  1. Suda felt like he had been waiting for this Monday his whole life. They were split into two different teams for the field trip, his team having some of the more interesting classmates in it. He gave his group one glance, grinning from sheer excitement. He followed Spring Lock into the bus, watching as the other bus seemed to part ways from them. He could only wonder where the other bus was going, but he didn't have much time to imagine as he saw their bus take a more natural route. Before he knew it, he found himself in a forest. Spring Lock explained that they were in Ewok Forest, looking for a strange presence. Suda took the time to appreciate his surroundings. He was so used to the city life, skylines littered with neon lights and buildings - this was a nice change of pace. Suda shook his head. This was no time for site seeing; they had a job. He saw that Val and Yuudai were going off to go investigate the river, while Misu and Katsurou were chatting up as they looked at the forest. "Groups of two, huh... that's a good idea!" Suda said to himself, turning to the rest of the group. "We should split into groups of two and look around." He smirked, pointing his thumb towards himself. "I'm gonna go deeper through the trees..." It was then he noticed that the only person left in the group was Diana. "Huh, I could have sworn we had more people..." He said, before shaking his head. He turned to Diana. "...ya comin' with?"
  2. Dominic managed to push the beast off of Connor, grunting as the dragon seemed to squirm in his arms. "Hey!" The boy shouted as the beast smacked his head. "Why you little...!" He wasn't going to let this one go so easily. He chased the dragon, who seemed barely able to fly and yet managed to hang just out of reach, annoyed by the whole situation. Just as the dragon managed to get completely out of his reach, Romy finally made herself useful and caught the damn thing. "Took you long enough..." Dominic remarked bitterly, although he was ignored as she started talking to it. The dragon turned to Dominic. "Gonna try and get past her, tough guy?" The boy's eye twitched in annoyance. This thing was somehow dumber than the people he was with - didn't he realize that she was on his side? He glared at the dragon, his gaze shifting towards Romy who gave him a glance of her own. Wait was she... trying to befriend the damn thing? He knew that some of them had planned on befriending these monsters, but he didn't think anyone would actually try it. Even more to his surprise, it seemed to have actually worked, as the two continued to converse. He continued to watch the two, ignoring Theo's antics. "Are you... Did you just..." He started, before letting out an annoyed sigh. This wasn't worth his time or his breath - none of this was. "...whatever." He simply said, rolling his eyes as he turned his back to the pair, crossing his arms. He turned back to Theo and Connor. "We should go find the others that ran off."
  3. Jacklyn seemed to be on board with the idea, while Belle... well, she would have been dragged to wherever they went no matter what. Without hesitation, the trio made their way towards the lighthouse, which was much bigger than Ivan had anticipated. Jacklyn wasted no time, opening the doors, although it seemed like she was struggling to get it open. As Ivan was about to help, however, she managed to get the creaky doors to swing open. As the team made their way through the door, they were greeted by a spiral staircase. Ivan took a look around the musty room, noting the silhouettes of Pokemon that seemed to very much want to avoid anything to do with them. Ivan let out a whistle as he looked around, turning to the other two. Jacklyn seemed to be waiting for someone to make the first move, and he knew that Belle wasn't going to make it. With a shrug, he stepped towards the staircase, gesturing the group to follow him. "C'mon, we don't got all day." He said, planting his foot onto the first step of the stairs. It was hard to see what was in front of them, but that didn't stop Ivan. Taking a deep breath, he continued, not checking to see if the others had actually followed. He knew at least Jacklyn would.
  4. Alpha Team Karaoke Lok turned between the two figures as he waited to see what happened. Eventually, after an awkward silence, they would let her go - on one condition. Lok winced at the mention of Omega, knowing where this was going. It seemed that the bad blood between the two ghost towns had not changed since he left. Still, he had no problems helping against Omega, especially with his friend's life on the line. "Of course." Lok said, turning towards the Enforcer. "I'll gladly help." He said, nodding. He turned to Nine, who also seemed willing to help out, although he wanted to know how they stacked up against them. He turned back to the Enforcer, waiting to see what his answer would be. Sky Temple Team Showdown The next morning came, and Scarlet felt more at ease after enjoying her alone time on the balcony. She had actually fallen asleep on the balcony, funnily enough. Despite her feeling better, though, the scene around her was getting more and more tense. The Legends in general seemed to be getting more and more on edge as more of them came into Rayquaza's home. Scarlet tried to ignore it - the sooner they finished all this, the sooner everyone could go back and get away from each other. Rayquaza was no exception, seeming to be stressed out. He seemed anxious to get Landorous as soon as possible, something Scarlet could relate with. When Rayquaza asked them if they had any questions, Scarlet simply shook her head. "No questions here - lets get this done as soon as possible." She said, stretching her arms in front of her. She waited to see if any of the others had questions to ask Rayquaza, before preparing to head out. After the all too familiar transport, they were back on Oasis. Around her were camels walking along the sand. "Well, we're here..." She said to no one in particular, looking around her. It wasn't too long ago that she was here, right when all of this started. To think that she would be out gathering some sort of super legendary team not long after what she thought would be a simple expedition. She turned to Taiga and Isole, a soft smile forming on her face. She wouldn't have had it any other way.

