With things being set in stone and Kiyoko's mission being laid out before her, the girl looked to the others of her team as it seemed that they would need to split up now. With Natsumi following alongside her, the two of them followed Mr. Grayshoe to the convenience store they had visited earlier. Kiyoko's expression became immediately displeased as Mr. Grayshoe explained what they were doing, though more so at herself then anything else. To think that the enemy had been right under their noses this whole time, and she had simply remained ignorant of it. After briefly mentally admonishing herself, though, the girl merely nodded at the man's request saying, "understood." Though she had walked alongside Natsumi at first, the girl decided to go check a different place. While her roommate was inspecting the oven, she would go into the walk-in fridge that was just next to it. After all, their chances of finding something were great if they inspected the opposites of hot and cold at once! Moving into the fridge proper, the girl noticed that there was nothing more to it then a bunch of cases of bottles of beverages she didn't know with all kinds of names that just confused her. Though that had appeared to be all there was at a surface glance, Kiyoko didn't want to simply look only at the surface again. And so she went to inspect the boxes and their contents, seeing if beverages were really all they had to offer. Looking at one box in particular, the girl found its contents to be empty, bar one sheet of paper. Curiously, the girl took it out and examined the paper. It seemed to be a note, or rather, two notes written by different people. "The 8 button broke, so just use 3 and 5 to make 8." Underneath it, the second note was written, clearly by a different and messier writer. "Fine, but fix it soon. Even in the future nothing works." The girl didn't quite know what the exchange meant, but it had referrenced a button - something Mr. Grayshoe had alerted them to look out for. Proud with her findings, the girl left the fridge looking to the other two and presenting the paper. "I have found something of interest."

Heh, the effect reminded me of Mystical Knight of Jackal, which I remember being played casually for the semi-loop it could enable if the opponent kept defending with a beatable monster. This is quite different though, it needs Flip set-up and you would have to top-spin a card you know is useless for the opponent to effectively make it skip its Draw Phase. Or just return a valuable card of yours to your top of deck. WIND/Zombie typing is cool, but IDK where the WIND is coming from. Stats look decent, too. Overall looks like a casual card to me, but could be decent pick in topdeck strategies.

One-Puncher EARTH Level 4 [Warrior/Effect] 1800/1000 If this Normal Summoned/Set card battles a Special Summoned monster, during Damage Calculation: You can reveal any monster(s) in your hand, and if you do, this card gains their combined ATK during Damage Calculation only. - - - - - You can see how you could push the boost on this one. There's plenty of 4k and 5k monsters out there from the Main Deck so you can probably push 24,000 ATK or stuff. Thought about halving damage but looking at how stuff like the Utopia Double combo doesn't, I figure nowadays it shouldn't be as huge of an issue as it once was. Still, what are the opinions on this kind of thing?

The piano girl was sort of awkward. She stumbled over her words and was almost too eager to accept his invitation, but she seemed sweet and her excitement was genuine. Plus the Sneasel she was cradling was adorable in its attempt to look tough. Maybe she just had a really sheltered childhood or something, Nate thought. Whatever the reason was he decided that he liked her and her stubborn little Sneasel. Plus he just preferred to train in groups. Speaking of. . . “I’ve been trainin’ in the ruins outside’a the town. The weather isn’t as bad and you don’t have to worry about sandstorms,” he offered. “Plus I think they’re just a lot more interesting to explore. The locals around here say they were built by some kinda really old civilization to defend against some sort of threat, which is why there’s tons of Golett and stuff down there. Are you guys lookin’ to catch anything or just train?” Regardless of their answer Nate would follow-up his question by explaining, “it’s mostly Ground-types down there. Like a lot of them, plus a pretty good chunk of Spinarak I guess -- but I heard from someone that there’s a Larvesta nest somewhere in there. I’ve not seen one since I got here but maybe worth keeping an eye out for.” He had been tired when he approached them but talking about training was getting him worked up again. He pumped his shoulders and grinned. “You guys got anythin’ you need to do before we head out? Don’t wanna rush you but I’m getting excited!”

