  1. "Aye, that's me. What business do ye 'ave wiv me, miss?" Sienna respectfully bowed her head to the stone mason. "Uh... Yes sir... I come on behalf of Mr. Amas... I'm helping him to repair his house, but I'm not exactly good with uh... Repairing a chimney." She explained as she took out the furs that Amas gave her. "He needs stone and lime... And uh... Said that these would cover the cost." She set the furs on the counter and backed up a bit. "If the furs are enough, I have a wheelbarrow for the stone." She said pointing behind her. Hopefully Amas's word and furs were enough, Sienna didn't want to be the one to come back empty-handed. Her ears twitched just thinking about it.
  2. Eventually, Sienna had finally finished cleaning up the small hut. She breathed a sigh of content as she admired her handy work. Amas seemed to be happy too, but there was still the matter of his chimney and bow. Amas had assured her that the bow problem was fine, as he was apparently carving up a new one. The chimney was really the main issue. "Tell ya what. Here," he handed Sienna a few furs. "If it helps, these aren't fox pelts. See, that's rabbit," he pointed at a gray one, "that's beaver," he pointed to a brown one, "and that's pine marten," he pointed at a darker brown one. "That should be enough for some stones and some lime. See if'n you can get some from Theusido. He's the local quarrier, supplier o' rocks and stuff. He'll be over thataway," he waved toward the other end of the square. "Over there's where all the shops are. The ones that ain't stalls, anyway. Theusido's probably busy, but if ya tell him Amas sent ya, it should be fine. I'd go meself, but I want to get this bow done afore dark," Sienna nodded her head as she tucked the furs under her arm. "Remember, we need chimney stone and lime. Tell him exactly that. 'Bout five pounds worth maybe. Oh, here," the hunter pushed a small wheelbarrow over. "If ye can't carry it all, just put them in here. Git going then," Sienna nodded and left the man to finish his bow. She had only just entered the square when she heard something following her. She looked to see that it was Icleias was following behind her, nose still sniffing her scent. She tilted her head and watched the little puppy for a minute before shrugging and continuing on her way. Curious little dog. She soon arrived at the quarrier shop and entered it. "Uh... Excuse me? I'm here about Amas's chimney? It uh... Needs lime and stone for repairs." She said, adjusting the furs under her arm.
  3. It seemed that Sienna's attempts at finding something to do to help out the villagers wasn't going so well. No matter who she went to, the villagers all turned her down. She let out a quiet sigh as she continued to wander the village, while she found it understandable why they would avoid her, it still didn't make much sense to her. She was one of the people who saved them from living their lives as animals, why were they still so intent on avoiding contact with her? She crossed her arms in thought and walked to one more house, if she couldn't make herself useful to at least one person she was just gonna head back to the group. As she approached the old man sitting outside, his puppy ran up to her and barked at her. "No, Icleias, that isn't a fox, just a fox person," the old man said. The pup, Icleias, bounded back toward his owner. Sienna couldn't help but giggle at the little dog. "You want to help out? Sure. My home's a bit of a mess right now after Icleias here started going wild as a human. Guess some of yer friends came over and he got excited. Even got my chimney banged up for some reason. Name's Amas. I'm a hunter. I'm usually the one who supplies the meat 'round here. The stuff that ain't livestock, that is." Sienna nodded her head along as the man spoke, so he supplied the village with food. Interesting how the humans only had one person to take care of the hunting. Back at her village, Sienna would usually see several hunters at once, this Amas must be a very skilled one. "go on, git a move on." Shaking herself back to reality, she quickly bowed her head and headed into the man's home. It was a modest little hut, and to say it was a mess was an understatement. A cracked chimney, food scattered around a knocked over table, clothes and blankets scattered about the place, and a washbasin that had spilled and soaked the floor. Sienna also picked up a shortbow that had been cracked in half. She quietly sighed to herself and looked around the hut, to the chimney, and back to the bow. She would have an easy enough time cleaning, but the bow and the chimney were a little bit out of the question. Maybe she could find something to tie the bow back together? She shook her head, she would have to think on that later, right now she could attend to what was simpler. She put the broken bow down and went to prop the table back up. As she did, she could hear a commotion coming from outside. She looked up for a moment and shrugged, might've just been the villagers still coming to terms with their situation. None of her business at the moment, she had a job to do.
