  3. "What are you doing down here little ratty?" At any other time, Shiro would think it strange that they were trying to communicate with a rat, but now it seemed normal. That couldn't be good. "oh, oh, oh! Do you live down here?" The rat shook its head. Well, seeing as it answered, it seemed to be a human turned animal. Something Tsetseg didn't seem to understand. She did, however, get the rat to come along with them, only to be soon distracted by another metaphorical shiny object. "do you guys know what these squiggles mean?" Shiro looked at the wall, Sienna doing the same, both trying to decipher the writing on the wall. Shiro mused that the three of them must look absolutely silly right now. "So, the rat didn't live here, and now writing... this is becoming a very strange day...," Shiro muttered.
  4. You get yuri and threeways. I expect no less. As a bandwagoner, you're getting the Rin bandwagon. No thanks but she will. You'll go on a GOLDEN ride then. Sorry for the lack of fanart but it seems he doesn't have much. I had some obvious choices for you and you get none of them.
  5. See, you think you're being funny, but I like Musashi as a character, I just hate her gameplay in Shimosa so much I have been turned off to rolling her. But I do like her.
  6. “Well… we’re waiting,” Herc said after a tense few seconds of staring. Although it was only a few seconds, it felt like three weeks had passed by. Suda turned to Suzume. “Well, ya gonna spin at him again or something?” He said dryly, before a thought came to his head. “Actually...” Without waiting for her answer, he formed an orb right in front of her. In seconds she would feel the orb pull on her towards Herc. “Move forward a bit, and leave her to me,” Rei remarked. Herc obliged, slowly moving in front of the hologram-like apparition and taking a stance. He wasn’t sure what she was doing, but he would trust her for now. As Suzume was shot forward, legs rotating and ready to kick into some beetle husk, Rei dived into the girl, gripping her with her right arm. Rei snapped her left hand’s fingers, returning herself to the checkpoint that was now just behind Herc. Rei made sure to immediately let go of Suzume afterward, causing the darker-skinned girl to rocket down the train car, crashing spectacularly into the wall at the back. “I can take care of her. You focus on your classmate!” “Kick his ass!” Suzume called out from the back. “Then help me with silverbitch over here!” Herc looked over to Suda and shrugged before speaking in his evilest, graveliest voice he could manage. “We’re not so different, you and I. The girls are limiting our true potential. We could be rid of them, and rule this train!” He then dropped his voice back to normal. “Or you know, be able to actually fight at full power without worrying about squashing them,” Suda grinned. “As fun as it would be to kick Suzume’s butt for a second time.” He said, cracking his knuckles. “I’ve got a train to catch.” “Shit, that was pretty good,” Herc muttered under his breath. “Even worse, I don’t have a witty train pun,” “Sounds like you’re thinking on the wrong track,” Suzume said from the back, getting up to her feet and facing her classmate. “Now I’m losing my train of thought guys!” Herc called out. His mind was whirling, he needed a really witty remark here. He couldn’t lose this mental battle! “Alright fine, then the pain train has left the station!” Herc called out, knowing deep down it was not as good as Suda’s quip. He took off, charging at his new rival. As Suda watched Herc start charging towards him, he raised his arm upwards, releasing another orb onto the top of the train. He knew he wasn’t going to be able to toss Herc around easily, even with his newfound mastery, so instead he was going to toss around what he could - himself. The orb pulled on Suda as he jumped, pinning him onto the ceiling as gently as he could. With a thud, he watched as Herc charged onwards beneath him. “It’s over Herc!” He shouted. “I have the high ground!” “You underestimate my power!” Herc called out as he skidded to a stop. He then grabbed onto the wall, climbing up its side and clinging to the ceiling. He then charged once more at his opponent, a new plan forming. Suda was shocked when Herc started climbing on the walls of the train, although it was fitting. As he watched the massive beetle man began to charge towards him, he started reducing the force on his orb, dropping him gently towards the ground. Herc watched as Suda gently floated to the ground like he was the messiah. It was neat and all, but he couldn’t let him get away with it this time. Herc took a mighty leap, tackling Suda in the air and sending the two crashing towards the ground and the girls.
