Get your game on with GX-themed support in DP23! DP23-JP014 Generation Next Quick-Play You can only activate one card with this card’s name per turn. 1. If your LP are lower than your opponent’s: Choose 1 “Elemental HERO” monster, “Kuriboh” Monster, or “Neo-Spacian” monster whose ATK is equal to or lower than the difference in LP between you and your opponent from your Deck or Graveyard, and add it to your Hand or Special Summon it, but you cannot activate its effect or the effects of cards with the same name this turn. This card features art from the opening animation of the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Anime! The support of Dark Magic continues in the upcoming Duelist Pack! DP23-JP004 Kuromajutsu no higi* / Dark Magic Secrets Quick-play Spell Select and activate 1 of the following effect(s): -Fusion Summon 1 Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck using monsters you control or in your hand, including at least 1 “Dark Magician” or “Dark Magician Girl”, as fusion materials. -Ritual Summon 1 Ritual Monster from your hand by tributing monster(s) you control or in your hand, including at least 1 “Dark Magician” or “Dark Magician Girl”, whose combined levels are greater than or equal to the level of the Ritual Monster. *Literally “Secret Art(s)” but the naming convention in English has been “Dark Magic [single word]” so far. Make a Clear Mind card with Endoh’s face in it already, you cowards. Synchro Chase Continuous Spell Card You can only use the (1) effect of this card’s name once per turn. (1) If you Synchro Summon a “Warrior”, “Synchron” or “Stardust” Synchro monster: You can target 1 of the materials used for that Synchro Summon in your GY; Special Summon it in Defense Position. (2) Your opponent cannot activate cards or effects in response to the activation of the effects of your Synchro Monsters whose Original names include “Warrior”, “Synchron” or “Stardust”. They are cosplaying each other now. Zubababanchou – Gagaga Coat EARTH/Warrior Level 4 1800/100 You can only use the (1) and (2) effects of this card’s name once per turn. (1) If you control a “Zubaba” or “Gagaga” monster except “Zubababanchou – Gagaga Coat”: You can Special Summon this card from your hand. (2) You can target 1 “Gogogo” or “Dododo” monster in your GY; Special Summon it, but for the rest of this turn, you cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck, except Xyz Monsters. TL note: a “banchou” is the name for the leader of a bunch of delinquents. Need a second “Pendulum” Summon? No problem! DP23-JP047 Entermate Pop-Up (Performapal Pop-Up) Normal Spell Card You can only activate 1 of this card’s name per turn. Super Quant support filling other colors surely has been done by at least a couple of card makers by now, but here is my take on it, anyway. Thoughts, suggestions, ideas, etc. are welcomed. Super Quantum Yellow Layer EARTH/Warrior/Effect/Level 2 800/1000 When this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can Set 1 "Super Quant" Spell/Trap directly from your Deck. If this card is sent to the GY: You can send 1 "Super Quant" Spell/Trap from your Deck or that is banished to the GY. You can only use each effect of "Super Quantum Yellow Layer" once per turn. Squire stats and Reinforce Truth support, let's go! Super Quantum Black Layer DARK/Cyberse/Effect/Level 6 2400/1000 If you control no monsters, or all monsters you control are "Super Quant" monsters, you can Normal Summon this card without Tributing. When this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can Special Summon 1 "Super Quant" monster from your Deck in Defense Position, except "Super Quantum Black Layer", but it cannot activate its effects. If this card is sent to the GY: You can target 1 "Super Quant" Spell/Trap in your GY; add it to your hand. You can only use each effect of "Super Quantum Black Layer" once per turn. Monarch stats for extra support. Super Quantal Mech Beast Landwolf EARTH/Machine/Xyz/Effect/Rank 2 1000/2500 2 Level 2 monsters Cannot attack unless it has Xyz Material. Once per turn: You can detach 1 material from this card, then target 1 Spell/Trap in either player's GY; banish it, and if you do, until the end of this turn, its effects are negated, as well as the activated effects and effects on the field of cards with the same original name. This is a Quick Effect if this card has "Super Quantum Yellow Layer" as material. Once per turn: You can attach 1 "Super Quantum" monster from your hand or field to this card as material. Kind of a "Called by the Grave" for Spell/Traps to complement Grampulse's Spell/Trap control, but unlike the Quick-Play Spell this cannot target monsters and thus it is not as practical for on-spot negation unless a copy of the activated Spell/Trap is already in either player's GY. It can still be used as a D.D.Crow for Spell/Traps, though. Super Quantal Mech Beast Megalligator DARK/Machine/Xyz/Effect/Rank 6 2400/2800 2 Level 6 monsters Cannot attack unless