necessarily debuted or released in this year... then Dustboxx from Hardcore Tano*C label comes to mind, specifically with the track "Mind Acid Reflection". Another noteworthy artist for me is Moe Shop, who got me with the mixes it made a couple of years ago. I already knew it from one of its singles, but I rediscovered it this year, so to speak.
  15. Does YGO counts? A while ago a friend who is not into any gaming scene asked me about YGO and I found amusing how I explained things the most basic way as possible and realized that it can be so complicated to someone who has no idea of card games in general. I like Touhou but I don't get as deep into it as I would like to since there is so much content I haven't checked out and haven't gone as far as beating any of the main games in Lunatic Mode. Still, doesn't stop me from appreciating and being fascinated by the series and all the fandom behind it, including fanarts, music, fan games, official lore and literature, etc. EDIT: Adding a couple of things: I sometimes read content and lore like stories, character origins, etc. mainly from LoL and Overwatch but laos other games I stumble upon such as a Hat in Time, Shantae, Skullgirls, etc., despite not playing them. Also I randomly get curious about how certain food products or dishes are made. For instance one time I ended up looking up how canned sardines are processed, and recently I read about the origins of different U.S. style pizzas such as Chicago, Detroit and pan pizza.
  16. Because I recently discovered these guys.
  17. I want you to draw me like one of your french gir- *shot* ------ Please draw your take on a Gigantimax form for Eldegoss.
  18. Dear Snacki and her loyal guardian get my support.
  19. Snoww can search the Grimoire, for whatever that's worth. My main concern with this being a Normal Trap is that if the opponent fails to negate it, then it's forced to spend its hand or take the blow if it cannot, and against decks that can't put many cards on board it can practically seal the duel. Then add to it that as a Normal Trap it is searchable by Traptrick and Lilith, and can bait backrow removal. As a Cont. Trap it wouldn't benefit from those searchers, would be vulnerable to backrow removal, and would force you to play the small-hand game or else you are punished as well, thus making the card more tame. What I'm not sure about is if players would be willing to main this card as a Cont. Trap. But perhaps that's for the best to keep it as more of a counter against hand-heavy decks or as a meta call. Heck, I'm even not sure if players would be willing to run this current version of the card, since it's so dependent on the opposing deck or match-up.
  20. This thing really has me thinking. It has a really good effect that is more than a mere draw 2 cards for a +1, but it's only live when you "hard draw" so it won't be safe to run along other card-drawing effects to go faster. So it either relies on luck or on topdeck stack strategies. I guess it would a fine card to run in decks that can drop Sarjuya and/or Phantazmay, or already rely on topdeck stacking and run cards like RUM- The 7th One and The True Name.
  21. Such an intriguing way to reinvent "Finite Cards". Best timing of activation would be during the opponent's EP to catch it off-guard and make it lose cards if didn't play enough of them. And yet waiting until the End Phase to make a better use of this seems impractical, and it's no good when going second nor as a topdeck card. Still, looks like it would be a great counter card vs. decks that rely on keeping cards in hand, Magical Musketeers coming to mind, although they would be able to chain their backrow removal Spell/Traps in response anyway. Deck with plenty of hand traps would be affected, too. Oh wait, the effect has been largely changed. The point on activating it during the opponent's EP for a bigger impact still stands, but it is so much different now that it's a temporary and lingering effect once it resolves, and ideally it won't affect yourself, which otherwise forced you into playing a deck that can better adapt to it. I preferred the previous version personally, since it was a bit more fair by both allowing 1 card, and being stoppable by Quick Spell/Trap removal like good old MST. But even then, wasn't sure if was worth playing, while this version seems more appealing to play in any deck when going first and would definitely stand out in slower formats.
  22. All of them look so cute, Looking forward to seeing them all colored. I didnt notice at first, but I like they all have different horn shapes that fit their names and themes. If I had to pick a top favorite, I lean towards Blitzen: I like its sitting pose and expression of marvel xD It would be followed by Prancer and Dancer, which bet will look better once they are colored.

If only Hina was around here as much as I wish she was :(
  24. I see. Goes to show I just glanced at the archetype, relying more on my memories on the cards when they were first revealed. A Nephthys engine to grab a TT with the chance ot opening with a 1st turn nuke when going second ought to be good and give the archetype a sort of reward or incentive to play it.
