  2. Team JAA/AJA/AAJ "oh right, yeah. We were just talking about ghost stories. You know any Anneliese? Oh I can't wait to tell some tonight!" "Ghost stories? Oh, I do not know, I was told that ghost stories were meant to keep children from running off and as I never did they didn't feel the need to..." a light blush came onto her face. "I suppose perhaps they should have told one or two..." She shook her head. "Oh but I am quite interested in the stories you have to tell!" --- The creature in the darkness watched as the group of humans talked to each other. Getting rather animated and at times loud with their storytelling. It continued to watch and wait until the last of them had gone to sleep before moving forwards, slowly, slowly. It crept over towards a bag where it could smell food and approached it while pausing every couple feet to glance around. Finally it had reached the bag and was just about to drag it off when... "Oh my, what is this then?" --- Anneliese stirred, having heard a noise outside. At first she lay there, frozen, as she recalled some of the stories from earlier. However, after nudging and failing to rouse the others, she managed to take a tentative look. And she saw a Rockruff with the strap of a bag in its mouth. When she spoke the little Pokemon froze up and stared at her a moment before letting go of the bag and taking off. Or rather tried to. Instead it ran right into Leopold, who had freed itself from the ball when Anneliese had spoken. The Rock type tumbled backwards after bumping into Leopold and the latter glared down at the shivering Pokemon. "Oh Leopold, good job. Hello there little one, you forgot to take this." Anneliese then presented the Pokemon with some food from the bag. The Rockruff seemed hesitant at first, glancing over at Leopold in terror, before gently taking the food. Anneliese beamed at the Pokemon. "That's right. No one should go without food after all. But you shouldn't take what isn't yours. It's always polite to ask first." With that she returned Leopold to his ball and began to go back to the tent. She paused when she felt a tugging on her dress and turned to see the Rockruff clinging to her and looking up at her. "Goodness. Did you want more?" The Rockruff let go and took a few steps back. It hesitated then shook it's head and looked towards Leopold's ball. "Did you want to play with Leopold?" The Pokemon shivered and shook its head even more intently. Anneliese wasn't sure what the little dog was trying to say and then gasped. "Do you want to come with me? It is rather...frightening out there, I suppose." Anneliese looked off into the darkness and also shivered. When she looked back at the Rockruff the Pokemon was sitting there expectantly and Anneliese smiled. "Very well then, just give me one moment..." The Rockruff waited as Anneliese looked for the singular Pokeball in her possession. She approached the Rockruff, holding the ball, and frowned. She didn't know what she was supposed to do with the ball. She had heard people throw them but that seemed rather rude. So instead she put it in the palm of her hands and presented it to the Rockruff. The Pokemon looked confused at first before slowly moving forward and booping the button with its nose. It then got sucked into the ball which gave a few simple shakes before settling down. "My, catching Pokemon is quite delightful!" Anneliese declared as she made her way back to bed, thoughts of what to name the Pokemon swirling through her head. "alright everyone! It's time for adventure! And the backbone of all adventure is traveling and seeing new places! So let's get going!" Anneliese woke up to Jacklyn's shout and clumsily got up. While she wasn't nearly as groggy as Anima her hair was sticking up in multiple places. "My, quite the alarm aren't you?" she said with a giggle towards Jacklyn. "Oh! But before that. You would not believe it but we had a visitor last night. Come on out, Roland, and introduce yourself!" She then sent out the Rockruff, now given a name, which took one look at the two humans and darted behind Anneliese and covered its face with its paws. "Goodness, but you were so bold last night sneaking into camp." She lifted up the Pokemon in her arms and it tried to disappear between them as the girl presented the Pokemon. "Also....would one of you be so kind as to brush my hair? I have not done it myself before..."
  3. Wonder if it'll be from one of the ones on my list of "might watch"
  4. That was very odd but fairly fun, 7.5/10
  5. Thessa figured she'd find the cause of the explosions up here. What she didn't expect was the slimy jello beast that was also there. The area they found themselves in was largely open. She could see a concession area and a hot dog stand behind them, as this was an area near a frequently used exit. Since it was mostly a place to go to the upper seating section there wasn't much else there which meant that there wasn't anything for the masked man to hide behind easily. She heard the countdown. It was pretty easy to guess what would happen but she couldn't be certain exactly how it worked yet. So she stood there and waited. Shaving off some more time to boost up her endurance to make sure she could take the hit and, as expected, once he finished counting down an explosion occurred where he was pointing, right on Thessa's chest. However this time she was able to take it even easier, and didn't even flinch as the explosion happened. "If you expected me then you should have more than that." "Yeah?" they said. "I shouldn't be telling you this, but those were just to get your attention." "Oh really? S'pose that makes sense. Doesn't really matter though, whatever you're distracting me from I'll just have to take care of after I finish you all off." He shrugged. "If you say so. Caesar paid us pretty good money for this so as long as I make it out with time to spend it, I'm happy." He pointed his finger and started counting down again, this time from five. "Five, four..." Longer countdown, bigger explosion? "Time, huh." She shook her head. "Guess then you don't mind wrapping this up quick." She decided to go for a straight forward rush. While it looked reckless she was keeping an eye on the man, and the creature behind him, as she moved. Sure enough the ooze reacted, pulling the masked man into it suddenly as she approached. He looked to have been caught off guard and his countdown was interrupted. She couldn't be sure he wasn't able to use his power inside of the thing and began to move again. Remembering what was nearby she darted by the ooze and headed for the hot dog stand. It wasn't too large, but large enough, and she was able to lift it with ease. "Ketchup or mustard? Why not both!" She proceeded to launch the whole thing forward, taking aim at where the masked man was inside the ooze. A few seconds had passed and Thessa watched as the ooze opened up a small hole in its body, going from the man's finger and extending outside, as though it were now a barrel of a gun. The hot dog stand just barely touched the ooze before an explosion occurred, almost half again stronger than the previous, and the whole stand was ripped apart. The ooze seemed to be unscathed, despite the burning bits of stand sticking out of it. "Hm, brb okay?" She figured there was something up with those solid bits inside the ooze. However reaching them would take a bit more effort and an idea occurred to her for something else she could throw at them. Or rather drop on them. She jumped outside of the area and up towards the ceiling above them. Thessa shaved away some more time, starting to get to a point where she could almost notice the change, as she landed and cracked the now floor previously ceiling. With a few more leaps she cracked it in four places, around the area above the ooze. Then she took one more leap and slammed her fists down on the middle to bring the entire thing down on top of the ooze.
