I do think it's neat how in the ongoing Pandemic Arc, a lot of the character designs were mixed up, giving them shaggy hair and pajama pants.

Also, people please join the Halloween event. Yui and Blake have put a ton of thought and work into it, but the more participants we have, the better. This community's halloween events have been a huge part of bringing everyone together, so it is honestly kinda heartbreaking to see them either away like this.

Kinda want to do a pokeblog of ultra sun, but posted in the format of a third-person (or first-person?) narrative. Would anybody be interested in that? I've barely gotten to the second island in my previous playthrough, so most of the game would be a blind run for me.

Kinda wild that I'm popping off for a card I don't think I'll use any time soon that hoses my favorite archetype in the set, but that's where I am in life.

Realtalk, I think it is important to introduce a tangible reason to not run snow lands. There were cards before, like Freyalise's Radiance, but they weren't good because they only worked against snow. Reihane is a card I would use in appropriate decks even without the line about snow, so she gives snow basics an inherent downside to balance out all their inherent upsides.
Without her, many players would feel obligated to run snow basics rather normal basics, so as to cash in on these marginal upsides. Now these marginal upsides come with a marginal downside. This make using normal basics a deck building decision, rather than a deck building concession.
This further rewards and provides justification for people who particularly like using basics they have collected over the years. Because this card exists, I feel much more confident in my decision to use amonkhet islands in my Unesh deck, because the risk of reihane is greater than the benefit of scrying sheets, whereas my Gitrog deck uses snow-covered forests (and a snow-covered swamp) because it makes Into the North into a better rampant growth, that can also search for my dark depths.

Man why does this forum take a shit every time I try to do some nested spoilers. Is BBcode functioning as intended really too much to ask?

Allow me to be more clear. When using BBCode syntax ([§poiler]content[/§poiler]) in cases where a spoiler is nested more than once, the forum has an inexplicable habit of rearranging content, and even making a good deal of it disappear. I am aware that the in-forum spoiler button has no such issues, but I would prefer to use manual code, as most of my content is made in outside documents and pasted in immediately before posting. Because of this process, individually using the embedded spoiler button and pasting a document in several if not dozens of pieces would be quite a time sink and leave quite a bit of room for error, akin to having to manually go back and bold or italicize any text you wanted to be such, hoping you forget nothing.
I understand that most everyone else does not use code manually, but given it is a function that the forum is supposed to have, I don't think it is unreasonable to be upset about. The presence of stairs don't write away a broken elevator.
