  1. They had to wait a bit to exit the ferry, as Naomi wouldn't budge when they got into harbor. There wasn't much the two could do about it, so instead they watched the first group shove off onto main land. After a while, Naomi woke up, and the three of them finally made it off of the boat. Oswald stretched, the feeling of being on dry land was nice, even if they had just been on the boat for a couple of hours. The place was named Skrelp Harbor. Seeing as to why, he turned to see a net picking up a large cluster of Skrelp. What the town planned on doing with the poor little Pokemon, Oswald didn't want to know. But at the same time... "You probably feel a bit more at home in this kind of setting, don't you?" Oswald looked around the busy town, laughing a bit at Kanon's words. "It's way less crowded than Goldenrod, but I'm sure we'll manage." He looked to the lighthouse, which was in a disastrous state of disrepair. Looking at it reminded him of Johto, and the Olivine Lighthouse that resided within. Even though there were odd gaps in the floor, it didn't look as decrepit as this one. "Oh yeah...the world is bigger." "That's right. The world is really, really big. We might as well figure out what we're doing in this little slice of it." Kanon nudged Oswald with her elbow. "Counting on you here, city boy." "Geez...putting so much responsibility on me? Guess I have no choice, huh?" He said, smiling. "I guess we should do what we always do, and explore the city. I really want to know what they're doing with the Skrelp here." He paused, looking at the crane again. "You guys can come with, if you want. Probably not the most exciting."
  2. Team Showdown - Sky Palace "I see." The Legend replied. "Miss...are you really okay with all of this? Having to fight against such dangerous foes...especially when most of your people prefer to stay as far away from it as possible. The end is coming soon. I just...don't want anyone to force themselves into it. I can't imagine it's going to get any easier until it's over. There's no telling how many will survive." As Magearna's smile faded, her's widened. "What else is a Gijinka gonna do?" She laughed. "Watch? I don't think so...not after all the trouble y'all have caused me already. Nah, I'm going to ride this out to the end." Taiga's finger started to trace the water's surface, making small little ripples in it. "Nothing's waiting for me down there anyways...Those two knuckleheads are all I got..." She sighed, but did so with a faint smile. "I didn't even want them followin' me around...I didn't know how to act with people. But travelling with them...it's changed me. I can't go back to how the way things were anymore." She looked to Magearna, with a straight face. "I'd rather die." Thinking back on Magearna's words, she couldn't help but feel the same way towards Isole. Magearna is quiet for a while before looking away with a smile. "Sometimes I forget how determined people can be." She said. "I guess that's part of why I have a lot to learn still." She looked back at Taiga. "If...if this region was doomed...if you couldn't fight back, what would you do?" The question rocked around in Taiga's head for a good minute. "Survive." She said, the word being the first one that popped into her head. "Do what I always have done, I guess." Taiga rubbed the back of her neck. "I've always had to struggle in this world. Nothin's been easy. The situation has never gotten brighter, no matter how hard I try to get a better life." Taiga gave a little huff. "If the whole place is doomed, I'll just have to struggle a bit more." "My home region, Alola, it...was overrun. Solgaleo and Lunara were gravely injured and the others forced them to escape. They had me leave, too, but I wonder if that was the wrong choice." She paused a moment. "Perhaps I should have thought more like you." "You ain't me, Magearna. So don't go thinkin' like me. You'll go nuts! Fufufufu." She stood out of the bath, splashing the Gijinka again. "You thought like you, and now you're here. Now you can stop any other region from being run over." As she wrapped herself in a towel, she looked at Magearna with a confident grin. "If I survive all this, let's go take back Alola." The confident grin turned into a sly snicker. "Although, my services might cost you an arm and a leg! Fufufufufu!" Taiga walked off, getting changed back into her clothes shortly after. She left the bath, and started heading towards her room, when she ran into Isole wandering about. "Shouldn't you be in bed?" She asked, laying a hand on the small girls shoulder. "Well...good thing you didn't. We need to talk."
  3. I'm going to be relatively generous with power scaling, since the threats we're going to face are crazier than normal. The higher your ninja ranking, the more justified your app has to be. I'm willing to let Alternate Reality kage become "Clocks", or Time keepers, but you'd have to have a crazy good application for it. Alternate Timeline Jinchuriki are game as well, but not mastered. Other than that, you can powerscale yourself with your own discretion, and I'll allow what I deem fit for the story.
  4. [Insert Fancy Logo Here] Backstory Shinobi. The title carries with it a long and disgraceful record of bloodshed. Warriors, trained in the arts of Ninjutsu, and followers of Chakra, they are used as instruments of war. Brother fought against brother, friend against friend. Clans went extinct on a weekly basis. One night, before a Great Ninja War erupted in the land, such a clan was deemed to have been wiped from the face of the earth. This was the Tomasuchi Clan. They were a peaceful and pacifistic Clan, leaning on ideals of unity. Their ideals fell on deaf ears, and they vanished from this world. Unbeknownst to the other warring Clans, these peaceful people had mastered a Jutsu so powerful, that it could distort time itself. The Tomasuchi Clan found itself among a plain of reality differing from their own. Outside of the village, was a misty terrain, hazy to the human eye. Out there, time stood still in some places. In others, it sped up. The villagers opted to stay within their village, constructing it higher and higher into a piece of their sky. Here, they honed themselves in the ways of their Time Jutsus, opting to make a peacekeeping force along all Shinobi Timelines. Any event that is deemed to destructive for the Shinobi World, they decide to resolve. However, the Tomasuchi's themselves do not fight to right these supposed wrongs. Instead, they summon Shinobi from other Timelines to aid them in their quest. Of course the Clan had criteria for a summon to take place. A strong Shinobi, struck down wrongfully or before his time. This Shinobi is you.