  6. Is it amusing? Yes. Do I think it's good? Not...particularly. 5.5/10
  7. My Arena tickets can't seem to settle on which of several axe users, armor and infantry, to make me try and +10 oh right this reminds me don't have images atm but did +10 up Reyson and Naesala
  8. 8.5/10 some parts kinda weak but overall very good I dig it
  9. I mean I like the song in general I don't really see the remix adding much, and would in fact the part 2/3 in makes me like it less so, 7/10 Can't fully explain what I liked about it but I liked it a lot. It did feel oddly longer than it was though. 8.5/10
  10. When I focused on it it was pretty cool but it was way too easy for me to lose focus on what I was listening to. 7/10 cause overall it was nice just didn't do much for me I guess
  11. Sabrina felt somewhat down at the lackluster response the group had given. Was that really the proper way to react to learning that they had just met heroes? Maybe she hadn't been clear enough about that point but even when Gene said it in a more mundane way they didn't really react much. Maybe it wasn't actually something that most people believed then? Were Luca and Rumian just....odd in that way? But, no, the other villagers seemed to believe it too... She glanced over at the tarp again. "To be absolutely positively super duper certain....that's not actually hiding some sort of elder god which you intend to revive using the dark power of this storm?" "No, it's...just our food and findings." Baffled at the girl's question he'll look to the others and ask, "what is...is she alright?" Then after a moment thinking about the situation he'll ask, "are these things you actually deal with?" Was that a hint of awe she detected? Sabrina felt herself swell as she puffed up her chest and stand taller. "Of course! Totally! For sure!" she declared. "Well, I mean, I haven't dealt with any of those here yet....and maybe not in so many words back home...but it's absolutely something that I, that we, are equipped to take down! We've already faced off against truly mighty foes and we'll be facing even more in the future! Just you wait and see this place is gonna become suuuuper cool and not scary before long!"
  12. Lana, alone in the church...unless? Despite that it was getting darker outside the church was still lit as there were several candles around the area. In particular as Lana sat there, resting after her harrowing adventure, she saw the candelabra atop of the pulpit at the end of the room. Perhaps it was due to being tired but the flames seemed to be flickering more than was normal. The more she watched the more certain she became that the fire was moving. And then they went out entirely. Moments later the candelabra itself fell off the pulpit and hit the ground with a ringing crash. Silence reigned for some time after that. And then Lana felt something. Something cold touching her cheek. "Hello." Anna said, having somehow managed to come in and stand behind Lana without her realizing. "Were you going to sleep there?" She asked, not moving her finger which was still poking Lana's face.
  13. I did like it more though some of it started to drive me a bit nutty, 7.5/10
  14. do do do do do do Pretty song, washed over me but not necessarily a negative way, 8/10 that's over 7 minutes long but fine first, why do songs insist on being long yet have long stretches of basically nothing. It's neat background noise would be cool in a game or show but on its own, kinda just there, after a while I instinctively tune it out if there's not much changing especially on things without lyrics 6.5/10 the end bit I liked more than the rest of it
  15. some interesting things in there but overall didn't do a lot for me, 7/10 still
  16. I like it, not much to it, wouldn't sit down and listen to it but its nice background music, 7.5/10
  17. As all of the adventurers narrowly escaped the remaining undead they would find themselves on a staircase much like the ones they had been on before. Lana would notice that the darkness she saw before simply faded away. Or rather it looked as though the darkness was moving down the stairs and revealing more of it until it vanished completely. These stairs were a brief journey before it leveled off into a small, square, room. Directly on the right was a stone wall and across from them more stairs leading down. The room was mostly empty except for two things. One, on the left-hand wall, was a portal like those they had seen before that would lead them back to the surface. Next to that was a simple wooden chest. Inside said chest was some coin as well as a single object. It was a wand of some sort that appeared to be made of bone. On the left of the wand were three white stones embedded into it and on the right three black stones. Were they to take the portal to the surface they would find that night had fallen and they would be allowed to heal their wounds, though their fatigue was not so easy to heal, before being led out of the walled area protecting the entrance to the dungeon.
  18. Feels like a cross between animal crossing and legend of zelda music 8/10 I like it
