  3. As the Shinx returned the glare, Cerbi was ready to deal with this runt. He wasn't about to let some blue rat take the heart of his precious Olivia. He stepped forward to pounce, but stopped. "Leo...pold...thank...goodness...you stopped." A tired girl came out of nowhere and scooped up the runt in her arms. Cerbi simply scoffed, rolling his eyes. "Ah, you must be the little one's trainer~!" Olivia said, placing her hand on top of Cerbi's head. This calmed down the Houndoom almost instantly, as it's tail started to wag. When the girl said that she was a movie star, Olivia couldn't help but smile. "Ohoho! Little ol' me? Not yet, darling, not yet." She said, placing her hands on her hips. Her head, however, tilted at her question. "Huh? Don't be silly, we are in Cherrygrove City!" She said, taking in another look at the girl. The girl seemed to be well dressed herself, probably from a rich family. Perfect! It was nice to meet someone just like her. "I know, I know, it's not quite as big as Lumiose or... wherever you're from... but I can assure you this is the city." She said, gesturing around her. "It's a bit more rural, but I think that has its own little charm." She said, before making a shocked expression. "Oh, where are my manners?" She placed her hand on her chest. "My name is Olivia Fournier." She gestured towards Cerbi. "And this is my beautiful little Cerbi!" She placed her hand on top of the Houndoor again.
  4. The trio walked out of the Pokemon Center, their Pokemon fully healed. Jacklyn seemed interested in a place called The Skrelp Flambe. It sounded exceptionally fancy, something that Ivan was a bit worried about. He had never been to any sort of fancy restaurant - even with his backgrounds, such places were uncommon back at Alola. He wasn't even really sure he could afford it, taking a look at his wallet. "Sounds expensive." Ivan remarked dryly, as Jacklyn frowned. "I should probably be fine with just carrots but uh...what do your guys's pokemon eat?" "Well..." He said, taking out all three of his Pokeballs. "This one eats mostly berries and plants." He said, placing Po's Pokeball back on his belt. "This one... I think can eat whatever. Meat, seeds, fruit, plants... you get the point." He remarked, doing the same thing he did to Po's Pokemon with Don's. When he got to Root's Pokeball, however, his faced changed to one of confusion. "...I don't actually know what Bellsprout eat..." He muttered to himself, although the others would be able to hear him. He put away the last Pokeball. "She should be able to eat the Pokemon Food you find at the store." He said, not actually sure if she could. He made a mental note to check out his Pokemon's diet.
  5. Deadlands Team Karaoke "Wow..." Lok said as Shaymin finished speaking. Hearing about what she was keeping away was, well, terrifying to say the least. Even if she seemed meek, whoever was sent as the messenger for the gods had to be at least somewhat powerful. Plus, he had seen what her other half could do live. "...I didn't know you were so cool!" He said, grinning However, his grin faded. "But it sounds like you have your hands full." He said, crossing his arms. "I know you're scared of... that. Honestly I... kinda am too..." He paused for a second, relaxing his shoulders. "But... but we have to stop this thing. For everyone's sake." Skuldafn Team Showdown The elder confirmed what Scarlet had suspected, both in that Rayquaza hadn't informed them much of anything and that this task wouldn't be easy. Scarlet followed the group up towards the hill, in front of the temple. Waiting for them was a tall Haxorus, who gazed at the group. While it took a bit of convincing from the elder, the Haxorus did reluctantly open the path into the temple. Scarlet was in awe as she watched the stone shift and slide as the dark hole opened up. "Well... no time like the present, right?" She said after the elder assured them they wouldn't need light. She walked towards the darkness without any hesitation. The inside of the temple was awe inspiring; floating chunks of stone and water soared above them as they walked on a path that seemed to be made of pure light. The cave defied all logic and reason. Annoyingly, it seemed as if they hadn't moved much at all despite walking for what felt like a good couple of feet. "What in the..." She muttered as Isole asked what in the world was happening. The cave seemed to answer as the light shifted into words. "A single path can only lead to a single destination." "...what..." A puzzle of sorts, it would seem. Before Scarlet could even start thinking of a way to get out, Taiga had taken initiative, clearly frustrated with the lack of progress. "Wait...!" Scarlet shouted, but it was too late. As Taiga took a step into the abyss, Scarlet watched as her friend plunged. "Taiga!" She shouted, dashing towards where Taiga had walked off the edge, and reached down to grab her. Much to her dismay, her pincers had just barely managed to grab the girl's hand, as she lost sight of her in the abyss. She paused for a second, the