Rona was fine with the silence. She was watching as people passed by, making sure none of them looked to be dangerous, and keeping close to Leon as they stood among the crowd. In fact when he broke the silence it gave the girl a start. Though she quickly laughed to cover the surprise on her face. "so, was there uh, anything you wanted to get while we're here? It's not every day we're in a city like this right? There's bound to be a bunch of stuff you uh, um, can't find anywhere else, right?" Rona looked blankly at the young man. What would she get? "My weapons are still in decent condition. We should have enough supplies. I don't think there's anything else we're in need of." Rona responded. "Ah, I see.." The young man awkwardly rubbed the back of his head as he said, "but I more so meant things like, food that isn't just rations. Or clothes or, I don't know, anything you'd find interesting." Something she found interesting? Rona didn't bother trying to hide her puzzled face. "I don't know." She answered honestly. She looked down at her body. "Is there a problem with my clothing?" Leon looked to the girl, examining her for a moment though, seemingly examining her before seeming to realize something and quickly clearing his throat. "Well, no. Not particularly. It's just something I know people like to shop for in their spare time." Looking at his own clothes, he said, "though I suppose all of our clothing is getting a bit worn." Rona idly tugged at her top, what little there was of it, and frowned. "Do you think I should get new clothes then?" "Sure. I could probably use some myself, so let's go shopping for clothes." The wyvern rider nodded. "Yes, commander...where does one buy clothes?" The first thing that Alexis noticed when entering the bar was the shouting. A bull of a man was screaming about a boat to another, smaller, man. She thought she recognized the angry man and, when she noticed Yue come in behind her, pointed him out. "That's the guy who was fighting those bandits before yeah?" It was then the one being yelled at noticed the two of them. He seemed to intentionally lock eyes on them which bothered Alexis. Eye contact was meant to start something between two people and from the looks of this man she didn't want that for either her or Yue. Still she just gazed back unflinchingly and let a smile cross her face as she heard him try and negotiate with the bull. "don't let this man keep you from having a drink if you came for one. He's much more docile then he appears." The man was bold. She could tell he was used to having control in any situation. Despite his absolutely bland appearance. With a shrug she started forward before pausing. She leaned towards Yue and whispered into the girl's ear. "Might be best to keep some distance in case he decides to throw someone again. I'm going to get a bit closer though, this looks too interesting to pass up." Then she strode up towards the duo. "Oh, I wasn't worried. I just couldn't help but overhear you talking about boats. We're looking for a ride you see but if there's boat thieves going around then we wouldn't want to accidentally board stolen property." Silt will chuckle saying, "a boat you say? Well, irate though he may be, Susan over here happens to be a wonderful sailor. And last I checked, without a crew, so I'm sure you two can talk about something." The man will pause for a moment before adding, "but if you're looking to set sail, time is of the essence." Oh really then? This just got more interesting, just as she expected. "And why might that be?" The man will put a hand to his chin saying, "oh? You don't know? Well, it seems that the government of Rastarn is looking for a fugitive of some sort. And they asked for compliance with Enta's government to start regulating and restricting travel. They have agreed thus far, though the Sky Knights are only now starting to be able to secure things in here." It was worse than she had thought. They would have to get out of there quick or else risk running into a blockade. "Well, we certainly don't have anything to worry about there. Haven't been a fugitive once my whole life! Suppose we'll just have to get to our destination quicker than expected though." She glanced over at the one he had called Susan. "If we help get your boat back would you be interested in a few passengers?"