  4. Sienna's ears twitched as she looked around. She could feel as if someone was giving her a nasty look. The villagers were all back to normal, yet they still treated her and the group as outsiders. Understandable really, especially for her considering that she wasn't even human. Still, why couldn't some of the villagers see that the group meant no harm to them? They were the ones that broke the curse in the first place. Sienna shrugged and let out a quiet sigh. Maybe she was overthinking things. With all that has happened, she needed some time to unwind a bit. So she decided now was a good time to wander the village, maybe see if anyone needed some help fixing things up. Hopefully in doing so, she could figure out where Licorice could've possibly run off to. She'd be lying if she said she wasn't worried about her fellow fox, especially after that panic attack she seemed to go through before running out of the church.

  6. Sofia watched as her drone shot at the crowd, relighting the cigarette she had meant to smoke before this crap happened. She leaned on the wall next to her dispenser and watched as some more chaos seem to break out in the crowd as another hippie killed one of his own, though Sofia knew better. What was his name? Amara? The group's local spy, seemed to have joined the fray. As the hippies in the area seemed to disperse a bit, she looked to her side to see Amara refilling his ammo. "So, I think I've got a good idea for your buildings. I always wondered about making Sapper resistant buildings. Not an engineer myself, but how possible would that be?" The idea struck her in the head and Sofia went into her usual thinking state, which from outside looked like she was just staring off into space. "Possible..." She answered him as a mental blueprint started being drawn in her head. However, it was interrupted by her other comrade yelling at her. "Hey! Why aren't you taking this seriously!? For your sake, I'm gonna clean up your mess!" That man was nuts... A bit of an understatement but it works. There honestly more important things he should've been focusing this explosive temper towards than normal hippies. Sofia just sighed, at least he didn't shoot a rocket at her out of spite. She never understood how someone was so willing to kill civilians. Oh well... Sofia finished her cigarette and flicked it away before calling back her drone, the hippies were running back to where they came from, so there was no need in chasing.
  7. "All mercenaries. Mr. Hale has ordered for you to disperse the protest happening outside the building. Lethal force is authorised. After you're finished, please report to Mr. Hale's office for your next assignment." Sofia had just lit a cigarette when she heard the announcement. She looked over at the crowd of hippies protesting by the gate and let out a sigh. "Dummkopfs... Of all days..." She put the cigarette out and put it into her pocket for later before getting her toolbox out. She had just gotten her drone out before Claude had jumped in and started blowing up the crowd. She sighed again and programmed her drone to "persuade" the crowd to leave as she started building up a dispenser. "Fool's gonna need ammo if he wants to blow them all up..." She mumbled to herself. The drone readied its guns and floated over to the crowd before firing at them. No lethal shots of course, Sofia might have been a mercenary but she didn't feel the need to kill civilians. No... If anything she wasn't needed to kill, not with a crazed American with rockets on the brain blowing everybody up. She was just thankful he wasn't crazy enough to blow his own team up.
  8. Watching the villagers reorient themselves back to living as humans was interesting and quite honestly funny to watch. It seemed like they were so used to being animals that they had almost forgotten how to act human. "Should we...head back in? And see if everyone has decided what to do next?" She sighed as she stood up from her crouching position. As much as she wanted to learn how this truly happened, everyone needed to regroup and recover from this. "Yeah... Let's head back." She said as she walked back to the church. Maybe she could study this whole situation with the princesses? She'd be lying if she said she wasn't curious about all this, humans turning into animals. She needed to get her mind off things anyway.
