Ability: Void Voice Classification: Hybrid [Auditory/Illusory] Effects: The user's voice has the ability to stimulate the brain of the closest living organism to them, causing the afflicted to see and feel hallucinations based on deep seated issues or fears. Prolonged exposure to this ability has the curious effect of rendering the afflicted mute. Effects fade either with distance from the user (10 meters) or if the user is incapacitated, provided the damage is not permanent. Ability: Static Soul Classifcation: Auditory Effects: The user can emit loud noises akin to radio static at different frequencies, with effects ranging from masking conversations the user has to damaging the ear drums of those who can hear it. The user is not immune to the effects of this ability. Ability: Necro Piper Classification: Auditory Effects: The user has the ability to cause lifeless objects to move to the beat of music they are either playing or listening to. Music actively performed by the user is much more precise in its control of the objects. Previously living objects also seem to follow commands more precisely, resulting in zombies that seem to have a very small amount of their identity preserved. Ability: Quiet Lam Classification: Illusory Effects: User is innately harder to notice than others. If there is anyone other than the user and a single other person, they will not notice the user unless the user actively wills them to, no matter what strange actions occur, though the actions will be noticed. User is effectively invisible at these times. Ability: Paint Hell Classification: Creative Effects: User has the ability to create and launch multitudes of small objects similar to paint balls in texture and appearance. These balls burst much like a paint ball would, causing 'paint' to splash when they burst. The paint is slightly acidic, causing damage akin to a mild sunburn in the span of a minute, while prolonged exposure seems to be exponentially stronger, with descriptions saying it feels like flames licking the afflicted. They also seem to be much heavier on the target than they look, causing a slow down effect. Ability: Bot Builder Classification: Augmentation [Mental] Effects: User has an innate understanding of many types of machinery, making them a very effective mechanic. This ability has very little use in any sort of combat situation, but the user can make weapons and robots to assist them with ease, provided they have the needed materials.

This thing is groundbreaking. Not only it's a Link2 that can use a single monster as material, also there are many potent effects that are only held back by depending on the opponent destroying them by battle, and a card like this would make them so much more practical to play. Not sure if the latter would be too good to be fair, and IDK if I like this card or not because of that. Graydles come to mind at first, letting you snatch the opponent's monsters during the MP1, and I guess Fire/Ice Hands would work too although IDK if they would miss timing because the last thing to happen is this card's Link Summon. Regardless, surely there are a handful of monsters with great "when destroyed by battle" effects out there.

It gives me vibes of the Holy Death/Santa Muerte. Not that I worship her, but I dig the drawing.

I find sucky that it won't let you use Rock Naturias and Cliff is or was a good Naturia to run due to its floatiness. You could change the requirement to "2 monsters including at least 1 Naturia". The support this card offers to Naturias is... strange. I find the markers awkward, in particular the upper-right one, and only enabling 1 MM Zone for ED summoning seems undesirable, although AFAIK pure-Naturias don't exactly spam ED monsters anyway. Then, the effect, an extra NS is welcomed and seems Bamboshoot builds would capitalize on it the most, but it doesn't really encourage them to go for their Synchros. I mean, you can do it, but it would be as a standard 2-for-1 Synchro Summon, and thus would require resources that AFAIK Naturias have a hard time coming by, specially if they already invested 2 monsters on this. In other words, they would appreciate if this card generated pluses instead (e.g. reviving a monser) to offset the investments on summoning it and any follow-up Summons. On the other hand, it lets you extra NS any Plant or Insect, so the card may actually have more success if either you tech clever Plants/Insects (e.g. Lonefire Blossom, Aromage Jasmine) in Naturia decks, or tech Naturias into Plant/Insect decks to access this card.

