  1. This one's a new original on me. Did my best to make this Xyz-climbing group of Preservers the best they could be. Expect this to be longer? Nope, fellas, this time you'll have to click the spoilers and witness the awesomeness for yourself. Now, let's a'go...... Preserver Archetype: Monsters Preserver Archetype: Spells/Traps Preserver Archetype: Extra Deck Monsters THERE WILL. BE MORE. IN COMING. This set is well and complete now, fellas. BD'S, signing off.
  2. Or as the name of this topic is translated in Gifenese:) Okay, so basically, Interplanetarymutistellarhydrostatic is a pair of DARK monsters, both Level 5, that happen to work off stuff on the field destroying. IPPT Dragon Summons from the hand, and IPPT Beast from the GY, upon banishment, when it would hit the GY again. Somehow, I thought expanding on this was a good Idea. This had made many people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move. So here are the fruits of my labor, metamorphosed into an Archetype just for you all. Enjoy. Interplanetarypurplythorny Monsters Interplanetarypurplythorny Spells/Traps Interplanetarypurplythorny Boss More will be coming soon. This set's super done, folks. Enjoy at will. BD'S, signing off. UPDATE 1: IPPT Reptile, Wyrm and Planetarypurply Gazer are up now. UPDATE 2: Final two Spell/Traps and the Interplanetarypurplythorny Machine is up.
  3. Technically, since the original Ariel downgrades her Level as well, it may have some dovetailing in terms of her effect. But I understand. Urgent Ritual Art effect sounds potent, but I question the 1:1ing of original Synchro/Xyz effect to Nekroz effect, since the best Ritual of the bunch - Nekroz of Unicore - has almost no relevance to its original form. Regarless, changing the effect now. Thanks for the counsel.
  4. First time in singles, gotta go out of my way to put in a card that can really stand out, really show my original spirit, really help bring some underdog Archetype in the TCG to some level of feasili- Or this, this works too I guess. So what inspired this newfound addition to the Most Busted Ritual Deck Ever, besides two pounds of cough syrup and Daigusto Phoenix? Simple. A way to actually put out the final hurrah for a Deck that bucked the trend of mediocrity so hard it literally ran the meta for several months. I've always been idly impressed with how they showed that over-reliance on a Spell didn't mean you had to be a sitting duck in the hand. YOU HEAR THAT, WITCHCRAFTERS? So I took the only Extra Deck Level/Rank 2 Monster from the Duel Terminal, gave it to the only Ritual-less member of the Archetype, and, well, this does a lot to extend a play. Returning up those banished Ritual Spells is a quick way to +2 (considering the discard of this card), Summoning the crew from your hand (that means everyone but Nekroz of Sophia, check the Attribute) and being able to quick-play surprise your opponent with Ritual Spells shows a way to elicit multiple attacks as the Phoenix does. Besides, Ariel is best girl until we find out if that U.A. Referee is gonna be debuted. And I wouldn't have it any other way. So for the first time on NCM, I'll close out with my patented catchphrase in full: May the reviews and revelry arrive in abundance for this pixelated treasure. B-D be praised. Black D'Sceptyr, signing off.
  5. UPDATED, with the new Heart Monster Heartstopper, Land Development Field Spell, and the Chaos Heartlandraco evolution! AND NOW, with the final cards, bringing to an even 12!
  6. Soul Impulse/Normal Trap Card Lore: When your opponent Summons a monster: Apply the appropriate effect, depending on the Summon type. * Normal/Flip: Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower DARK monster from your hand. * Special Summon: Discard 1 card, and if you do, immediately after this effect resolves, Normal Summon 1 Level 5 or higher DARK monster from your hand, also draw 1 card. BD'Switchlog: So yeah, if this card's got a brand new addition to its effect to accommodate Special Summons, by using Normal Summons. Eat your heart out Monarchs. That effect also discards cards, and not as a cost either, so to all those who thought they were escaping Dark Worlds and Danger! today.... NEXT UP: Bashing Shield
  7. So. Mr. Heartland. Chucklehead extraordinaire, a manipulator with green hair, and thick glasses to hide a soul he'd sell to Zorc for a Swiss roll. (NailedIt.png) Anyways, in the ZeXal Manga, Mr. Heartland's up to around the same things he was before, adding on impersonating the dead and grand theft. No seriously, second-to-last big antagonist lost family to this s***-heel's last attempt, it's fitting he literally uses a card called "Court Battle" to end that moss-haired wastrel. Most of the stuff ol' Madoff. Jr used against Kyoji, though, were Heart Monsters. Most were vanilla, but since the Field Spell, Land Power, insured them from ever being attacked and his key Xyzes could attack directly (Heartlandraco) or with 3000 ATK (Diamond Crab King) with ease, he didn't have to have big boards. I say, let's reimagine that. Make it bigger. Make it better. MAKE IT HAVE GEMINIS. Nothing around 10-12 cards supporting Heartland's Heart Monsters can't fix! Roll it! Heart Archetype: Monsters Heart Archetype: Spells/Traps Heart Archetype: Extra Deck Monsters There will still be more stuff, do not worry your little heart. This set is hella finished-enjoy it well, my fellow cardmakers! BD'S, signing off.
  8. Is a Madolche win in Worlds considered the 'let the world burn' option, or is that still Mystic Mine? Inquiring mind (misspelling intending) wants to know.