  6. "Finally..." Ivan said, shaking his head as he took in the view of his new location. Jacklyn seemed to want to go shopping again. "So we're doin' this every time we go to a new city?" Ivan said, shaking his head. He let out an annoyed sigh. "Alright, let's get this shopping done quickly then." He said, slipping his hands into his jacket pockets. The city seemed to not stop, people moving in and out of buildings at this hour. What had caught Ivan's attention was the lighthouse at the harbor. He turned to the rest of the group. "Say, before we go shoppin'. How 'bout we investigate that." He said, pointing at the lighthouse. He could see some birds flying around it, although it was hard to make out what Pokemon they were due to the distance.
  7. "I-I just could use a bit of practice, that's all," Tora said sheepishly as she began to shrink back away from him. Raijin simply rolled his eyes. "Whatever ya say..." She was a shy one, which would make it a pain to talk to her. He turned his attention back towards the television, leaning against the wall. There wasn't much left to see, however, as it seemed that Leiko was all out of juice. He watched the girl crumple like paper as the system declared Zirco the winner due to disqualification. A bit of an anticlimactic end, but even Raijin had to admit what he saw was pretty intense. "I hope she's okay," Tora spoke up again, seemingly thinking out loud. Raijin picked himself off of the wall, turning to the two D-Wheels that had pulled in. "Oy," Gil spoke up to the other signers, standing up and grabbing the edge of the couch. "If he goes to attack her, help me restrain him, yeah?" Raijin simply shrugged, before watching Gil leap and slide to get between Zirco and Leiko. Zirco didn't seem happy, but when did he ever. He tilted his head towards Tora. "Well, he isn't smashing her head in, so that's a good sign." He remarked dryly, keeping his glance towards the two other duelist. His eyes were focused on Leiko, waiting to see what her response was going to be.
  8. Things were starting to heat up! Or at least, they were, until Val's wrist started to vibrate. Confused, Cyan's punches started slowing down, although he managed to get one in while she was calling someone. "Quit callin' and g- Hey!" He shouted as the fist hit his face. It seemed that whatever it was that she had to do before they started sparring had came up sooner than expected. "Are you serious!? We were just getting started!" He shouted after the girl, but she was already sprinting away. "I think you got stood up." Cyan simply growled at the girl, before a rain cloud formed above him. "Did you want to check that out?" "HEY!" He barked towards her, gritting his teeth as his clothing got damp. He shook his head. "Aaaauuugh! Fine! It's not like I have anything better to do..." He cursed under his breath as he followed behind Val, crossing his arms. "We stopped fighting for this!?" He remarked as he entered the tennis court mid match. Val was playing against a maid, a rather confusing site to behold. "Why are humans so stupid..." He shook his head, annoyed by the whole situation. As he crossed his arms, he noticed he got a message on his watch. It seemed like they had some more new blood - someone called Ross. They seemed to want to meet up at the arena. Cyan grinned, always excited to see what new opponents he had to face. If the others were anything to go buy, they would also put up a good fight. He turned to Morgan. "Looks like we got new blood. Wanna go see what they're made of?"
