  1. Breaker is a 2mat that pops a card the turn you summon it, because the decks it will see play in will be able to devote another spellcaster. May not fit anywhere atm (though PendMag isn’t terrible), but it’s a good enough card.
  2. It has not been an hour since the card was revealed. It has already been posted in the appropriate news topic.

  5. BGM Diana arrived at the campus before the sun even began to rise, waiting for the rest of the applicants to arrive. Living on the farm for the past year and some had really gotten her used to waking up early, so this was nothing to her. After all, early to bed, early to rise, and all that Ben Franklin jazz. She spent the time watching the passers by and squeezing a stress ball in her right hand. As people began to arrive, other than those who showed up early like her, she pulled out a bag and ate a simple egg sandwich, making sure to be done by the time the doors opened. Watching the duo emerge, Diana stood at attention, excitement brimming. "To get this far, you must have already passed the written test." Diana groaned as the memories came rushing back. It wasn't that she didn't know the information the written tests required, but she scarcely had time to pen it down. Hell, she probably wouldn't have had enough time with the exam in English, much less Japanese. Today will be the day of the practical. Beyond this gate lies a forest type area, and a city type area. You are free to roam wherever you please, and do as much damage as possible, but your objectives will all be the same. In each area are a limited amount of badges that resemble the U.A. logo. To complete the practical, one must obtain 5 badges and return to the gate before sundown. It doesn't matter how you get your badges. Just so long as you're here, you'll be permitted to attend U.A." "So if I beat the snot out of some dude with 3 badges, and take 'em, I get in?" "Alright everyone, let's make sure to all do our very BEST!" Everyone around Diana seemed to be excited. Loud yells, boastful statements, and more! Even if one of those was a bit more lingo based than she expected, she loved seeing and feeling the crowd's excitement. "That's right! Let's all get pumped up for <JUSTICE!>" The blonde girl yelled excitedly, switching to English at the end as shoved her right hand in the air with her index finger pointing upward. Pulling her arm down, she adjusted her hair into a ponytail at the nape of her neck, her purple eye gleaming in the bright sunlight. "<Let's go!>"

    Greetings

Well, come on into the new home! Everyone is starting over here, so you’re not alone ?
  7. The vast majority of the community joined up here. No one is forcing them to stay or threatening them. And while it was only 5 people... I've never seen the mod team so unified. We worked on this site for days, testing things, discussing rules, making plans. We even dropped some hints along the way before the reveal. It was a great thing for us, and I feel like NCM benefited for it. Losing YCM feels bad. There's a lot of memories there. I was 3rd highest poster and 2nd highest reps of all time, and I really wanted to become #1 in both with time. But that's not how life always works. Sometimes splits and changes happen. Sometimes they need to happen. A fresh start. A change of scenery. That's what NCM is. We joke about it being "YCM2", but it's no more YCM2 than Deltarune is Undertale 2. It's just... different. Similar, but not the same. And that's okay. The mod team stated that if the majority wished to go back, we would... but that's not where we find ourselves. And it's not a problem for things to split, if that time has come.
  8. You hardcast Rusty fairly often. And it’s not a Warrior for Rota. cloak can search the s/t, how does it only have 1 target Deck is good against control. Like, very. However it kinda dies to aggro.
  9. Mathman isn’t DARK. A superior level isn’t enough when it’s a worse attribute. You use rusty bardiche to dump cloak and set sword. Then cloak searches Boots, who summons itself, gets used as material, and then searches out RUM/Sword. A second boots doesn’t do that. 141 probably needs to be cut, yeah, I just forgot it. If I was playing with Needlefiber it would be best to keep it, due to Jet, but trying not to use it. Cherubini is an option. It dumps Skeleton, which means your Diver/Knightmare don’t have to be spent on that, or they can be spent on getting the second copy so that you can actually use Skeleton. It can also dump PKs, but that’s not amazing.
  10. 3 Level 9 Monsters This card cannot be destroyed by battle, also your opponent takes any battle damage you would have taken from battles involving this card. During your opponent's End Phase: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; banish all cards your opponent currently controls that were Normal or Special Summoned, or were Set, this turn. If this card is destroyed while it has Xyz Material: You can Special Summon this card from the Graveyard. When you do: It gains 1000 ATK for every card currently banished. The relevance of this card is actually due to Orcust and Phantom Knights. Thanks to Sheorcust Dingirsu and Rusty Bardiche, you can make this card after your opp proceeds to ending their turn, at the end of their MP. This is especially relevant against decks like Salamangreat and Sky Striker, as it simply destroys their setup. Counter-play involves not overextending, then playing more before ending your turn, but that has the same issues with it that such play usually does.
  11. Imagine getting FTKd after dropping this. This post made by the Gandora X gang.
  12. Welcome to our new home!
  13. Changelog from 1.0 to 2.0 +3 Knightmare Corruptor Iblee +1 Orcustrated Return +1 Orcustrated Climax +1 Phantom Knights' Fog Blade +1 Number 92: Heart-eartH Dragon +1 Knightmare Cerberus +1 Knightmare Mermaid +1 Knightmare Phoenix +1 Knightmare Unicorn ----- -1 Orcust Cymbal Skeleton -1 Orcust Harp Horror -1 Orcust Brass Bombard -1 Dark Grepher -1 World Legacy - "World Crown" -1 The Phantom Knights of Shade Brigandine -1 Evilswarm Nightmare -1 The Phantom Knights of Breaksword -1 Orcust Galatea -1 Borrelsword Dragon -1 Summon Sorceress Alright, so after seeing some OCG lists, I decided to try some techs + the Knightmare engine, because I hadn't even thought about them. Due to Knightmares making your Orcusts more accessible, it was easy to cut down on them, making room for more engine and other quality cards like Iblee, who is either a 1-card mermaid, thus finding your Orcustrated Knightmare, or a revive card for your Knightmares, which is pretty solid in terms of giving you bodies to do things with/make Unicorn. Don't need 2-3 Dark Grepher when I run an arma and a rota as well, really. tfw Shade Brigandine isn't an effect monster so it sucks ass here, but at least Fog Blade is good. tfw i used none of the ED cards I cut even once tfw World Crown never came in clutch Number 92: Heart-eartH is an OCG thing, but it makes sense, given that it completely blows out control decks if it resolves, whereas True King of All Calamities is better in other matchups. Worth testing, at least, even though I initially thought it sounded wrong.
  14. I mean, PK is an insane secondary engine for DARK, and VFD is still broken. It’s the main thing I based my build on, and skeleton is bork, so. got a text list?
  15. Welcome home! idk how people are falling for this

Heeey, you came! Welcome to our new home!
  17. People always ask blatantly obvious questions. That's what these ruling threads are full of. Strong combos like this always get disputed because people refuse to believe that "Konami made it that broken".
  18. that's a pretty obvious ruling given how cards like that have always worked