  9. *Eric Andre shooting both Rank-Up Magic Launch and Rank-Up Magic Argent Chaos where they sit.

    *turns to camera

*Why are Gimmick Puppets so bad even with the new support?

    1. The Warden

      The Warden

*Places a bouquet of flowers on both of their graves*

  10. Limit Impulse/Normal Trap Card Lore: Discard 2 cards, and if you do, Special Summon 2 "Soul Tokens" (Fiend-Type/DARK/Level 1/ATK 0/DEF 0). These Tokens cannot be Tributed, except for a Tribute Summon. If you control no monsters, you can activate this card from your hand by revealing 1 Level 7 or higher Fiend monster in your hand, but you cannot Special Summon monsters for the rest of the turn, except DARK monsters. NEXT UP: Final Flame
  11. Am thinking that maybe that Dark Occultism is about to do numbers with that new Earthbound....and we may be getting Arc-V's take on them in the future considering that first effect. Any further ayes in the crowd?

    1. Blake

      Blake

We're not getting the Arc-V Earthbounds, especially not here.

First off, this is a Duelist Pack. All game original cards for anime characters/themes.

Secondly, the Collector's Pack that's about to drop would be where those cards would end up seeing release, most likely. Either that or a Premium Pack, but there's a lot of cards to shove in one of those smallish sets.

And to top that off, the cards we have revealed are Bakura's five cards, an Evil HERO, an Earthbound, a Gimmick Puppet, and a Predaplant. This means that Earthbound is considered to be the 5D's rep of the set, so it will absolutely not relate to the Arc-V iteration.

Makes me sad we got those damn bees instead of Earthbound Servants.

    2. Black D'Sceptyr

      Black D'Sceptyr

Aye, I more meant "in packs yet to come rather than the Collector's Pack, but the rest of what you said is sound. Well, outside of the broadside against Battlewasps, give me all that generic insects over Field-Spell dependant D/D/D wannabes every day and twice on Sunday.

Am curious to see how, or if, these five Archetypes are supported beyond this. I may be putting together another card set to try and beat them out in terms of effects. Won't be too too big, but enough to flesh out new ways forward for 'em.

  12. So. Brooke & Mayday Walker. Brooke's Anna Kaboom's former mentor, and Mayday's her husband, and they both get corrupted by the Barian force in ZeXal and try to take it to Yuma and Anna, and yet despite Anna and Yuma being at each other's throats because of course Anna can handle them alone, it's still one of the most compelling times of ZeXal yet. This time, I decided that this counted as "singles" rather than "support", since the Archetype isn't TCG-bound yet. However, Brooke's apprentices's support makes for such an amazing flurry base of support for it that I'm eager to show how I can make this viable with a few new cards. And by that I mean within 10 cards EXACTLY. Also, this time, I'll be mentioning which massive ship/aircraft/spacecraft they're based on, which are usually doomed yet big vessels of history. That begins on the first wave of new support. Until then, enjoy. (also for some reason its called the Supercolossal series, but whachagonnado) Supercolossal Monsters Supercolossal Spell/Trap Cards Supercolossal Extra Deck Monsters BD'S, signing off. UPDATE I: The Level 10s are now in-with the Unreachable Kingstallion and the Submarine Seversta. UPDATE II: Final entry comes with the Walkers' counterpart to Train Connection - the Equip Spell Supercolossal Bulkhead
  13. Congrats to Metaphys on the three new Gold Sarcophagi.