  9. Dominic's head turned towards what sounded like screaming outside. While they were stupid, the people around him weren't deaf, as seemed to also hear it. Dominic followed behind the trio of students, comfortably planting his hands inside his pockets. When he got there, he saw none other than Theodore's jolly ass running his mouth again. His face curled into a grimace. "Not this idiot." Dominic growled under his breath, glaring at the boy. He didn't like this guy at all. How could someone be so optimistic in a situation like this? And, on top of his obnoxious happiness, he was annoying to boot. How one man could talk so much without running out of oxygen was beyond Dom. He glanced over at Romy as she ran to the boys side, scoffing. Annoying or not, that wasn't important. What was important was whatever was above them. Kokoro used her shoe to knock out the panel above them. Dominic was about to call her a reckless idiot when three of those monsters dropped from the ceiling, one right on top of Connor, who had just arrived on the scene. "Now you've done it...!" Dominic shouted, gritting his teeth as he pulled out his fists from his pockets. Kokoro and Chris, like the idiots they were, chased after the two monsters on their own, leaving Theodore, Romy, and Connor behind with the dragon. He was tempted to leave the monster on top of Connor, seeing as it was struggling to pick itself up. However, this was a dumb idea, especially since he figured the beast would eventually get up. With an annoyed sigh, he turned to Theodore and Romy. "You imbeciles plan on just standing there?" He said, walking past the two and running towards Connor. With one swift action, Dominic tackled the beast in an attempt to get it off of his fellow student.
  10. Hoshiko was especially excited today. Today was club meeting day and, despite her only knowing about this not too long ago, she felt like she had been waiting for years for this day. With a spring in her step, she joyfully made her way out after getting ready and headed towards where they were meeting. Souji had sent them all a message to meet at room 24. She was surprised by how sudden it was, but loved the enthusiasm shown by Souji. "Wouldn't expect any less from you, Rider." She said softy to herself, speeding up as she made her way towards the club room. Not too long after Souji had sent the message, Hoshiko came through the door, a smile on her face as she looked around. It seemed that, outside of Souji himself, she had been the first to arrive. "Good morning Souji~!" She said, taking one of the nearby seats. "I'm sooo excited for today, you don't even know!" She exclaimed, placing her hands on her lap. She leaned in towards the boy. "Sooooo, what do you have planned for today~?"
  11. Alpha Team Karaoke His hunch was right, it would seem, as he saw Kayla being held up by The Enforcer's grip by the arms. Lok rubbed the back of his head as he glared at the knife that was aimed right at the girl's neck. Lok let out a nervous sigh as Nine spoke, before speaking up after Nine finished. "I must apologize for our friends here. They're... how do I put it... just a tad curious" He said, letting out a nervous chuckle. "She must have stumbled in there on accident... we'll be sure to keep a closer eye on her." Lok said, turning to Kayla, before turning to the Enforcer. A wave of dread hit Lok, but he continued. "So please... can you let her go? We'll be out of your hair as soon as possible."
  12. Alpha Team Karaoke It was nice to have some time to just sit down and enjoy a meal with friends for once. Unfortunately, it would only last for a short while as a Ghastly came through the wall in a panic. There seemed to be some sort of trouble with The Enforcer. Lok let out a sigh as he shook his head. "I'm going too." He said, following behind Nine and Gwen's father. He didn't like the idea of venturing out with him, but he felt it was pressing that he tagged along. "After all, wouldn't want to leave me alone in your home, right?" He said with a slight jovial tone, although he was deeply concerned with what was going on. He had a hunch as to who had gotten caught by The Enforcer. Sky Temple Team Showdown Scarlet nodded without hesitation at Celebi's question. "If I have to keep fighting, then I will." Celebi gave Scarlet an incredulous look. "Why? What's the use in fighting if you have to constantly do it? Don't you have anything else you want to do?" Scarlet turns Celebi, tilting her head slightly. "Someone needs to protect this beautiful world of ours." She gestures out towards the sky. "Before all of this started, I would explore the world and see what wonders lied before me. The people I met always amazed me. Even if I can't stop to smell the flowers, someone else can appreciate their beauty." She said, placing her pincers on her lap. Celebi didn't seem ok with this answer, however, as she shook her head with an annoyed look. "No, no, that's not what the world is for. You all are supposed to enjoy it. All of you." Scarlet let out a chuckle. "In a perfect world, yes. But I won't stand idly while watching the world crumble around me, especially when I can do something about it." Celebi started to pout as she heard Scarlet's answer. "Kids should be kids." She huffed. "Maybe, but someone has to stand up to the bullies. Even if it's another kid." Celebi sighs and starts to move away, muttering, "Not much time left at all." As she goes. Scarlet turned towards her, thinking about what to say, but she was gone before she could say anything. "Wonder what that was about..." Scarlet said, turning back to the sky. The view was nice from up here, so she stayed on the balcony, letting Celebi's words sink in as she rested there.