  5. "Hibiki did good. She screamed. A lot." "Oh did she now?" Misu said, her grin getting even wider. "Guess so. I have to take a long train ride home this weekend to get this form to my parents, then take the train back before school starts again on Monday. It's a bit of a drag, but it'll be so exciting to show them I made it in person!" There was a silence that hung in the air after the girl had payed for the tickets on her phone. "...I bought two tickets on accident." Misu snorted, and pounded on the desk. "You're a riot!" Misu cried out boisterously. "Well, no since wasting your ticket. How'sabout letting me hang with you? Like a bodyguard detail!" Misu nudged the girl with her elbow, raising her eyebrows as she did so. "I'll even work pro bono!" Misu reached into her shirt to pull out her phone. "Let's exchange digits. We'll meet up whenever you wanna go." Her eyes then turned cold as ice. "And I ain't gonna take no for an answer, Hibi..." Meanwhile, in the hallway "Oy teach!" A second student was now heading her way, and it was the second to last she thought it would be. The girl strode up to her as if she owned the place. The attitude already started to Irk her. "Rage you can't control, huh?" she asked abruptly, narrowing her gaze. "Here's the thing that confuses me... I didn't come here for you to do that. You think I want you to tell me what to do? Hell no... I wanted this school to teach me how to do it myself. You're a teacher, right? How many of the heroes out there do you know? Cause I've met some pretty crap ones... Course I can't respect them. They'd have been kicked out today if they were in that room, goddamn guarantee it. Heroes need to be better. That's what this damn school is for, right? Why you think I bothered applying? They need to feel the fear I felt in that room. When you said I failed. Nobody else in there is willing to do that, make everyone around them good enough to be a hero. MAKE them be better. I'm willing to make everyone in there work their damn hardest to be at all worth anything to the people out there. Why aren't you willing to expect the same of me? That's what I wanna know." Ms. Hitotsume took a long drag of her cigarette. The air between the two was as if two giant rocks were staring each other down, neither moving out of the others way. The ashes from her cigarette started to fall from the tip, but fizzled out of existence. "You still don't get it." She replied, her tone more cold than the one she used for Valerie. "You haven't apologized for what you said back there. You fail to realize that your predecessors are laying down their lives to pass on their ideals and wisdom to you. And what do you do with that? You spat in their face. You spat in my face." Ms. Hitotsume pushed her glasses up her face. "I get it. You want to be better than the heroes who came before. That's understandable, commendable even. And that's what I'm going to try and make this class. But someone who can't acknowledge the accomplishments, and deeds of generations past will never be recognized as 'better'." She sighed out of frustration. "You obviously have the drive to become a hero, Ms. Brawen, but you still lack respect. I can't allow someone who said those things to become a hero..even if they are strong and have good intentions." As Misu finished shaking down Hibiki's info, she strode past her teacher and Kess having a little conversation. It wasn't any of her business, so Misu continued on her way home. After opening the door, she felt something rush into her stomach, knocking the wind out of her. When she caught her breath, she realized Sei was on top of her. "You made it through a full day! How'd you do that!" "Ignored most of the stuff...what did you miss me, or something?" Sei pushed herself off of her sister, and went back inside the house. "Welcome home, I guess." Misu laughed, as she picked herself off of the pavement, and walked inside. She waved the paper in her hand, as if everyone else in the house could see it. "Hey, Old Lady, I need you to sign somethin'!" There was a stomping that could be heard coming from upstairs that eventually made its way to the top of them. At the peak, Misu's mom stood with her arms crossed. "And just who are you calling 'Old Lady', you water headed degenerate!" Misu made a break for it, running around the house with a big smile on her face. "Catch me if you can!" "D-d-don't break anything, please!" Her father could be heard in his study, the scratching of pencil on paper as furious as ever. "I need to focus! I have a breakout piece!" Misu's mom stopped her pursuit to sigh. "That's what you always say dear..." "But this time it's the truth! Strange creature sightings have been popping up as of late, and a government lab close by is on lock down! Something's sketchy here, and I'm getting down to the bottom of it!" "Of course, honey. Now where's that thing you need me to sign, Misu?" The week had past in the blink of an eye, as they usually did. Misu did her morning routine, putting on a fresh pair of leggings this time, something she hadn't thought of prior. It was Friday now, and she'd be free to do whatever she pleased on the weekend. Hero School was so boring, it should've just been regular school. With the signed paper in her hand, she reminded herself that things were going to get way more interesting next week. She said her morning goodbyes to her family, and made her way towards school. Out of an alleyway, a couple of punks she recognized approached her. "Hey Misu, haven't seen you at Quirk Fight Clu-" "Bro!!" The one beside him piped up. "Oh yeah right Bro! Sorry man!" He cleared his throat before continuing. "Haven't seen you around lately. What have you been up to?" "None of your business." "Wait! I recognize that uniform! It's the one to that high and mighty hero school! Misu's tryna become a freakin' hero! That's hilariou-" In a flash, Misu's fist drilled into the guys face, before it slammed into the pavement below. Steam left her mouth, as the other two flinched back. "I'm not a hero yet, so I'm not afraid to beat down some worthless punks before then." The two guys picked up their friend, and started trudging back into the alleyway. "We'll get you back Misu!" They said as they rushed to the shadows. Misu sighed. Quirks weren't allowed to be used in public, but it was a pretty hard tell if you were using it as an enhancer type Quirk. She continued her way to school, uninterrupted, and got to class, arriving late as usual. Everyone was already in their seats, chattering away, as Misu sat down in her chair. There wasn't much time to relax before Ms. Hitotsume slid the doors wide open. "Claaaass~!" She sang out, before closing the door behind her. "Before your introduction into real Hero work, we're going to do something real fun today!" She grabbed her clothes, and ripped them off, revealing a slightly altered gym uniform. The shirt was zipped down partially to allow her cleavage some breathing room, with nothing but a white tank top underneath. "We're having Quirk Evaluations today! Not everyone in the class knows the extent of each other's quirks are, and I only know the Quirk itself! But I want to see you push it in today's exam!" The class was trotted out of the classroom, and outside towards the sport fields. There, three testing grounds. Ms. Hitotsume wandered to each and rang off a description. The first was just a regular punching bag with a meter on the side, one you'd see at any arcade, but larger. "Here we have the Strike Indicator! We'll measure your striking power here!" The next was like a carnival game of sorts, with targets resting on comical portrayals of villains. "This is the Target Practice! Only using your Quirk, you'll have to try and hit all of the moving targets! If you can't that's okay! Just try whatever you feel will do the trick!" And the next she showed was the biggest of them all. A large obstacle course built for a ninja warrior. "So who's up first?"