  9. Real Name: Sofia Arendt Class Name: Engineer Nationality: German Gender: Female Age: 23 Appearance: 5 feet, 6 inches tall. Long red hair kept in a braid. A pair of goggles strapped around her head, covering her eyes when working. An open jacket, covering a white, oil stained t-shirt. Torn, blue jeans. Hard leather work boots and leather work gloves. Personality: A relatively quiet lady, Sofia would rather let her actions speak for her. When she does talk, she only ever really talks in a single sentence, and when asked a question, only ever answers with one word. Despite appearing calm and collected, she has a tendency to become violent when stressed, particular when her machines are destroyed. She tends to smoke when stressed, in which case she goes back to her usual placid self. Brief Bio: A self proclaimed tech genius and a runaway from home for undisclosed reasons, Sofia is a tough young woman. She never could understand the appeal of a stationary defense system, so she developed her own means for a defense, a drone system. They may lack the true stopping power of a turret, but as she says to anyone who asks, "Drones are better..." She's an unorthodox kind of engineer, but when it comes to fighting killer robots with killer robots, crazy and/or unique mercenaries are what you need. Primary Weapon: Shotgun Secondary: Pistol Melee: Hammer Any class specific items: Construction/Deconstruction PDAs Constructs - Dispenser - Teleporter - Gunner Drone - Recon Drone (Drones are subject to change based on host decisions) Gunner Drone: A bot that attacks autonomously. It starts with a simple rate of fire gun, but at the max upgrade, it gains a three-round burst gun. When built, it can be set on a short patrol path. When close to the Engineer, the drone gains a small defense and offense boost. Recon Drone: A bot made for reconnaissance and sabotage. Unlike the Gunner Drone, this drone can be remotely controlled. While active, it can reveal cloaked and disguised enemies within a small radius. At it's final upgrade, the Recon Drone can hack and take control of an enemy bot or machine. Hacked bots cannot be targeted by other bots, but cannot be healed by medic bots. The drone cannot hack giant bots, bots with the bomb, or tanks. Hacked bots self destruct after a short time.
  10. A tf2 rp? Ok, that has my interest just from the concept alone xD
  11. Sienna looked around frantically from the entrance, looking for any sign of where Licorice might have run off to, but to no avail. Wherever her fellow fox went, she was long gone. Her ears flattened out of sadness and confusion, why would Licorice just run away like that? She crouched to the ground and just thought things over about what she was going on about before she ran off, before snapping back to reality as the mayor was addressing her. "Again, thank you so much for helping us out earlier. I will tell the villagers to keep a lookout for this...Licorice, was it?" he nodded. "Yes, do not worry. I'm sure we shall find her." She just sighed and nodded her head as the mayor walked off. The clanking of armor behind her made her turn to see Gunther approaching her too. "Erm, Miss Sienna. I wanted to...That is, I'm sorry. I was at the door but I didn't stop her from leaving. I do not know where she had gone, only that she was in an almost...frenzy to leave." He gave a bow. "I should have tried to keep her in my sight. It's my fault she's missing now." Sienna looked at the Knight and then back to the ground. "It... It's fine Gunther... I'm not sure anyone was prepared for how she reacted to that living statue... I certainly wasn't..." She said quietly. "However I'm sure she'll be fine once she's...calmed down." Maybe... Maybe things would be fine, but Sienna couldn't help but worry. What if Licorice had run away for good? What if she just abandoned everyone and had run back all the way to the village? The sight of the villagers here wasn't helping the thought, their attempts of getting back to their human ways, it reminded Sienna of those lazy days in the village. Sitting in the shade, reading a book, watching the villagers go about their day in peace. Maybe... Maybe this whole quest was too much for even Licorice. But what did that mean for Sienna? The outside world was clearly no place for her kind, a people who have not seen the outside of their forest before. Looking back on it all, Sienna thought about what would have happened if she had just stayed home. Maybe she could've stopped that whole feud with the frogs. Maybe... Things would have been different... But then, she wouldn't have made these nice travel companions. These thoughts continued to run through her head as she remained crouched on the ground, her tail swaying curiously as she watched the villagers fumble around.
