  1. Erica also feels how the things seems to be getting rougher. "This is not right at all..." She heads to the nearest window and can see the rocks are actually increasing in size and quantity. "Kuso... I shall be right back. Do not summon despair onto your heart." After accidentally butchering a simple "do not panic", she runs and leaves the premises and tries to find one of the staff to tell them the issue with the pilot. She's just a student, it may not be polite for her to tell the pilot how to do his job, but maybe she can find some teacher to make the situation get under control. She heads towards the hangar, to see if there's a staff in there that can help her get through the pilot... also, she wants to be in her mech in case things get rough. She reaches the hangar without having met any teacher in the way. She arrives the place and sees a couple of people in there, one on top of a mech, the other one pacing around. She right away sees none of them should be a pilot, so she looks at her own mech. "There is a storm of shooting stars attacking us. I will seek for seclusion inside my mech. I recommend to be the same as safety me." She... really meant for them to do as she does for safety, but her standard language is worse than the weather.
  2. Millie sighed disappointed after the whole scene. "Forget it..." She actually was not hungry (and even if she was, she only can fill herself with non-solid food, for obvious reasons) and only wanted to talk with Hinata in a more non intrusive way. However, it was clear that the half demon girl was out of her reach for now, so she decided to head to her room once more and listen to some "music" there, which was actually just ocean sounds in a rhythmical way. She was an easy to entertain person, it seems. She looked at the ceiling, wondering about Hinata and how would this team get together, specially if one of the members would not get to team play properly.
  3. Erica did catch up the slip a bit, but she assumed... "<What a weird first name she has...>" She said lowly to herself in her more natural Asarian language. She didn't pressure the matter any longer because she was not interested in that weirdness. She kept focusing on her book until she was tired of it and closed it to focus more on the others. "I am Sahira Rika. Actually, my legal name Erica Katorian Sapphire..." She is aware she screwed up her second name a bit, but she couldn't care less about it. "... but I am not used to be called in that way." She thinks a bit. "Have not gone around to fix the legal issue either. I have not had the time for that."
  4. Erica keeps looking at the information in the TV as she momentarily takes a glance a lot of people surrounding the guy in the mask. She stands up after a while, not having seen any info on the astroid field they were heading through, though she probably didn't expected much in that notice. She stands up and walks to the crowd. "It is absolutely impolite to interrupt someone-no-reading, specially by this amount of people." She looks at everyone in a pretty stern way. "And the staff is likely aware of the mask and its content, given we had been a couple of days in this ship already. So I would not be worried about it." She goes to the library shelves and picks a book on Advanced Sensors, then leans on a wall as she reads it. "Remember: The cat dies when it feels curious." She, of course, tried to say 'Curiosity killed the cat', but the language barrier is still there and it's still strong.
  5. Storm Siren sighed and got up. "I guess father was right. These walkers are not looking to be a team and the demon girl was becoming a liability for the team. She's too prideful to accept help and the difference of culture between her and the rest is pretty predominant. I may need to try and get closer to her and see if her callousness with us can be diminished..." She quickly became gas and went into her room. Once there, she took her clothes from the ground and reformed herself with them around, retaking her civilian form, including her glasses and wig. She walked out of the room and back the the living room, carrying a book in her hand. "I would like a piece of that crab leg myself, miss Hinata. And I appreciate your concern, Mr. Elijah, but I can assert the size of the crab is not related to any chemical abnormality on the sea. I had seen such crabs with father in the past down in the depths." She sits down and sighs. "Of course, that means we'll likely deal with more of these from father until we find out just what he wants."
  6. Erica looked at the young boys watching a cartoon and she simply ignored them as she wasn't into that kind of cartoons... she was, surprisingly, into more romantic affairs. She, of course, didn't let that last part to be unveiled. "I am not into entertainment, gentlemen." She then remembered she was gonna miss her show during her time in the cademy unless the cademy was able to get transmissions from Asari. Her thought train was interrupted by the news informing of the Heliosians reappearing. She had heard a bit about them, mainly from the army mentioning them when discussing the making of her mech. She felt the coincidence of the cademy doing a massive call and these old beings reappearing was too much of a coincidence. She kept around to see if there was a report on the asteroid field they were passing right now, as it was interrupting her meditation.
  7. Erica was looking at the window while the ship shook with each maneuver. She saw the asteroid field and, mentally, tried to match the movements with the debris. She was not an expert in that area, but if it was like avoiding projectiles, it was gonna be a tough ride. She went to the ping-pong table, looking at it and then went straight to the library. Erica had already missed a full day, as the first day she actually spent the night prior in the room listening at her box and crying. It was a pretty lonely ride for her, first day of school and nobody who she actually knew was gonna be there. Ice queen broke pretty early in her trip and she didn't want to actually be seen crying. She decided to go to the library and check if anyone was seeing any news on TV about why the asteroid field and also went to the library, wondering about the books they had in there.