  6. This was already a tiresome day, after having to exhaust her patience with all of the other Titans. Now this was happening. Sleepily, they all gathered together, in the dark. The only was missing was Elijah, or 'Nano' as he liked to be called. With the five of them gathered, Capricorn started to shoot off orders like he always did. “I’d like us to split up to investigate. Cherry Blade, Impact, you two make your way downstairs by the left wing, to the kitchen. Storm Siren, Diviner, the same through the right, to the workshop. I’ll canvass the top floor here, checking out the hangar, and see if I can’t wake our missing comrade. When you encounter our foe, draw them back up here using any means necessary. Keep your communicators to a minimum—battery is at a premium.” 'Capricorns' words were mired with the fact that the enemy was afoot. Hinata placed the mask that rest on her hip across her face, smiling underneath it. "Unless, of course, there are any better ideas. Open to suggestions." Hinata raised a hand. "Of course I have a suggestion. You all sit back, and let me handle this. You're just going to get in my way again." Hinata said, before dashing towards the stairs. Obviously the elevators would be out of order, seeing as there truly was no power throughout the base. She made haste to fly down the stairs, in an attempt to make as much distance between her and the one known as 'impact' as wide as possible. ”
  7. Team Showdown - Sky Temple As Taiga let out a deep exhale, she could hear the little pitter patter of feet heading into the room. She turned over her shoulder to see Magearna, clutching at her towel. She must've thought she'd be alone here. "Oh, excuse me, I didn't know you were here. Um. Um. Do you need anything? Er, not that I can really get anything right now." "Well well well, looks like someone isn't glued to Rayquaza's hip after all." Taiga said, her teeth glimmering in humor. "Oh...oh of course not, that would be rather uncomfortable." Taiga smacked the top of the frothy water with her hand, laughing as she did. "I didn't mean literally, silly! Fufufu!" Her face and demeanor gave off an innocence to that of Isole. A bit endearing, if not worrisome for a Legend. Taiga then waved Magearna down, flagging her to join her. "What do you see in that big green lug anyway? Why do you seem like some kind of servant. Aren't you a legendary Gijinka?" Magearna gingerly stepped into the water with a sigh. "Oh...no, not...not yet anyway. I'm too...young to be counted as a Legendary. I'm serving Lord Rayquaza at the moment to learn." "And how's greetin' guests, and serving dinner supposed to make you a Legend? Seems like a load of Bouffalant to me." Taiga said, splashing Magearna with a small wave. "Aren't you supposed to learn how to be yourself?" She gave a slight smile. "You can't learn to lead if you don't know how to follow first." Taiga smacked the air between them, as if giving the statement a backhand. "That's a load too! You can't learn how to be a leader. It's in your blood!" Taiga then swam up to Magearna, hear eyes just peaking above the water. She sprang up right in the girl's face with a big splash. "He's not even a good leader...what are you gonna learn from that lazy sack of bones?! Eh?!" She realized she was getting too heated. She sunk beneath the water, only to breach a second later, flipping her short hair behind her head. "You call it what you want...but I think he's just holdin' you back. Legends are born, not molded." She starts to giggle. "Oh, I assure you, they most certainly are not." Magearna then frowned at her. "I don't think you should be so quick to insult Lord Rayquaza. He's kept the world going for such a long time, all alone up here..." "Is that what he's told you?" Taiga said, with a grimace. "Where was he when I almost starved to death in an alleyway, huh? My world almost stopped that day..." Taiga clutched her arms, shivering despite the warm water. "He's disconnected from the real world...preferring to waste away up here...looking down on us...even when we're right in front of him." "Have you truly not noticed? Lord Rayquaza cannot leave this place." Magearna said, face falling. "The moment he does the weather goes out of control. Were he to leave for more than a few minutes..." She shook her head, the thought alone causing her to go silent. "I don't buy it." Taiga said, resting her chin on the water. "Not one bit."
  8. "Of course I can," she said rather flippantly, flapping her wings as opened her mouth wide to show Misu. "I can bite the bad guys wif tese." Hibiki then turned to the boy making a huge racket for no reason, the one who had introduced himself as Suda. "You saw what I can do in the exam, right?" Hibiki asked, leaning forward and tapping Suda on the shoulder. "I can totally take care of myself! Tell her." "Whatever you say squirt!" Misu said, smacking her knee at the thought of the girl tussling with someone. "I'm sure you'll have the baddies quivering in their seal leather boots!" The girl was a riot. "You ever thought about joining a gang, Hibi?" Misu said, leaning in close, then pushing herself away. "Just kiddin'!" Misu laughed, as she almost crumbled her paper in her hand. She looked at it for a moment, stopping herself from laughing too much. "I'll have no prob getting a signature from my mom...My dad's kinda got a thing against me going here...doesn't really trust the government." She shrugged. "Guess I'll have to keep it from him, huh?" Meanwhile, in the hallway As Ms. Hitotsume strolled down the hallway, she took out a pack of cigarettes from her pocket, almost mocking the 'No Smoking' sign she walked past. "Miss...Ms. Hitotsume." She stopped in her tracks, sighing a bit. From the voice, she knew exactly who it was. She turned around, with a raised eyebrow and half-assed smile. "Ms. Clark, was it? How can I help you?" "I'm sure you're busy but I just have to ask about something. That girl, Kess, when you failed her...Aren't you worried? I'm not saying she should be here but do you think it's okay to just let someone so full of anger walk out without trying to help them out?" Ms. Hitotsume placed the cigarette in her mouth, and lit it. She took a deep breath in, before exhaling the smoke to the side. "Of course I'm worried, Ms. Clark. But that girl is on a whole other level of ego. She needs a reality check." She took another drag of her cigarette before continuing. "I'm guessing this is the first road block she's ever come across in life that she couldn't get by with brute force. If she really wants to be a hero...one of the thing she aspires to be, yet also despises, she needs to wrap her head around the fact that she's not going to get there with that attitude." Ms. Hitotsume looked past Valerie and towards the classroom. "I'm not a therapist Ms. Clark, but I have my own way of saving people." She waved to Valerie, with the cigarette dangling from her mouth. "I am a hero after all."
  9. Todd skimmed through the rows and rows of books, not looking for any one in particular. Some books had some strange markings on them, as if a rat had torn through the front to back of the whole thing, ripping the pages along the way. This was especially the case in the Action and Science Fiction aisles. Little graffiti marked some of the pages, with a silly face with long ears that had a little saying next to it that read, 'I'm #1!' Todd picked up one of the books that had the scratches on the cover, Aldous Huxley's 'Brave New World'. It didn't seem like the book for the situation...hit a little too close to home with a title like that. He placed it back, and searched again. He found a generic book about a lone bowman, which turned out to be the middle of a series of books. "You can't tell me where to start." He said, scratching the cover, giving a mindful look back to the Fiery Librarian. He stopped scratching at any sign of attention given from her, but he could still hear the faint sounds of scratching coming from somewhere. He took the book, and checked it out, anxious if the Librarian would notice any scratches. Once he was done, he followed the faint sounds. Along the way, he saw Mackenzie heading towards the Library. "I'm not crazy, right? You hear that too?" He said to the girl, not even sparing her a look as he walked past. Todd eventually made his way to one of the exits on the floor. There, inside the stone wall nearby, he could hear the faint scratching sound clearly. "Probably just some rat..." He said, squatting down as low as he could, as he focused on the wall. The longer he squatted, and listened, the louder the scratching became. It sounded like a full on digging at some points. "Probably just some...really buff rat..." He guessed, his chin resting above a cupped hand. With the other, he started scratching the wall as well. Maybe help had arrived, and was digging into the school! He approached closer to inspect the gaps left between the vines and stone, hoping to see the source of all the scratching and digging. Past it all, he could see some strange bones, prompting him to jump a bit, but looking past them, he could see a golden knife grinding its way through the stone. "What the?!" He said, looking at the strange site. This was probably the most exciting thing to happen since all of this, so Todd opted to try and dig the thing out himself. Jiggling some of the rocks from the wall a bit loose, he was able to pull them out. He continued to do so, in an attempt to reach the glimmering knife. Once he had plucked some stones from the wall, he heard the digging stop, and a voice come through. "Wait, what?! There WERE people in here? And I thought my master was just sending me on a wild goose chase!" He could see the knife retract from the other side, flashing the number 20 on it's side. "Wait! Get back here! I want answers!" Todd said, reaching through the stone, smashing his shoulder against the small hole he had made in a vain attempt to grab for the knife, but to no avail. "Damn." He said, taking his arm out of the hole. Was it one of those things everyone was talking about?