  13. As the newbie came into the room, Riku had finished his drawing. Putting it into the bag, he raised his hand and waved it towards Amane. "Yo." He simple said, slowly getting out of his seat. He watched as Ichigo and Amane talked about custom model gunplas as Riku turned his attention to the Solid Image that was laid on the table. It was pretty good, despite the fact that a lot of the parts on it were custom made. "Not bad..." Riku said, reaching into his bag. He pulled out his gunpla and lazily put it on the table. "Since we're sharing, here's mine." The Gundam AGE-2 Dark Hound stood there on the table, it's shiny black coating glimmering as the pink highlights seemed to glow. "I've dabbled a bit in custom design myself, although mine's heavily based off existing models." He said sheepishly. scratching his cheek. He smiled as he looked at his gunpla, as he always did when he saw his work. He would be lying if he said he wasn't proud of Dark Hound. He was especially proud of the paintjob on it. Slowly, he returned to his seat, his gunpla standing proudly on the table.
  14. When Suda got home, it was empty as usual. Suda let out a sigh - he had hoped that today at least one of them would actually be here. The sooner he got one of them to sign the slip the better. Reluctantly, he made his way towards the kitchen to prepare himself something before calling his mother. This was one of the few times Sofia wasn't too busy, and he knew that out of the two of them she was the most likely to sign it without question. Plus her signature would be better for showing off - he doubted the others had listen to 'Skull Crack' by Oto, but Sofia Hawk was an international super star. At least someone would have heard of her. With a slight grin on his face, he made himself a simple meal. After finishing his sandwich, he got to work. Pulling out his phone, he dialed up his mom's family number. Suda was expecting it to go to voice mail, and was shocked when she actually picked up the phone. "<Hello~!>" She said, before coughing a bit. "Sorry, it's a habit." She laughed softly, Suda forcing himself to laugh alongside her, before she continued. "Anyways, what's up sweetie? I'm in a bit of a rush." She spoke with an unnatural amount of sweetness. She probably recently finished a meet'n'greet or something. Suda simply rolled his eyes, not wanting to waste any more time. "Heey, Mom! Just callin' to see when you'd get home. I got this permission slip I ne-" Before he could finish, however, he was cut off. "Oh, how lovely! Of course I'll sign your permission slip sweetie." Suda simply chuckled. "Thanks." He stopped for a second. "So... how's it goi-" "Love you too, sweetie. Just leave it by the table counter. Gotta go!" Again, he was cut off, and before Suda could say anything else, the call ended. "...ing." Suda let out a sigh, putting the phone away. All things considering, this had gone better than he had hoped, he told himself. Without saying much else, he left the slip on the table counter, before going to get a sticky note to make sure she signed it. Not being able to do much else, he made his way towards his room. A week had past since then, in Suda's bag was the slip with a very fancy signature in it. Today, however, was not the day for the field trip. Instead, they had a quirk evaluation, set with 3 tests for the class. A target practice ring, an obstacle course, and a punching bag. The obstacles and the bag wouldn't be too much of a problem for him, Suda thought, but the target practice... His quirk didn't have any sort of projectile capabilities, so that would be rather difficult. He'd come up with something later. Suda stood as he watched the others go first - after all, it would be rude for him to upstage his fellow classmates. Valerie seemed to want to set some sort of bar for the class. Suda simply scoffed, although he was rather impressed with what she was doing. Even without an enhancement quirk, she did rather well with the punching bag and the obstacle course despite not using her quirk, and when she did use it she shot down the targets with flames. She was clearly some sort of athlete, although he could have told you that just by looking at her. Next up was Yuudai, who made Val seem frail by comparison. It didn't help that he seemed to have some very strange muscles on him - almost chain-like. Unsurprisingly, as his muscles seemed to rev up, he did very well with the punching bag, and the obstacle course was no issue either. Suda was starting to get worried, as his class mates were doing much better than he excepted. However, it seemed despite his great physical abilities, Yuudai also didn't have a way to deal with the targets. Suda knew he had to figure out a way to hit them now. Itsuki was next and, while at first his punching wasn't doing much, Suda noticed a strange barrier form behind the bag. "So that's his plan..." Suda said to no one in particular. This one didn't even bother trying to do the targets as they moved onto the obstacle course. He seemed to be doing ok with it too, using those green barriers to simply skip over the whole thing. However, as he got further and further, the color from the barriers seemed to go away. Suda snickered as he watched the boy flop. Next up was Lesnar, who used some sort of propulsion from his palms to give him boosts during the obstacle course. He used this sound blasts from his hands to blow away most of the villains from the target