Cannot say it is really NCM exclusive as I publicly host the code on GitHub under a permissive license; others are allowed to create copies, modify them, and host elsewhere. This allows others to continue, should I become unable/unwanting to continue supporting it.

That's a very respectable license. You probably could have profited off this (albeit a small amount) if you really wanted to, but keeping it free access shows a lot of integrity.

I decided a long time ago it was Clear Vice Dragon and I have no real reason for it to have changed.

I'm talking mechanically, not just for flavor. Even though the dex entry for Slowbro in Yellow mentions it'll devolve if the Shellder detaches, the fact that it can't happen in the game means it's just flavor rather than an actual mechanic, considering Slowpoke just evolves into it at a certain level and not when a Shellder bites it in game. Same goes for Magnetron and Dugtrio; they don't become those from 3 of their predecessors combining, just by reaching a certain level.

That'd be an interesting concept, though, rather than literally putting two Pokemon together to fuse them, they just evolve into a different variation if you have certain Pokemon in your party, and it consumes it in the process.

Actually no, it wouldn't need to consume it, just be exposed to it in some way. Like maybe have an item equipped to both, then when the affected Pokemon evolves, it takes on the form of the other wearer. Then you keep the other one and keep raising them as you please.

I mean I understand why pokemon just makes the process instant even though most pokemon would technically grow into their larger evos naturally. That being said, going in order of the dex, the first evo stone we are exposed to is the Thunderstone.

Playing a game for like 4 hours

Yemachu didn’t make the site. And it wasn’t made for when YCM was down, it was made to move on from a poorly run site. So nothing about this is correct, technically or otherwise.

Well, YCMaker made promises that he hasn't delivered on in nearly a year. So while I do like YCM, we wouldn't have a card maker at all if it wasn't for Yemachu. And it is nice to have NCM around for when YCM dies like it did right now.

Yemachu made the card maker, yes, but the site was Torm + me, cow, Dova, and Broken putting it together.

And while people are welcome to come here, it’s not just a backup site. There are no unfulfilled promises here.