  10. Team Showdown - Sky Temple As the legends bickered among themselves, Taiga couldn't help but roll her eyes. They were like one big happy family up here. But the fact that Rayquaza wasn't going to participate in the final fight irked her. And it was definitely aggravating her more that Rayquaza planned on sending them out again immediately after getting their asses whipped by both a Legend and a God slayer. "I'm tired." Isole chimed in, poking at Taiga and Scarlet. Taiga nodded in agreement, and Scarlet let her opinion on the matter known as well. "Yeah, not to burst y'alls bubble or anythin', but we're going to rest up before getting handed our asses again." With that, Taiga saluted the Legends, ushering Isole to follow. "You should probably head on up to bed, Ice." She said, patting her head. "I'll be up soon enough, but my skin's a little dry. I'm going to take a dip." She waved back to Isole with a warm smile, as they parted ways, making her way to the pool. In a bathroom beforehand, she gingerly disrobed, leaving the bandages the covered her chest and lower regions. Afterwards, she took a step into the hot steaming water that was separate from the large pool. She sank lower into the water, letting out a relieved sigh as she went deeper. She could feel her skin tingle, and reinvigorate itself with the fresh water flowing through her pores. "A girl could get used to this. Fufufu..." She said, closing her eyes.
  11. "Do you think maybe something's wrong with her muscles?" "Atrophy, probably..." Oswald said, not sure if he wanted to be correct. After all, the girl could barely walk anywhere by herself without the help of Princess. "We'll just have to whip her into shape I suppose." Once they were topside, Knight had decided to get himself into a bit more trouble with the others. It turned out that Knight was really persistent with the idea of battling, and Naomi obliged him. The battle was quick, over in the blink of an eye almost, prompting Oswald to let out a halfhearted laugh. "You'll get 'em next time, Naomi." Oswald said, almost hesitant to encourage the girl. That Ivan guy from before then walked up to her with those beady eyes of his, prompting Oswald to get in between the two. "You know, you should take better care of this little fella. I mean sure, nothing happened to him this time, but imagine if some thug got on the boat and just snatched him up while you were doing... god knows what, sleeping? And another thing, what's with the battling!? Knight here practically had to order himself to do anything!" "Hey now, lets settle down." Oswald said, placing his hand in a gesture to stop. "You know that's what Knight wanted too, right? That guy's a bundle of energy, and he wanted to let loose. We could all tell." Oswald put his hand down, and into his pocket. "And Naomi isn't quite the battler, if you didn't notice." He turned back to the girl, who almost looked asleep again, and back to Ivan. "Yet. We'll make a trainer out of her...or whatever she wants to do, soon enough." This guys gruff exterior was really hiding a love for Pokemon, even other people's. He and Oswald were of the same cloth, but cut two different ways. "She means well. So try not to get too nosy, pal."
  12. He couldn't sleep again...the large bags under his eyes were a testament to that. He sat against one of the many rocky walls, chipping away at his fingernails. He always did this when he didn't know what else to do. Everyone around him was taking this so well, being transported into another reality, but he couldn't sit idly by. Upon inspecting every possible route of escape, he had determined that it was impossible. Travelling to different levels of the 'school' was now dangerous, and the auditorium was gated. This was all too crazy. Not to mention those...things...he saw in the corner of his eye. Those little creatures that roamed freely in this world. "DAMNIT!" He said, flinging a fist against the wall. He gripped a hold of his head, and sunk deeper into himself. "What the hell...I know I should've just stayed home that day..." No electronics, no outside, no family. Just one week and he was about to crack. A slight grumbling from his stomach stopped his whining. He used the stony wall as a prop to push himself to his feet, placing a hand over half of his face. "Great." He said, rolling his eyes. "I have to go mix with the normies." He slumped his posture, as he made his way towards the Cafeteria, his eyes frantically moving from corner to corner, scanning for any ambushes. He passed a girl on the way, not even giving her a passing glance. She held books and food in her hand...maybe he'd visit the library later. When he arrived, Chris and Conner were both there. "Tch.." He spat to the side. It couldn't get more normie than those two. He picked himself a plate of food off the table where Mr. Henderson was divvying up portions, and decided to head out once again. He preferred to eat alone, whether it be in another dimension or at home. Instead of heading for his usual corner, this time, he made a pit stop at the library. He recoiled a bit at the sight of the librarian, whose hair was completely ablaze. However, she didn't seem all too phased by it, so Todd decided to pay it no mind. Instead, he scoured the library looking for a new read. After all, he was starting to get incredibly bored.
  13. Misu had barely payed anyone's little speech attention, only hearing the snippets of their name. How could she? The fact that all of these kids actually aspired to be the next generation of heroes was so cliche. However, that all changed when Kess made her intentions, and thoughts, known. Misu didn't want to show any interest, but her jaw nearly dropped at what the girl had said. She definitely wasn't all there, even she could see that. Misu didn't know what it took to be a true hero of society, but what that girl had said wasn't it. A couple more came up to speak their minds, but Misu could only think about what Kess had said. When they all had finished, a faint snickering could be heard from the back of the class. Misu looked over her shoulder, and raised an eyebrow, as she watched Ms. Hitotsume covering her mouth with her hand. She couldn't contain her snorting, as the burst into full on laughs. "You're all so lame!" She said, wiping a tear from her eye. "Although, I was pretty lame when I first started the business." She started walking up to the front desk, before stopping at Kess'. Her eyes narrowed as looked at the girl. "You. You fail. You lack common respect, and you clearly have a rage in you that I couldn't control. A shame really. You can stay for the rest of the day, but I don't want to see you back here tomorrow. You wouldn't know what a Hero was if they came up and smacked you upside the head. Change your attitude, and try again next year." She kept her eyes on Kess for what seemed to be an eternity, only to continue walking to the front desk. Misu couldn't help but crack a smile. Of course that answer wouldn't have passed. It was a response from a straight up psychopath. "Better luck next year, pipsqueak." Misu thought to herself. "Now then class~," Ms. Hitotsume sprang back to her cheery self, "Open your math books to page 1~! Time for some Algebra~!" Misu groaned as she reached for her backpack and opened the pages. After many hours of hard learning, Misu slumped back in her chair. Steam was coming from the top of her head, as her brain felt completely fried. The day's lessons were finally over. School really was for chumps with nothing to do. But she'd have to pull through, for her family. "Oh class~! Before I forget~!" Ms. Hitotsume passed out a paper sheet for each student, except Kess. "Next week we'll be starting your in-field training~! We're short on licensed heroes these days~! Crimes are picking up! So the government is giving us special permission to let you use your powers under adult hero supervision~! We just need a signature from your parents or guardian to let you do so~!" She winked at the kids, before starting to head out the door. "In-field training starts next week~! It was nice to meet you Class 1-B~! Have a good day~!" As soon as she passed the thresh hold, she could be heard mumbling about a need for some alcohol. Misu stared at the paper, nervously. She'd get to be out in the field doing what heroes do on a regular basis...beat up some bad guys? She held up the paper in front of her face. "Sounds fun." She said coldly. She turned to Hibiki and smacked her paper. "Sure you can handle it, Hibiki?"