stand. Last up was the punching bag, which he lunged towards and delivered a rather powerful kick on it. However, his sound quirk seemed to have either exhausted him or damaged him as he laid limp on the ground after the kick. While he was able to just barely get up and out of the way, he was very clearly strained. The kick had given Suda an idea, as he smirked while the next person came up. Hibiki was next, she pretty easily made it through the obstacle course with the combination of her wings and a bit of screaming. Her eyes were closed during the whole thing and, after all of that, she seemed like she had never gone through an obstacle course. Her wing also managed to do well enough with the punching bag. However, like some of the others before, she did not attempt to do the target practice. Suda cracked his neck - it was his turn. "That was all fine and dandy. Let me show you what true talent looks like." He said confidently, walking up towards the obstacle course. The first ramp was a relatively easy thing to get over, as he pointed his finger up above it to form an orb. As he ran up the curved ramp, the gravity from the orb started to pull him upwards, making it easier to finish the climb. As he made it over the edge, the orb disappeared and he stood proudly on top of the ramp. The rest of the course was similar to this - Suda knew he wouldn't have enough stamina to simply orb jump over everything, plus it wouldn't have been as flashy. Instead, he continuously used his orbs to lighten the effect of gravity in order to, with some effort, get through the course. Suda smiled confidently, a bit tired but still in good shape. The next step was the punching bag. He couldn't really punch it all that hard - that wasn't what his quirk did - so instead he used one of his gravity orbs to pull the bag as far towards him as he could. As the bag hovered in the air, Suda raised his arm up and, as soon as it started coming down, the orb dissipated. As the bag started to fall, his fist slammed into the bag, giving it a bit more force as it swung past the sensor. The score wasn't as impressive as some of his competition, but it was a tad higher than those who did not use their quirk for this test. Suda was pleased, as he turned to the target practice. He knew his quirk wasn't able to hit any of these targets, so he was going to do the next best thing. Aiming his finger, he pointed to the target that was closest to him. Behind the target formed the orb, and it was then Suda realized a flaw in his plan - the targets were moving. However, he had already fired the orb. It was too late to back out now. With a deep breath, Suda stepped back, trying to time it just right, before jumping towards the orb with a drop kick. The force of the orb pulled Suda's legs towards it, as Suda grit his teeth. He had barely missed, the target hitting his leg as the orb disappeared. Suda let out a grunt as his back slammed onto the target and he fell on the floor. That one... was painful, to say the least. Shakily, Suda picked himself up, facing away from the other students as he stumbled his way off of the target range. If anyone saw his face, they'd see his face was as red as a tomato in embarrassment with a pained expression from the physical paint he had just experienced. "Damn it Suda, what were you thinking!?" Suda barked under his breath as he shuffled out of the way. Not one of his finest plans.
  15. As Cherie played with Wisteria, the small Budew jumped on top of her head. "Hey!" She said, with a small giggle, as the Budew fell from her head and in front of Cerbi. Cerbi had just about enough of the little twerp, giving the small bud a nasty growl as it landed on his snout. The Houndoom went for a bite, but missed as Wisteria fell and landed on her back. The Houndoor's lips curled into a sinister grin, flames starting to form around its teeth as it prepared to get rid of this pest. Before he could do that, however, something grab him by the snout, the fires extinguishing around its face. "Cerbi!" Cherie scolded, wagging her finger in front of the hound as she gave him a stern look. The Houndoom knew better than to growl at his masters command, instead slightly whimpering as he put his head down. Cherie simply sigh, petting the Houndoom as his tail wagged and he let out a pleased pant. The girl turned her attention to the Budew, who was still struggling to pick itself up. She almost wanted to leave it like that - it was so cute! Still, despite how cute it was on the ground like that, Cherie helped out Wisteria by picking the small bud up. "There there, little one..." Cherie said, before turning her head towards what sounded like someone looking for a Pokemon. It didn't take long to add two and two together. "C'mon, let's go get you back to your trainer." She said with a soft tone in her voice, before turning to Cerbi and addressing him in a much more serious tone. "Let's go Cerbi - and no fighting!" The Houndoom simply rolled his eyes as he jumped off of the seats behind Cherie. One problem came up almost instantly - not only was there a huge crowd of people, but the little bud's trainer seemed to be behind a Wailmer. Irritated, Olivia turned towards the crowd. "Hey! Who's trainer is this Wailer!? I need to return this Budew at once!" Olivia said with a huff in her voice, standing still as she waited for whoever put this gargantuan buffoon in the middle of a crowded center to recall their Pokemon.
