  1. "Oh, I'm curious about that too," Sieg muttered, attracting Lopt's attention. Maybe he would follow this curious fellow once all was said and done here. He seemed to have a good head on his shoulders, if this was anything to judge by. However, before he could thank his surprise supporter, someone else cut in, objecting to his question. How quaint. “I mean no offense, my dear,” Lopt turned to Elsie, pretending to be shocked, “only that... is it wise to throw someone with their entire life ahead of them into the fray? It’s a terrible thing to see someone as young as us die. Especially when many of us look so frail...” “I guess…” She replied. “I dunno, I’m not planning on dying any time soon.” "I don't believe any of us are... I'm certainly not." The rest of the group went through their motions, but Lopt's attention turned to Sieg once more. Not a Jaeger, but not a human? And with such clear disdain for Jaegers... Lopt couldn't help but be curious. "Heroes, huh? That does sound nice, but what Lopt brought up earlier is a valid point. Even if you were gathered here by Jekyll, don't feel as if you need to throw your lives away. You have your whole lives ahead of you... Truth is, usually Jekyll will just point me in a direction and tell me to get something done, and I'll do it. That's how it's been for the past two years. The fact that he thought it was necessary to call on all of you and place me in this team means he truly believes this is very dangerous. So if we're on a mission and you think it's too dangerous for you, feel free to hide behind me, and use me as your shield. That's what I'm here for," Sieg headed towards the door, before continuing. "If you don't think you can fight, it'll be best to head to the training area. I'll do my best to help you out, if you need it. It'll just... take like... half an hour for me to show up... so... no rush." Ah, he was the heroic type, even if he acted serious and coarse. All the more interesting! The more serious or oblivious they were, the more fun the nut was to crack... And Lopt figured he'd take that nut up on his offer. After all, he had just called himself frail and weak, so it only made sense to follow along, right? Time to 'toughen up' the traditional way. However, it seemed that the lusty cat had the same taste in targets as Lopt himself. "What's a big strong human man doing here with all us naughty beasts? Maybe Jekyll thinks you can make us behave... but I wonder how much experience from slaying dragons translates to cats..." Catriona giggled as she sidled up to Sieg. Lopt had to suppress the urge to roll his eyes, the idea that he had the same taste in targets as this woman turning his stomach. Well, no matter. He was better at it. Clearing his throat to announce his presence, Lopt spoke. "I'm very sorry to interrupt, but... You offered training, so I figured I'd tag along until then. After all, no harm in getting to know those I'll be working with, right? And despite the start, you seem fairly reliable."
  2. "Isn't that curious?" Shannon asked her companion, mostly rhetorically, "We've seen barely a soul, and then somebody just... waltzes in to where we're headed? It seems like something we should investigate!" Grabbing Jet by the hand, she pulled him along with her, trying her best to be sneaky. Of course, she was absolutely beaming with excitement, so it probably didn't mean much. And Jet was probably uncomfortable, but she was there to take care of him, so it would be okay! He needed a little tug, anyway. Things seemed to be going alright until the duo followed the figure into a room, only to be caught red-handed. "Oh my, it seems we were noticed... Well, it is no matter. After all, we're no plain Janes! We're the chos-" "Shannon." The girl froze as Luster appeared before her, a harsh look in his eyes. She had started to let something slip at the wrong time. Of course. There would be time for that later. "Ahem, rest assured that is not the case. Honestly, you look rather plain yourself. If it's so dangerous after curfew, why are you here all alone?" "Yes, the what now?" The girl looked directly at Luster. "It's very rude to interrupt a young lady when she's speaking, you know. As for me, I suppose it's the reverse?" She paused for a bit, thinking about that statement. "Yes, the reverse. I'm not out alone despite it being dangerous, see. It's dangerous because I'm out at all. Or something like that. Or was it, I'm out alone because it's dangerous..." Shannon nearly drew back for a moment, while Luster remained stoic, unmoving, though Shannon could tell he was agitated. This girl could see him? Did this mean she, too, was chosen? Or was this girl the opposite? "Oh, really? And what's so dangerous about you?" "What's so dangerous about you?" “That... but...” Shannon stammered, bewildered by the girl’s inane comeback. “You’re the one claiming you’re dangerous!” "And you're here confronting me," the girl retorted. "Meaning that you're either dangerous yourself, or incredibly stupid." “We are here because we are special!” The signer flaunted, puffing her chest out and placing her fingers against it daintily, “and there is someone we need to find!” "What a coincidence! I'm also trying to find someone!" Holding out her right hand, the girl proposed "How about we help each other find these people we're looking for?" “After that bit about being dangerous...? That sounds a bit fishy. What do you think, Jet?” Just as her spirit seemed to feel, Shannon felt like there was something off about this. She had gone in with excitement, but now she felt like a fight was brewing. Adjusting herself, she nodded to Luster who faded away again, awaiting her partner's response. Poor Jet, he was probably s confused over who this girl had addressed.