IDK if FIRE/Aqua is the most appropriate typing for a Wax monster. Impcantantion Candoll is LIGHT/Pyro, for instance. I find amusing that this would be among the few, if not the only one, Level 4 or lower monsters with an OPT stun Quick Effect that doesn't require you to spend on card advantage (e.g. Tribute, discard, etc.). I remember Kozmo Dark Lady , but she is Level 5 xD The first effect is funny, but if you are running this, most likely your deck has a consistent way to reduce the ATK of the opponent's monsters through other means. Burden of the Mighty comes to mind to negate maindeck monsters before they become or enable ED plays, as well as some of the scale effects of Qlis. Oh wait, Knightmare Mermaid would be a relatively practical way to enable the effect, too, except currently in OCG since it's banned there. Overall I like it. Even if a level 4 or lower monster with a stun quick effect were to be controversial, this requires set-up or deck dedication to function optimally, so it should be alright.

This looks okay to me. Drawing 2 cards is sweet, but requiring 4+ different Attributes of same Type, plus the Type-Summon lock should keep it on check while giving it a niche... somewhere. 2 mill-happy decks I can think of are Lightsworns and Infernoids, but they all the same Attribute so they can't really misuse this card unless they go out of their way with techs. I was concerned about Sky Striker at first, since they can effortlessly get 4 Machines of different Attributes due to the Link1s, but Raye herself is Warrior so you would have to awkwardly play around the Summon lock.

Are the backrow removal cards already available for you not enough? xD Twin Twister, good old MST, the aforementioned Typhoon, and Heavy Storm Duster, even Cosmic Cyclone. More backrow removal options is cool and all, but curious on why you consider it's okay to outclass Heavy Storm Duster.

IMO it's not that good, even with the "activate from hand" condition. You still have to Summon the monster properly in order to revive it with this, and the main HERO Fusions you would want to Summon because other effects can't are the Masked and "omni" HEROes, but due to the plenty of support they have, you may as well summon new copies with the Mask Changes, Miracle Fusion, Poly, Super Poly, etc. If it was searchable then it may have a chance as a 1-of when going first to have it as an extra life for an opening Dark Law, but even then, you may be better off dedicating main deck space to combo cards. Should be decent for slower or casual variants of HEROes, though.

Well this will be a handy card for rokkets considering this enables them to use their effects to recycle new rokkets when used as Link Material for this at the end of the turn.