  16. Cyan dodged the blow coming towards his head as he felt the heat around him intensifying. "I saw your matches. You like to play up the villain. Unfortunately for you I'm an expert at villain take-downs." The demon cackled as she called him a villain. He was getting a reputation around here - good. It was even better, as she seemed to be some self proclaimed hero kind - something Cyanthrax was all too familiar with. Taking her down was going to be a pleasure. She came in all-out offensive on him, her punches increasing in speed. As they did, Cyanthrax's movements speed increased with her. "Sorry if you can't handle the heat, new guy, I'm only getting warmed up." The heat continued to rise, seemingly causing Morgana distress already. While the demon was starting to sweat, the heat didn't really bother him too severely. "Can't handle the heat!? Don't make me laugh!" Cyanthrax said, pushing one of her punches while side stepping her. With a flick of both wrists, his hands became ablaze. His smirk grew wildly as he stood in a battle-ready position. "You're playing with fire, kid!" He let out a roar, fire erupting from his mouth. Almost immediately, he darted forward with alarming speed, ready to fire off a series of flaming punches towards Val.
  17. As Cherie said walked around the Dining Hall, she heard what sounded like someone groaning from down the Dorm Hallway from a girl in a blue dress, who quickly dipped into one of the rooms and disappeared from sight. "I wonder..." Before she could finished her sentence, a crashing sound cam from a nearby room. "I better go check to see if everyone's ok!" She said, making her way towards the main hall. Ideally, she'd be able to tell whoever made the noise about the upcoming party! When she got to the main hall, she saw a door open with a rather large mess in it. Trays and food containers were spilled all over the floor around the toppled cart. On the ground next to it was a boy who seemed to have tripped, a small scowl on his face as he mumbled, "Shit... I better get this cleaned up..." Cherie walked towards the boy as he picked himself up, turning to face her. "U-Uh, hey. Are you the Ultimate Host...Ess? Uh. That bear popped up in here and told me that this room was made for them, so... If you are, here you go." "Ultimate Hostess? Nah, that ain't me!" Cherie said with a chuckle, making her way towards the boy. "I'll keep that in mind and tell him... her?" Now that she thought about it, she wasn't sure whether her new friend was a boy or a girl. That didn't matter, though - what mattered was that they were hosting a party. "Actually you can probably tell them yourself at the party they're planning!" She said, pointing out towards the door. "It's starting pretty soon~! I can take you there!" She said, smiling widely at him.
  18. Dominic gave a sharp glance around the place, slowly eating his food as the others bickered with each other. The two that caught his attention - Chris and Kokoro were talking about outrunning and capturing one of the little buggers. Dom simply scoffed, rolling his eyes and he took one last bite from his meal. They even wanted to befriend on of them! Dominic had just about enough of this nonsense. "So why are we trying to befriend one of these... imps?" He said, standing up and placing his tray neatly on top of the one that had slid next to him. "We're not negotiating with these beasts." He shook his head - this was about what he expected from these imbeciles. He crossed his arms, giving dumb and dumber a glare. "That said, I think it's a good idea to scope the place out for food. Better than starving in here." He turned his back to the pair, pulling up his scarf again. "Whenever we head out, tell me." He turned his head towards the two. There was no way he was going to let any of these mouth breathers go out on their own.
  19. Alpha Team Karaoke Gwen came through the door, her father's pressure easing up a bit as he calmed down at the site of his daughter. He couldn't help but let out a sigh of relief as Gwen's father left the scene. "That... went a lot better than I expected." Lok said with an uneasy chuckle, before turning towards Gwen. Lok simply shrugged as the girl apologized, although he was still a bit shaken up by the encounter. "It is how it is." He then turned to the kitchen door. "Well, we shouldn't keep them waiting, huh?" He said, hustling towards the door. Lok slowly ate as he took a look around the table. It had been a while since he had sat down and had a nice meal like this - it was a nice change of pace, to say the least. As he reached over to grab a bread, he turned to Nine, who was asking Gwen about the lively hood of the home and town. Lok simply smiled a bit to himself. "Asking if a ghost town is lively - classic." He muttered jokingly, taking a bite of his bread. Sky Temple Team Showdown Scarlet gave Celebi a confused look, tilting her head side ways. She wasn't sure how serious the legend was being with her at that moment, or even what she was talking about. "What do you mean... 'bland?'" She asked, crossing her arms as she kept an eye on the legend. The legend seemed to place her somewhere between Taiga's brashness and Isole's solemness. Scarlet shook her head, standing up from her seat. It didn't matter what some legend thought about her character, if she was underdeveloped or not. "Bland or not, it doesn't change what I really am." She said, turning back towards the legend, a glint of determination in her eye. "I'm a protector, for those who can't defend themselves. Whether people find me interesting or not is irrelevant - I will stop the Godslayers."
