  1. Lopt nodded at Jekyll as he entered. Not much sense in trying to play with him, all things considered. Too single-minded. However, the puppy managed to take his hand in a shake. Perfect. Not like the cat throwing herself onto Lucine. Lopt wasn't sure if she was trying to seduce her, tease her, or a combination thereof... But it was a bit bold, wasn't it? While watching the display with a chuckle here or there, more people introduced themselves. The well-dressed chap and the boy lost in thought. Not the most stand out, but at least someone else had an idea of how to dress. Overall, they seemed boring, though. Time may tell otherwise, but first impressions were hard to shake. Lopt intended to turn to the person nearest him, maybe "get to know" someone else. But the sudden breath from the other side caught his attention. The bundled man seemed to be the source, prompting Lopt to stare right back. Did he know something? No, of course not. No one had known his identity in more years than he could count. And this man was quite suspect himself. Then again, wasn't everyone gathered there, himself included? "My my, Mr. Cloak... what a scary aura." Lopt leaned forward with his elbows on the table, chin resting on his palms. "Is there any harm in sticking around to get to know your fellow Jaeger?"
  2. I really appreciate the customization options in SwSh.

I'm sorry, that was uncalled for. I respect your opinion, I'm just tired of hearing people try to convince people not to try something just because you don't like it.

But...you just said it's my right to talk shit. I think there are a dozen and a half reasons to not get SW/SH and encourage them to do better next time. But you do you

  7. Ada didn't remember much after Alexis picked her up. Just a brief moment of surprise, quickly followed by darkness. Next thing she knew, she woke up at camp the next morning, with everyone else preparing to leave. Even Raynor seemed up and about without much issue. She wanted to ask him if he was okay, but she still found herself having trouble moving. She would just ask later, when it was more opportune. When time came to leave, Ada was one of the ones left on the bank waiting for a ferry. She had no qualms going through the water, but moving was still a bit less than easy for her. Wounds were easy to heal, but sore joints and muscles were another matter altogether. Once across, however, she found herself near someone else who would be worth talking to... Edda. Trailing behind her a bit due to the injuries, Ada cleared her voice. Of course, the two had hardly shared a word before... So maybe it would be best to start with... "So, uh, nice day, isn't it?"
  8. To anyone looking to purchase Sword and Shield digitally tonight or in the morning, DO NOT DO IT. There is a glitch right now that seems to be connected to Sword and Shield digital copies, where it deletes ALL data from SD cards when the game crashes.

    1. Kazooie

      Kazooie

Some speculation that it's tied to the type of SD Card, exFat or something, but we aren't entirely sure if it's only happening to those or what's causing it yet. Either way, better to play it on the side of safe rather than sorry. I'll update if I find out more about what's causing it.

Some speculated that autosave caused it, but it seems like turning off the auto save feature won't stop it entire either.

I just read about this, and this is some fallout 76-level of bugs

from what I gathered, it seems like the problem is, ultimately, on the Switches OS since the error seems to be tied to a failing NAND read and the switches exFAT driver. The reason Pokemon SWSH seems to be triggering it specifically is because of how it accesses the NAND in a way that is, from what I gathered, unique. There's speculation that its because of autosaves and background content downloading.

Another thing thing I saw is that people seem to think its related to homebrewing and hacking, but as far as I know that's been disprove.

  10. F0 is a good card, but the name should have been Draconic Utopic Future. Because it is in no way a dragon. But that's a translation issue, given JP name is Future Dragon King Hope. Overload is a fucking insult. Good card, but the rest of these are support for the protagonist, not the friend characters. This one is the opposite. Great. Heatsoul is dumb because it gets you advantage and finally gives the deck a good FIRE Code Talker. Salamangreat Engine is a lot better with this.

  15. UM run scared me because I had no Brick Break user for the first totem. Yui the Inkay setting up reflect let me swap into my Popplio, and then baby doll eyes + disarming voice saved the day.

R.I.P. Borf the Growlithe, I forgot that Drifloon had aftermath.

