  1. I did have an initial design for this that I think was significantly less powerful... It could only Ritual summon non-Effect Ritual monsters. How does that sound? That way you have to run more cards that you naturally wouldn't want to saturate your Deck with. Djinn can be pretty bricky at times if you run a good handful of them as it is. The GY effect is totally for Potential Link plays... It should be noted that you only get to use 1 effect so in most cases you are probably going to use Ritual effect 1st anyways to fuel the GY or banish zone for next turn which you might not have or need. I wouldn't necessarily see this overshadowing Imps as Djinns as they stand act kind of like Gem-Knight Garnet in this case.
  2. Heeyyy~ Long time no see. Any how I love the idea of adapting Normal monsters into Effect monsters. I can see this actually working out some what nicely, as one plays a dedicated Normal monster build you can basically Link off any of the Norms into Link_Spider to make this cards second effect live no matter what... I can see this as a better alternative to Unexpected_Dai for more concentrated norm builds as it doesn't have any restrictions that would make this card hang around in your hand too long. EDIT: Ohh wait.. Any monster from the GY with said type and attribute... That adds a whole new avenue I didn't consider. XD
  3. Onomatopair is obviously the best thing to search right now... So not much to say there... Unless you want to mention the Utopia-centric field Spell, but um yuck. Or the monster you can already search via Onomatopair. lol The Level changing effect is actually a real good thing to tie all the onomatopoeia archs together to the whole Xyz Zexal theme... Gives Gagaga way more value to the rest of them. Considering they are the most awkward of the bunch, as most of their strategy is based off of Level modification and less about making 1 particular Rank of Xyz in mind... Now that Level modification has a purpose for the rest of onomatopoeia arch. Also, I think this could help Dododo getting into Rank 6 more frequently given they have a handful of Level 6's.
  4. For Amber what about something along the lines like those Mermail equips (e.g. Abyss-scale_of_the_Mizuchi) perhaps make it negate upon something resolving in its column, but as an OPT Continuous effect?
  5. Mekknight Amber Evening while very solid for the archetype... I can imagine the frustration of Decks that rely on only 1 EMZ needing to deal with this. World_Legacy's_Memory becomes more significant going first since you can Special Summon this right when your opponent is trying to pull off any maneuvers with the EMZ... I am not sure what degree of magnitude this could have an the meta, but it is worrisome to say the least. I guess at the very least there is some leeway to get around the effect for Decks that can handle this kind of adversity by simply shifting their attention to the other EMZ (provided it is empty) and one isn't always going to draw into World Legacy's Memory. Orcust Saxophone Succubus... Seems to have to the potential to be really obnoxious just from knowing how well Orcust can recycle their plays. This expands a new layer of the grinding capabilities to the archetype on top of giving Orcust more means to ladder into things like Topologic_Bomber_Dragon or Orcustrion.. While really good for the archetype, I would be hesitant to give this to Orcust. I do appreciate incorporating the remaining archetypes that have yet to have post WL flavoring though.
  6. Actually Trickstar doesn't have a card that Special Summon on a Link Marker... But, they do have monsters that burn on Summon: being Trickstar_Divaridis and Trickstar_Foxglove_Witch. Foxglove only burns on Link Summon though and it requires your opponent to at least have 1 card in order to burn. With Trickstar... This card can power up Holly Angel's ATK at minimum of 600 by its own burn and Holly Angel's burn effect, and it easily Ladders... Plus, Trickstars recently got an amazing Link Starting card: https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Trickstar_Fes. So this is becoming more feasible for Trickstars to work with. Marincess can do plenty with it in their own Special linear way, believe me... All almost all their Main Deck monsters are dedicated to Link Laddering. Given the way they ladder is so linear. This could act as an alternative means to ladder. Here is an example if you care to see how they play, but believe me if you don't like one-trick ponies you might not want to watch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XNq1mI6o0-E&t=511s The only other gimmick of interest that Marincess have are hand trap Traps that can be recycled via their boss monsters...