  3. "Hm..." After a short talk, head to sleep in the room as my servant works.
  4. “Noon it is, then.” Follow servant and wait patiently.
  5. Beauties and gentlebeauties! I return with the other half, though both are still in numerical order.
  6. Aaaaaaaaaaalrighty, did the first of them numerically, and here's what I got! Just remember, these aren't sorted by like within tiers, just by number.
  7. Things you like in an anime: Quality cast Quality soundtrack Gut-wrenching emotion Wholesome scenes Things you dislike in an anime: Fanservice, unless it goes absolutely overboard ala Kill La Kill. Serious harems Gore Pretentious writing Moe shit Idols may edit later My Anime List: have not used in years because i don't watch enough to categorize like that
  8. Dragonfly Cave hasn't updated the favorite Pokemon sorter with Gen 8, and I am impatient. The obvious solution is to make tier lists. https://tiermaker.com/create/pokemon-master-list-generations-1-8-217190 https://tiermaker.com/create/pokemon-master-list-part-2-495-890-217190 And I mean make. I spent hours getting the images gathered, resized, and uploaded. Sadly, can't all go in one thing, but that's life. Do as much or as little as you want, but every major Pokemon form is available, in numerical Pokedex Order, between the two. i will start work on mine when it is not fucking 3 am
  9. Working on the next post for the Shieldlocke!

On one hand, this is fun. On the other, God the constant cutscenes need to stop. Might just stop posting them, cause hoooly shit.

  10. "Anyone else finding it odd we don't gotta weave through traffic? Turbo is a busy city... right?" While Shannon had never been to Turbo, the lack of traffic was rather alarming. This place was named for Turbo Duels, and had a large amount of the population owning vehicles of some kind, right? Where were they? Was it connected to the cult the others were dealing with...? As the sirens filled the air, it became a bit more apparent. The curfew warning managed to ease her worst fears, at least a little. However, this was still a problem. As she was about to issue orders, Zirco beat her to it, telling her and Jet to head on. She didn't like taking orders from the hothead, but... He knew the area better than her, and he probably had a better idea of how to handle security, if his reaction was anything to go by. "... Be safe." Shannon spoke softly, a slight shake in her voice. Why was she uneasy? She didn't want Kyouji to see Zirco's dragon, so this was an optimal result, regardless of who gave the order. She just had to keep her chin up! Turning to Jet and hitting the gas, she gave him a thumbs-up. "Alright then, let's get moving! I'm sure the two of us can handle it! Just keep your chin up! Even if you fall, I'll catch you!"
  11. The Dragon Slayer had certainly earned Lopt's interest, but he would have to look into him later. For now, there was one thing that stood out to him about the room... "My, Jekyll... You sure like young people, don't you?" Still leaning forward from addressing Sieg, he tilted his head to the side to look Jekyll dead in the eye, "Do you really think that you can do something as grand as saving the world with children?" Lopt's eyes narrowed a bit, but his smile remained. He had a feeling that it would come to this, but why would he want to go near the Gate again? There was nothing left for him there, but this journey would surely take him there... And he had joined up with A.R.C.H. for fun. "I'm a bit of a traveler, you see," He looked around at each of his new 'teammates' as he spoke, "I've seen and heard about these 'Fahlyn' before. And I must say, they're not some beast you hunt for fun. Do you all really feel comfortable doing something like that? I'm sure Mr. Dragon Slayer won't have a problem I'm sure, but it is rather dangerous, and it doesn't look like some of us, myself included, are not well equipped to handle those dreadful things." Finished with his piece, Lopt picked up a muffin and began to eat it slowly. He didn't have to, he could just consume it... But that would ruin his image too soon, right? This was fine, if a bit tedious.
  12. "w-well, it's not really like...just knowing the language isn't the important part - er, uh... what does it matter to you anyway? You're an Aeoran right? If anything ancient Jouran and the like should be like, what, super bad heresy and stuff?" Then as if an after thought to the whole questioning of the clearly shamanistic girl, Edda simply muttered a forced sounding, "weirdo." Ada paused for a second, surprised. She had a bad habit of being forceful when it came to learning, but the response was... over the top. Being annoyed was one thing, but calling her a weirdo? What was with that?" "First off, I'm not Aeoran!" Ada growled a bit, stamping her feet in a rather cartoonish manner, "I'm from Vjorsovol! My father was Aeoran, but I have allegiance to no country! And what do you know about heresy? You don't live with the people you defend judging you or turning on you all the time! If you don't want to talk about it, say so, don't be such a... a... bitch!" Ada huffed and stomped further ahead, clearly at the end of her rope. The last thing she wanted to hear was how she was someone who didn't understand being out of place. The pain in her body became obvious once more as she got away, the thrill of something new gone. Stupid Edda.