  12. It didn't seem real at first, but the sight of the hideous stone creature freezing back into a normal, lifeless statue was so relieving. Sienna let out a content sigh and looked around at the others, despite being one enemy, it really took its toll on everyone. But the sudden bright flash from the statue did catch her unaware, especially the mysterious voice that followed. "You took much longer than I expected to deal with a mere imitation. Still, I will grant you this small victory." As the light faded and the group was able to open their eyes once more, the voice spoke again. "Do not think that this is the end. I am sure we shall meet again, Dragon seekers." The feeling in her legs came back seconds later, and she immediately transformed back to her humanoid state. Dragon seekers? Was this the voice of that evil goddess the princesses talked about. The fur on Sienna's tail stood on end, that voice, whoever it was, gave her the chills. Her attention was brought back to the present as she looked to the three "new" faces in the room. The animals that had been following them had returned to being human. The mayor and the guard seemed relieved to be out of their predicament, but the third human had seemingly ran off, possibly out of fright of everything that happened. Who knows? Sienna put her beaststone back into her bag and noticed Shiro come back inside a few moments later with Ciela in his arms. Why was she outside, unconscious for that matter? "I couldn't find Licorice." Those four words made her freeze. It suddenly dawned on Sienna why Ciela was like that. She tried to stop Licorice but... Where was she? Without a second thought, she ran outside with a worried look on her face. "Licorice!" She called out after running out. Why was she acting like this? The Licorice she knew was never like this, she wouldn't run away leaving her comrades behind to fend for themselves. What was with all this odd behavior?
  13. This sounds very interesting. Gives me a post-apocalyptic vibe where if the signers lost to the immortals. Count me in.
  14. On the old card maker site, we played a little game where we would come up with summoning quotes for monster cards. It was simple really, the first person would make the summon quote for a monster and would name a monster for the next person to make a summon quote for, then that person will name off a monster for the next person, and so on. It was a nice little way to pass the time and the quotes were both cool and clever. You can name off any monster too, it can be something grand like Blue-Eyes Chaos MAX Dragon or something small like Celtic Guardian. All monsters are welcome. Ex: The heavens roar and the earth shakes. By the powers of chaos, grant this monster new and thunderous powers. Descend onto the battlefield and let my foes fear your might. Fusion Summon! Thunder Dragon Titan! The Dark Magicians See? Simple. I hope you all will give it a try. I'm eager to see what quotes you'll come up with.
  15. This was getting irritating at this point, the statues head was such a mess of fragments that it was becoming impossible to hit the symbol on it. Her fireball had completely missed her mark, and now the creature was attacking Citron and her wyvern. It wasn't done yet as it proceeded to lash out with it's tail again. Sienna could barely dodge at this point, and while she did manage to jump away, the tendril still got another of her legs. With a painful yelp, Sienna fell to the ground, any attempts to get up just resulted in her falling over as a front and back leg were both numb beyond all belief. Panic was starting to set in her mind, if that creature made another attack she was done for. She couldn't even imagine what would happen if that thing landed a hit on her head or body. She looked around frantically, looking for someone that could help her, but then her ears perked up to the sound of a painful roar from the statue. Looking over, she noticed that the statue started to fall as the blue energy around it faded away for a brief moment, before reigniting and landing. It looked like it was in pain as it went back into the air and turned it's attention to the back room. Sienna's eyes then lit up, the fragment with the symbol on it was off the creature and laying on the ground exposed. She mustered what strength she could to hold herself up and threw a fireball at it. (Please work!) She thought.
  16. Sienna growled out of frustration, this living statue was constantly moving around, evading the attacks that we're meant for the sigil on it's back. The statue then attacked again, aiming for her and Shiro. This attack was particularly fast and even though she jumped to dodge the tendril, it still managed to scrape her front leg. Sienna let out a whimper as her leg went numb from the attack. This was bad, now she was more likely to lose her footing if she were to keep dodging the statue, and if she did, the statue's tendril would definitely do more than scrape her. She gritted her teeth and prepared another fireball. Her ears twitched and her attention was taken from the statue for brief moment as she noticed unfamiliar magic welling up. A strange man had joined the fray, and he was casting a dark spell, but on the statue. A new ally? Or simply someone posing as one? Sienna shook her head and aimed back at the statue, if that man was fighting with them she had to ignore him for now and focus on the true threat. She finished preparing a fireball and sent it flying towards the statue's head
  17. Catriona, Alois, and Edrick's attack on the creature could've ended better, way better in fact. The statue obviously knew to protect the mark on it's back, that or it just wasn't about to get attacked from behind. Either way, the attack left it's head even more split apart, as it roared and shook the ground around it. Sienna had to grip the floor just to keep from tumbling over from the force of the creature. This thing was honestly starting to tick her off. "One of you two get ready to hit the opposite. Eddy! Get ready to stab it in the face. You heard the princess, we've got one small target to hit, and if it wants to move all around then we'll just have to hit it from every angle we can." Sienna turned to Alois who was directed this towards her and Shiro. She nodded her head and dodged to the side, barely dodging the glowing tendril of the statue. She prepared another fireball and moved to the right of the creature. "Ready when you are!" She said as she aimed for the creature.