message given by the lights still mocking her. She froze for a second, the thought of having just lost Taiga to the abyss slowly dawning on her. She took a deep breath, a tear rolling down her face. However, she stood up. She couldn't just stand there not doing anything - she had to see this through. She was going to do this for her. She turned to Isole, wanting to tell her something. But she found it hard to speak, feeling her throat getting stiff. She sniffled a bit, turning towards where they had been going. It was clear that going this way was doing nothing for them - this path was leading them back where they had started. She turned around, facing where they had came from. If going forward on this path was leading them to the same place, maybe going backwards would change things up. Worse comes to worse, they'd just be where they are now. Without saying a word, Scarlet slowly started walking towards the other direction, her head hung low as she had her pincers extended. The image of seeing Taiga disappearing into the void was all she could think about.
  6. As the day went on, and Raijin was just happy to not have done anything too serious at the gym. He had been noted earlier that he had been moved to a different room, much to his apathy. He didn't really care which room he was in, nor did he care who his roommate was. As long as they left him alone, he was going to be fine. And, from what he knew about Tora, he was pretty sure that would be the case. It was around late-afternoon, almost night, when Raijin opened the doors to his new room. The first thing he decided to do was to take a shower. Even though he hadn't done much at all, he still managed to work up a sweat. As he showered, he realized just how tired he was. When he stepped out of the bathroom, he was still alone in the room. He took a second to take in his surroundings. Obviously it was bigger than the room he had before, as it was meant to house two people instead of one. It even had a second bathroom. "Not bad..." He said to no one in particular, before practically tossing himself onto the bed. The bed was... well, it was better than the ones at the lab for sure. Raijin let out a yawn, before slowly drifting off to sleep. As he did, he started snoring, deep in slumber. He didn't even hear all the commotion that was happening outside, nor did he hear his roommate whenever she came in.
  7. "Aww, you've got someone back home?" Cyan sarcastically remarked, chuckling. "Yer probably tryin' real hard to get back then, huh?" He laughed a bit more, but before anyone could say anything, the drinks came in. "Ah, finally!" He said, grabbing his drink from the group and swinging it. He turned to Tegur, chuckling. "Hey now, if it were up to me I'd be kicking ass right now instead of bummin' around!" He said, laughing as he shook his drink around. He turned back to Silver, chuckling. "Well, we wouldn't want to keep ya from yer work for too long." He raised his glass towards her. "Whatever it is that you do." He took another swing from his glass, before giving her a curious look. "Actually what is it that you do?" He pointed the finger that was holding the glass. "An' don't just say business." He said with a chuckle. She leans towards Cyan, looking up at him from under her eyelashes. "Business." She says. Then, smirking, "I help run the casino in the city, but I have my toes in a few other ventures. Hard for a woman like me to be satisfied after all." "Ooh a casino!" He said, shaking his mug around. "I went to a casino not too long ago. Mighta been the same place." His grin faded slightly as he remembered what he had seen at the casino place. "I hope it wasn't anyways." He turned back to Silver. "Place I went to had fairies doin' work they weren't cut out for. Poor things could barely carry the plates 'round." "Oh? Is that so?" She said, her expression not changing. "Yeah!" He said, slamming the mug back on the table. "When I saw that shit I was furious! I wanted to burn down the place so badly..." He let out a sigh, picking up his mug from the table. "...but that wouldn't have help anybody. Plus I'd be stranded on some... planet..." He muttered the last part, shuddering as he remembered about the whole planets thing. "I just wish there was something I could do about it, ya know?" "Well now, didn't expect you to be such a bleeding heart." She said, before going silent for a bit. "You know, your employer probably could do something about it. But she hasn't. I wonder why that is." He let out a sigh. "Who knows what that bi... woman... is capable of." He said, leaning back. "Although I've never thought to ask her..." He said, placing his hand on his chin. "Ya know, that ain't a bad idea." "I wonder how she'll react to that." Silver said, ominous chuckling. "Huh? What's that suppose to mean?" He said, before shaking his head. "Ah, who cares! I'll worry about that shit later." He said, his face shifting back to his iconic grin as he glanced down his now mostly empty mug. "Right now the only thing I'm worried about is runnin' out of drink!"