  13. "Perfect. Now we can come up with a course of action. But first..." >Tell Caster to work on making something. "We'll see how that works out soon enough."
  14. "I must apologize, but my partner would like you to tell us before I let you go. I'll choose to respect his wishes. Think of it as a sign of trust, hm?"
  15. “Hm... alright, I think we can let you go. On the condition you form an alliance with us. Any objections from the rest of you?”
  16. Starting a Shield Nuzlocke and doing my blog for it! Whether you're interesting in following my journey or simply interested in making me suffer... Please vote for my starter!

  17. Ask Sethera what they’re doing there. Don’t disable the trap yet.
  18. Offer an alliance. Our ingenuity for their luck. Better to be top 2 than die trying, right? Tell them to feel free to follow, as a sign of trust, and return to base. If any traps would be encountered, avoid them without making a show.
  19. Keep tabs on the disgruntled staff. Keep distance, but tail the master and servant.
  20. Ada watched as Edda kinda fumbled about. It wasn't the first time she thought the girl's awkward behavior was cute, and it probably wouldn't be the last. But this wasn't the time for cute, this was the time for learning! "ah that um- well it's not really singing but uh... Well, um, it's uh...it's an ancient kind of Jouran language. It doesn't really, get used or anything, I just know it because uh... the magic itself uh...well, it's like Dark Magic, but in reverse. I guess? it's like uh, well...Dark Magic is projecting your soul onto the world, but I guess this is closer to projecting your soul into someone else's?" "Ancient Jouran language, huh... my dad has a large collection of tomes and manuscripts, so maybe that's where I recognize it from..." Ada spent a quick moment in her thoughts, "Of course, he had tomes from across the country, so it wouldn't shock me. But the way you describe it is so... intriguing! I already have an interest in staves, and what you're describing sounds like Dark Magic applies like a Staff? Absolutely fascinating..." The girl continued to mutter as she walked alongside Edda, oblivious to what was ahead of them. Too lost in thoughts, only managing to get a single question out. "Is there any way you could teach me how to do that? Ancient languages are no trouble, so long as there's a reasonable translation or teacher!"
  21. Mediocre. Requiring what is, effectively, an inferior form of discard to revive 2 while only pointing down once, giving you only a minor reward, AND unable to be used as Link material... The Link 2 that summons a thing from hand to match the level of what it points to is better. Definitely just supports Bujin/Utopia style.
  22. "um, uh," Ada thought Edda seemed a bit nervous as the latter turned away. "Yeah, it's uh, certainly alright out...right now. Better than uh, other days. Yeah." "Yeah, it's pretty nice," Ada muttered, oblivious to the fact she had been the one to begin the conversation. It was so... awkward. But a little awkwardness never stopped true curiosity! "So, you did something pretty amazing out there with that singing. I don't know what kinda magic that was, but it sounded at least a little bit... familiar to my ears?" Ada beamed a bit, her excitement and curiosity getting the better of her. So much so, that while she lost her self-control, the pain in her body also seemed to be lost, at least for the time being. She began to rattle off questions without concern. "What language is it? Where did you learn it? Ooooh, this is so exciting~!"
  23. Lopt nodded at Jekyll as he entered. Not much sense in trying to play with him, all things considered. Too single-minded. However, the puppy managed to take his hand in a shake. Perfect. Not like the cat throwing herself onto Lucine. Lopt wasn't sure if she was trying to seduce her, tease her, or a combination thereof... But it was a bit bold, wasn't it? While watching the display with a chuckle here or there, more people introduced themselves. The well-dressed chap and the boy lost in thought. Not the most stand out, but at least someone else had an idea of how to dress. Overall, they seemed boring, though. Time may tell otherwise, but first impressions were hard to shake. Lopt intended to turn to the person nearest him, maybe "get to know" someone else. But the sudden breath from the other side caught his attention. The bundled man seemed to be the source, prompting Lopt to stare right back. Did he know something? No, of course not. No one had known his identity in more years than he could count. And this man was quite suspect himself. Then again, wasn't everyone gathered there, himself included? "My my, Mr. Cloak... what a scary aura." Lopt leaned forward with his elbows on the table, chin resting on his palms. "Is there any harm in sticking around to get to know your fellow Jaeger?"