  18. Sienna growled in annoyance as the fireball she had launched had no effect on the creature. She was mentally facepalming herself, of course fire wouldn't work, it's a statue! Thankfully, her companions were more fortunate. Having tripped the creature, causing it's body to crack from the fall, Cora had widened the cracks, causing the creature's head to split in two. It didn't fall apart though, and the creepy blue light flowing through it's body started to glow brighter and brighter, until Sienna couldn't bare to look at it anymore. Then suddenly, she was blown away by some force. Shaking her head and coming to her senses, she looked around to see that the light had hit everyone that was by the creature. "Is everyone ok?" Sienna asked as she got to her feet. The creature seemed enraged, and a glowing appendage had extended from it's tail. The eerie, new weapon wasted no time and had quickly attacked Catriona, knocking her to the floor. The tail then started swinging towards the group. "Watch out!" she warned. "If you get hit by that, you'll lose all feeling in that limb." Catriona's warning alerted Sienna immediately and she quickly jumped over and out of the way of the attack. She stood away and tried to come up with a plan. Maybe if the others could distract the creature enough, ranged attacks could hit the creature in the back? As long as the symbol was damaged in some way, they might have a chance. "Tsetseg! Follow me! Someone distract that beast!" She said as she darted to the side.
  19. Sienna paused for a moment, the creature's sudden interest over her was odd to say the least. The pause didn't last long though as the creature let out another screech as it proceeded to contend with it's opponent's. Sienna jumped back a bit to gain some distance and conjured some fireballs around her. The creature was flying seemingly effortlessly despite it's stoney appearance, and with her allies in the middle of fighting it, Sienna had to aim her shots well. Her attention was caught again, however, as Citron's wyvern, Peaches, had bursted into the building, screeching along the way. The tides may have turned now, someone who could fly would be very useful for fighting the stone creature. Sienna shook her head, now wasn't the time to think, she had to help those who were currently in combat. She took aim with a fireball and shot it at the creature.
  20. Sienna eyed Edrick and Shiro as they started interacting with the statue, well... More like Edrick was interacting with it and Shiro was climbing all over it. Then, as if in response, the statue literally started to hum to life, vibrations echoing throughout the entire building. "W-wha... What is happening!?" Sienna had to crouch to keep her balance. She then noticed Licorice bolt out of the room, a look of fear visible on her face. "Uh, Licorice? Wait!" Sienna took off after her for a split second before hearing a loud crunch. She stopped in her tracks and turned around to see the large statue... MOVING!? The stone creature shook the dust off it and had immediately turned it's attention to Edrick, letting out a loud roar at him. Link had rushed towards the creature in an instant, more than likely trying to grab it's attention from Edrick. Following Licorice wasn't the priority anymore, Sienna grabbed her fire stone and transformed. "Things just went from bad to worse..." She mumbled as she bared her fangs at the living statue.
  21. The sound of shifting stone caught Sienna's attention, the stone at the top of the ladder was actually moving as Tsetseg fiddled with it. So it was a trap door after all, no puzzle required. Sienna was the last to actually go up the ladder as she was a bit behind everyone, but was equally surprised as everyone else was when she made it up the ladder. An altar of some sort stood before the group, some kind of chapel with large, extravagant reptilian statues placed around the place. Or... More specifically, dragon statues. Was this a shrine to this Great Dragon the princesses were talking about, or something else entirely? Either way, Sienna couldn't shake an eerie feeling she was getting from this place, it was making the fur on her tail stand on end. Looking back at the humans turned animals, they seemed to have taken a more wary stance. Staring down Edrick and Ciela, odd... Very odd... Sienna backed off toward Edrick, not taking her eye off the strange emerald statue. "This... Is really strange... A building like this being in a small village." She said. It wasn't directly said to Edrick, but it was enough for him to overhear her comment.