  8. "Wait did you just say..." Palmon started, before Todd interupted. The plant digimon put her hand on her chin, thinking about something. Dominic, meanwhile, roll his eyes. "Honestly I'd rather that thing kill us than hear any of you talk for one more second..." He said, before noticing Kokoro appeared. Great, another idiot. Palmon didn't seem to notice her as she turned towards the cacti, a slight frown forming on her face. Before he knew it, however, Conner had disappeared. In his place was a flaming man in red armor. Dominic could only assume that this man had snuck in and killed the boy while they were bickering - the other alternative was... "It can't be that bad...," Dominic couldn't believe what he was hearing. "Now we have a fighting chance!" "Wait wait wait..." Dominic said, stepping back a bit. "How... what... why..." He shook his head, noticing that a bunch of people were piling into the room. Great. Palmon, however, was applauding. "Wooow!" She said, walking up to Connor. "That's... incredible! I never thought I'd see Agunimon again..." She said, before turning towards the others with their digivices. He grin became mischievous. "Now THIS is exciting!" She turned back to the cacti. "Sorry lads, but this is where I leave. Whatever these pendejos are doing, ya girl's goin' on an adventure!" She laughed, although there was a bit of a somber feeling to it. Dominic was still trying to process everything that was going on, convinced that this was all a bad fever dream. He found himself slumped on the wall, clutching his head. "Why... why me?" He muttered.
  9. Suda was starting to get frustrated with these bombs. He was making no progress on moving this cube, and any progress that he made reset as soon as he stopped concentration on his orbs. He even tried moving the cube little by little using his orbs, but the amount of force that he needed to move the cube would then trigger the nearby bombs. "Gaaah!" He shouted, kicking a wall that he knew didn't have a bomb on it. "This is so dumb!" He screamed at no one in particular, leaning onto the wall and sliding down to the ground. He placed his hands over his head, letting out a frustrated grunt. No matter what he did, the whole situation felt hopeless. All of his attempts to move this dumb cube have, quite literally, blown up in his face. His body was singed with scars of his failures as he gripped his hair. His doubts were begging to creep on him, like they did when he was alone at home. Maybe he wasn't cut out for this hero stuff like he thought. He stood back up. "No..." He muttered, gripping his burned hand. "This is not how my story ends!" He declared, staring at the bomb. "I'm getting the hell out of here!" He had to be smart about this. No matter what he tried, his orbs always seemed to drag everything around it. Not only that, but he had to move the cube all at once, and it didn't seem to want to be jerked around at all. This was similar to the problem he had with helping Springlock - his orbs attracted everything around them. He never thought it was possible, but a solution did come to Suda's mind - if he could somehow direct the field of his orbs, as to only pull the cube, maybe he could drag it across the room. A cute idea, but he had no idea where to even start. Still, that's what the solution seemed to be. Suda took a deep breath, closing his eyes. He cleared his mind of everything - his doubts, the field trip, even himself - and focused on one thing. The cube. With slight hesistation, Suda thrust his arm forwards towards the hole, another orb forming. And again, the bombs around the room detonated, leaving Suda to shout in pain once again as he flew back. While on the ground, however, he noticed that some of the bombs were still there. Specifically, there was a small cluster of them behind where he had placed his orb. He knew they hadn't moved because soon after the new bombs redeployed from the walls, filling the room again with bombs. Suda chuckled, before bursting into laughter. It wasn't much progress, but he had done it. He had done the impossible. He got up, ready to try once more. He was going to do this. . . . It took him what he felt like was an eternity. His body was covered in bruises and burn marks, but his face