The Chunin exams overall were pretty great, but yeah, those episodes were a really good way of using tension of drama with more than just everyone punching everyone and making big explosions. It was nice way to show off different skills.

If anything is consistent about the Switch Pro rumors, it's that it will be an upgrade rather than a genuine successor. Considering how the Wii U's life cycle was cut short for flopping as hard as it did, I do think the Switch will make it to six to seven years at least. I know Nintendo typically lies or misleads us to avoid spoiling some news, but I'm inclined to believe them when they claim that the Switch is halfway through its life cycle. I'm not so sure that it's worth bringing out a "pro" model rather than just waiting for the successor. I at least get the Switch Lite trying to maintain the handheld-only market, but a Switch Pro just doesn't make sense right now.

@LordCowCow Yup, I've pretty much exclusively played YGO. I did try to give MTG a try once, maybe twice many years ago, but I think the difficulty was that YGO mechanics were so ingrained into my head that I couldn't adjust to MTG. I found that the frustration would go both ways, as the people who would try to teach me MTG would often be confused by YGO. I find Arena to be a much easier way to get into it, and I appreciate it for that.

My condolences as well. I did enjoy it well enough, but I understand the criticisms.

They also made a comic for In Space, but I'm especially excited for this. Time Force is my favorite season, and I'm happy to see it get more love. Especially with Jen and Wes as the focus.

Still a rumor at the moment, but apparently the source has a good track record? Though I do like a lot of rumors that seem to be pointing towards overall stronger connectivity between Xbox and Switch, so I'm inclined to believe it's happening.

On the one hand, I thought the aesthetic of the shows ever since Zexal (Technically started with 5D's, but were especially noticeable since Zexal) needed to be reined in, and I've wanted literally any other kind of art style.

This… is way too much in the other direction, however.

Divine felt like he could have been a fascinating villain, but largely got shifted due to being "outside" of the Signer/Dark Signer conflict. Plus I can't help but think that Aki's role was largely reduced to Yusei's cheerleader after Divine's death, not helped by Crow taking the spotlight from Aki.

Getting back into it just for today because of Trapinch.
