  5. Saying bye-bye to my consoles again for some cash. This blows. The fuck is taking the DES so long?

  6. My name is Yoshikage Kira. I'm 33 years old. My house is in the northeast section of Morioh, where all the villas are, and I am not married. I work as an employee for the Kame Yu department stores, and I get home every day by 8 PM at the latest. I don't smoke, but I occasionally drink. I'm in bed by 11 PM, and make sure I get eight hours of sleep, no matter what. After having a glass of warm milk and doing about twenty minutes of stretches before going to bed, I usually have no problems sleeping until morning. Just like a baby, I wake up without any fatigue or stress in the morning. I was told there were no issues at my last check-up. I'm trying to explain that I'm a person who wishes to live a very quiet life. I take care not to trouble myself with any enemies, like winning and losing, that would cause me to lose sleep at night. That is how I deal with society, and I know that is what brings me happiness. Although, if I were to fight I wouldn't lose to anyone.

Howdy, my name is Rawhide Kobayashi. I'm a 27 year old Japanese Japamerican (western culture fan for you foreigners). I brand and wrangle cattle on my ranch, and spend my days perfecting the craft and enjoying superior American passtimes. (Barbeque, Rodeo, Fireworks) I train with my branding iron every day, this superior weapon can permanently leave my ranch embled on a cattle's hide because it is white-hot, and is vastly superior to any other method of livestock marking. I earned my branding license two years ago, and I have been getting better every day. I speak English fluently, both Texas and Oklahoma dialect, and I write fluently as well. I know everything about American history and their cowboy code, which I follow 100% When I get my American visa, I am moving to Dallas to work in an oil field to learn more about their magnificent culture. I hope I can become a cattle wrangler for the Double Cross Ranch or an oil rig operator for Exxon-Mobil! I own several cowboy hats, which I wear around town. I want to get used to wearing them before I move to America, so I can fit in easier. I rebel against my elders and seniors and speak English as often as I can, but rarely does anyone manage to respond. Wish me luck in America!

  9. Yeah I know what you mean, but that kind of advice would be more appropriate for stuff made from scratch rather than what I usually do, which is basically copy work using a grid. This one was based off a photo, which already has the lighting and everything, so it's basically just laying out the composition and colors. As for the negative spacing, that is something I've been considering, though another issue is my printer, which usually shifts the overall color tones from what they were on my computer, so the whites are darker and are more of a light gray, so next time I'll try to carry things over without being a stickler for the hues, and for the absolute whites I'll trace those out and leave those to be just empty sections of the white paper. Appreciate the feedback, my dude.
  10. Spider One from Powerman 5000 looks like the love child of Chris Cornell and Billy Idol.

  11. After rummaging through the photos I took while we were at Cancun, this one of a pier we were lying by caught my eye, so I decided to draw it in soft pastel. Feedback is appreciated.
  12. Fuck you, randomizer, for eliminating one of my nominations by default.

  14. Continuing from my last post: - Millennium Falcon (Star Wars) - Oscar Mayer Weinermobile - USS Enterprise (Star Trek) - The Flying Dutchman (Pirates of the Caribbean) - Delorian DMC-12 (Back to the Future) That makes 8.
  15. It really is unfortunate how buried F-Zero ended up being as a series. Considering how most people only know of it because CF was in Smash, it'd be difficult to revive the series, but with something like this, if done right I reckon it would at least get people's attention. Now that would be dope. I'd be very interested in seeing how each Pokemon is implemented as well as how trainers fight them. Would it be just you vs them with weapons or would you send out Pokemon and it'd be like FF13 style? That's always fun, especially with open-source 3D games with people who know how to use Blender. Custom items are always interesting to just browse through and see what can be done. Pixels, though, have that type of aesthetic that takes quite the effort or lack thereof to make it look bad, so that'd be interesting. In terms of the game, though, would it be something like Realm of the Mad God? Cause that's the first thing that comes to mind. Imagining a Mario game playing like Zelda is pretty hype. What it lacks is the open-world feel, which Odyssey tried to do but they're separated and themed, so it still feels a bit disjointed. But just to have a seamless world where Mario can just explore, do missions, and level-up would be pretty exciting. So like, an Action MMO rogue-lite sort of thing? That'd be interesting to try out. I imagine the combat would be something like For Honor or something? I was thinking that too, like after Days of Ruin, a whole new world is developing but as this new society is expanding, secrets of the world are being discovered that humanity has ignored due to a dominant culture of industrial and technological advancement. My thought was to have this one guy who was badly hurt from the previous war was dying as he crawled up the mountain to make his final resting place, but he stumbled upon a cave that had these strange crystals that gave him the ability to communicate with the resources of the world and use them to reassemble and control the remains of units that have been destroyed. As he secretly became a master of this ability, he sought to build his own empire by building artificially intelligent commanders that were sent to claim and conquer different territories and recover more ruins to increase the size of their army. As their influence grew, the power that the commanders had eventually made them self-aware of their creator and betrayed him. Even though he could control them, he couldn't control their army and they were well guarded, so he sought for the help of the survivors, which of course ends up being awkward for him after they realize who he was and that he was responsible for everything that was transpiring, so that was an issue but it all works out in the end... then BAM! the guy has control over his army again and now he has no need for their help, oh the humanity! I think I tried writing a fic for that once but it didn't really take off, surprisingly. Always been a cool idea in my head, though.

  19. The back of a cramped Jeep had an atmosphere that few would envy for any mortal being. In Gardna's case, he felt nothing but patience as he rested in his reserved state. To any onlookers who were not aware of his existence, he simply looked like a large, fancy shield sitting up against one of the seats, strapped by a belt so that he would not be tossed around during the bumpy trip to wherever they ended up. It wasn't until the vehicle came to a stop when he came out of his meditation to listen for any prompt to come out and observe the situation outside. "Yeah. City hall's been our headquarters since the bugs overran the military district. Once we get there he'll have a full briefing for you guys." Bugs, Gardna thought in his passive state, still remaining infused within the shield, an infestation? "Alternate routes, Chip?" "None that won't take us through a bug zone. I've got the chaingun revved up, but I think it'd be best if you make sure the block's clear before we keep going. Last thing we need is for a Doom Dozer to unburrow under us while we're transporting the cargo." A path of bugs needs to be cleared. That is my mission. He remained dormant, awaiting an order to move out. "Roger that. Any of you hero types feel like takin' a walk, come with me." That was Gardna's cue. Without hesitation, Gardna projected a rather bulky, tan arm out from the back surface near the strap meant for an arm, hooking around to unstrap the belt that held him in place. Once loose, the rest of him seeped out, sprawling into a large, muscular man with long, bushy black hair, a blue and purple collared Hawaiian shirt, red sweatpants, and thick tan boots. Without so much as a slight slouch, the large and heavy shield lifted with his arm as he wielded it without a sweat, making his way out of the vehicle with his deadpan expression that signified professional readiness for any mission. "I will follow. What shall you have me do?" Gardna spoke, his voice resonating with a smooth and deep tone that swooned the chaotic state of the city that reeked of havoc.
