  2. WHAT MEME DO YOU FEEL BEST SUMS UP THE PAST DECADE? I EXPECT AN INTENSE BATTLE IN THE POSTS WHILE WE DISCUSS THIS MOST IMPORTANT MATTER
  3. "Catriona! We've found something! You should come see- oh, and light some of the torches if you have them!" Gunther was taken aback by Edrick suddenly shouting up at him. He wasn't sure if the Pontic was talking to him or not. Either way he didn't have any torches. Though he was curious as to what they found. The badger didn't seem to take much heed of the boy and so Gunther, with a silent nod, awkwardly made his way around the boy to ground level. The air was cool and Gunther knew immediately that this was the best place to store food. It may not be as good as storage in the castle but for a village such as this it was quite handy. On his way down he saw Penelope. She looked to have a pleased expression which Gunther took to mean she found something she deemed important. While it was likely something he had to also learn he couldn't get the cheese out of his head. He had decided to take care of this likely pointless task and he'd see it through. "Ah, Penelope, good. This, er..." He gestured towards the badger. "This is the mayor. I think." With that, rather odd, introduction out of the way Gunther went in search of an empty crate. Once he found one that was suitable he placed the cheese inside with a satisfied smile. "Now, with that done..." What had Edrick said? They found something? He looked around until he noticed where several of the others had gone down. A basement's basement, was it? He wasn't sure he wanted to squeeze his way down there, though, it sounded like several others had already went down. So he decided to hang back and wait for the others to come back up. Penelope watched as Gunther made his way downstairs with another animal in tow. Or was it the animal came down with Gunther in tow? Either way, the two of them came down at the same time and Penelope made her way over. According to Gunther the badger was the very mayor of this town whose house they were ransacking, in the most professional way of course, which suited her just fine. She made sure to keep the key in clear view. Wanting to see how the badger reacted without drawing attention to it. "Hello, my name is Penelope. Was it you who left all those markings around your house?" She got her confirmation in the form of a nod. The badger did in fact notice the key. He seemed surprised that Penelope had found it, which pleased her, but wasn't upset, which was interesting. While it was something he thought well hidden and protected he clearly didn't mind them having it. Which made her think that he did want them using it somewhere. "Well, I think we've just about figured that out, but I must ask." She held the key out. "Is this for the town hall?" Yet another confirmation. She had figured it would be the case. But it was good to know for sure. After they gathered their information they would have to set out for the town hall it seemed. Penelope gave a smile and, keeping the smile the whole time, casually said, "thank you for the information...Oh, before I forget, once we lift this curse you're going to have a lot to explain." She got a snort in return. The mayor wasn't the most talkative it seemed but she was glad to have gotten something out of him. He wouldn't be able to hide anything from her once this was done. The daughter of the Winter King was not one to let such a thing fade away. Moving back towards the tunnel, noticing Gunther standing there, she called out "Whenever you're done down there, let us meet back upstairs, to share our information." With that she made her way back up the stairs and right into a blade. The blade's owner was Link. Her initial reaction was to step back, her next reaction was suspicion, but all this happened in only a few instants and the young man seemed to recover quickly. Backing down when he saw who it was. "Well, that's one way to get someone's attention. But I must say you should be more careful, imagine if it was Tsetseg, that girl might've ran right into the sword." She smiled, trying to avoid a scolding tone, and continued on past him. Once past she let her expression shift to one of relief. For a moment, she thought... The princess decided to set up at the table in the middle of the room. As people came by she would let them know she wished to gather everyone here. There had been enough time to search this house so now it was time to crack this "code". How exciting!
  4. Star Wars Dark Forces reminds me of that N64 game but I never played this one. Spyro though was one of my childhood games, the first specifically, and I think it's my favorite of the PS1 platformers.