it has Xyz Material. Once per turn: You can detach 1 material from this card, then target 1 monster in either player's GY or that is banished; shuffle it into the Deck, and if you do, its effects are negated, as well as the activated effects and effects on the field of cards with the same original name. This is a Quick Effect if this card has "Super Quantum Black Layer" as material. Once per turn: You can attach 1 "Super Quantum" monster from your hand or field to this card as material. This one instead is more akin to "Called by the Grave", and intended to complement Lusterrex. Super Quantal Mechamaterialization Quick-Play Spell Activate 1 of these effects: • Target 1 "Super Quantum" monster in your GY: Special Summon from your Extra Deck, 1 "Super Quantal Mech Beast" Xyz Monster with the same Attribute as that monster, and if you do, attach the targeted monster and this card to it as Xyz Material (This is treated as an Xyz Summon.) • Target 1 "Super Quantal Fairy Alphan" in your GY; Special Summon 1 "Super Quantal Mech Beast" Xyz Monster from your Extra Deck, and if you do, attach the targeted monster and this card to it as Xyz Material (This is treated as an Xyz Summon.) You can only activate 1 "Super Quantal Mechamaterialization" per turn. The card that practically motivated me to work in a set. I first planned to drop this as a single but then felt like filling the "holes" left by the Super Quants, such as Lusterrex dealing with effects of monsters on board but not being able to negate monster effects anywhere else. Also wanted to give them more monsters to cycle and play the above Spell a bit more.

That's not how it works, though? Official Rulings say you can add 2 Utopic Onomatopeia, one counting as a Gagaga and one as a Gogogo, to your hand with Onomatopaira. No reason you can't add this + Gagaga, this + Zubaba, or this + this.

Happy Spooktober [IGAS] Ghostrick Fairy DARK/Spellcaster Level 2 900/1000 Cannot be Normal Summoned, unless you control a “Ghostrick” monster. (1) Once per turn: You can change this card to face-down Defense Position. (2) When this card is flipped face-up: You can target 1 “Ghostrick” card in your GY; Set it on your field, but banish it when it leaves the field. Then, you can change face-up monsters your opponent controls to face-down Defense Position up to the number of face-down cards you control. As time moved on, Citron’s mind… Didn’t, stuck on the herbs she had just rashly stuffed into her bag. What if any of the others had seen? Would they suspect her of being a petty thief, having lied earlier about her background as a merchant--? Surely they would understand that she was just taking them so she could ask about them later, y'know, to keep herself from forgetting about it and all that. They would understand that she wasn’t trying to steal them, and was going to purchase them or give them back if she couldn’t, right? I mean, they had to believe her, right? She had only… Been responsible for a little bit of property damage after all. “Mmm… Maybe I should ask someone about what I should do…” She trailed off, muttering to herself as she tried to decide who she could go to about her self-inflicted problem. Her first idea was that she could have gone to Cora, but the guardswoman seemed a bit uptight at times, even if she was the only true local in the group. Her next thought was Edrick, but… He was a bit younger than her, and she didn’t want to wrap him up in something this stupid. She then had the idea that she could possibly go to the Armoured Guy since he seemed pretty nice, but he... also gave off the air of someone who might turn her in for the greater good or something. But all of those thoughts, would soon disappear as she realized she was no longer alone. Quiet murmurs of someone else talking to themselves caught her attention, as she wheeled around to see the woman known as… Penelope. The wyvern rider’s heart sank as she stared the woman up and down, as even if the proverbial predator was preoccupied with books for now… She didn’t exactly trust it would last for long. However, with seemingly pressing matters being weighed against one another, a frankly awful idea soon approached her mind. “Hello, uh, excuse me, Miss Penelope,” Citron cleared her throat a little bit, wincing as she herself shuffled around a bit. “I, uh… I was wondering if I could, um, y’know since you seem pretty smart and all, ask you a few questions? About, a hypothetical situation, I mean,” she continued, rambling a bit as she rubbed the side of her neck. “Specifically about, uh, if someone had, really stupidly and rashly, grabbed something they probably shouldn’t have, thinking that they wanted to ask the owner some questions about it, I was wondering what you would think they should actually do, after realizing that they look kinda a lot like, a petty thief.” She continued, stringing words and run on sentences together like someone trying to build the least stable bridge to ever exist.