  14. Some time had passed after Hinata had fallen into a blissful crab meat coma, and she found herself waking up with a slightly rumbling tummy. Rising from her bed, she went to go turn on the lights, rubbing her eyes. She thought she'd flipped the switch, but maybe she had missed due to her drowsiness. Taking a closer look, she had tried to turn the light on, but they seemed to not be working. Her eyes had adjusted to the dark in the meantime, so she decided to light some candles in her room instead. The little light that they all provided gave her the way to her bathroom. However, when she tried to open the door, it would remain shut. It was a door that only operated with functioning power. Her stomach growled, as she winced. "Troublesome..." She groaned. It seemed as if the whole Tower's power had been shut off. Did the league forget to pay the power bill? Regardless, she needed to use the toilet. And only one thing stood between her and that. Placing a hand on her blade's hilt, and a shimmering light emanating from her horns, Hinata drew her blade straight up in a flash. All of the flames that lit the candles in her room were snuffed in an instant. The only light remaining was that of the ghostly blue glow coming from her horns. She sighed, as the door before her fell into pieces before her. She sheathed her sword, as she walked over the threshold to the bathroom. "The water better be running..." She said to herself.
  15. Team Showdown - Southshore Forest/Sky Temple "I should get prepared. It sounds like it won't be long before the call to arms starts. I'm sure he has somewhere else to send you." Looking towards Taiga she finished "Don't be afraid to tell him to shove it." Taiga winked at the legend, giving her a thumbs up and a vigorous, "Fufu!" As the squad left the underground lair, Isole managed to get them whisked away back to the hall where Rayquaza resided. It took her a moment to recoil from all the wind that brought them here, but she was sure that the jolly green ass looked at them with those sharp eyes of his. She could feel them staring daggers into the team, without Zygarde in tow. Beside Rayquaza were both Magearna and Groudon, but a new addition stood there. With her blue clothing, and incredible similar markings as both Rayquaza and Groudon, that could only mean one thing. "Where is Zygarde?" Rayquaza asked. "What happened down there?" Ignoring Rayquaza's immediate question, Taiga stared at the legend she had all but confirmed was Kyogre. Her fists quivered, and she could feel all the excitement welled up in her. There was only one thing on her mind. "KY-KY-KY-KY-" Taiga used both hands to smack her cheeks in rapid succession, snapping herself out of her stammering, "KYOGRE! GIVE ME YOUR TREASURE!!!! I've been looking for it ever since I heard the legends!!! I'm a huge fan!" She smacked her mouth shut at the utterance of her deepest secret. The woman stepped back, as her eyes widened in shock. She gave a look towards Rayquaza, who returned it with a shrug. She started to approach Taiga, looming over her with her sheer size and stature. She leaned over into Taiga, and spoke into the thing covering her mouth. It muffled whatever she was saying, so Taiga couldn't understand. If she hadn't been so nervous, Taiga would've ripped the thing from her mouth. However, Taiga almost couldn't speak from the sheer pressure of the girl's presence. "Uhm...E-excuse me...but could you say that again? I couldn't understand ya...fu..." The woman's eyes got darker, looking rather annoyed. She pointed to Taiga's mouth, and then traced a question mark in the air. It didn't seem like the woman was able to talk freely, so Taiga guessed that she was questioning her question. "Well...you see...Gijinka told me a long time ago that there was a big pile of treasure hidden in the sea, guarded by you! And whoever beat you got all the treasure of a thousand sunken pirate ships for themselves! You're like...the pirate holy grail! And I'm the holy grail of pirates!!" The woman raised her arms, looking to the other legends for help, as the spark in Taiga's eyes faded bit by bit. However, Groudon spoke up. "Excuse my sister. She's an idiot. I don't know if there is or isn't any treasure but...Kyogre wouldn't know if there was. She doesn't...understand what most people would call treasure." At the revelation, Taiga reached into her pockets to grab a single Poke. She presented it to Kyogre with a fanatical look. "Like this! Somethin' shiny! Anythin'!" The woman reached out for the coin, as she watched the light dance off of it. She seemed to trace the light and the metal. Sticking it back out, she nodded. The light in Taiga's eyes welled back up, as she fell down to her knees. "Thank goodness...I'll keep looking...I'll find it..." Taiga was then shaken by the sound of the poke hitting against the floor. Kyogre had done away with it like it meant nothing. "Yeah...suppose that's what you'd do huh...I figured you didn't care...fufufu..." The Kyogre tilted her head at the display. She looked towards the coin on the ground, and then pointed to Taiga's heart. Taiga didn't know why, but something tugged on her chest. Growing up alone...living life not knowing if you were going to survive the day...coins were the only thing that could get her through to the next morning with a somewhat full stomach. "Yeah...they mean a lot to me...with that stuff...I can live my life the way I want...the more I have, the better it can be, right?" The legend looked down to Taiga, and then to the coin. She walked over to it, and picked it up, bringing it back as she held it out towards Taiga. Taiga looked up at Kyogre, with watery eyes. It was like Kyogre was giving her a piece of the treasure already, in a way. Rayquaza sighed, as Kyogre turned back to stare at him, letting out a weird noise against the thing against her mouth. Taiga laughed at the display, wiping a tear from her eye. "You said it, sis! Fufufufu!" Taiga shakily rose back to her feet, placing her fists on her hips. She cleared her throat, and turned her attention towards Rayquaza. "Zygarde says she'll join the mission...but she doesn't wanna hang here around you, your highness." She made sure to make the highness sound as snarky as possible. Rayquaza groaned at that. "She's still upset about that? Well good work in any case. She's a bit stubborn, but she'll be of help." Taiga blushed at the fact that Rayquaza actually said something positive. Now probably wasn't a good time to tell him to shove it. Taiga scratched her cheek in embarrassment. "W-w-w-well yeah! My work's always good! Geez..." Taiga then remembered something important. "If you didn't know by now, we were attacked by a god slayer...A Crobat...and a strong one at that. Figured you'd might wanna know..."