And Ashley was gone. Out of Melissa’s life again. At once, Melissa felt both a wave of relief at not having another problem to deal with during an already difficult moment and that not-unexpected twinge of worry, wondering if she’d done or said anything wrong. Had she scared Ashley off? No, she’d just managed to effectively communicate how little she wanted to talk to someone unless it was for the express purpose of boxing up and ringing up a pair of flower bracelets. That was all it was, right? But she couldn’t think about that now. That wasn’t to say she didn’t want to, that it wasn’t constantly on her mind, but, well, the corsage shelves could only get thinner, right? Her options, imperfect as they might be, could only decrease, right? She had to decide soon. Her eyes landed a nice arrangement of purple (the label said mauve?) carnations. Perfect for Gabriela, Melissa decided. “One down, just one more to go,” Melissa said to herself as she took it off the shelf to get a closer look. Yes, it would do nicely. Melissa smiled. For the first time since she’d come in, things didn’t look so daunting. She even almost forgot that she’d just been approached by Ashley Rendleman. Almost. “Ashley! Hey!” Hitomu’s voice pierced through whatever barriers Melissa’s focus had put up, dragging her back down to reality. The reality where, yes, she only had one more corsage to find, but finding the one seemed just as impossible as finding two had been. The reality where -- and this couldn’t be stressed enough -- this was only the first of so, so many horrible decisions she planned to have to make that day. The reality where Ashley Rendleman was now talking with Hitomu Amaya. She shouldn’t have cared, and she knew it. But the thoughts she’d previously suppressed, that worry, started constructing a new timeline. How had Ashley Rendleman spent her time in the flower shop? She’d walked in, approached Melissa, un-approached, and now was engaged with someone else. The key moment was the third one, the “un-approach.” Why had she done that? The answer was obvious. “She doesn’t want to talk to you,” Melissa said to herself. “She doesn’t want to talk to you because you’re as interesting as watching paint dry when the paint’s been dry for a week. At least.” It wasn’t even the worst impression she thought she could have given; it was the mere idea, though, of Ashley Rendleman having that impression of her. Melissa didn’t think she would forget it. Until she graduated, Melissa thought, whenever Ashley thought of her, that would be what she thought. And yeah, she still hoped that was as infrequently as she could make it, but the impression was still there. Again, Hitomu was there to interrupt her thoughts. “Picking up some flowers for your date tonight?” he said, totally oblivious to the maelstrom going on in the corner. “That’s normally the guy’s job, but hey, if anyone would flip the script, it’d be you.” She needed to get out. As far away as possible from the flower shop, or at least however far away her dorm room was so she could shower, decompress, and forget it all so she could finish getting ready. Right in front of her was a, if she was being frank, plain bracelet adorned with white carnations and not much else. It was good enough. “Find everything okay?” the cashier said as she rang Melissa up. “I think so,” Melissa said. The cashier didn’t respond immediately, creating an awkward moment where Melissa had removed her card from the chip reader but hadn’t actually received her flowers. In fact, the cashier was staring off in the distance. When Melissa followed her gaze, she found the cashier was making googly eyes at Hitomu. “I think so,” Melissa said, a little louder this time. “Oh! Sorry,” the cashier said. She quickly handed over the flowers. “Um, make sure these go into a refrigerator as soon as you can. Like, go right home, maybe spritz some water on them, and into the fridge. We’ve already lost some roses today, I’d hate the same thing to happen to you and ruin your night.” Melissa didn’t need to be told twice. The walk home was fine. It was quicker than the walk to the shop for so many reasons Melissa didn't want to spend the time going through them all, but it was fine. The only notable moment was when her phone buzzed and she was greeted with yet another group chat. There were actually two messages accompanying the notification. Melissa briefly wondered how she had missed the first one, but quickly put question aside. She was frazzled enough, she didn’t need that extra question. Kyouko is going to the kickoff and has offered/asked if any of us will as well. I plan to, so if you want to as well, it would be beneficial to the club as a whole to get a view on two other Duelist’s styles of Dueling as well as get a bit of scouting on whoever the Duel Team has this year. and Do you know who I am? Of course I ain’t going. If you pry this controller from my cold dead hands and drag me out, I’d still look for a way to escape and go back home. Have fun though. the messages read. Melissa wasn’t entirely sure how she felt about being added to another group chat, but at the moment it was probably fine, right? Just the two messages, that was manageable. She actually had a response, too. She couldn't believe it, but she did. Just three simple words: From: Melissa I’ll be there. Melissa turned the knobs of the shower and just stood there under the spout. The water was freezing, but she didn’t care. She tried to just let the water wash away the entire day so far. At the same time, though, she’d heeded the cashier’s words to the letter. So many things had the potential to ruin Gabriela’s date, but that wasn’t going to be one of them. Now, she just had to focus on herself. She went through her mental checklist. Her dress? Shoes? Those were ready. Her dress was hanging right in the middle of her closet, ready to be taken out and put on at a moment’s notice, and her shoes were right underneath. Dinner plans? Made. Gabriela had agreed to the meetup and it was just a quick walk down to the restaurant. After that, well, everything else had hopefully been planned by the committee in charge of the Kickoff Festival. What about herself? Was she ready? The water pouring from the showerhead was slowly heating up. Steam was starting to form. What else was on her checklist? Gabriela was probably ready. She’d seemed confident in her outfit choice and that was the only thing out of Melissa’s control so, yeah, “probably ready” was the best way to put it. Her contingencies? Ruined already -- Ashley Rendleman had made sure of that -- but what else could go wrong? What was worse than being noticed? So that was a wash. Was she ready? The water was almost-but-not-quite scalding. Steam was everywhere; the poor vent in the ceiling was helpless against the sheer quantity of the stuff emanating from the shower. Was Melissa Ashforth ready for tonight? “Ready as I’ll ever be.” “[…]and this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also—not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God. It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ” 1 Peter 3:21 (NIV)
