  1. Pretty sure you need your Deck banished to win with this card as well, considering your Deck is in your possession as well. Nigh impossible to win with this card as an FTK, but at least it has the meme. "During either player's turn" was the card grammar for a quick effect :v What you're looking for is a trigger effect. "If this card leaves the field by your opponent's card: Banish cards your opponent controls facedown up to the number of cards that were banished by this card's effect. You can only use 1 of the following effects of "Ascetice Ascension" per turn, and only once per turn. You can banish 1 card from your Hand, field, GY, Extra or from the top of your Deck, face-down. If a card in your possession is banished face-down, and all other cards in your possession are banished: Banish this card facedown; you win the Duel."
  2. Why do so many MtG players like Commander (EDH)? I cannot escape it both online and IRL.

It is more fun because it is a conversational way to enjoy the game in as many aspects as possible, with people you enjoy being around; Each deck is unique to the designer, while each player comes together to make a game and play it. Anything can happen and nothing is out of the realm, but the mutual respect for the players and enjoyment of the game make EDH such a fun format to explore. Basically, it is putting yourself on the table and seeing what happens without any circumstances to worry about. But like, in MtG conditions.

Also, many cards of your deck are in it because they lead to some kind of shenanigans that might win you the game out of (or semi-out of) nowhere.

I can't play it with randoms, I get bored. I can only really play it with people I know.

  3. Lycanthrope/Synthesis Spell Lycanthrope EARTH - Level 6 - Beast-Warrior/Ritual/Effect - 2400/1800 You can Ritual Summon this card with "Synthesis Spell". You must send 1 Normal Monster from your Deck to the GY to declare an attack with this card. If this card inflicts battle damage to your opponent: Inflict 200 damage to your opponent for each Normal Monster in your GY. If this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle: You can target 1 Normal Monster in your GY; Special Summon it, but shuffle it into the Deck when it leaves the field. Synthesis Spell Ritual Spell This card is used to Ritual Summon "Lycanthrope" from your hand or GY. You must also Tribute monsters from your hand or field whose total Levels equal 6 or more. If this card was not sent to the GY this turn: You can shuffle this card and up to 9 Normal Monsters from your GY into your Deck; draw 1 card, then draw 1 card for every 3 monsters shuffled into your Deck this way.
  4. Never understood the hype behind Wind Waker. Both games aren't amazing, but GX gave more bang for its buck imo. I only played it recently, but having replayed and actually finished Wind Waker now as well, I'd put GX slightly higher.
  5. I've been seeing a lot more of Mansion lately thanks to Vinesauce corruptions, but Timesplitters hits the nostalgia bone. One of the most interesting games I played at an early age.
  6. Always been much more of a Zelda boi than a Colosseum boi. I did only play TP on the Wii, though.
  7. Elf isn't strong so much as good. It's a 141 target, works on Normal Summon, and now a Soul of White Dragon target. Even Protector brings it out. It seems to be the best card in the set, completely outclassing Master with it's second effect and first effect. I just feel it renders so many other cards in the set useless, not even comboing off the male Eyes of Blue effects. Paladin is complete OTK material, but in a good way. I just think the second effect would need some sort of other restriction, rather than having an Honest in the GY for the multitude of already OTK happy Fusions, bigger main deck beaters and such. Soul illustrates the consistency problem with the Deck. It's a dead card without the original BEWD, and so are a lot of other cards in the set. This is just another one that is very easy to brick open with. No reason to really Special Summon your eyes of Blue anyway. Any of them except the ineffable Elf and Paladin. Also you can use the spoiler option in the editor instead of quote if you want.

  20. Raidraptor - Wild Vulture DARK - ✪✪✪✪✪✪ - Winged Beast/Effect - 1600/2000 During your Main Phase, if this card was Normal or Special Summoned this turn: You can reduce this card's Level by 3, and if you do, Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower "Raidraptor" monster from your hand or GY, but negate its effects. Works going into the Link, and acts as a ladder. You don't need 2 of the Level 3 monsters any more. Dragon Agave
  21. THIS IS SO GOOD OMG First effect is amazing. Recycles banished monster by immediately putting it in a location that can send it to the GY, and it provides the removal of Longirsu (I wonder why hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm) but also can grab Spell/Trap Cards. Putting it at 3 means you can turn any of your Links into a non-targeting removal should you only be able to make Galatea. Also, it works on SS, meaning Monster Reborn and Skeletal can both trigger it! This is beautiful. Second effect is...okay, but at least it protects your field if your monsters aren't Linked. Not a huge fan of Xyz Mats only being used for protection, especially when the rest of the archetypes likes its protection, but an additional sweetener on the first effect? whew
  22. First effect is almost too good by itself, and the second one definitely is. Extra Deck Summoning, particularly Link Summoning, means it doesn't really matter whether your materials have effects on the field or not if you use them as material, so being able to add Monster Reborn, upstart for another draw, and absolutely anything you've already played is a bit much. Let's not forget ROTA, Foolish Burial, Cosmic Cyclone, Called by the grave and any number of useful techs, not even talking about archetypal support. It's not even hard to get 2 Spellcasters in any Link Deck. As for the first effect, Altergeists exist, and this card sets up Marionetter and the Trap pretty easily while granting you a free SS from your hand, something they did struggle with. Let's not also forget that it immediately enables Multifaker, meaning you can then use it to grab Muluseek from your Deck, then use them to go into Hexstia. Muluseek then searches Marionetter, meaning you can Normal Summon it and Set Spoofing or any other Trap you need.