  14. Alright, changed up some more of the cards as according to your direction, and added the final ones. Just a note, since I've noticed its repeated concerns: Humilty's trigger works the same way as the Abyss-Scale Equip Spells; its a lingering effect of the turn that goes off after it resolves, allowing it to catch even effects before it in its same chain as part of its effect. That it is Special Summoned afterwards is usually a side effect, considering, like Impcantation Chalislime, it can discard itself to activate its effect, and thus wouldn't self-summon since it's no longer in the hand. This way, it can be used as either a self-serve target immunity card, or that AND a self-summoned monster. One part can be sacrificed for the sake of the other. So it is worded properly. Nevertheless, I have made its Summoning easier.
  15. Alright, updated everything-including Iofiel, Humility, and the Shrine-but the others are mostly staying the same. Reason is that the strategy is based around not only working around not being able to attack, but having multiple avenues of Summon to work around all types of Summon locks-both restrictions placed on their chief draw card, known as Cards from the Sky, which places both a Special Summon and Battle Phase lock for the privilege of banishing a Fairy to draw 2. This way, not only is the spirit of the original Archlord user's Deck preserved (Reggie MacKenzie's, in using small ATK boosts to augment a field and Kristya to prevent a proper defense from being marshalled against you.) Everything is based around those twin mechanics, being a more control-focused version of True Kings. That's what I'm going for. Anyways, you've got four new cards to look over now; Quetzalcoatl and Vach, the Omen in the Sky, and the Level 9 Convergence Fusion Uriel.
  16. Elemental HERO Synchronicler/LIGHT/Warrior-Type Effect Monster/Level 4/1400 ATK/1300 DEF Lore: If a "HERO" monster(s) you control is sent to the GY to activate an effect, or by an opponent's card effect: You can Special Summon this card from your hand. You can banish 1 "Synchron" Tuner from your Deck or Extra Deck: Special Summon 1 Normal Monster from your Deck with the same Level and Type as that monster, and if you do, you can make that Summoned monster's name become the banished monster's name. You can only use each effect of "Elemental HERO Synchronicler" once per turn. NEXT UP: A card that works on either Searching or Summoning monsters with a non-archetypal Field Spell specifically listed in their text ("The Sanctuary in the Sky", "Umi", etc.)
  17. Been a while, but I've been cooking up something amazing in the interim. Okay, so you know the Archlord Archetype? Okay, rephrasing. You know about the duo of cards that is less an "archetype" and more "Reason #1 Why Fairies Don't Get Generic Support Anymore And Friend?" I've decided to delve more into their backstory. And don't you fret; these will not be the only place that they debut. So enjoy. NOW WITH OUR NEW FEATURE CALLED "ACTUALLY LETTING YOU KNOW WHAT INSPIRED THE NAMES OF THESE GUYS!" New Archlords: Main Deck Monsters New Archlords: Spells/Traps New Archlords: Extra Deck Monsters BD'S, signing off. P.S., there will be more cards coming in the next week. UPDATE I (4/2/2019): You've got new cards, as promised. UPDATE II (4/10/2019): And the set is now complete with the last six cards. Think this might be enough to make sure the Sanctuary Fairies do numbers now.
  18. Your Oracle of BD'elphi update: Salamangreat Link-4 just dropped has 2800 ATK, the word "Phoenix" in its name, Firewall Link Arrows, and three effects-1 that destroys cards, one that manipulates ATK, and 1 that burns the opponent. Since they were released 12 hours apart, which d'ya think's better:

    Their Pyro? https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Salamangreat_Pyro_Phoenix

    ....or myTitian? https://forum.yugiohcardmaker.net/topic/377279-link-4-salamangreat-titian-phoenix-ahead-of-the-curve-and-awoken-from-the-flames/