OK, I know this is super pedantic, but... I think you mean "Every day" rather than "Everyday". Anyways, I'm not too well versed in poetry, but I do enjoy editing, so I thought I'd drop my two cents here. If I'm gonna be honest, certain aspects of the poem feels pretty muddled: Issue 1: Consistency in the lines. Having "Someone" becomes "Someone's" then changes back to "Someone" throws things off. Line 9's length also throws things off. Keep things consistent -OR- break all forms of consistency. This kinda leads into the second issue... Issue 2: Random rhyming/non rhyming. Stick to one or the other, OR if you want both, make an obvious transition spot between the unrhymed lines and rhymed ones. Issue 3: Word association + idiomatic expressions. Not that big here, but you generally want to avoid using idiomatic words/phrases as it takes a person out of what you are trying to say. For me, one of these was "nice...naughty". Sorry if I sounded too negative about this. I really like the short stanza structure and the content seems to reflect what you wanted to say very well. I just hope that I was helpful in giving you ideas to tweak it to make it even better! Cheers!

Super Quantum Yellow Layer: Stat wise, 800/1000, I understand it being an Edea target... But, Edea unfortunately has a built in Extra Deck restriction after using its effect which works against how Super Quantums play which is solely getting into Extra Deck whether they are able to make Great Magnus or not. While the search is nice... I remember a great deal of there Spells and Traps where really situational or unwieldy. Perhaps your Spell is the best thing to search next to the Field Spell. The sending Spell/Trap effect is only good for sending Super Quantal Alphan Spike and any thing that you need your Black Layer to pick up. Super Quantum Black Layer: Is a more precise means of pulling out the Super Quantal you want from your Deck compared to Alphan, but unlike Alphan you don't get all those sweet benefits of sending a bunch of Super Quantals to the GY, and it even prevents the other Super Quantal effect from activating. But I suppose it is for the best given if this thing is Summoned by Alphan you can probably get a lot of resources with ease. The Spell/Trap recovery effect does give offer possible fuel for the Field Spell or way to pull out your ideal Quick-Play Spell... So there is potential with that effect. Super Quantal Mech Beast Landwolf: Unlike Called by the Grave, it hits Spells and Traps which is interesting. Thing of it is though, is that it is a lot more situational compared to Called by the Grave because Normal/ Quick-Play Spells and Traps stay on the field until they resolve... Whereas all the annoying hand traps that "Called by the Grave" deals with send themselves to GY prior to fully resolving. Even with Grampulse, I could hardly imagine common usage of the effect. It simply relies too much on what your opponent has activated in the past. If anything, I think of it more as an alternative step into making Great Magnus since its Layer counterpart at least has some quality use to the Deck. Super Quantal Mech Beast Megalligator: In the situation where your opponent has Ash Blossom prior to you trying to pull off Alphan or this guy's Layer counterpart, that would kind of be a terrible hindsight to deal with. To put it shortly yeah Called by the Grave has a great effect, but I feel this is more likely going to deal with threats in the Graveyard and less likely going to deal with hand traps compared to Called by the Grave. Its effect will vary in match ups. But, again it is a step to making Great Magnus and its Layer counterpart has some good uses as well. Super Quantal Mechamaterialization: This thing pretty good, and as I said before it would outshine most of the other Spells and Traps... It offers set-up into making Great Magnus, or it