  7. Yeah I am not going to worry about Cyberstein/Telekinetic Charging Cell OTK/FTK... The changing the Type part is the most difficult aspect of the OTK/FTK to pull off as I think the only means to do it right now is via DNA_Surgery or Reprodocus. I would rather support a group of cards that you don't see anymore than worry about a combo on an OTK/FTK based on a mishmash of cards that Konami made in their earlier stages of poor card design.
  8. Oh no I hear you and I understand the repercussions of the idea... Eiza/ Eater of Million OTK trolls from becoming more prevalent. I mainly intended this one out of flavor. But, sadly the best way I could go to represent that flavor is banishing, face-down since there really isn't a better option to reach Deck Out point. It is at least way safer than milling stuff to the GY and banishing stuff face-up. XD The main reason why I allowed the first effect to not be hard OPT is because if the Field Spell leaves the field which is highly likely (considering a lot of Decks can run Knightmare Phoenix, the most accessible backrow removal)... The person who milled their Deck away probably will just lose the duel anyway by their opponent popping it and passing. Of course, there are preventative measures like cards that could do stuff by skipping the Draw Phase (e.g. Offerings_to_the_Doomed)
  9. Yay I got my favorite! Although... Do U Know Da Wae? You must have da Princess Crown to know da wae. *clickclockclickclock*XD
  10. OP: It is missing a Level. What is it? Fire Fist actually don't have a means to activate Fire Formation Traps directly from the Deck yet or let alone activate them on the turn they are set... They only set them still. So I think this is definitely as Darj says as being slower than most of the Fire First. And I would advise going with Darj's suggestion on this one. As for what it can do with the new support, it isn't much... But, you know with Eagle existing I wouldn't want something that would make anymore of an impact... Then again, if you wanted it to have a stronger effect it would be fine because if it makes Fire Fist strong enough to top in events, the sooner Eagle could get banned and Konami can rethink their terrible design decisions. XD
  11. I was with the Deck until Eagle... And I still think it is Eagle's fault for changing how the Deck plays. If they had made the no cost of Fire Formation a HOPT thing instead of a Continuous Effect, I think they wouldn't be loop heavy. It is like Konami's R & D completely ignored the fact that Tiger King, Dragon, and Bear have no HOPT which ultimately made Eagle's design flawed from the start. Sure this is a really good extender for the Deck to point that it is a go to card, but I think it is less of a problem compared to Eagle. Eagle basically disowned the entire gimmick of the Deck: using Fire Formation as resources for your plays. This card expanded on it and offered alternative means to use your Fire Formation as resources.
  12. Ohhh... So they are going to have Main Deck non-Dark Shaddoll so they don't have to rely on popular generics? That is unanticipated... But, I guess it is gives us more incentive to run some of the less used El-Shaddolls if they are going that route. Ariel seems like her best use so far Flip wise is to bring back Shaddolls banished from Allure of Darkness. Here GY effect is nifty against Gy fanatic Decks like Zombies and so on. Not terribly exciting though other than the Attribute. Apaklone is okay... I mean on-Summon effect negation really only get you so far, and that battle immunity is decent. The GY effect stands out in a good way though as it triggers Shaddolls and gets more resources you would possibly need outside of the GY.
  13. Feels so good to finally be able to archive stuff I care about on here. Thank you @LordCowCow

  14. Oh wait... It works! I was trying to edit ones that previously had the default tags and I couldn't add any more... But, when I deleted at least one of them I could add a tag of my choice. Sorry for not looking at this thoroughly.
  15. No... It still doesn't free up tag options. ? Not sure if it is just me or if it simply hasn't happened.
  16. I would like if Casual Card Singles gave you the option to create your own tags instead of being forced to choose from a bunch of default ones.
  17. Órale~! Yay! ... I mean Odelay... Or was it Overlay?
