Just a funny thought but what if the duel disk system refused to summon a monster because there wasn't enough space for the hologram?

It's so refreshing to see a forum not flooded with prostitution and black magic spambots

If I have a drink in the fridge, explain to me why I would go to the store just to buy that exact same drink.

Again, not sure what the dilemma is here. If you feel like buying the same drink and drinking that instead of the one you already have in the fridge, then that's your decision, but you don't have to if you find it unnecessary. I have no reason to explain to you why you would in the first place, nor why you should.

If Batman hits Manbat or Killer Croc, is it considered assault or animal cruelty?

Name 1 good DC movie that doesn't have Batman in it.

My question is: If Bandit Keith summoned a normal monster with 2400 ATK and Pegasus instructed the kid to summon a normal monster with 1850 ATK, how the hell did Bandit Keith lose that duel?
I am rewatching the Duelist Kingdom arc and it showed that scene. I'm more confused about that scene than Bandit Keith is. He summons a 2400 ATK normal monster and his opponent summons a 1850 ATK normal monster and neither one has any additional cards on the field to influence the battle. So wouldn't the kid have technically lost 550 LP?

Who else thinks the current meta would be extremely scary if all the cards were legal?

Gonna make an effort to sleep today whenever possible

Not sure if this is a good idea. But I'm gonna let the community decide what archetype I should make. First 10 comments will be put to a vote.
Quick note: the winning archetype will get 20 cards.

Blue-Eyes, Red-Eyes, and Dark Magician are all based around very popular monsters that have existed for two decades now, and they only have so much support because they've been peppered with it constantly over all that time. Archfiends are an enormous mess that combines the first take of them being Chess RNG, the second take that tries to make them a proper archetype, and a helluva lot of random cards that just happen to have the name (including a ton of Summoned Skull retrains).
Dark Worlds and Lightsworn are both archetypes that Konami has done multiple takes on, so that's why they got so many cards as is. Stardust is weird in that it isn't really much of an actual archetype, just a bunch of support for Stardust Dragon.
Blackwings (and Performapals definitely) are just a giant fuck. They just have way too many cards what the fuck are they even doing.
If you're really set on making a whole entire 20 cards, then do so for an archetype that doesn't have just one playstyle. Something like Nordics since they have 3 boss monsters but they all are summoned using completely different combos. That way you can support all 3 bosses, maybe make them mesh better with one another.

Who agrees that cards like Red-Eyes Black Metal Dragon and Metal Zoa would be worth summoning if they kept the Metalmorph effect?
-
They would just be a 400 point boost over a Metalmorphed Red-Eyes or Zoa. They would be more situational than Equips such as Axe of Despair while still offering less of a boost. Plus they dead draw really hard. They would need even more going for them in order to be useful cards.
If you put them in the ED with the same summoning conditions, which isn't really something Yugioh did until many years afterward, then a mere 400 point boost would be more ok as you never have to risk dead drawing them. But it would still just be a 400 point boost, an upgrade over Metalmorphed Red-Eyes/Zoa for sure but nothing that I think people would absolutely want to build their decks around.
(Also this is entirely based off of old-school Yugioh fwiw, there's like no way you could make Metalmorph viable after that without absolutely breaking cards)
My status replies are too skinny aaaaAAAhhhhh

The problem is Metalmorph only gives a 300 ATK/DEF boost + 50% of the ATK of the monster it attacks. REBMD and Metal Zoa only get a 400 ATK/DEF boost and they lose the entire point of Metalmorph.
I'd be fine with REBMD being a Lv8 2700/2300 with the 50% ATK boost under it's current summoning condition. But as is, it makes a good drop for those Lv8 Ritual monsters.