had a wicked grin on it, as the cube slowly move along the ground towards the hole. He was sweating - this was taking a lot more energy out of him than he was used too. And yet, he didn't feel the exhaustion, only the adrenaline that pumped in his veins. His focus was completely on his orb, located near the hole that the cube had to go in. The bombs around him stood perfectly still as the cube reached his destination. Once the cube locked into place, the doors opened. "Yes. YES! YES!" Suda shouted, his knees giving in as he collapsed onto himself. He had done what he thought all this time was impossible. He had controlled the field of his attraction. Slowly, he picked himself up, wiping his brow before dusting off his jacket. He was tired, but he also felt like he was on top of the world now. With a wide grin on his face, he confidently walked through the door. It felt good, taking his first step outside the room which he felt like he had spent hours in perfecting something he didn’t even know he could do. However, his grin didn’t last very long, as he entered another empty room. Empty, except for a lone girl standing there. A girl who immediately locked her eyes onto Suda. “Gh… you again!?” If Suda was listening closely, he could have probably made out an off-handed muttering about how they’ll let anyone into U.A. The girl entered a combative stance. “If we’re here to fight, I won’t lose twice in a row.” Suda’s eyes locked onto the girls, seeing her take a battle ready stance. Suda did the same, giving her an intense glare as he put his hands up. So they were forcing him to fight right after mastering his quirk, huh? A bold move, honestly one that he was pretty excited for. He didn't even consider how weak he felt as he raised his hands, ready to take on this new adversary with his new power. However, as he got ready to fight her words finally dawned on him. “Hah! I hope you’re ready to lose… again...” His expression shifted from one of cocky ferocity to one of confusion. “Uh… who are you?” “...” The girl’s focus on the fight in front of her seemed to disippate immediately. Instead, she pointed directly at Suda, angrily yelling “IT’S SUZUME! TACHIBANA SUZUME, CLASS 1-A! YOU MADE A FOOL OUT OF ME DURING THE ENTRANCE EXAM AND THEN FORGOT ABOUT ME ENTIRELY!? AFTER I EVEN WENT OUT OF MY WAY TO TELL YOU NOT TO FORGET!? IF IT WEREN’T FOR THE RULES IN THIS SCHOOL I’D HAVE KICKED THAT SMUG HEAD RIGHT OFF YOUR SHOULDERS!” "Children! Let's not get at each other's throats!" "SUZUME!" A familiar voice rang out. "That is not proper hero behavior! And neither is hogging the microphone!" Suzume audibly gulped, straightening out her posture. She still didn’t seem happy with this situation. Finally, with a scoff, the girl said “Hmph, fine. I guess we’re supposed to work together or something, but let’s get this straight. That doesn’t mean I like you. Got it?” “Team up!?” He said with disgust in his voice. This was even worse than having to fight her. Still, it didn’t seem like there was any other option. “Fiiiine.” Plus, with how his quirk had shaped up, he could actually team up with people now. He turned towards Suzume. “Why are you mad?” He said, crossing his arms. A small grin crossed his face. “As long as you stay out of my way, you’re getting a free pass through this next trial!” “That should be my line to you.” A few of Suzume’s body parts began to spin sporadically - her equivalent of stretching - as she continued “Just stay back and try to look pretty. I’ll show you what a real hero’s supposed to be capable of.” Suda’s eye twitched, but he let out a laugh. “That’s a good one.” He said, walking towards the girl. “Hopefully you can do more than lose medals.” He let out a chuckle, turning his attention towards the spinning body parts. “Nice party trick.” “At least it requires actually doing something, Mr. Gravity Well.” She stretched her arms and legs in a more conventional fashion next. “I’ve got a couple new moves up my sleeve, too. If this were a rematch between us like I’d like it to be, you’d be the one coughing up medals this time.” Suda let out a laugh. “This would be the easiest task if it were a rematch! Even if I didn’t have a few new tricks up my sleeve, you wouldn’t stand a chance again me.”