  5. FF8 is my favorite Final Fantasy bring it. Also didn't know there was a PS1 Lion King game tbh
  6. He can just ask a mod to help with rewards. Speaking of, I'll join in if you don't get enough soon.
  7. "I was.... phone call....Rondo ran..... thanking you for......him back to me. But I don't....trouble you.....on my way now." "Who's troubled?" Naomi asked. She had been fading in and out as the girl talked but there was something going on here. So, despite her sleepiness, she tried to pay attention. The girl didn't seem to want to leave but she was leaving anyway. Why? What did that do? "Right. You wanted to come to this region, didn't you? We're your new team, then. One of ours actually left us behind today so..." Naomi was starting to think that Kanon really didn't want to be alone. She wondered why. It wasn't really that bad. Still.... "If y'wanna come y'can." Naomi said. She wasn't going to stop her. Though she wasn't entirely sure of one thing. She looked over towards Kanon, "Where're we goin?" "I don't need to know anything about you to know when someone's doing something they shouldn't be." "Whatcha talking about? All these stupid kids bothering me, what an annoying day." The thug grumbled. He nodded as Belle spoke up, "Listen to your little friend there, she seems like a smart girl, just run along now." "Why don't you try pickin' on someone your own size, punk!" He let out a groan and looked back at Ivan, meeting his stare. "And what're you doing? You should be agreein with me if anything, c'mon, tell your friend there to back off." Though it was clear that these two wouldn't. "Fine whatever, you wanna mess with me, then let's get this over with." He then pulled out a Pokeball from his side and sent out a small red bird, a Fletchinder, who let out an aggressive chirp and flapped its wings, standing on the ground and staring the group down.
  8. "Is everything okay?" The girl cast a side glance at Erica. "Yes, no...well." She nervously fiddled with the collar of her shirt for a moment. "I just...got off on the wrong floor is all." She said finally. There was a silence until she blurted out, "Oh, Blossom. My name...Blossom Artem." The elevator continued down, to the next lowest floor, before the door opened up once more. Another girl was standing there. With her arms crossed and her foot tapping. Erica had seen the girl before, on the Finback, but hadn't really talked with her much. She didn't so much as address Erica. Instead she went right to Blossom. "There you are. Didn't I tell you to follow me? You're going to keep getting lost if you wander off like that." She blew a strand of her hair out of her face and finally seemed to noticed Erica. "And who are you?" She asked, her tone demanding. "Thanks for your help, doc," "Nurse." She corrected quickly. "For a doctor you'd need to go to the hospital." --- The "mess hall" as Kansuke put it, or, as normal, chiller, individuals, called it the cafeteria was open. But it seemed that at the time there werean't many people there. Long rows of metal tables with metal benches, lined with what looked like shag carpeting, stretched in several rows from the door to a rectangular area that resembled a large window on the other side. Only several others were seated, making the large room seem even larger, as he made it towards the far end. A young adult stood on the other side. He gave the boy a warm smile as he reached the counter. Beyond Kansuke could see a large variety of appliances and several robots that resembled small cranes with oven mitts moving around behind him. "Another new face, first year? I'm Jorge. What can I do you for? We got some fresh bread in if you're interested. Raisin bread, rye bread, banana bread, breaded bread, bread crumbs, pumpkin bread, zucchini bread, tomato bread, apple bread..." He blushed. "Sorry I got a little carried away." "I don't need to eavesdrop, you're right outside the door." Sid said with an annoyed click of his tongue. He was silent for a while, nodding his head along with the music, then sighed. He pulled the headphones out and Chase would be able to hear the loud music coming from them. "Everyone has a type. Tall, short, fat, skinny, lizard, whatever." He looked over and saw what Chase was doing and clicked his tongue again. "Oh so that's how it is. A hard working good boy." He gave a short laugh. "Great, lucky me." He muttered. Noise ceased to exist where Xa'Tok was. All but a slight hum, reminiscent of a ship's idling engine. His eyes were closed but he could see colors around him. Gold, pink, and blue. Swirling together but never touching. It felt peaceful, if occasionally hectic, as though the colors were coexisting and settling despite their frantic nature. Then something changed. A flash of an image appeared in Xa'Tok's mind's eye. The colors darkened, and scattered, and Xa'Tok felt a coldness and hunger like he's never felt before. And then a hand was on his shoulder and everything came rushing back to the physical world. He was laying on a couch. In a room that, looking at the wall, resembled a bird cage. With the spaces between the bars filled out in tinted glass. Hovering over him was the bearded face of the principal. "You gave me quite the scare. I was just about to go for a jog when I saw you twitching in front of my doorstep. As Xa'Tok became more aware of his surroundings he'd see that the principal was dressed in a bright pink jogging suit as well as his usual sunglasses.
  9. Most recent MHA chapter hit me hard with the first page.

    1. Flame Dragon

      Flame Dragon

They've done such a damn good job redeeming Endeavor.

