  1. Master Plan ”Today is the day.” Icarus rolled his shoulders, tilting his head back and forth and letting out a series of pops. Today was when the Rumble was set to begin, but as an extension of their shared philosophy, Prometheus informed him that he was on his own as far as reaching Olympus went. But Icarus wasn’t frustrated. He was excited. Peering through what appeared to be an antique telescope, Icarus watched a young woman battling a centaur. ”Timo of Tartarus…” It wasn’t easy to get here, within the house of Hades. Tough security, it had. But the challenge was what made it so worth it. Besides, it wasn’t the first time he had cheated death. Lifting a wing, he revealed from underneath it a large case. Now then, Timo of Tartarus. I hope you don’t mind if I share this ride with you.” He carefully undid the pair of latches that held it closed, smiling at the rifle within. It was needed for this kind of shot. From underneath his other wing, he revealed a set of complex geared rigging. He was lucky to inherit his father’s mechanical inclinations. It took a few minutes for him to get it set up properly, the machinery clearly intended to fire it after a timer went off. After carefully adjusting for windage and elevation, he peered through the scope, seeing it centered On a seemingly random point, but it was one carefully chosen by Icarus after a few days’ observation. “Perfect.” A few seconds after Hades returned to… Hades through his portal, Timo would notice a small rustling within her hair. However, before she had a chance to respond to it at all, a small bird emerged from her dark locks. It fluttered about a little, seemingly confused at its new environment. Then, miraculously, in a cloud of feathers and flames, it was replaced by a massive pair of white-feathered wings. They slowly opened, revealing Icarus crouched on the ground, wearing a devilish grin. ”Thanks, Timo of Tartarus.” Standing, he addressed the crowd. ”I am Icarus. Son of the inventor Daedalus, appointed by the Titan Prometheus. I am here to represent Humanity.”
  2. When she saw the teacher throw a ball of mist, something seemed to come loose in Natalia's mind. She tripped over herself, stumbling forward, and before she could catch herself with outstretched arms, they evaporated into puffs of smoke, dropping her face-first into the grass. With a visible struggle, Natalia managed to reconstitute one of her arms into a solid form, using it to push herself up enough to look upon Hemlock with rage, "WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU DO TO ME, YOU TOXIC LESBIAN WHORE??" "Oh that doesn't normally happen," Yuuka's usual smile being replaced with a look of curiosity. "I wonder...well, unforeseen things happen all the time on the field, though this is school so please do shout if it gets any worse." The girl smiled back to Natalia before looking back to the other students. The nonchalant response angered Natalia even further. She squeezed her eyes shut, trying to regain concentration and control over her quirk, but even then all she could see was Hemlock, ever-curious. Naturally, this did very little to calm her down, instead stoking the flames of her frustration. And where there’s fire… “Don’t mock me, bitch.” With a scream of rage, Natalia surged forward toward her opponent, turning her entire body, cloak included, into a cloud of her purple smoke. The cloud billowed around the pro hero, before Natalia’s body reconstituted itself behind her, her cloak draped over Hemlock’s face. Grabbing hold of the loose end, she pulled the fabric taut around her teacher’s head. “NOW, ASSHOLES!”
  3. Keep in mind I'll have a generic response for randoms.
  4. I mean, plenty of album covers invoke satanic imagery, but given full context I don't really think there is anything wrong with that. nice b8 m8, I r8 8/8
  5. Only format I think I'd be able to realistically play at a similar level to you is very specific limited environments.
  6. just one? Making stuff in physical media, I suppose. A while back I'd say mtg but fuckin radio's got me beat these days.
  7. My dilemma is that my enjoyment from video games largely comes from successful execution of skill checks, while also sucking a video games.

    1. cr47t

      cr47t

didnt get to see this in a timely manner, so i put it in the thread as a reply to the reply. sry. what i meant by "ghettoization" was a specific type of stigma that puts the whole thing in a box. maybe pigeonhole would be better word?

  9. Oh, I should probably mention that there is an NCM mtg discord group, if you want in just hit me up.

Even if you aren't very active, or only just picking up the game, you're welcome. Hell, faytl is in it and it's not like he's ever going to be posting on this site again, right?

  10. Not giving any context but like... Yo, fuck this.

  11. I'd have no hopes for this if not for Emma Stone.

    Your stats IRL

We'll go with the classic D&D stat spread, 54 point buy. How would you rate your capabilities on this scale? Make sure the total score between all six stats is 54. No modifiers tyvm.
  13. Great Days by Karen aoki. English, or Japanese, or both. Without a backtrack, if possible.
  14. Hol' up buddy, what do you mean unfortunately?
  15. Well, first anime I streamed was naruto, on the fuckin naruto website (which was mirroring funimation) before streaming was such a big deal. After that... Soul Eater? I saw the first episode on toonami, then binged it on funimation. First show I watched on crunchyroll was TTGL, which I ended up watching in a single sitting. What a transformative night. Then I went to see what other shows were popular on the site and watched the entire first season of sword art online. I got way too fuckin into it, read the gun gale light novel, and then five minutes into the first episode of gun gale, I went "wait a second... This is terrible." and never looked back. First anime I bought on blu-ray was Evangelion 1.11
  16. I just noticed you said you would need to forge something for the cosplay. No no no no no. Don't make large pieces out of metal. It will be unnecessarily heavy and expensive. A good alternative to metal is EVA foam, sculpted to shape and sprayed with rubberized coating (plasti-dip) and painted the desired color. Fiberglass and thermoplastics are also options, as is using aluminum tape.
  17. man I sure wish this wonder woman film had less action and more Chris Pine giggling at the 80s because this movie only seems to be able to do one of these two things well.

Jesus christ this movie was a mess

  18. OASIS would likely be made out of spandex, purchasing a suit in-color with a single eye-hole probably wouldn't be too difficult. Marks could be made on it with washable marker while wearing it to figure out the fitment for the detailing. For the stitching, I'd use thin rubber tubing, for comfort purposes. Anything else could dig into your skin pretty easily.