  16. Misu and Valerie's shakedown was ended abruptly by the arrival of their teacher, Ms. Hitotsume. With her giddy attitude, Misu found herself not being able to comprehend if this lady was actually a hero or not. The bubbly nature of her voice was starting to grate Misu's eardrums...she could see herself skipping many classes in the future. However, once Ms. Hitotsume dropped her kindly facade to yell at that ridiculous outfit that Beetle had put on, Misu couldn't help but crack a smile. Maybe she was tougher than she looked. Hopefully she'd get to test her at some point. "Hello class. My name is Itou Yuuka. A pleasure to formally meet you all. There's a lot to it, but if I had to put it down into one word, it'd be instinct. I believe that being a hero is about not only being able to know what the right thing to do is, but acting on it the moment you realize what that is. At least, that's the base requirement of being a hero." Snooze. "It's almost like... a responsibility, I suppose, When you can do the things we can, and you don't... well... when the bad things happen... then they happened because of you. I guess when it comes down to it, what being hero is to me is a responsibility to use my power to help others." Duh. "...being a hero, at least to me, is about the initiative. A hero stands out for their initiative to act for selfless reasons. In other words, they never hesitate to go out of their way to protect those who need it, regardless of who they are or who they're helping. It's a pleasure to meet you all."\ Isn't that what Yuuka said? "Pleased to meet all of you. I'm Himura Hibiki! To me, being a hero is like, doing whatever you can to make the world a better place. Stopping bad guys, helping good guys that need it, and giving to your community and stuff. I've looked up to heroes ever since I met one as a little girl, so I always thought they're supposed to be these amazing people you'd want to look up to. Even if it's just by doing something small, being a hero means you should strive to make the world more peaceful. That's what I think anyway." This bat was a goody-two-shoes. "You might know by now but I'm Valerie Clark! A hero does everything they can to protect those who can't protect themselves. They fight past their own limits, work harder than anyone else, and never surrender in the face of evil. Being a hero isn't a choice or a goal. It's just what you are. Being a hero means putting the protection of innocents and the defeat of those who'd harm them before anything else. Being a hero means dedicating yourself to never letting evil win! And I'm going to be the best hero there ever was!" Yeah, yeah, the whole number 1 spiel. Misu yawned, as she stretched her arms above her head. As she picked at her teeth, she figured it was as good a time as any to get this whole thing over with. She smacked her hand on her desk, and stood up, walking over towards the front, desperately trying to find somewhere to put her hands. She couldn't stick them in her pockets...her skirt didn't have any. As she turned to face the rest of the class, she gave a rather delinquent frown, picking at the innards of her ear. "Yo. My name's Yoshino Misu. Call me whatever you'd like. But don't go makin' any dumb ideas." Misu gripped the tip of her hat, pulling it down as she struggled to think. "What being a hero means to me, huh?" She sighed. She didn't have the option of blowing this question off. Her family was counting on her. But when she thought of the question, something popped into the back of her mind. Without another thought, she began to speak. "Being a hero, to me, means being someone that someone else looks up to...Quirk or Quirkless." Her sisters smiling face that morning almost made her break out into one in front of the whole class. She scratched her cheek to stop herself. "I mean...you can't disappoint the people who put so much faith in you, right? Anyone who tells you differently ain't got enough guts. And if there's one thing heroes are about, it's guts."
  17. "well, lying isn't very hero-like, so I'd probably refrain from it. but I'm sure since we're all here, there's something honestly hero-like about all of you to talk about. as you can tell, I'm very much excited to see what the day holds." "Well ain't you the little ray of sunshine." Misu said, kicking her legs over her desk. "Yeah...I suppose lyin' ain't gonna cut it..." But at the back of her mind, was there even a good enough reason for her to be here, besides wanting to help her parents? It was so embarrassing to even think that was the reason she was here, what would the class even think? Well, it wasn't like she cared what they thought anyway. Anyone who disagreed would get- "It's Hibiki by the way. Himura Hibiki. Sorry I didn't get the chance to introduce myself on exam day." "Oh yeah. You're that bat chick that totally tried to stand up to me." Misu respected anyone that had the guts to even approach her. The smaller the person was greatly affected her opinion as well. "Well, you don't look the hero type...so you better not disappoint me. Or else you're gonna go-" "I brought that in from outside JUST IN CASE... FUCKER! You better have a good reason to be here when the teacher asks, What's-Your-Name... Else I'll kick you out the goddamn window. Have your head find another rock outside." "Oho?" Misu hadn't noticed, but that one chick from the entrance exams had landed in her classroom. Misu watched Valerie, as the girl started to approach the girl with a fiery spirit. Misu shrugged, as she followed closely behind. As the two stood side by side next to the girl, a palpable, menacing aura could be felt permeating from them. They both looked down on the girl with wicked smiles. "We're not in a competition right now. Pretty sure attacking another classmate like that is looked down on. If you plan to stick around it might be best you calm down. But I guess if you want to be the class bully I can show you what happens to a bully when a hero is present." "Yeah, why don't we all just get along, huh? After all, we're classmates now." Misu's grin widened, as she cracked her knuckles. "Or, we could do this the hard way. Either or...I don't really mind. With this chick and me, I'm pretty sure we can send you fl-" "Oh dear, oh dear~!" A voice could be heard ringing from the doorway. A well built, tall lady had slid the door open while everyone was busy conversing. "Let's settle down now everyone~! Let's all get in our seats~." The lady walked across the room and towards the desk at the front, grabbing a piece of chalk and writing on the board behind her. The words spelled out, Ms. Hitotsume. "Good Morning, everyone~! My name is Ms. Hitotsume~! It's a pleasure to meet you all~! Let's have a good year of learning~!" She started humming, as she looked around the room at all of her class, but as she scanned, she visibly became more and more ill. "My, my~..." She said, shakily, "we sure do have a cavalcade of characters here...haha..." Somehow, all of them managed to disrupt the dress code in their own unique, delinquent ways. The most excessive of the bunch was most certainly his. "E-e-excuse me young man..." She said, pointing to Herc, "but could you please take that off. You must be a foreigner, but I find your lack of respect for our schools rules to beeee~..." Her eyes turned sharp, as her hand slammed on the desk. "MOST DISDAINFUL!" She pinched the bridge of her nose, giving out a rather large sigh. "I can't believe I took this job..." She said under her breath. She removed her hand up from the desk, and brought both of them to her chin with a clap, smiling as if she hadn't made a scene. "Now, what was I missing~?" She thought aloud, clapping her hands together again once she found her answer. "Ah yes~! Your homework assignment from Sharp Shogun~!! Please come up in any order, and give me your answer~!!" She clapped her hands again, her eyes growing stern once more. "And make sure it's a good one~~!"
  18. "That's my new friend, Belle! She's a genius who likes TV. Princess says she wants to try to be strong. So'm gonna do that maybe. Where'd Knight go anyway?" Oswald had to blink a couple of times, with Naomi going on for more than a couple of sentences. He wasn't used to her being so frenetic...well frenetic in her case. He laughed before patting her head again. "Knight's topside, getting into trouble with some other cruise-goers. He and Princess have the same mindset, I think. They both want to get stronger." Oswald squatted beside her, smiling. "Let's do our best to make that happen, okay?" He said, before standing back up and smiling back at Belle. "Thanks for watching her while we were exploring the ship. Glad Naomi can make friends all on her own! She mainly likes to have people trip over her, so watch yourself! I'm Oswald by the way...kind of like her Guardian, I guess?" Oswald then turned his attention back to Naomi. "So, are we going to go grab Knight? Maybe you can tell him that you wanna make him stronger to?"
