  1. technically not a question, but qwerty's input would be much appreciated
  2. At the end of each Halloween Masquerade, I do an event review all the same, but we're currently halfway into the event and I've got to say, I'm quite liking the event so far. Enough so that I want to gush a bit about the monsters we've got going so far. Non-monsters need not apply, unless it's to ask about a specific monster. If you're curious what the mastermind behind this event thinks of your monster, step right up.
  3. Hopefully monsters and members alike are enjoying the halloween festivities so far. Things are looking pretty nice, for which I am thankful.

  4. couldn't you just make an ooze with a higher concentration of whatever causes the brainwashing so that it's easier to get people in that range? if it's concentrated enough you may even be able to get those teenagers.
  5. so you don't actually know how the ooze would work on 18/19yo?
  6. if you're galactically feared but only globally reviled, does that mean earth is the only planet that hates your guts? do all the other planets think you're a swell guy?
  7. what's so bad about the hated arcade that they decided to call it that anyway?
  8. aight hopefully this either has an obvious answer I don't know about or really gets your noggin thinking. for what reason are we as mortal men put on earth by god, only to go to heaven when we die (unless you did some really fucked-up shit and didn't repent/fess up to it), instead of just being put in heaven in the first place and only getting the boot to hell if we've been naughty boys & girls?
  9. only if you're deep enough into a christian vs atheist debate. but the atheists who try to shit on religions aren't worth that much attention anyway so do with that what you will.
  10. The soundtrack of Road Rash 64 is real nice until you're about half an hour into the game and realize it's just 3-5 songs on loop. But the gameplay's fantastic so who cares?

You should play road redemption, it's a spiritual successor made by some guy who loved road rash and it kicks ass, chews it up, spits it out, and kicks it again.

  11. Do you like "is Pepsi okay?" memes? They imply you're second banana to Coke so I'm curious.
  12. What's the hardest part of eating a vegetable? The wheelchair.
  13. Oh baby, now this is an interesting forum game.

That video was glorious. Song also gets an 8/10 from me. Box forts are cool. Rather than my usual numeric scores, I'm gonna give this a letter grade. I give it a C-. I heard some non-C notes in the xylophone bits. I've seen my fair share of veggietales as a kid, but I don't remember this song. Probably because I'm too busy remembering every song from the episode about Jonah because I swear that's the only episode I can (mostly) remember start to finish. 8/10, Mr. Lunt's passion for cheeseburgers truly shines through and I do not blame him. Cheeseburgers are awesome.
  15. How do you feel about those old claims that metal is the devil's music? Also, what's the difference between a cucumber and a pickle? This is bothering me now that I'm thinking about it because I don't know.

7/10 Spaz posted this a couple pages back. Here's what I said to him. "I'm too used to the Neil Cicierega version. I can still hear "bustin' bustin' bustin' bustin' bustin' bustin'" in my head as I listen to this. A 6/10 classic." Also, you posted a playlist. Take care not to do that in this thread since they autoplay here. If you take out everything in the URL after ?index that should do it. I was very confused when Mr. Roboto started playing. "Sticks stones break bones" was my favorite part. 6/10. Not a song. Also not a song, but thanks for cleaning that up or whatever's going on. OP's suggestion. In light of what seems to have gone down in this thread while I was throwing away my old monitor and upgrading back to my older one, this seems appropriate. 8/10
  17. Why is this thread in Misc instead of AMA?
  18. 1, 2, 5, 4 me count so poor (gonna count, gonna count, gonna count now) 1! I can count to 1 2! I can count to 2 3! I can count to 3 4! I can't count no more! 1! What comes after 1? 2! What comes after 2? 3! What comes after 3? FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUR!