  7. "....Why are you the only one who gets a cape?" Mac said. "It looks uh....nice." She said, scratching her nose. "Thanks. Apparently my brother wears one to. Makes me feel closer to him," Kazo said as he walked with the others. He didn't do much else as they walk, besides answering occasional questions, or just adding his own comments to conversations. He didn't say anything about Mac diving in after the turtle, since after all, what could he say to influence her? However, soon they all came up to a cave. "Oooh what's in the cave?" "Maybe another Regi?" Kazo suggested. He knew there where 3... or maybe 4, of them all together, but he didn't know their typing. But since Regirock was in a cave, Kazo figured that made sense. As they walked up to it, Kazo had to grab Ari and suddenly dive to the side as Thunder fell from the sky. Was there a Regithunder? Regilightning? "Ah, good reflexes, good. You'll need that in this day and age." Stepping out of the cave was a Dragon, one Kazo vaguely recognized, but that couldn't be it, right? That was an old folk story, a... come to think of it, he wasn't sure why he doubted the tale anymore, seeing as he had met so many legends on this journey. "I hope the Godslayers are not sending children after me now. They make me sick enough without insulting me." "Z-Zekrom..." Mac said, seemingly... oddly put off. Was he the one she was chasing? "Hang on, hang on," Kazo said, standing back up slowly, getting Ari back on his feet. "We're not Godslayers. We literally just fought one off with Tornadus yesterday. We're Chasers, we only wanna challenge Legends to improve ourselves...," He looked over to Mac, "And some to show how cool they are. We just heard rumors that a legend showed up here and we came to check it out. Mac probably will also wanna spar against you, but that's it. We not here with ill intentions," He only hoped that Zekrom believed him. Denku felt a satisfying crack of bone when he connected his attack, but he also felt sick from the poison that struck him. To make matters worse, the guy he was fighting just disappeared into thin air. Denku's Outrage was going to end soon, he likely only had one more shot. He just needed to find the guy he was fighting. Suddenly a torrent of water came rushing at him. He moved to the side, but the stream still caught his left arm causing him to cry out in pain from the high pressure. Still, that was exactly what he needed. He blasted off, rushing towards the source of the attack, his vision blurring as he flew. He did his best to direct himself to crash into the goon, but by now, his vision was blurry, the confusion from Outrage finally setting in.
  8. "Okay, I can do that!" Tsetseg said with a smile, headed to the door. Shiro followed her, watching her movements. She seemed... rather simple, and honestly, he wasn't sure if she could actually do it, as mean as it sounded. In the end, it seemed he would have to mentally eat crow, as she slipped the key in the hole and turned it rather easily. The door creaked opened, two proteans and an archer peering into the room. It was some sort of food storage place, and inside, they found a rat. "Uh... Tsetseg? I'd be careful if I were you... There's no way to know if that's an animal or one of the cursed villagers..." The fox princess warned. Shiro didn't acknowledge that, lost in his own thoughts. "If the humans are animals and the animals are humans... was the rat a human in here, locked up in this room? Why would they be locked in here?" He looked around. "Or maybe it came in later as a rat...,"
  9. It was going fine at first. Raynor knew he could take the two zombies on, that was easy enough. In fact, he defeated one on his own. However, as he basked in the victory of his defeating strike, something unexpected came his way. A horrible sight, one that made him freeze in place and realize he had made a terrible mistake. An axe wielding zombie shambled towards him. Before Raynor could get his lance up to attack the zombie, the monster swung down with a merciless chop, sent both the rider and the mount to the ground. A familiar feeling overcame Raynor's chest. Pain... and his shirt was being soaked. Still, it was warm, if not sticky. His vision blurred as he tried to move, but his limbs refused to move. He couldn't fall he, the others needed him, he had to do his best to protect them!! No matter how much he fought, his body refused to move, instead forcing him to cough, blooding splattering across his face. No matter how much he tried to stubbornly get up, he couldn't move. He wasn't afraid. He always knew he could die in the battlefield, in fact, that's how he wanted to go out... in a great fight, etching his name in history. Death didn't scare him... but losing the others did... what if the others fell because he couldn't get up right now? What if Ada got close to death once more because he wasn't there? What if the Snow Fairy was left wide open because Rona ran too far away? What if Rona fell because she went too far away? What if Layne was swarmed because the two zombies he let slip by swarmed him? The Commander, Edda, they were all in trouble. He knew they didn't want to die in the battlefield... but he couldn't protect them... his body just refused to move. There was some voices... he couldn't make them out though... he thought they were calling out his name, but he wasn't too sure. Some sort of command? He couldn't tell. Finally though, his stubbornness got him to move... one single hand, which reached out, touching a familiar scaly hide. His vision was fading... The others had to have left by now, cleaning up the mess he left behind... all he could do now... was rest...
