    playing terraria on expert mode has given me a newfound appreciation for a lot of things in the game that I took for granted until doing this. would recommend.

      Everything hits as hard as an endgame mob right out the gate and it's the most bollocky crap ever. Also take way too long to kill

      once you get some actual gear they don't take very long to kill. you'll still get your ass exploded (especially on summoner) but that's what the shield of cthulhu is for.
