Ivan had to bring his arms up as the Vullaby Fury Attacked him. It was definitely painful, although not the worst thing he's been hit with. Growling, he swatted at the bird once again, knocking the bird back a bit. Stepping back a bit, he grabbed one of his Pokeballs at random and tossed it into the air. If he had planned things out, he would have sent out Don before jumping in, but that was neither here nor there. Whatever Pokemon he sent out would have to help him. The Vulpix he had just caught, the one he named Kyu while they camped for a bit, was now out and about, taking a moment to take in its new surroundings. "Crap... well, you know, into the frying pan or some shit like that." He said, turning to the angry bird. "Kyu, Ember that Vullaby!" He commanded, as Kyu looked up at its new opponent. With a simple flare, the Vulpix launched an Ember towards the Vullably, only angering it more as it fired off a Gust. Not at Kyu, but at Ivan, as the boy crossed its arm, sending him staggering back. Still, he stood his ground. "Don't stop, keep firing!" He shouted, as Vulpix jumped back slightly, firing another burst of flames at the bird, sending the Vullably staggering back. The bird glared at the fox, letting out some sort of battlecry.

-April 15th, 2000- -2 PM- -Front Hall, Diluculo Branch 22- Their mock fight seemed to have been put on hold for now. A bit of a shame, since she wanted to not only play around with her powers but see what else every could do, but it was fine. On the other hand, the newly freed up time allowed everyone to ask any questions they had about their whole situation. Lucia wondered about a lot, although a lot of her questions had to do with her Id specifically. However, there was something else she was wondering... "So... what exactly are we going to be dealing with?" She said, gripping the end of her baseball bat. "Our first bit of training was a mock fight... are we forming some sort of superhero team? Or is it more like... spies?" She shrugged, chuckling at how silly it sounded when she said it out loud. "I'm just wondering what exactly we're expected to do, is all."

Hothead

"Hey!" Wada said, as the two of them caught up to Lachlan. The group entered the church, greeted by a young man in white robes. Wada waved at the man, planting his mallet on the ground as he leaned on it. "Howdy Risf! My name is Wada!" He said, grinning as Lach started speaking. As he, and then after that Robin, asked the man their questions, Wada took a look around at the church they were in. He had never seen a building like this, the only buildings he had experience with being his old home and the organization's building. What caught his eye the most was the tainted glass surrounding them. The way the light beamed through them was marvelous. "O-oh, my turn!" Wada said, turning his attention back to the conversation at hand. "We're here to learn 'bout the strange monstas lurkin about!" He said, tossing the mallet on his shoulder. "Can ya help us, pal?" He asked, giving the mallet a little twirl.

Ivan kept his elbow over his mouth in a vein attempt to keep sand out of it. His teammates weren't fairing much better, Jacklyn basically inviting the sand to attack her. He was ready to get out of this hell as soon as possible, as he kept marching on. He had even elected to wear the leather jacket once more - while it made the sun yet again burning him alive, he preferred the heat to the scorching sand singing his bare arms. As they kept marching on, however, they heard the cries of a Pokemon. The Pokemon sounded like it was in distress, which was enough to convince Ivan to investigate it. At the very least, it would be more interesting than the barren nothing they were experiencing. When they got closer, he saw a blue bear... fish?... Pokemon he had never seen before cowering under cover as a group of Vullaby were attacking it. Ivan grit his teeth behind his elbow, the sand grating between his teeth. As everyone else sent out their Pokemon, Ivan had a different response. The boy dived right into the fray, jumping into the flock of Vullaby between them and the platybear. "Hey! Scra-ack!" He shouted, a particularly nasty blast of sand flying right into the roof of his mouth, as he swung his arms to try and swat the birds away.

Lok Team ThunderWaves Lok grinned as he landed his burn on the Godslayer, although his moment of victory didn't last very long, as it didn't take long for Veronica to pick herself up, dashing directly at Taiga once again. Lok stumbled back, the flame in his hand shifting to crackling lightning. However, as he fired off a Thunderbolt, he missed once again; the Godslayer was simply too fast for him to hit. He frowned; even after following Taiga's advice, he wasn't able to quite land anything. She was simply too fast. In fact, everyone was starting to get too fast for him to keep up with - even Keanu, with a surge of lightning, managed to catch up with the speedy Crobat. Lok needed to come up with something to keep up. Looking down at the poles, noticing the damage that had been done to them, he got an idea. With a bolt of lightning, Lok struck at one of the pillars, making sure to grab some of the debris that his attack had caused. He put away the three splinters he had made, turning back to the Godslayer. To his dismay, he saw that the Crobat was now surrounded in a cyclone of wind from her spinning, Keanu stuck in it. However, he also noticed the remnants of lighting everywhere from what Keanu had managed to do earlier. He also noticed that this was probably the closest he was ever going to get to having her stuck in one place. While the premise of hitting Keanu with his attack was concerning, Lok needed to do something now. As he extended his arm towards Veronica he felt the lightning around him start to jump at him, surging through his arm as he channeled his own lightning. Gritting his teeth, he unleashed a powered-up Thunderbolt, the lightning much faster and stronger than anything he was able to do previously. With any luck, this would hit the Godslayer or, at the very least, get her to stop doing what she was doing. Scarlet Team SuperPower Scarlet let out a gasp of air as Mia slammed her into the ground, losing her grip on the slayer. Slowly, she picked herself up as Brooke struck with her own attack. As she stood up, however, the horrifying sound of bells tolled as she felt her armor vibrate from the attack. It wasn't just her armor - the whole arena seemed to shake rhythmically with the bells, as Mia returned to rolling around once more. She turned to Brooke, nodding as she checked on everyone. "I'm-m G-G-Go-oo-d." She said, having a hard time speaking due to the bells. Brooke was quick to jump into the action, managing to grab a hold of the spinning Godslayer and even slamming her into the ground. Nani did the same, in a shockingly similar way - even down to the red glow both of them had. Scarlet cocked her head, her armor starting to glow a hot red, before darting in once more, a trail of steam following her. With her wings fluttering, Scarlet flew right at MIa, slamming her fists into the Godslayer's body. With the sheer force of the strike, Scarlet dragged both her and the slayer across the ground, sending rubble flying everywhere as Scarlet kept striking with a flurry of blows. Eventually she stopped when they hit the edge of the arena; Scarlet's shoulders slumping slightly as more steam emitted from her body as she stepped back from her opponent. "G-go-ood jo-ob..." She said, clutching her head from the ringing sound of the bells.