  8. Milly herself didn't actually suffer from the wetness as much. After all, she was a living cloud. Her body was pretty much untouched, much things considered. She was feeling a bit bad about the situation, though She looked at Capricorn with concern walking to him and placing her hand in his shoulder. "I am deeply sorry. His dislike of walkers is pretty indiscriminate. And I do not think I can be the one to change his mind about something, specially given the last time I bailed on him ald got him captured." She goes to the rest of the team, checking if they are fine outside of being severely wet. "I do think, indeed, we must do something about our lack of team strategy." She looks at the team, a bit with concern, but also with somewhat of a critical eye. "I do not think it's excusable for me saying this, but he was my mentor and he knows my powers and abilities pretty well, as does my weaknesses, so he had the advantage in the battle."
  9. Okay, let's change that one, then. Actually, I changed the dragon head to mid range because the dragon head would give a wide flare, it's likely it has a short range, specially compared to than a plasma beam from a more rifle-like sword (and yes, I actually gave the sword the change to become a rifle, though must add the change is manual rather than automatic, as in it must be moved by the mecha). And honestly, I would give it a more wide range, as it basically has two short range weapons (sword and dragon head), then two attacks with a medium range (dragon head's flare and the ramming) and one with long range (sword rifle).
  10. Yeah, the idea of that line was to state how an outsider would see her. Once again, my brain had farted. Will fix that line. Uh huh... yeah, can't have a class of shut-ins, indeed. It would be nice to add something else to also fix that happiness thing (or at least the "ice queen warming up slightly" smile she's more likely to sport. Okay, I'll try making the ramming less intense. Yeah... I think I'll simplify the weapon a bit more. Specially, if there's something else used. I'll also change the weapon a bit more, to not have much of a matching combat style with other mechs.
  11. In order: I thought you wanted to keep a low number, a certain amount to not get overblown with too many characters to follow up. Yeah... I guess I went too far on the contrast thing. Way too far. And yes, you're right, the personality makes no sense and I'm at fault on that. Should had kept it simple. I never played Mass Effect, and only heard of it because of the ridiculous ending of Andromeda, so that was unintentional. That part totally escaped by my radar. Once again, my fault. I think I got too crazy with the deadline thing, specially because I was stuck in some parts of the biography. That was me throwing parallelisms, actually. I added them in the notes to... well, kinda explain without having to go too much by using Earth equivalents on the notes (Instead of English or Japanese, is Branish and Asarian). And yes, I'm checking again and I only mentioned English and Japanese in the notes. In any case, it's "space English" and "space Japanese". Because shortcuts. The missing letters is my lack of proof reading, as I didn't want the application to come out too late, so I rushed it. The knives thing... okay, I'll admit I don't even know where it came from. The 10 stories... well, given a Gundam is 6-7 stories tall and an Eva is three times that, I thought 10 was a reasonable size. But yeah, I will correct. I also wanted to ask questions in a discord, to get a more fluid feedback. You mentioned you were opening one, but you didn't post a link or anything to it.
  12. Uh... nevermind, then. I'll try and make it work better Based on a surreal Industrial Revolution AU.
  13. Question: Can we have a smaller mecha being the larger mecha's "cabin". As in, the small mecha is a cabin with legs and arms and fits the larger mecha's body. Can it be plausible?
  14. Amane approached Tomino High with her usual beaming smile. It was her first day wearing a highschool uniform and the first day of her in said highschool. She was ready to make friends and get her grades high... only for a certain flyer posted in the area to shove those priorities to the side momentarily. It seems a chance... no, a challenge formed in front of her. The Gunpla Club... the one thing that called her attention from this school, was open for new members. She smiled more deviously, then she looked at her bag and opened it. She had a red box with a black logo in the shape of a helmet. "The time had come, my dear creation... Destiny awaits us..." She closed her bag, gave a giggle and quickly ran into the place, changing her shoes and heading for her first day of class. Later that day, she was ready for this. Alone in a corner, she opened the box and there it was: held by the padded lining of the box, was a red gunpla with some strange features, like claw-like shin armor and claw decorations on the wings. It was weird, but it was a gunpla, with wings, a large rifle and a shield. It was also pretty big, likely due to the fact of it being a 1:100 MG model. She closed the box and headed to the room. She simply went in there with her usual beaming smile, while internally screaming for the chance of being in a club that liked her style. At least, she hoped so. Her brother was too traditionalist about making models, only focusing on the canon models, while she prefers to use stuff she modded. She was now in front of the club door. She took a deep breath and opened the door. "Hi~!" She was showing her beaming smile, while holding her boxed gunpla behind her back. "I come to join the club~!"