  20. Ivan gave the girl a confused look. She didn't seem all there at all - was she on something? He didn't have much time to ponder that, however, as Oswald butted between them, as Ivan glared daggers down at the runt. "So what, you'll whip her into shape before or after the lil' guy gets himself kidnapped?" He butted his face close to Oswald's. "I've seen this play out before, chump. Some naive trainer doesn't keep their eye on their Pokemon, and before they know it..." He backed off a bit, tossing an empty Pokeball in the air, before quickly swiping it as it fell. "...it's gone." Of course, he knew that story all too well, having seen it first hand multiple times. Before he could say anything else, however, a Rhyhorn appeared from the girl and gave him a rather nasty look. Ivan simply scoffed as he glanced over to Naomi, backing up. "You've got luck, girl. Don't squander it." He simply said, before turning his back towards the other trio of trainers, shaking his head. He didn't even fully understand why he cared so much about this; he had barely met the girl's friends, let alone Naomi herself. Maybe it was his way to try and make up for his past, or maybe he had some steam to blow. Either way it didn't matter. He had gotten what he wanted off of his chest.
  21. Suda felt someone tapping on his shoulder and, as he turned around, he saw Hibiki, who was asking him about how she did during the test. "Well..." Suda was having a hard time remembering what exactly Hibiki did. When he tried to recall what happened the other day, all he could see was all the stuff he did. He glanced over to the girl Hibiki was talking about, who was teasing the girl. Crap, he had to try harder. As he focused on what happened, it finally came to him. "Hibiki did good. She screamed. A lot." Suda said proudly, before realizing what he was saying was implying. "N-Not like, panic screaming, but like..." He gestured forwards in a way to attempt a blasting motion. "Like a... super scream! Yeah." He said, putting his hands down. "She held her own against that one girl we met too." He turned to Hibiki, giving the girl a thumbs-up.
  22. Hoshiko smiled as they told her that they thought there was no rules against it. "In that case, I would love to join the Art Club!" She said, beaming at Yusuji. "After I go ask about it, of course." Jun then got a scary look on her face, telling her not to be co-captain for either club. Hoshiko simply tilted her head in confusion. She wondered why Jun had told her that - after all she did plan on being co-captain of the Entertainment Duelist Club. It would be weird for her not too, she felt. Either way, she waved goodbye as Jun made her way back to the other club's stand. It was around there when another boy came walking towards them, with a rather tall girl following behind him. From what she gathered from Souji and Sai's conversation was that this was his friend that was getting their forth. Hoshiko smiled brightly, extending an arm out towards the two. "It's very nice to meet you two. My name is Hoshiko. I hope we have a great time with this club!" She beamed brightly as she let out a small giggle.