gives you one of their Mechbeast Xyz to retaliate. It does require some GY set-up, but that can be done by discards with the Field Spell or Green Layer, White Layer, or Alphan... So in all it ties well with the Deck. Overall, I like that you try to incorporate more usage into the Spells and Traps even though most of the Spells and Traps are meh. The Xyz are... okay, but at the very least their Layer counterparts help the Deck nicely and these Xyz are alternative steps to making Magnus. And I can see why it would be hard to balance final distribution effects given the existing Xyz members cover a pretty wide range of utility... So I think the balance there is justified. And the Quick-Play Spell is amazing. As far as flavor goes... I don't really know if you hit the mark. I am not very familiar with what archetype is referencing... So sorry I have no input to give you there.

Kenta nor the Machop seemed all to worried about the Peck attack. Even as the Machop got beaten down, clearly low health, neither of them gave in. In fact they just seemed more determined than ever to win this fight. And as Kenta called for another Karate Chop the Machop dove into the air and brought the hand down and managed to bypass the reflect and land a critical strike right to the forehead of the Inkay. "Why are you so interested in this region, by the way?" "What? Huh? Whatcha asking me that for? It's uhh...you know, that." Kenta said, scratching his cheek. "It's a whole new world we live in ya know. It's a whole new way to see. A whole new place, with a brand new attitude....right, Chad? That's what you said right?" Off to the side Chad rolled his eyes. "You're getting confused with that stupid idol, I never said anything like that." "Oh yeah!....Sorry, I don't really know, I just thought it'd be fun?" ----- "Tsk, dammit Kenta..." Chad muttered as Oswald made his swap. "Didn't think he'd pull a double so quick." The Ducklett took the majorly effective move and fell to the ground. Though it wasn't out quite yet. "I could return but...no, no time for that. Don't want to take a hit going in. Ducklett, Wing Attack!" Chad called out. The Water bird took back up to the air and started to fly in Archie's direction. Wings glowing with energy. Before reaching the Mareep, and to avoid any attack, Chad called for the Ducklett to pull up. And, once it reached its peak, "Now Water Gun!" the Ducklett shot out a jet of water at the sheep Pokemon. "Gotta do as much damage as you can before you go down, keep it up!" Chad ordered the Ducklett. --- Naomi, without much to do, decided to flop to the side and rest her head on the grass nearby. She watched the others without really seeing them. Gazing off into the distance. Though, while it seemed she was up to her usual, she was actually thinking. She had wanted to win that fight. It was a weird feeling. And it didn't help her win. But...she had the strangest feeling that she was starting to understand something. Fuyumi for her part moved with elegance and purpose. Putting herself behind Chad as she watched the fight going on like a hawk. Observing Archie and the Ducklett's every move. And even turning her cold gaze to Oswald himself as he called out moves.

A bit confused about the card. If I understand the effect correctly, it's intended to allow an Xyz monster to go through as many of its forms as possible, but IIRC only a handful of Numbers have more than 2 forms, for example, from the top of my head, Utopia and Shark Drake. The gimmick seems lost then, except for amusing and potentially overpowering Utopia overlays. Actually I took a look and Shark Drake only has a C form, while many of the Utopia forms do not list the original Utopia so you cannot go for a long chain of Xyz evolutions through this card. That makes the consecutive effect more situational but at least it's less likely to break anything.