  16. BASICS Applicant: ZetaRESP Name: Millieme Marius Alias: Storm Siren Age: 21 ("born" March 3rd) Gender: Female Species: Human/Living Storm APPEARANCE Height/Weight: (normal) 5ft3/108 lbs. (1.60 m/49 kg.) Build/Complexion: Average build, skin appears pale. Hair: Her hair is dark silver and kind of frizzled like that of a storm cloud. Eyes: Dark gray, almost black, though they can be barely seen behind her glasses. Clothing: Uniform: A dark silver bodysuit with a discreet pattern (i.e. texturing) in the shape of clouds, light silver opera gloves and thigh high body fitting boots with the same discreet pattern, a tribal logo in light silver on her chest showing four tribal "streams" of elements (lightning, rain, wind and snow) in a cross formation inside a tribal cloud. Her hair is tied in a high tail and she sports a silver tiara on top with an onyx as the center stone. Casual: A dark red jumper on top of a black T-shirt with red and black sneakers. She wears a waist long black, straight wig to hide her hair color and she has somewhat thick glasses to make her eye color not be visible. Said glasses have a light graduation but she can still see perfectly without them due to how her body works. ABILITIES Powers: Storm Form: She can become a storm cloud being. This airborne form makes her immune to cold and rain, diseases and most physical attacks, though she can be blown away and energy attacks may still harm her. This form is partial humanoid when not restricted, as she instinctively forms a torso, arms and a head. Regeneration: Because of her strange anatomy, she can regenerate completely using the humidity in the air. This makes her actually unable to age. In fact, the only reason she looks like a grown up now is because she decided to grow from her "innocence"during her rising. Size Change: While she can't change her mass, she can change her size, being able to compress her body and even take take a human form the size of a small doll (3 3/4 in). She can also expand herself, but only as a cloud, being able to fill a 2400 ft3 (70 m3) space. Because of this, she can pass by any kind of opening, no matter how mall it is, making her near intangible. This, of course, makes her unable to pass though any airtight space and she can actually be stopped by an air filter and even be trapped if it's a multilayer filter. Storm Attacks: As she pretty much is a living storm, she can generate storms from her body: Thunderstorms, Blizzards, Hailstorms, Downpours and the like. She can also use the elements of each storm by herself when not in storm form, as a more localized attack. She looses energy when she uses her elements, leaving her as kind of a harmless mist if she keeps going too long. Enhanced Body: She has more stamina than any normal human, as well as advanced agility and reflexes, making her also good in hand to hand combat. Her storm form can move at speeds of up to 30 mph. Liquid Infusion: She can actually merge into any body of water, becoming invisible as well and even altering it with her powers. This has the risk of her being trapped if the liquid's congealed, but she's immune to the liquid being boiled. Equipment: Storm Cloth: Originally in the form of a toga in which she woke up on, it was altered into a bodysuit by Orm. It seems to be made of special molecules that are actually synchronize to her, behaving like if they were part of her own body. She can even use her regeneration to repair it if it gets damaged, though it's slower to do so than repairing her own body. Thunderstruck coin: A 1917 1 Millieme coin. This coin is more of a memento than anything, as she consider it the "seed of her birth". It's also the source of her first name. Atlantean Locket: A shell-shaped locket where she has a drawing she made of her "father" Ocean Master and her coin. PERSONALITY She a somewhat motherly attitude, mainly acting with concern respect of her teammates, and is... well, very, very nice. She loves children and she loves taking care of them, which explains why she became a daycare worker. She loves drawing, even though her style may be somewhat rough. She may seem content, but underneath that shell, she has a stormy turmoil. This stems mostly from her lack of identity, as everybody seems to agree she's no longer the human woman she used to be. In fact, nobody can't tell her who she is, where's she from, how old she is, which really affects her. Her somewhat inflected English is a very vague clue that she's probably British or maybe even Australian. She used to be desperate for answers, but given what happened the last time she tried to actively hunt for answers, she decided to try and live with her albeit foreign identity. Because of her development in the open and her raising, however, she has a bit of a "tough core", meaning she harbors a bit of resent against the "walkers", just like her "father". She is, however, just too nice to actively oppose them. HISTORY SAMPLE The building was full of smoke and one could hear the coughing people asking for help. Storm Siren entered the place in her heroic garbs, for once in a long time, and tried to scan the area. She could se the origin of the smoke and first saw a woman in the lobby at the edge of passing out. She dragged her outside and tried to see if she could breath, then shifted into a cloud and tried to push herself into her lungs to try and make her breath. She even made a small shock, which seemed to work as she's coughed off the body. She regenerates quickly and heads back inside, looking to see if the was anyone else inside.
  17. Okay, I'll reserve Storm Form or Storm Mimicry (both are somewhat synonyms). Will post soon.