  23. I got Windrunner, Betrug, Boom Reaver, and Catrina from my packs. A bit sad but they make for some spicy memes I guess. Might look into getting myself a Jepetto and Ali for that Hunter Meme Deck
  24. Alpha Team Karaoke Lok let out a sigh of relief as the man's attention was focused on Nine instead of him. He was tempted to leave right then and there, as it would have been relatively easy with his abilities. If this happened a few days ago, he might have, but Lok had grown since he had left this town. He wasn't going to abandon Nine against their most terrifying foe. Lok's eyes met with Nines as he was practically frozen as the man's stomach opened up. "H-Hey now, let's not get hasty!" Lok said, quickly stepping between Nine and Gwen's father. "I can assure you, sir, that nothing happened between him and Gwendoline." He said nervously, a beat of sweat dropping down his forehead as he realized just how close he had gotten to the mass. The Dusknoir turned his head towards Lok. "And how can I trust the prankster? For all I know you're setting me up...again." Lok chuckled nervously. "Please, if I would be trying to set someone up, it'd be him." He pointed a thumb towards Nine. "That is a fair point....I can't imagine how much trouble you put them through." Lok let out a sigh of relief, laughing a bit more. "Less than I'd like, if I'm to be honest. It's been... hectic, to say the least." He said offhandedly, relieved that Nine was going to be sticking around. He leaned back and the strange energy vanished - a good sign!. However, the man kept a glare towards Lok that was making him feel uneasy. "What do you mean?" Lok let out a shrug, his nerves kicking back in. "W-Well, between all this Godslayer nonsense and the legends themselves, it hasn't been smooth sailing at all." "She shouldn't have gotten involved with those Godslayers." the Dusknoir said. "You shouldn't have let her. You know how important he is to...us." Lok winced a bit, his words stinging a bit. He hadn't really done good job at all, although Gwen was safe and sound now. "I... I know. Honestly, our luck has been rotten. Every place we visit seemed to have been affected by whatever it is they're planning. It's a miracle we made it back relatively unharmed, honestly." Lok said, rubbing his arm and looking at the ground. "I tried to keep her out of trouble, but trouble always seemed to find us." He turned back up towards the man. The man frowned, not pleased with his answer "If you bring trouble here..." Before he could finish, however, the doors to the kitchen opened up. Sky Temple Team Showdown Scarlet let out a sigh of relief when she heard that Landerous was not stubborn like Groudon and Zygarde, although she was still expecting the worst. As the legends bickered, she felt something poke her. Turing around, she saw Isole, who mentioned she was tired. Scarlet let out a sigh - she was still tired, even after resting at Zygarde's place, but she knew that the clock was ticking. Taiga was more than likely tired as well, and would probably want to spend some time with Kyogre. She turned to Rayquaza and Celebi. "I'm sure that is of the essence, but we do need to rest up. Like we said, the Godslayer we fought when getting Zygarde gave us a beating." She said, crossing her arms. "We should rest up a bit before heading out in case there's another one. We won't be able to assemble everyone if we're dead." It was agreed upon then - they would rest before going onto the next mission. Scarlet wasted no time, making her way towards her room and taking a well deserved nap. Of course, she wasn't really able to get a good rest, as she tossed and turned on the bed. Letting out an annoyed sigh, Scarlet decided that she needed some fresh air. Getting up, she started making her way through the building. Somehow, miraculously, she found her way onto a balcony. And on that balcony was Celebi. Scarlet's eyes lit up as she made her way towards the legend. "Oh, Celebi! Do you have a moment?" Celebi turned around, a smile on her face. "A moment? I have many moments....There goes one. Oh there's another." Scalet let out a chuckle as she took a seat next to her. "Well, I was wondering... " She began, rubbing the back of her head. "Since you know him and everything... is Cobalion as stubborn as, well, Zygarde or Groudon?" She asked. "He's stubborn. But there are different kinds of stubborn. Groudon is stubborn about acting. Zygarde is stubborn about Rayquaza. Cobalion is stubborn about black and white justice." Scarlet nodded her head. "I see... Makes sense, all things considered." Not quiet the answer she was looking for, although she knew that before she asked the question. He was, after all, the Sword of Justice. It would be weird if he wasn't that way. Another thought crossed her mind. Without thinking, she continued. "So... what, exactly, are the trials for a disciple?" "The trials? Well. They're more guidelines. Some follow them more closely. But you prove yourself and a Legend takes you under their wing." "Prove myself, huh?" Scarlet paused, looking down at her pincers, before grinning. "Alright, then I'll just have to prove myself to Cobalion." She pumped her fist in excitement. "Once we find him, anyways." She was personally waiting for the mission to go retrieve Cobalion from Rayquaza... if anyone could stop these Godslayers, it was him. She turned back to Celebi. "Thank you... it's nice to talk to someone a bit less headstrong." She let outs a sigh "I can only hope Landorus won't cause a big fuss about coming with." "I'm sure he will." Celebi said in a chipper voice. "He's a strange old man for sure." "Great..." Scarlet said, shaking her head as she crossed her arms. She wasn't keen on having to deal with another one like them, but she knew going into this that it wasn't going to be easy.

    Risk of Rain 2

Risk of Rain 2 is sweet, I'm shocked by how well they managed to translate 2D to 3D in both game play and visuals. It really is just straight up Risk of Rain 3D and that's awesome. Haven't played too much of it myself so far as I just got it yesterday (sad that I missed the early sale though), got through to the end due to a god-run with triple feather, double just today. Really fucking good game.