  20. "As for Hearthome, we're sending Kiyoko, Natsumi, Octavia, Raijin." Natsumi hadn't gotten much sleep last night. Between the encounter with that hell beast, it subsequently exploding - even if it was into something nice - a non-zero amount of poorly-timed visits from her loathsome duel spirit, and bad dreams about what she'd run into, the girl didn't get a proper night's sleep. And the result of that was Natsumi being in a bit of a haze throughout the morning. She'd been groggy leaving the room, sitting at the table, and lazily nibbling away at her food as Blues and Mr. E explained their mission. However, the mention of her home city and her name caused Natsumi to perk up a bit, paying closer attention to what Blues was saying. "Obviously, such a downtrodden and crime ridden city is an easy place to hide things, like blood rituals. The easiest way to get started is to look for a person known as Dread Knight. He's a vigilante that protects the city the best he can, and he'll have the most information of any of our contacts. I would like it if you could convince him to join our cause, but I doubt he will." Indeed... Natsumi hadn't seen Hearthome in its ruined state for very long, but she'd seen it get there, and... Best not to think about that. "Well, that's today's plans! Any questions?" While Zirco was concerned about one of their own - Hotaru, who Mr. E claimed simply wasn't ready for this undertaking - Natsumi wasn't going to stop to think about the ones who weren't cut out for this or the ones who didn't want to be. There wasn't much anyone could do to bring them back into the group really, so it was best to focus on what could be done with the remaining Signers. Natsumi took the cup of coffee she'd left sitting next to her plate of food, and threw her head back, guzzling down the entire mug in one go. The scrunched-up look on Natsumi's face did plenty to speak of how she felt about the taste, but it did wonders to snap her out of this tired groggy haze. "I'm aware such a thing likely won't be up to date, but can the group going into Hearthome receive a map of the city? Ideally, I'd like one that outlines which territories are under the controls of which gangs."
  21. Location: Skrelp Harbor Poké: 1,000 "I'm gonna go to the Pokemon Center, okay?" "You don't have to tell me everywhere you go! I'm trying to concentrate!" "Wait," Kanon interjected. Raising up her hand, the raincoat-clad girl said "I'm coming too. If you could pick up Nomi off the ground and bring her along too, since you're the one who suggested she visit, that would be great." After all, she had her own pokemon to heal up too. Kenta was a pretty formidable opponent for Kanon's fledgling team to face off with. If she was going to be a trainer - something she still wasn't quite 100% on herself - she'd have to start taking it pretty seriously. Maybe doing some research was a good idea? Or... something. She wasn't sure. Adventures were complicated.
  22. Location: Road to Adarid (Team Alola) Inventory: Good Rod, Antidote, Kasib Berry "This won't take much time." When did he get behind me? The next thing Nani knew, the Lucario had struck her and sent her flying off to the side, the impact startling her enough to dispel the spectral bone she was ready to attack with. At least her properties as a Mimikyu were able to absorb the damage, but the impact was a different story. It still sent the girl flying, and it still did sting because of that. But that speed... that was quite a trick! Something Nani wouldn't mind borrowing herself for this fight, for sure. Getting back up to her feet, Nani eyed the Lucario over. His posture, the air he carried himself with, all that jazz... it didn't really tell her how he moved at such speeds, but it was enough that she'd be able to copy it. With an unexpected burst of speed of her own, Nani ran straight at the Lucario, as if to strike... and then continued right past him. Getting used to this sort of speed wasn't an instant thing. Nani stopped and turned. Marie was still down. Best to get her up. Nani ran off at those extreme speeds again, stopping at the Brionne's side, giving her a tap on the cheek. "Hey. That was really brave. And also really stupid. Get up; we need to get out of here and I've got a plan. Are you a good swimmer?" Getting on to her hands knees, Marie gives Nani a confused look before coughing and saying, "...yes?" "Great. Try not to do anymore stupid stuff for a minute or two." And then Nani darted off again, this time toward Keanu. "We need to bail. Do you think if both of us put our strength together, we could lift up Randy? I have an idea, but I don't actually know if it will work."