  10. Bruce Lee. I'm too much of a martial arts nerd not to get one.
  11. "See, that's just it! We're gonna save the world we can't be slacking off!" Mac said, grinning from ear to ear. Mac wiped a fake tear from her eye and nodded at Kazo. "I'm so proud of you. You're growing up to be a real hero. I knew following in my footsteps would help you." "What are you talking about?" Ari leapt to his feet. "Kazo's always been a true hero. He's super gentle and kind yet strong, just like a true hero would be." He shook his head. "If anything, you have it backwards. You're becoming more of a hero yourself now, cuz you've been with Kazo." "I um... I think you're giving me way too much credit there, Ari," Kazo muttered. "I'm nothing that special," "My, my, this is such a familiar scene," Trish said with a smile, remembering a much younger Denku and Kazo. They went the rest of the night relaxing and laughing, sharing stories, and Kazo learning more and more about his comrades and the other half of his family. And then it was time to sleep. Mac and Ari had to share the guest bedroom. Trish slept in her own room, and Kazo slept in Denku's room. Honestly, despite being super comfortable in the home, Kazo had a hard time sleeping. He was in his older brother's room! He found everything interesting, the pictures, the clothes, everything. He even found a cool cloak! That was neat, almost like a superhero! He really wanted to take it... but... he really shouldn't. Eventually, he went to sleep though, and slept very well that night. The morning soon came, and they had to go. Mac was quick to run off, but Ari stayed for a bit. "Thanks so much for letting us stay here, Mrs. Trish!" He said with a polite bow. Trish smiled and bent down, hugging the little lion. "Don't worry about it. You all come back and see me, alright?" She said, letting the cub go. Kazo watched the two leave before turning to his Mom. "So..., I gotta go now," he said, rubbing the back of his neck. Trish nodded, hugging Kazo, holding him tightly. "Stay safe, okay?" She said with a sad smile. "If you find Denku, tell him to come back, okay?" She let go, patting his head. "Oh, and before you go," She pulled a cape from behind her back, fastening it onto Kazo. "Your brother wore one of these when he left, it's only fitting you get one of your own, yeah?" She smiled. Kazo's eyes shone and he nodded. "Thanks Mom!" He was ecstatic now! Finally, after one more hug, he ran off to catch up with his team, cape flapping in the breeze. Adventure awaited! Denku grunted as he was thrown back by the sheer force of the Dragon Tail, but he still landed on his feet. He looked up at and saw that the punk was readying a Hydro Pump. Denku took a giant leap into the air and pushed himself downwards at the Dragalge with his jets, his Outrage still raging like a storm. Like a black comet, he crashed into his foe at full speed, not caring about his own safety, instead utterly determined to take out the foe in front of him. He still needed to break the man's bones after all.
  12. Raynor was so focused on fighting that the sudden surge of healing energy flowing through his body startled him, "One hell of a bite on these things, yeah? Don't let it get to you, looks like I might be next on the menu." Layne called out to him. Raynor gave a quick thumbs up, one that the hound tried to capitalize on. It leapt at him, teeth bared as it swiped at him. The claw caught Raynor's arm, but Raynor stabbed it in the stomach as retaliation, and the creature died. A zombie then went for an attack, and with the help of Leon, the zombie was killed. "I'll be back to patch you up soon, don't go too far!" Layne called out as he left. Raynor took a look around, looking for some targets. Two zombies were shambling their way to the group. He couldn't let them get too close, in case they ignored him and went for Layne, or the others. Urging Gojira forwards, he charged, stabbing one right in the chest. The zombie looked down at its chest and then back up to Raynor. It began to shamble forwards one more, ignoring the lance lodged in its chest as it stabbed Raynor with its own lance. The two stared each other down unflinchingly before Raynor dislodged his weapon from the zombie. He could hold out against these two. He knew he could. OOC