  19. One by one, more students were entering the classroom. And one by one, they insisted on playing buddy buddy. It was going to be a long day. "Morning. Guess we're gonna be classmates here in 1-B. Shiba Yuudai." Giving him a first glance, she noticed the weird muscles ingrained into his arms. It was interesting, but he was too friendly. "Beat it, twerp. I'm not here to make friends." She slammed her desk with a fist, and looked up to him with anger. "If you don't remember my name, I'm gonna send you flyin'...If you ain't got the courtesy to remember mine, I ain't gonna remember yours." That's when she felt a hearty slap on her back, one that tickled a little. Her eyebrows twitched, as she looked to see where it came from, noticing that Valerie girl from before. "Looks like we're in the same class. Sorry that you'll be getting second in everything." She glanced down and grinned. "Oh? Is that right." Misu stood up to show off the difference in their height, cracking her knuckles as she did so. "I ain't too fond of losing, so you're gonna have to make me, shorty!" "Skirt looks good on you though." Misu's face turned red with either embarrassment, anger, or maybe a combination of the two, as she tried to pull down the frills of her skirt. "H-H-Hey! Watch where you're lookin' shorty! Or you'll get sent flyin' too!" "You're totally rockin' that bancho look. I should have done something like that, it'd make this bee suit like, at least 5 times less lame, Ah well," The giant beetle from before had given her the look over too, as steam began to rise from her unexposed fists. "YOU'RE ALL GONNA GET SENT FLYING BY THE END OF HOMEROOM!" She roared, getting into a tight punching posture. "Good morning everyone. Pleasure to be in the same class as you all. Did you all do your homework?" The sight of the adorable girl from the end of the competition somehow calmed her down. Was it because she was so delicate looking that the breeze would snap her like a twig? She'd fight the breeze to protect this poor thing. She snapped out of her daze, and cleared her throat. "Homework?" Misu gave the girl a confused look, before being reminded about what that Sharp Shogun guy had said before. Her fists softened, as steam started to come out of her mouth. "Ah yeah...that bogus question, huh?" She said, with a finger on her lip. "If we don't have a good answer, we're probably getting kicked out...that must mean our teacher's pretty hardcore." There was nothing more that she want than to get kicked out of the first day. However, she couldn't help getting the thought of her family off of her mind. "I can't really afford to get kicked out...are you guys just gonna bs it too?" She asked in Valerie, Yuudai, and Yuuka's direction.
  20. Team Showdown - Southshore Forest Taiga watched on, containing her laughter at Scarlet's attempts at persuasion. The situation was escalating to a hilarious extent, but it was hard for her to breath, let alone laugh. All she could do was wear a goofy, worn-out smile. Propping herself upwards with the help of Isole's shoulder, Taiga took a deep breath. It still stung, but it seemed she needed to save the day once again. "Now, now," She said, trying to cut through the tension with her silver tongue, "Let's all take a little breather here. Arceus knows ya need it. Both of ya." Taiga motioned for the two of them to take a breath, demonstrating how it was done, but abruptly coughing during it. "Zygarde...I totally get where you're comin' from. I hate that bastard too...the way he looks at me..." It sent a cold chill down her spine, one that made one of her eyes twitch shut out of anger. "I hate his guts. And I don't think he's taken a liking to me neither. But here I am, runnin' errands for the bastard." "He has a way of getting his way..." She growled. "And I don't even think he's gonna thank us for our hard work...but I'm not in it for that." Taiga's smiled a bit, before remembering she hadn't thanked the Legend either. "I was unconscious before, so I'll say it now for all of us. Thanks Zygarde...for the shelter and food, and for getting rid of that dingbat." "I don't punish those who help me," She said, looking to Taiga, "If I see him, I might kill him myself." "Hell, I'll help ya! Fufufufu!" Taiga said, with a toothy grin. "But then that'd make me a godslayer, right? I'd be really tail fin backwards then, huh? Fufufufu!" She managed to get in a few laughs before having another coughing fit. "Listen...if you really don't want to help, I can't change your mind...and I guess we'll fail on this mission...but you should know that there are more of them out there. The godslayers, I mean. And to lure you out...they're going to set fire to every forest on the planet...they don't care about the planet....you're their only objective." Taiga, looked at Zygarde in the eye for a while. "If we had your help...we could stop them before they get the chance..." "If...If he finds out where they are, then I will go there. But I do not want to be where he is until then." She growled again. "That's all a girl can ask for." Taiga said, with a relieved sigh. "Trust me, being that high up also makes a Sharpedo queasy. Fufufu." Taiga lowered her head, as she looked to the rest of the food that Isole had, taking some for herself. "When that day comes, I can't wait to fight with you again...you pack a mean punch Gardey!" "Next time I'll make sure it's meaner." "Make sure not to get me caught in the crossfire! Fufufu!" She laughed, before taking another bite of berry. Fruit was pretty good from time to time...like a little sweet treat different than meat. But it must've been the taste of victory on all fronts. She turned to Scarlet, before whispering to her. "We gotta work on your charisma." She winked, before turning to Isole. "You're changin' too...finally defrostin' a bit? fufufu."
  21. Well here here they are! Let's go this app train rollin'
  22. "so, which one of you do they belong to?" "Knight doesn't think he belongs to anyone, apparently." Oswald chuckled. "But no, his trainer is probably below the deck. She's a pile of lazy cubones, but she's our friend. As long as knight doesn't get into trouble, I don't see any harm in him doing what he wants for the time being. He obviously doesn't like getting held down." On there way to find their sleepy little trainer, Kanon asked a question. "Do you know why trainers give people money when they lose in a battle? Is it illegal not to pay them or something?" "You know," He said with a tinge of confusion, "I'm not really sure myself. It's tradition, right? You see it on the streets, and from town to town. It's just an unspoken rule of battling that's been passed down through the ages." Thinking about it for a while, he came to a strange conclusion. "Back in the old days, pokemon battling wasn't as common as it is now, right? It was for survival, or extreme tension like wars and family feuds. It's common practice that losers of those things have to pay up for the trouble they cause...so maybe it's just a lesser, but friendlier offshoot of those rules." Oswald shrugged and smiled. "But that's just my theory." When they entered the haul of the ship, it wasn't long before they found Naomi, surprisingly still awake! What's more is that she was talking to someone, and getting in their personal space. "Oh, hey there Naomi, who's your friend." Oswald said, patting her on the head, and then stroking princess' side. "Sorry if she's been bothering you. We should've been keeping a closer eye on her."
