  1. Yeah, apart from the "UK:" tag, it's just the same. On another note, speaking of Kalos, I'd like to see a Wikstrom cameo in this game, and it'd be a crime to not have Honedge in the regional dex.
  2. Yeah definitely. I just hope we get XY-levels of character customisation in SwSh, but with its personal style.
  3. I also wonder what character customisation will be like as well, and I do agree about the female trainer, I do like her design more than the male personally.
  4. I got Bunnelby-vibes from the fire starter tbph. I'm leaning towards Sobble atm, but Grookey is growing on me as well. extended thoughts The art style, certainly looks beautiful, and I'm not saying that because it's a UK-based region, it actually does look good, they certainly look to be pulling all the stops. From what I've seen from the trailer, it does look like a mix between S/M and Let's Go, which I think is a good idea. Let's Go tested the waters for what the Switch games can do and I hope these games deliver. I did enjoy the battle on a football pitch and the trainer donning a jersey and walking onto the pitch, though the one negative for me is the male character's bag, I just don't like how it looks tbph.
  5. I think it's football/soccer because we saw Lucario and Tyranitar battling on such a pitch in the trailer, and it makes sense given the sport is popular in the UK.
  6. There are two versions of the same video on the official YT channel which is completely redundant given the simultaneous release. ORAS was fine to have two versions given it came out in Europe a week later. Sun/Moon also had a later release in Europe, which again made having two vids fine
  7. I'm liking the looks of Sobble tbph.

  8. Pokemon direct tomorrow (22hr 15mins from this status posting)

  9. Spell/Quick-Play When your opponent activates a Spell/Trap Card or monster effect that would destroy a monster(s) on the field (except during the Damage Step): Pay 1500 LP; negate the activation, and if you do, destroy it. So the official OCG database has updated the rulings page for MBiaS explaining that it can be used during the damage step (Note: this update came from duel links), however the TCG database still lists this restriction, so until there's an update for TCG, it is to be played as written. Why this is important however is because the recently released Altergeist Protocol has an effect that can be used during the damage step, so between that and the ruling update for MBiaS may mean we could get future Spell/Traps that have effects that negate activations and can be used in the damage step.
  10. Gotta give it to TTYD. Whilst the mechanics and graphics of Twilight Princess were pretty cool, I enjoyed the story, music and characters of TTYD more.
  11. Played bot, watched both, but I'm going to give my vote to Sunshine as I have completed it unlike Wind Waker. (I need to get around to at some point)
  12. I've said before that Sunshine isn't the strongest title in the world, but it has its charms, much like TTYD which has good music, characters, etc and despite being a turn-based RPG, it remains one of my favourite Mario titles, so that is where my vote is going.
  13. I really need to get around to beating both of these games, but I enjoyed the artstyle of TP more than Wind Waker so that is where my vote is going.
  14. I can't see why this wouldn't get an international release, but yeah, I'd rather have had a new Tag Force game as well.
  15. Well then, Lunalights won the ycs, blimey.

  16. Metroid Prime 4's development has had to be restarted, but they brought back Retro Studios to work on it.

They ever announce Metroid 5, the universe will collapse under the weight of joy.

"A delayed game is eventually good, but a rushed game is forever bad."

The delay sucks, yeah, but Retro did the first three so I trust them way more to do the fourth. I think my excitement outweighs my disappointment.

  17. Voting for Path of Radiance, even though I only played it for a week (as I was borrowing it back in 2009), I got a good feel for the gameplay of Fire Emblem (also it features one of my Smash mains).
  18. Voting for Kirby. Whilst I haven't played either game, I know that Kirby has a nice soundtrack and from what I've seen, the gameplay is simple enough.