  10. Deadlands Team Karaoke Lok caught up to Shaymin after she crashed with Kayla. "Huh.... finally..." Lok said, taking a second to catch his breath. "You know... you're a lot faster than I expected... " As he finished saying that, he saw that Nine had been close behind him. As Nine spoke, Lok stood up straight. "Introductions, that's smart!" He extended an arm towards Shaymin. "The name's Lok! I don't think I've introduced myself to you... well, I did to the other you, but not this you, so I guess I did but..." He stopped himself, coughing awkwardly. "...the name's Lok!" He said, giving the legend a toothy grin. "As for the whole fighting thing..." He pointed a thumb towards himself, grinning. "You can leave all the fighting to me!" He turned to Nine, placing his arm around his shoulder. "Well, more like us, but... you get the idea." He chuckled a bit. His expression turned from a toothy grin to a soft smile. "We don't want to force you to do anything you don't want... But you don't need to try and contain it with a barrier anymore." "You've got us." Skuldafn Team Showdown Scarlet stayed quiet as she followed behind Taiga through the winding path that Lys was taking them through. She took a look around her, taking in the scene - she had only heard legends of this place, as the people of Skuldafn were very closed off. It was definitely a place she had always wanted to visit, but never though she would. It was definitely a sight to behold, one that she wouldn't forget. "Your followers are not very talkative I see." Scarlet brought her attention back to Lys, having just realized she lost herself for a moment. "Ah, forgive me. I just... never thought I'd actually get to see Skuldafn." Scarlet said, turning back to the mountains. "It's quite beautiful." She said softly, moreso to herself than to anyone else. As they kept walking, they eventually made it to the Elder - an older looking Dragonite awaited them. Scarlet felt the Dragonite's gaze over her as she bowed. "So he did not tell you we were coming?" She said, standing back up. "I guess he does have a lot on his plate as of late..." She said, rubbing the back of her head. "...anyways, he sent us to speak with you about a Temple."
  11. Ivan took in a deep breath as they stepped out of the lighthouse. While it hadn't gone the way he had wanted too, he couldn't say he regretted going there. After all, he had caught the third member of his team, which was shaping up rather nicely. He turned to his other companions, Belle mentioning getting food. "I could go for some food myself." He said, patting his stomach. Jacklyn seemed very excited at the idea of eating food, mention how important it was to taste the flavor of each place. "Then it's settled - we get some food." He said, turning towards the rest of the city. "Plus, it'd be good for our Pokemon to get some rest." As Jacklyn pointed towards the town, he shook his head at the mention of shopping. Right, they had said they were going to do that. "I guess we can do some quick shopping." He said, crossing his arms as he walked passed Jacklyn. "Before any of that, though, we should find a Pokemon Center." He said without turning towards the other girls, looking around. "Gotta make sure everyone is in good condition for training."
