Burning them wouldn't be a problem. Just tell them that their decomposing flesh makes them look fat. HEYOOOO! (...and then just burn them with actual fire and stare at the flames consuming their being with nature's purest form of cleansing.)

Rei waited with bated breath, the moment these lifeforms appeared. She kept quiet for a long period of time...until finally they could hear them speak in their own native tongue. "Oh? ...oh! Wonderful! You've got the translator installed, then! Now, let me try that introduction again. We are the Vruul Republic, and I am this warband's leader, High Warlord Thakto. You don't seem to be Bolhe scum, so we're pleased to meet you, mysterious creatures. I don't really know a lot about interstellar affairs, but if you have any questions, ask. But first, identify yourselves." She was excited at this, and began to open her notebook up yet again and resumed to write everything she heard. Of course, she did her best to spell the pronouns that this creature was using: Vruul, Thakto, Bolhe...at this point, she just spelt them the way she thought they sounded. If anything, she could probably find a way to rewrite this section properly for the official reports. This is seeming interesting! she thought, scribbling down a few more notes. "We are humans, of Sol and the planets surrounding it." "A republic with a High Warlord as a high ranking official? Are you conquerors, or are you diplomats? We humans tend to be quite the diplomats ourselves. If you are the same, I'm sure we'll get along just fine!" The captain and Julius seemed to give the basic answers and questions, at least from Rei's point of view, but right now...she had another question for this race of creatures. "May I ask a question myself?" she piped in. "You seemed to be assuming we were allied with or possibly a part of something called...Bol...he? I really hope I didn't butcher that pronunciation. A-Anyway! Could you possibly tell us what those are, that way we could steer clear of them if we happen to end up running into them."

The Outer Worlds is pretty great so far. Feels a lot like Fallout, but arguably better. I feel like this is what Starfield is supposed to be, but it'd be a high bar to set for Bethesda.

A set of WL-related maindeck Level 9 monsters were released in DANE, specifically Idlee, Deus X-Krawler and Mardark, all of them from different WL archetypes, and the latter 2 sharing a floating effect. IDK if more Level9s with a similar pattern will be released in the future, but for now these inspired me to make a couple more for other WL archetypes. I may expand on this set as more ideas come to mind. Mekk-Knight Black Zenith LIGHT/Psychic/Effect/Level 9 2200/3000 If 2 or more cards are in the same column, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand) in that column. You can only Special Summon "Mekk-Knight Black Zenith" once per turn this way. Once per turn, when a card effect that was activated on your opponent's side of the field and in the same column as this card resolves, you can negate that effect. If this card on the field is destroyed by battle or card effect: You can add, from your Deck to your hand, 1 Level 9 monster with a different original Type and Attribute than this card. You can only use this effect of "Mekk-Knight Black Zenith" once per turn. Orcust Saxophone Succubus DARK/Machine/Effect/Level 9 1900/3000 You can banish this card from your GY, then target 1 of your banished DARK Machine monsters, except "Orcust Saxophone Succubus" ; you cannot Special Summon monsters for the rest of this turn, except DARK monsters, also send that target to the GY. If this card on the field is destroyed by battle or card effect: You can add, from your Deck to your hand, 1 Level 9 monster with a different original Type and Attribute than this card. You can only use each effect of "Orcust Saxophone Succubus" once per turn. Flavor & trivia: - For the Mekk I went with amber because it close to the orange color, the one that is assigned to the Mekk-Knights' WL Machine, the shield. Besides, according to the YGO wikia, Mardark comes from the green Guardragon, and by extension the green WL Machine. Although another option is black in reference to the World Legacy - World Key. - Tried to follow the name pattern of "Orcust [musical instrument] [creature]" and the last 2 words starting with the same letter as seen in Brass and Harp, but couldn't come up with anything else that I liked enough. Another idea is Piano Phantom but not really digging it. Besides, it's just a name, the main part of this card as well as the Mekk is the effect, intended to be flavorful enough for their archetypes. - Since both X-Krawler and Mardark have 3000 DEF, I figured I could give 3000 DEF to these ones as well to suggest a pattern/trait. - Amber and Saxophone still have different Attribute/Type combinations from X-Krawler and Mardark so they can all still search each other with their signature float effects. Saxophone cannot search Idlee, however. Thoughts? Change log: 28/10/2019 - Added and OPT clause to the continuous negation effect of Amber. - Reduced the ATK of Amber from 2400 to 2200. Now it has the same ATK as Yellow, and the same DEF as Orange, for a little bit of extra flavor. - Reduced to number of maximum number targets for the first effect of Saxophone from 2 to 1. 29/10/2019 - Renamed Amber Evening into Black Zenith to reference World Legacy - World Key's black color and follow the "1 Mekk for each WL piece and their respective colors" theme going on.

So the first effect is intended to make itself, and the pseudo-monsters it Summons, unaffected by the opponent's effects, even if their control changes? It's an unique effect, albeit I found it confusing at first and had to re-read the sentence repeatedly. I find clever and unique the effect of transferring bonuses to monsters summoned by its own effects. However, not a fan of the card. The flavor is nice and all and makes enough sense to me if you ship Ib and Avram, so that's not the problem for me. Instead, it seems that by nature the card falls on the "awesome but impractical" trope as a Link5 with semi-specific material requirements and an effect that asks for OTKs or locking the opponent's board, and that's a shaky design approach, and AFAIK prone to fall on a "bad or break" situation in the sense that either it's so impractical that it's rarely played, or players find a way to make it consistent enough to become a problem for the game. Now, can't say it's a bad thing because "awesome but impractical" cards are also a thing in YGO and I'm not against making cards with such design when intended, it's mostly me not being a fan of such approaches due to their aforementioned risky nature. It's not exactly unfair until proven otherwise, but that would require practical tests.
