The site does cost money each month to upkeep. I don't sell any data, nor do I run any ads - any support you can give to help with the upkeep of things would be greatly appreciated.

There is no max goal for this donation, nor and end point. The rough costs for the site are around 40/50 GBP each month give or take 10 either side depending on the month, there are periods at the start of the year where this does increase significantly due to renewals for the domain and SSL certificates that this site runs off.

The site will remain active and online for as long as I can maintain it. I'm not struggling financially (at least as much as some!) and can maintain this regardless.

    • It was always great when someone with a knack for it could pick up what she was laying down-- And Anna had taken to what Dahlia had instructed like a skrelp to water. Of course, it helped that the chatty-guy self-incriminated; or given enough of a reason to blame him, when he confirmed that he abandoned her. Dahlia didn’t have to talk, or comment on that; merely clicking her tongue in a disapproving manner as he confirmed it, and with a slight shrug going. “Oh, and I thought better of him,” quietly enough so as to be heard, but not so loud as to spark a conversation, as everyone kept moving. It was always a good thing to reinforce who was supposed to be in the right, when trying to change a group’s opinion in your favor; and it wasn’t as if the chaos this could bring wasn’t more than interesting enough for her to try and sway public opinion here. Still, that was all for that as one by one everyone entered into the darkness of the warehouse, and as Dahlia smoothly side-stepped the collapsing form of the human-translation machine. Of course, things didn’t get any more normal either, as they stepped inside (and as she closed her umbrella, and leaned it against the warehouse wall), what with her newest prospective protégé talking to figures that no one else could see, and… The chatty-guy, who introduced himself as Nikolaos, pulling out a stupidly-high-powered flashlight. A hiss escaped Dahlia’s mouth as Nikolaos was illuminated by the light, and the fact that Anna had been talking to something, and promised not to disturb it, came to mind. She let the others who were prone to introduce themselves; the grumpy-looking-guy was apparently called Shawn, and already had a Pokémon… Who was way, way more chilled out than she could ever see him being. And code-talker had a name too-- Chigusa, and a few other nicknames like Chi or Aki.  It was only after those two finished, and a lull set in for a moment, a singular moment, that Dahlia took a step forwards and extended a hand towards Nikolaos, though, she wasn’t sure if he could see her. “Careful there,” she began, twisting her wrist lightly as she turned a gesture of greeting into an accusatory point towards that light of his. “IIII’d probably turn that off, if I were you. We’re in an awful dark place, and-- Well, I don’t know about you, but I like having my corneas-- So let's maybe cool it with the miniature sun, m'kay?” she paused for a moment, bringing her hand back up to her mouth, as she smiled mischievously, tapping idly at her chin. “...And also, wasn't Ms. Anna talking to someone just a moment ago, and promising not to disturb them? Y’know, you’ve caused an awful lot of trouble for her-- It'd be rather rude for you to cause even more after she got lost because of you, wouldn't it? And isn't that a truly terrible way to start a journey? Causing trouble for a potential friend not once, but twice? It’s bad form to break someone else’s promises, after all,” her voice dipped slightly, taking an almost disappointed tone as she clicked her tongue, and gave him a thumbs down, before turning away from him rather suddenly; towards the rest of the group (or at least, where she expected them to be). “...But that’s enough chastising for now, don’t you think?” she closed one eye as she stared lazily through them all, waiting for the occasional lightning-strike to tell her where they were again. “My name is Dahlia-- Dahlia King. I’m a street magician from Kalos, though, I came here while practicing my trade in Unova,” she explained, planting one hand on her hip as she gestured habitually with the other, a coin rolling from one finger to the other, illuminated only by the constant, near-rhythmic lightning strikes outside. “Gotta say, so far, this place’s beaten Unova in excitement when it comes to welcomes,” she paused, timing a flourish so that she flipped the coin during one lightning-strike, and caught it just as she was illuminated by the next. It was always good to use your environment to your advantage when making an impression, after all.