  12. One of these days, I'm going to come up with something really interesting." That is when the interview will end. When I am so close to my deadline, it feels good to make a decision and leave, because I won't have done anything wrong. In the middle of my research on this subject, I was looking into the history of human relationships with animals and how we came to think humans and other animals were the same. I had a feeling I had to do a study that would make me think that way, but it was never quite like that. At first glance I was going to get straight back to my subject of research on this subject, but at the last minute I decided, as is natural in scientific research, to do something new; something that might change my mind a bit about the animal-human relationship. I had always been fascinated by the relationship between the two animals and animals themselves, and I'm trying to see why it is that we think the same. I'm fascinated by the fact we live in such close and intimate contact with animals, how we love them the way we
  13. "So this is Cherrygrove..." Olivia said with wonder in her voice, taking in the view as she made her way off of the shore. It wasn't as pretty as her beautiful city - it was much smaller, that was for sure, but it had its own charm that Olivia couldn't help but appreciate. Cerbi was next to the girl, excitedly taking in the scenery next to his trainer. "So, are you ready to embark on this wonderful journey, Cerbi? This is our first step!" She said, rubbing Cerbi's head as the Houndour let out a happy bark. Olivia smiled, before slowly making her way towards the small port town, Cerbi following close behind. "First things first..." She said, scanning the place for a Pokemon Center. It didn't take her too long to spot the all too familiar red roof that the centers were known for. The girl pointed her finger towards it. "Aha! There it is!" She said confidently, turning to Cerbi. "Lets go, cerbi." The Houndoom howled eagerly as the girl daintily skipped her way towards the center. When she was close, she saw a group of Pidgeys fly away from the center. The cause of it was a rather playful and well-groomed Shinx, around its neck was a Red Scarf similar to the one Cerbi had on. "Ah~!" She said as she made her way towards the Pokemon. "What an adorable little Pokemon you are!" She placed her hand on her right cheek, tilting her head. "Your coat is absolutely belle~!" She didn't even seem to notice the Shinx's trainer approaching. Meanwhile, Cerbi didn't seem as captivated by the little Pokemon as his trainer. In fact, the Houndour scoffed at the Shinx, giving the electric Pokemon a rather nasty glare.
  14. Deadlands Team Karaoke Lok pumped his fist as Gwen's father and the Enforcer filled in Nine with some information. He seemed to be willing to help afterwards, which was great. "Great!" Lok said, turning to Shaymin and noticing her distress. She didn't seem keen on letting go of the barrier, afraid of what lied behind it. So much so that she not only said she wasn't willing to let go of the barrier, but made a run for it. "Shaymin!" Lok shouted, immediately following after her. He felt bad for the legend, and didn't particularly want to force her to lower the barrier. Still, he couldn't let her run around the city like this, especially not now. He chased after the legend. Skuldafn Team Showdown When they got to Skuldafn, Scarlet noticed that Rayquaza hadn't wasted any time by planting them right in front of some pedestal and Druddigon, who didn't seem pleased to see them. Judging from what they were saying, they seemed to be some sort of disciples of Rayquaza. Scarlet turned to Taiga as she made her way towards the two, giving the group a confident smile before speaking to them. She had to admit, Taiga's performance was very well done, even bowing before the two Druddigon. Scarlet did the same, before looking up towards the Druddigon. "As my friend said, we have been sent here by Lord Rayquaza himself." She simple said, staying knelled down until Taiga herself got up.
  15. When he stepped in the room, he was greeted by a bunch of small, ticking orbs with red lights in them .The room itself seemed to be a series of metallic plates with certain shapes on them for purposes Suda did not understand. The boy scratched the side of his head. It took him a while of scanning the room to notice a very small cube on one side of the room, and a rather obviously cube-shaped hole on the other side of the same size. "Tch, this is the best they got?" Suda scoffed, rolling his eyes, as he carefully maneuvered the various orbs scattered across the floor. All he had to do was to move the block from point A to point B, while walking around the minefield. It seemed simple enough - he wouldn't even need his quirk for this. "This is a joke, right?" He said, reaching down to pick up the small cube as he could fit it in one hand. "Huh?" The cube didn't seem to budge at all, which prompted Suda to start tugging on the cube harder. He knew the cube should be able to move - it was the obvious solution - and he could feel what felt like a mechanism release the cube, signalling that it was intended to move. And yet, move it did not. Suda became more and more frustrated before realizing what the deal was. "So I do have to use my quirk then... Ok ok..." He said, grinning. While he wasn't a force of physical strength, the force from his orbs certainly would do the job. Pointing his arm towards the hole, he flung one of his many gravitational orbs towards it, and grinned as he was ready to reap the rewards. As soon as he did, and everything in the room started moving, all of the orbs detonated, causing Suda to scream out in pain and lose concentration on his orb. He grimaced as he turned towards the cube, which hadn't even budged an inch from what he did. He was furious, but let out an angry sigh. "Well, at least the bombs are gone." As if to spite him, holes opened up from everywhere in the room, dispensing the orbs once again. After being dispensed, the bombs started ticking once more, the red lights blinking as if to taunt him. Suda could feel his eye twitch, as he let out a scream of rage. "WHAT IS THIS BULLSHIT!?" He let out, slamming his fist on one of the walls. Unfortunately, his hand happened to be next to one of the bombs, which almost immediately detonated right on him. This one left a nasty burn mark on his fist, as he let out a growl. This wasn't training - this was hell.