  22. Sienna gave a small smile, seeing Licorice and Shiro apologize to eachother gave her a little hope for the two. This bad blood between the frogs and foxes could last a while, but however small it was, this was progress. "Let us head for the basement, and see if Alois has discovered aught of import." Catriona said. Sienna's ears twitched curiously, did Alois figure out that puzzle down in the tunnel? Only one way to find out. She followed everyone back down into the tunnel, which was admittedly a little cramped now with everyone there, thank goodness that wyvern wasn't with them. Down at the now opened door, Sienna looked over at the panels from before. "Drako." So that was the passcode. Looking inside, it seemed like just another dead end. Another panel for a passcode was on the wall and a latter leading into the ceiling we're all that was there. Tsetseg was the first to climb the ladder to see if the top was a trap door. "By Inari... How much security can one simple building need?" Sienna said, scratching her head out of confusion.
  23. "This is yet another failing of living in isolated villages like we do," the fox shook her head. "We become complacent, and unaware of matters to which we should take heed." She glanced at Shiro. "Link is right. That 'necklace' as you call it is much more than a necklace. It is a holy symbol, worn only by those devoted to the goddess Inera, revered on a level far beyond how you frogs feel about your Frog Sage. There are many names for Her, such as the Lady of Life and Death, the Two-Faced Goddess, the Raven Queen, and many more. Surely even you must have heard of her." "No. I like to learn about other kinds of things. Like reality," Shiro shot back sharply. "J-just stop, you two!" Sienna said in a rather loud tone. "We... We shouldn't be fighting amongst ourselves... Not now..." She stated. The memory of her tribe and the frogs nearly waging war against each other still lingered in her mind, and now wasn't the time to be poking at those wounds. It did peak her interest though when Licorice started naming off the multitude of names this Goddess had, how did she know those names? But her mind was taken when Edrick finally started voicing his opinion on everyone's suspicions of him, saying that the necklace was simply for magical protection. Sienna sighed and held her tail as she sat down. There didn't seem to be anything else she could say on the matter. She occasionally glanced at Licorice, curious about her knowledge on the Goddess.
  24. "I-er that is. Um." The resident of the town stuttered. "I am willing...to give y'all the benefit of the doubt but..." She cast her glance towards Edrick. "I can't abide him roaming about this town as he likes. Not when he's got...that thing with him." "Perhaps when we go to the town hall, or wherever it is we're supposed to go from here, Edrick should...stay behind." Gunther suggested. Sienna couldn't believe what she was hearing, was everyone really going against Edrick? This didn't seem right, sure Edrick was a follower of the Goddess, but he was still their ally. Why would they cast so much suspicion towards him now of all times? "Wait, hang on," Shiro spoke up. "So to make sure I understand correctly, the two of you are willing to let three inhumans with the power to change into giant animals and a man who enter houses through the rooftops to search this village, but not one normal and capable man because of a necklace?" This really didn't make sense into him. "I thought we were trying to save everyone here from a horrible fate in the least amount of time possible. We know nothing about this curse, for all we know, it could become permanent if left alone for too long," He paused, glancing at the princess duo. "And you're both willing to place more duties on the two princesses and expose them to potential danger because, and I empathize, of a necklace?" He turned back to the group. "If this is some sort of human joke, then I don't get it," Shiro pretty much summed it up for her, the princesses aside, Edrick has done nothing to them, just show that he followed the teachings of the Goddess. Sienna looked down nervously. "Uh... I agree with Shiro... Now isn't the time to be casting suspicion amongst ourselves... Edrick has done nothing to cause all this suspicion..." She said. Her tail flicked around as she scratched her head. "Plus... He isn't our concern... It's figuring out this curse and this letter riddle..."