    • Of all the encounters she expected down here seeing Bard casually appear like that was not one of them. It was actually somewhat of a surprise which made Thessa grin. Surprises were always so nice to get especially when everything down here so far hasn't done much for her. “At least, I don’t think you do. It always gets fuzzy involving you people, but that’s where I’m at right now. Maybe it doesn’t matter.” After giving her information he tacked on that little tidbit. Thessa shrugged. "Well didn't intend to, don't really like to kill things and all. But hey there. What were you just taking a nap in this place all this while?" Bard gave a weak smile. "It's weird that I'm here, I know, but this is where my power needs me to be. I'm the one that leads you to Caesar, so here I am." "Nice. Anyone ever tell you you're basically a quest giving video game NPC? Anyway...ah, one sec." She suddenly remembered that she had gotten a call over the walkie and brought it up to respond. "Yeah I'm with Bard, looks like I'm right outside Caesar's hiding place gonna go bust in now see ya in a bit." Without a hint of irony or sarcasm, Bard said, "No, that's the first time somebody has said that. I can lead them to you also, so they won't get too lost down here." At first Thessa wasn't sure what he meant until he gestured at the walkie in her hand. With a laugh she put it away and replied, "uh, sure why not. This'll be over before they get here I bet." “There are two non-combatants and three Gibbons in there,” Bard said. “Technically four, but I don’t think Morana’s body will be doing much of anything while they’re still fighting elsewhere in the building or keeping Project Rubicon from falling apart. Ebony’s the one with the darkness in most of the building, and then you haven’t seen Dvno yet, but you should be able to handle that too, especially since Caesar’s there and he can’t exactly turn his power off.” "Wow yeah it'll be over before you know it then. Guess no point wasting time out here." The door in question was just a simple push door that had been barred. She walked up to it and kicked the door, snapping the bar in two with ease, and busting into the room. The lights here were normal which caught Thessa for the smallest moment off guard as she got used to being in light again. The room appeared to be some sort of lab. Caesar was at the far end of the room. He was holding some sort of controller in his hand while berating a couple of people who appeared to be the classic sciencey lab tech nerds next to him. A woman with a bleeding nose but otherwise seemed simply unconscious lay on a lab table. She guessed this would be Morana. On the other side of Caesar as the lab techs was a man with some sort of robotic helmet, presumably DVNO, and on Thessa's right was a woman who was preparing herself to pounce. She heard DVNO call out "Stop" and she watched as golden letters came out of a hole in their mask and hit the door. As soon as it did the door fell to the ground. Thessa stepped inside, waved, and said. "Yo. I guess I'm here to drag Caesar outside I didn't actually decide what to do with him yet." She really should have figured that out first but as long as she had Caesar she could make up her mind after. One of the scientists, the one further from Caesar, said, "Going outside might be good for us. It would get us a stronger connection. We wouldn't have to overwork Morana to keep control of -" "Be quiet," Caesar growled. "I thought I told you, I'm through with doing anything for anyone else. The world is ending. You should want the same for yourself." Thessa frowned. "Came all this way and this is the welcome I get, kids these days." She shook her head and moved across the room towards Caesar. The lights suddenly went out. The girl in the corner's work, most likely. She heard DVNO's voice again, this time saying "Close" and this was followed by the scrapping of tables on either side of her coming closer. Thessa wasted no time dashing forward and aiming a kick at where DVNO had been. Unfortunately even with her speed she didn't move instantly and they had moved just a bit in the darkness. Still she felt her foot clip against his side and it was clear he was hurt from the contact by the way he sputtered out "Up". There was a couple thuds which made a sound Thessa was familiar with, two bodies hitting the ceiling, and Thessa had to assume Caesar was pulled either up there or had otherwise moved. She'd need to work fast to make sure he didn't run off. She could have continued to blindly search but she decided to get the lights back first. She went towards the corner where she last saw Ebony and, on the way, scooped up the only source of light in the room. The controller that Caesar had been holding. Which, she noticed, was distressingly warm to the touch. On her way to the corner she noticed movement and someone, probably Ebony, appeared behind her and tried to sweep Thessa's legs. Thessa took the hit and as Ebony's attack landed it...did absolutely nothing. Thessa didn't budge at all as the other woman's leg hit her right in the knee. Thessa reached down and grabbed the girl by the ankle. "Probably shoulda just kept hiding, this isn't gonna be pleasant for you." She then proceeded to swing the girl into the nearest wall with incredible force.