  16. "Eh!?" Ivan said, his face curling into a scowl. That runt was lucky enough that Ivan wasn't beating him into the ground for the stunt he pulled - no way in hell he was going to apologize to him. Ivan crossed his arms, but before he could respond to Jacklyn, he turned to Dennis as he spoke up. For once he said something Ivan could agree with. "Ya heard him." He simply said, ready to turn around and walk out. But then the Haunter made its way towards him, extending its hand out to him. She seemed apologetic, but was a bit hard to actually tell by the ghost's tone. Ivan hesitated at first, thinking about what the Haunter could do to him, before shaking his head. It seemed they were at peace for now, and if the Haunter tried to do anything funny, well... hopefully it knew better. Ivan accepted the hand-shake from the ghost. "Fine, I'm sorry." He grumbled, turning towards Dennis, before turning his head towards Jacklyn. "He's lucky I have a soft spot for 'mons." He grumbled again, shaking his head before turning towards the exit. "Now that we're all fine and dandy can we get out of here?"
  17. He grinned as he saw the girl sit at one of the tables from the corner of his eye. The place was full of shady people, which Archer wasn't too pleased with, but he tried not to mind it too much - as long as they left him and his master alone, they'd get along just fine. He turned his full attention to the bar tender. "Get me a mug of yer finest ale." He said, reaching into his pocket and pulling out the cash that Astoria had given him earlier. With a nod, the bar keep grabbed the cash and turned around. "Thank ye kindly." He said, clicking his tongue as he gave the person a finger gun. He turned around to go back to his seat, when he noticed a group of drunken creeps ogling Astoria. The servant scowled, storming his way back towards the table with a faux grin on his face. When he got there, he slammed his arm onto the table, standing right behind the man that was closest to Astoria. "'scuse me." He simply said, grabbing the man by the shoulder. "If ya don't mind, I'd like to spend time with my associate here in peace." He glanced at the rest of the crowd. "Y'all better be movin' along on yer own way." He turned back to the first guy, flashing him a grin. "Else we're gonna have a problem." While it would be better for everyone if they headed his warning, he both knew and wanted them to start a ruckus. He always did enjoy a good bar fight.
  18. Deadlands Team Karaoke Lok smiled as he seemed to have convinced Skymin, before watching as the legend transformed back into the Shaymin that they had seen when they got here. However, before he left he had grown Sitrus Berries from out of nowhere, which was very impressive to Lok. He watched as Gwen and Nine talked, taking a bite from one of the berries. It seemed like they were done here, as the group made their way back with Shaymin. When they got there, everything was extra tense. The Enforcer and Gwen's father didn't seem all that excited about them bringing back Shaymin. As it turned out, Omega had launched an attack on them while they were being attacked. Lok had noticed that Nine wasn't so keen on being kept in the dark since they got here, and now he was asking to know what was happening. Lok let out a sigh, turning to the two. "I think we should probably get everyone here on the same page... I don't think we can afford to be distrusting each other right now." Sky Palace Team Showdown The very next day, Rayquaza gave them what sounded like their most dangerous mission yet. He didn't even name the legend in question, only that they slumbered under the Temple. Scarlet stared down the Twister, determination in her eyes, before she turned to her Isole. "Well, this is it."