  19. Chow Chow Chan/EARTH/Beast-Type Effect Monster/✪✪/800 ATK/800 DEF Lore: You can discard 1 "Chow Chow Chan": Special Summon this card from your GY. When your opponent activates a Spell/Trap Card or monster effect in response to your monster's attack or card effect that targets a monster(s) they control (Quick Effect): You can discard this card; negate the activation, and if you do, destroy that card. BD'Switchlog: So now you can use spare Chow Chows to summon used Chow Chows. This effect now affects ANY card or effect that would be activated in response to an effect of yours that targets a monster your opponent controls; whether for attack or by effect. And it can also activate if you make multiple targets, including a monster they control. Tis' important. NEXT UP: Unbreakable Spirit
  20. So we're all in favor of calling Zefras "Burning Abyss With Scales" now?  'cause they're doing crazy ish with Endymions in TCG and with Yang Zings in OCG.

  21. Dark Cat With White Tail/EARTH/Beast-Type Flip Effect Monster/✪✪/800 ATK/500 DEF Lore: FLIP: Return 2 monsters your opponent controls and 1 monster you control to their owners' hands, then each player takes 700 damage for each Special Summoned monster returned to the hand this way. If your opponent inflicts damage to you while you control no cards: You can Special Summon this card from your hand in face-down Defense Position, and if you do, you take no further battle damage this turn. You can only use this effect of "Dark Cat With White Tail" once per Duel. BD'Switchlog: Burns your opponent too. Can self-summon on the fly, on an empty field, once per Duel. And it nullifies battle damage as wel for the rest of the turn, basically becoming an in-hand Waboku (and a public-domain Siquiltous) NEXT UP: Master Craftsman Gamil
  22. Daigusto Koris/WIND/Psychic-Type Synchro Effect Monster/✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪/2800 ATK/1500 DEF Lore: 1 Tuner + 1+ non-Tuner "Gusto" monsters If this card is Synchro Summoned: You can activate this effect; until the end of the next turn, your opponent must pay 500 LP to activate a Spell/Trap or non-WIND monster's effect (even if this card leaves the field). WIND monsters you control cannot be targeted by card effects. Once per turn, if there are less cards in your hand than WIND monsters in your GY; You can discard 1 card; Special Summon 1 WIND monster from your hand or GY with 1500 or less DEF. NEXT UP: A Synchro that requires a Synchro Tuner for its Summon.
  23. Elder Entity Bahst/DARK/Fairy-Type Fusion Effect Monster/✪✪✪✪/2250 ATK/1700 DEF Lore: 2 Synchro or Xyz Monsters Must be either Fusion Summoned with the above Fusion Materials, or Special Summoned by banishing the above cards from your field or theGYs (in this case, you do not use "Polymerization"). Once per turn: You can reveal your entire hand, and if you do, destroy cards on the field, equal to the number of revealed cards. If this card is sent to the GY, except from the Extra Deck: You can Special Summon 2 Fairy or Fiend monsters whose total Levels exactly equal 4 or 8 (1 each from your Deck and Extra Deck). NEXT UP: Don't care if it's a person, place (maybe) or thing: but how's about a Fusion based on either a character or treasured item from another fantasy? Say, Once Upon a Time?
  24. Tidal Walker/WATER/Machine-Type Xyz Effect Monster/Rank 2/1800 ATK/600 DEF Lore: 2 Level 2 WATER monsters with 1000 or less ATK/DEF Once per turn: You can target 1 monster in your GY; this card's name becomes that monster's name, until the End Phase. Once per turn: You can detach 2 materials from this card; both players take 400 damage for each monster on the field and in the GYs with the same name as this card, then you can apply 1 of these effects, based on the amount of damage both players took. • Draw 1 card for every 1200 points of damage your opponent took. • Special Summon 1 WATER Xyz Monster from your Extra Deck with 1 Rank for every 800 damage both players took, by using this card as the material. (This is treated as an Xyz Summon.) You'd be suprised which WATER monsters can easily bring this out-and what this can bring out in turn with the right build (coughSwapFrogManiacough). NEXT UP: A Main Deck Zombie monster....that supports the "Assault Mode Activate" playstyle.