  10. Team Alola, On the Road to Adarid City "Right, right, definitely nuts." Zapdos said, shaking her head. "but it'll help you at least." Zapdos gave Keanu a sly smile and took the berries from his hand. Lingering for a moment as she looked him over. She popped a couple in her mouth and nodded. "Good stuff. Thanks for that, dude." she groaned and got to her feet and made her way towards Articuno. Holding one of the berries electricity crackled around her hand and she crushed the berry in her hand. Holding it over the other girl's mouth and opening it she dripped the juice into the Ice type's mouth. The woman let out a slight whimper as her eyes fluttered. It seemed she was slowly coming to. Zapdos looked back at Keanu. "Wish I had something to thank y-." She paused and snapped her finger. "I got it." Holding out her hand Keanu would see a greenish-yellow stone with a lightning bolt shape etched into it. "If you wanna get stronger this thing can help." Team Mac, Cave Part Two "This isn't all at all!" Zekrom grunted as Ari slammed into his side. "That's right, keep going, you three are doing perfect!" He called out. Though he didn't seem so stunned that he didn't notice Kazo's divebomb. "Nice try, good form!" He said as he swung his fist at Kazo's head. He winced slightly as the attack met his fist but he still sent Kazo flying to the side. Mac came charging back in her fist charged up with electricity. But as Zekrom turned to her and fired off another Fusion Bolt she jumped to the side and, placing her hands on the ground, sent out a shot of mud at Zekrom, striking him in the face. The Legend stumbled back as he tried to wipe away the muck. "Fighting dirty, but guess that's only fair, smart!" He said. Mac awkwardly rubbed at her neck. "Um, could you stop praising? It's....distracting." Team Neo Not Dark, Under The Sea "Attacking a kid...that's a coward's way out." "I'm attackin you, stupid broad." The Huntail said. Though anything that he was about to say to follow up was cut off as he was struck by the fairy attack. Dropping to the ground he seemed to be struggling to get back up. But he watched Easter closely. His hand twitching and glowing with a dark energy. And then he got hit with a Water Gun to the face, coming from Dora. "Dammit! I'm trying to...ah, forget it." He called out and dove for Easter once more, jaw opening wide in an all too familiar motion for the Sylveon today. Meanwhile the Cloyster let out a shout as they were launched upwards. The shout continued until they reached the top of the bubble where Denku's Dark Pulse hit her and knocked her body out of the bubble. Where she floated, unconscious, in the water. Suddenly the Dragalge, thought down, got to one knee. "I won't go down so easily!" He called out and prepared to fire a Dragon Pulse into Denku's back. But he stopped. His body surrounded by a purple aura. His eyes looked around wildly and settled on Manaphy. She was still in the middle of the bubble, crouching over Phione, but there was a glow in her eyes. Then the Dragalge was struck by an invisible blow and launched out of the bubble as well. She then proceeded to lift the Carvanha's bodies and sent them out as well, before looking towards Easter, who was still dealing with the Huntail. Team Karaoke, Graveyard of Lost Souls Unfortunately for Gwen while the two others were keeping most of Raphael's attention the Shadow Ball headed her way still hit her. She was startled, not paying attention, as the ghostly energy passed through her and almost dropped her. It was hard for her to keep her thoughts straight. She had to focus. The power was surging through her now. She needed to release this power on someone...no, not someone, Raphael. He was standing there. She just had to focus, focus, and attack. The Banette, recovering from being hit by the Thunderbolt, finally cleared up from his confusion. "Ha..haha...ahahahaha! That was fun, but I think it's time to end this don't you?" He grinned wide at Gwen. "I see you, naughty girl." And then he surged forward with both claws extended, tongue hanging out, bloodlust in his eyes. Team Showdown, Temple of Time and Space The Bastiodon was struggling to recover. Every time he did Scarlet would attack his shield again and, while only parts were being broken, stun him again. Though, from what Isole could tell, Scarlet was still under effect of confusion, for she wasn't going in for the finisher. So with a long sigh the girl floated over to the side. Getting in an angle that wouldn't get Scarlet caught up in it as well she raised both hands and launched a Thunderbolt at the Bastiodon's face. The Gijinka jerked and, shield still in Scarlet's grip, slumped over. It took a bit to get him out of said grip but once they did the Bastidon was dragged off as well. The king clapped their hands slowly. "You're rather fierce combatants, I like it!" they nodded, smiling wide. "Let's see if you can handle this though, the last pair, and the strongest." After this two more Gijinka came into the ring. One was somewhat birdlike, with a long, whipping, tail, wide wings, and a scaly face. The other was tall, seven feet in height, with a massive shell on his back that hunched him over slightly. The flying Gijinka, Archeops, flipped backwards onto the ropes and used them to propel herself forward at Scarlet, aiming to hit the Scizor with her wing. The other one, Carracosta, stayed back. But those who were looking would be able to see a strange, ghostly, aura radiating from him.
  11. I imagine this won't go well for me but I loved Front Mission 3. First tactical turn based rpg I played and really fun. Plus a ton of world building you can find if you look.
  12. The combat is, while very different look, is actually very similar. Turn based time based stuff. --- Speaking of, Parasite Eve is a very unique experience for me....and I'll admit I haven't played 9