  16. "Is it that time already?" Lopt sat up as he heard the gentle melody at the beginning of the alarm. As always, it would be quickly followed by what the shifter could only describe as the sounds of Helheim itself. Every morning, the same routine. At least he didn't have to wake up to that dreadful noise, unlike the others. Well, maybe they also rarely slept. Or never slept. All the same, his heart went out to whoever had to endure that cruel joke. Slithering out of bed, his lower half was revealed to be that of a snake as he stretched, shifting back to more humanoid legs. Kicking them a little as if to get used to wearing shoes, he looked himself over, shifting a simple suit onto his body. Nothing too fancy, but enough to make him look like a well-off merchant or so. Fashion changed so much over time, so he had to keep up with looks if he wanted to blend in. But blending in alone was too ordinary. You still had to stand out a bit if you wanted to enjoy life, no? He turned his right hand into a mirror so that he could see the top of his head, adjusting the ears just so, before turning his hand back to normal with a whistle. Perfect. Though, wouldn't it be rather boring if he simply arrived on time? What was that phrase that had come into vogue fairly recently... "Fashionably late"? Yes, that would be it. He would be fashionably late. After all, he was here of his own accord. Why did he need to show up when he was told to? ----- "My, my, we have quite the group, don't we? However did he keep us all separated for so long?" Lopt made his presence known as he entered the room, speaking with a slightly posh accent. While he was mostly giving lip service, there was quite a diversity. Another sharply dressed man with a gag who floated above his seat, a large being in a cloak, a short girl and a raven, a shy boy with a thick accent, another boy with horns, and a pair of animal jaeger. By the looks of it... A cat and a wolf? What a curious pairing that was. Maybe he would start with them. But first... "I am Lopt Solbjorg. I imagine that few, if any of you, have introduced yourselves yet out of fear... So allow me to be the first to extend a hand of camaraderie." As Lopt bowed with a pleasant smile on his face, he was barely suppressing the urge to laugh. What a farce. He had no problems making partnerships as needed, but did these people expect to become true allies? Friends? No, humans and Jaeger alike were too given to backstabbing for their own personal gain. However, it seemed like fun to play along, if not lead the notion by the nose, for now. "I was recruited a few months back by our dear benefactor, and I'm quite looking forward to learning whatever it is we've been gathered for." He continued before taking a seat next to Lucine, extending a hand to her for a shake, like a good dog. "Nice to meet you. As well as you, Miss Cat."

  18. Depends on the type of game. RPG? Probably not. Platformer? Well, yeah, that's half the point.
  19. Taking her meal and the credit card with a curtsy, Shannon neatly tucked the latter away. While she had been warned once more about Kyouji, she tried not to take it to heart. Sure, her companions other than Zirco seemed less than confident... But perhaps the brute and herself would be enough. Who was she kidding? Of course it would be enough. More than enough. Hopefully they never had to show what Zirco truly had up his sleeve. The ride was fine. The RV was... cozy, she supposed. Nothing stood out as overtly negative to her. The time spent was relatively peaceful. Quiet, even. Curious, she figured Zirco had a lot to say to her, though maybe not. Even after they were kicked off, he left silently. He wasn't acting nearly as brutish as the day before. Of course, the target of his aggression was gone... But didn't he say he wanted a piece of her as well? Strange boy. And there was one thought nagging her the whole way... "Well, hopefully he's able to find Kyouji and beat him in a duel before we get there, right?" "Mm, I don't know about that..." Shannon prepared her own D-Wheel as she replied to Tora, "While he is certainly strong, do you think he's going to respond well to Zirco? After all, he has something that I think will ruin our chances in an instant should they duel... I hate to leave you two back here, but I can't let him go alone~" Revving up her bike, she took off, cutting ahead of the other two. While Zirco had proven his ability the day before, letting him handle this alone could not end well. Not while he held Hot Red Dragon Archfiend.
  20. Falling onto her butt, Mackenzie let out a relieved sigh when it was over. She didn't know who this Omnimon was, but her plan had bought them enough time for him to save the day... And, from what she could see, Wormmon was shocked senseless. Gathering herself and dusting off her clothing, she walked over and scooped up the tiny insect, holding it close and whispering to it. "Good job..." The worm let out what sounded like a giggle and pressed close to her new partner's chest, nodding. There was no need for words. Mackenzie wasn't much the type for them, and Wormmon had gone through so much in the day that she was at a loss for words. ----- With explanations out of the way, Wormmon cocked her head, still in Mackenzie's arms. "U-Um... Why are you here then?" She barely muttered, before looking down, "N-nevermind..." Mackenzie rubbed the small bug's head, as if to console her, though she did not speak up. She wanted to hear the answer as much as her partner.