  23. There was no response to her suggestion of seppuku, so Hinata just shrugged her shoulders and continued to drag the giant crab leg away. "Ok! Well! It's no use mopin' around. I'm gonna go bake some cookies. Who wants?" "Man, forget the cookies... We're off duty now, right? Can't we like, crack open some beers or something?" Hinata rolled her eyes at all of the suggestions. Instead of lazing around after a mission, maybe they could've tried a little harder to be people worthy of actually working with. Is this all human adults did on a daily basis. It was kind of pathetic. As she was about to exit the main quarters, she could hear the only other female on the team call out. "I would like a piece of that crab leg myself, miss Hinata. Hinata's eye twitched. Such greed. "Excuse me, Miss Siren, but I don't recall asking anyone if they'd like a piece." She stated, coldly. After all, she was the one who cut it off, drug it back, and had the intention of frying the thing piece by piece. As she entered the kitchen, she found a large enough pot to fit small pieces of the crab leg into it, and filled it with water. The only one in the kitchen with her now was that Elijah, the one with the wicked machinery in his body. "Is it truly becoming of a human male to be making 'cookies' after a performance like that?" She asked bluntly. She had been with these humans for so long, and yet she felt like they were all ghosts up until this point.
  24. "Haven't seen her. Sounds like a real piece of work. Maybe she couldn't get any more after stealing yours." the girl responded with a shrug. "Just being strong isn't gonna cut it." "No..." Misu said, looking back towards the testing grounds. "She'll be here. She might be strong, but she also seems re-...stupid." Misu's head turned back towards the front, with her eyes looking to the side at the girl. "Stupid people tend to get through these things easy peasy." Wait...wouldn't that also put her in that category. "I ain't stupid though, so don't go gettin' any wild ideas there...uh..." Misu pushed the top of her hat up a bit. "What's your name?" “Hi again! I heard you and that other girl fighting in the woods earlier. Since you’re here, I guess you won? Good job! ...but try not to pick too many fights with other students. You’d probably get in trouble for that.” Misu stared at the bat girl for a proper minute, before bending over to get directly in her face. "Don't go assumin' things. I didn't win...I just happened to get my medals peacefully after that scrap." She then put a hand on the girls shoulder, and gave a very sinister grin. "Fightin's what I do, shrimp. I don't take orders from things smaller than me, capiche?" She gave the girl an okay sign, before straightening out her posture. She sighed. "Well, seein' as how you were brave enough to ask me to stop fightin', guess I'll ask for your name too." After she asked the question, she heard a familiar roar in the crowd...and it annoyed her. "AND YOU'RE NEXT, PUNK!" "EH!? SHUT-UP WOULDJA!?" Even though the girl wasn't specifically talking to her, she couldn't help but get angry at her. "YOU COWARD! WHO RUNS AWAY FROM A FIGHT!? YOU WANNA GO ANOTHER ROUND, SO I CAN SHUT THOSE YAPS FOR YOU!? HUHHHH!?" The girl had been followed by many stragglers who managed to get to the gate before sundown. "Ah...so he did make it." The boy said, looking towards Yuudai. "Maybe I should've asked for more medals." He said, with a finger over his lips. The Samurai then raised his hand into the air. "Alright everyone, let's calm down now. The test has now concluded. No more fighting unless instructed, 'kay?" He said, rather bored. "Now that you're all here, you've passed the U.A. entrance exam, and as such will be enrolled into the first official hero course." The samurai held up one finger towards the crowd. "However, if we sense that you will be even the slightest threat to the government, or people of Japan, we will kick you out no questions asked. This means that your first assignment will be to answer my one question here, when you come back for class." He withdrew his finger, and crossed his arms. "What does it mean to you, to be a hero?" The air was silent and still, as the question almost passed through Misu's mind. "Tch..." She turned her head away from the man. "Assignin' homework already? What the hell..." "I would like to be the first to welcome you to our school, U.A! Allow me to introduce myself." The man made a somewhat weird pose, sticking his hand out in front of him while having a very wide stance, the other hand gripped to his sword. "I am the Edge Hero, Sharp Shogun! I'll be the head teacher for 1-A's class, so those of you all who end up there, I'll see you on Monday!" Sharp Shogun's posture returned to normal, after coughing. "To the others, dwell on that question, and give your teacher a fine response...or they'll kick you out for good." After his speech, Sharp Shogun dismissed the rest of them. The masses of students began to waltz off of school grounds, but Misu stayed a bit longer. She looked to the symbol on the front of the school, at the tiptop of the infrastructure. "Tch..." She looked to Val, and stuck out a fist. "You don't seem insufferable. If we're in the same class, don't think I'll go easy on you." Whether or not the girl responded she'd find Kess, and take a deep breath. "YOU CAN DROP DEAD! YOU BETTER NOT HOPE WE'RE IN THE SAME CLASS! I'LL RING YOUR DAMN NECK AND PILE DRIVE YOU 6 FEET UNDER, PIPSQUEAK! YOU HEAR ME!!!!" Taking another deep breath, she walked past the gate, throwing up a hand to those she met. "Later." Monday had come at last, and Misu's uniform had come in the mail faster than most mail would've. As she opened the packages, she layed out the five uniforms on her bed. Her face turned bright red, as she realized the bottom piece was a skirt. She was still going to wear her hat no matter what. After all, she had been wearing it for so long, it was hard to distinguish if it was actually apart of her hair or not. But the rest of the uniform was so...not her style. "You've gotta be kidding me. Screw the rules! I ain't wearin' this!" She grit her teeth, as she held up the small skirt, only to have the pictures of her mom and dad flash through her head. They would only get money from the Government, as long as she wasn't expelled from school. She almost ripped the seams of the skirt, but after much thought, she put it on. As it gripped her waist, she let out a small noise. "Onee-chan...stop making weird sounds." She could hear a groggy voice say from the doorway. Her sister stood there, rubbing her eyes. As she looked at Misu, she continued to do so. "I must be dreaming, Misu, or you're actually wearing girly clothes!" Her sister started laughing, wildly. Misu was struggling to pull up her tights, not used to doing it at all and fumbling as she hiked them up. "SH-SH-SHUT UP YOU LITTLE BRAT! This is hero-in-training gear! Encourage your sister, don't laugh at her! Geez..." Misu stomped to the door, only to plant a fist into the top of her sisters head, giving her a noogie for extra punishment. "Ah! Ah! I'm sorry Onee-chan!!!" She whimpered, as Misu pushed her fist off her head. "But why are you even doing this? Isn't school gonna mess up our Neighborhood Sister Patrols?!" Misu looked back towards her sister. "We can do that letter, Sei." She said, putting her shoes on and heading out the door. "But for now, I gotta play hero." It didn't take her long to walk to school, but the fact that she had to walk there in a skirt made it feel like an eternity. The wind was going places it definitely wasn't supposed to go, and it was all too much for her to figure out. "GEEZ!" She screamed, as she ran up the steps of the school. With the letter sent to her house, along with the uniforms, she was notified that she'd be in class 1-B. It was easy enough to find, but she decided to look around the school for a bit. She noted where the cafeteria was, along with every vending machine. Maybe going here wasn't going to be so bad...too bad she wouldn't be able to skip classes whenever she wanted. With her mind relatively at ease, she headed to the classroom. "Let's get this over with..."