Ryia was glad for two reasons. One, that there didn't seem to actually be any prisoners in here other than who they were looking for. And secondly, that the prisoner they were looking for seemed to be alright. Frowning a bit as he and Keres talked about his apparent hangover, the girl could only imagine what unruly state he had been in when he was brought in here. Her expression then went to intrigued, however, as it seemed that he had found some information. "Talk? Did you learn something about uh, some...things?" "Oh yeah, got a bundle of information while you were....where were you again?" Ryia clammed up at the man's question. Though he was in no position to have followed them yesterday, the group still had left him behind without telling him much of anything on the matter. And as a result, Ryia did feel guilty about having just done that to someone they convinced to come along with them in the first place. As a result, she didn't really know where to start nor how to say it in a way that wouldn't make the man feel bad. As a result she fumbled her words saying, "oh, uh, well...a lot happened. There was some fighting involved...Gnolls and a Roc too...like, the bird not the stone thing um..." Hastily changing the subject away from that the girl said, "so uh what did you find out?" Damien whistled. "Seems you were busy. And I'd love to tell you. You know what I'd love even more? Telling you while I can feel my limbs." He winked. The girl looked at the boy again, going flush with embarrassment as she realized she was basically interrogating him while he was still tied up. "Oh uh, right, um, uh. Sorry, I'll just," the girl awkwardly made her way over to Damien, starting to untie his binds. "You know, this isn't the first time a pretty girl had to untie me like this. The other time was a lot more private though." The girl's face only seemed to get to redder at this, even if her expression was mostly unamused by the man's continued flirtatious comments. As the binds hadn't been yet untied as well, the girl had accidentally slipped as a result of this, tightening the bonds around him further. Realizing this, the girl let go with a start and seemed to momentarily panic. "Oh! Uh sorry. My bad. Uh...." After her brief apology, the girl went back to her work, finally managing to untie the man. "Didn't think you'd be so rough, not that I mind." Standing back up, with sword hand, Damien stretched himself out. "Muuuch better." Standing up with a sigh, the girl walked back to the others, a defeated expression on her face as she had seemed emotionally drained by the whole experience. With a similarly defeated tone, the girl said, "I'm glad to hear."

Milla took in Nathan's words with an unusual attentiveness. She wanted to actively engage in this conversation rather than passively observe and squeak out meek remarks or commentary. The boy seemed to have more of a grasp how things worked with these whole pokemon adventure things. Or at least he felt much more natural to it all. Where Milla had struggled to even think of training, he seemed readily aware of the amount of trainers in the area that would serve as suitable practice. Apparently he had already challenged the gym but had failed to win, resulting in his team disbanding, or at least leaving him behind. Hearing this stung a bit, as it brought up less than pleasant memories of Milla's own first team. "N-no.. no! It'd be wonderful to have you." she blurted out as Nathan asked if it would be alright for him to tag along with them. She hadn't even consulted Nomi, the now senior member of the group, but somehow she doubted the girl was going to care much one way or the other. She really did take life as it came at her. At this point Milla stood, realizing it might be viewed as impolite to remain sitting given the situation. Her arms instinctively carried Rondo up with her. The Sneasel had been trying to look as serious as he could to impress the newcomer and so he wriggled about a bit in her grip in protest. Cute wasn't the desired look at the moment. "Right, so... there's trainers all about the city and the desert up top to face wild pokemon we could go back to. What seems like a good first approach?" she asked, this time wanting to not make every single decision without Nomi's input. And with any luck, Nathan would have some surefire plan already in place to get stronger in a hurry.

If one can make Isolde,_Two_Tales_of_the_Noble_Knights without needing the Normal Summon that this guy would use up... Isolde could use the search effect to search out Gate_Guardian and the likes to offer more attack boost.... You could also randomly run The_Melody_of_Awakening_Dragon to search any of the Rainbow Dragons to get extra set of 4000 ATK to further increase its lethalty. Though there is a lot of factors that have to play out for this thing to OTK (e.g. it needed to be Normal/Set, your opponent needing Special Summoned monster, going 1st/2nd, having just enough combined ATK in hand, etc.) , it would definitely be hilarious to pull off. XD
