      More seriously, our home internet was down for a while because they were replacing the copper wires with fibre optic as part of a countrywide switch, and we just got the internet back an hour ago. Been using only mobile internet and internet cafes and it sucked. Really bad. Now we have four times as fast internet

    I didn't feel this about other souls game but I feel like sekiro is a mediocre game whose popularity is entirely propped up by "le git gud you only hate it cuz ur bad ecks dee". Like, the game has no variety in gameplay at all, you don't do anything except parry for the whole game except for the occasional firecracker on animal bosses, and rarely even combat arts or items, and it got really boring. It just took forever to do anything and one slip up in your parries meant you die, by the time I got to things like the guardian ape I didn't even bother deflecting, I would just sprint away, wait for an obvious weakness/opening, and just nightjar slash in, nightjar slash out, repeat for 20 minutes to win at 100% HP and posture and all gourds still up, just had a sense of "ok, I get it, can the game end now?"

      I've been practically shilling it in an earlier status. It's called Black Survival Eternal Return. It's a remake of the original black survival. It's extremely good and only 309 mb so I really recommend it.

      Basically, for those who haven't played the original, it was sort of a VN-ish battle royale, with a bunch of twists. You don't move your character with the keyboard or mouse or anything, you just click the screen and it searches the area for 1 item or enemy among the items/enemies that are found in that area, and you move to other areas by clicking the move button. Weapons aren't found out and about generally, you need to craft them out of random junk you find by searching. The kicker is that over time areas become restricted and unrestricted and you cant enter them, so you often have to improvise or change your search routes as the item you were going to craft needs a material that is now in a restricted area for instance, very strategic.

      The sequel makes the game's movement same as that of a MOBA with actual movement, dodging, characters having 3-4 skills and an ult, etc, but with the same searching and restriction stuff.

    I am super extremely backlogged on the games I have, like, I still have pkmn UM, vc 4, nier automata, atelier ryza, rune factory 4, xenoblade chronicles X, the caligula effect overdose, AI the somnium files, catherine, SMT4 to beat, with dq builders 2 and bug fable on the horizon. Especially since I don't like to leave a game without beating its dlc/bonus/secret boss or just mastering it basically.

    It almost makes me want to just play some pick up and go game like granblue or something and forget it.


    Also I won't even mention that one game with the family estate on the island. With the witches. And the massacre. You know the one.

    Path of Exile 2 and path of exile 1 4.0.0 announced. Dang, that is pretty huge since PoE is basically the definitive game of the genre even now

      I mean, compared to BW nothing matches in story, and nothing matches BW2 in gameplay. But they're still pretty solid.

      I honestly prefer SM's story to BW's. But yea, SM has a much better story, while Ultra is mechanically a more complete game.

      I'm not big on SM / USUM personally. idk if you've played XY but its like that but a tad better, Even though I consider it a worse game than SM, it is without a doubt an upgrade except for the story. Definitely the way to experience Alola though