Lok Team ThunderWaves As his attack struck, Veronica managed to break free from Taiga's grasp. Luckily, or unluckily, Lok wasn't very strong, as he didn't seem to have hurt either of the two that badly with his attack. Grimacing, he knew he had to try something else. However, as he tried to fire off a Will-o-Wisp towards the Godslayer, he was not able to land anything as she seemed to not only dodge it, but managed to dodge the slow moving flames without even really trying. "She's fast..." Lok said, clenching his fists. Luckily, it seemed like he was being ignored as her hands were full with Keanu. Taking the moment out of the limelight, Lok took a deep breath, using Double Team to create two other copies of himself, all three of them floating towards the slayer. Her attack instantly demolished one of the clones with a burst of smoke, but he didn't stop his pursuit. Meanwhile, Taiga was nothing more than a blur in the corner of his eyes. She was probably going in for an attack, and Lok figured this would be his time to sneak in a move of his own. As he expected, he saw Taiga bring down the airborne foe with a powerful strike, pinning down the girl with the column of water. This was his chance, he thought, as him and his clone ran up to Veronica and fired off a Will-o-Wisp at the trapped opponent, hopefully with her being stuck like this he could land the attack. Scarlet Team SuperPower Scarlet grimaced as the Godslayer rang her bell, the paralysis that had been inflicted on her earlier gone. At least she wasn't spinning anymore, at least for now, as she watched Nani go for another Thunder Wave. And, almost as soon as she was paralyzed, the bells tolled once more. And then it happened again. And again. This was going nowhere, but Mia wasn't paying direct attention to her. Taking her chance, Scarlet dashed in to strike. As the bells tolled one more time, Mia turned to see Scarlet aiming a Bullet Punch right at her. Not having much time to react, the Godslayer brought up her arms to block the attack, causing her to stumble back a bit. However, despite being blindsided, she was quick to react, her hand burning up as she delivered a Fire Punch aimed right at Scarlet. The Scizor brought up her arm, wincing as she felt the flickering of the flames. As she pushed back the fiery fist, the Miltank slammed down her head right on top of Scarlet's head with a Zen Headbutt, causing Scarlet to flinch for a moment, sending her stumbling back. As Mia was about to dunk on Scarlet with a Fire Punch, though, she would suddenly feel a surge electricity from Nani's Thunder Wave, momentarily stopping her from attacking. Recovering from her flinch, Scarlet growled towards MIa. "I'm not done yet...!" She said, her pincers opening up as she delivered a Bug Bite right into Mia's shoulder. The Godslayer let out a shout, swinging a Fire Punch with her free arm towards Scarlet. Once again, she brought up her arm to soften the blow, gritting her teeth as she clamped down harder with her other hand.

Lucia stared at her file for a moment, standing up from her seat. They had been told to find their rooms, and that they were going to have a mock battle later in the day. Name: Lucia Emilia Soto Garcia Codename: Cucuy Lucia let out a sigh as she read her codename, shaking her head. It seemed like some sort of sick joke, the name ringing in her ears from the fateful day that brought her here. She shook her head, pulling out more of the document; she'd rather not get stuck in the past like that. She was here now, it was better to make the best of it. Ability seems to warrant further testing. We will find ways to procure more animals. In the meantime, please focus on building your body, particularly leg strength. Speed will be key. Leg strength? Well, it was an odd request, although maybe it had something to do with her Id. After checking to see if there was anything else in her file, she put the pages away, holding it under her arm. The idea of using her ability on more animals was both horrifying and exciting, as she wondered what she was capable of doing with other animals. As for the body building, she didn't need to be told twice. She just hoped they had some sort of baseball field somewhere in the facility. She found her room, Room 202. Her roommate was Raida, the fork knife guy. This was great! She had meant to ask him questions about his Id, due to how similar their abilities were. "This'll be interesting." She said, opening the door to her new room. The first thing she noticed was that the baseball bat that she had brought here was there. Smiling, she grabbed it, taking a seat on the bed. "Y ahora, esperamos..." She said, taking the moment to rest. While not exhausting, she did feel tired after using her Id like that. She let out a yawn, waiting for her roommate to enter.

"We're not going back to Skrelp Harbor!" He said, crossing his arms. Jacklyn also didn't want to go back, pointing in a seemingly random direction. Ivan let out a sigh. "You sure you know where ya goin?" He shook his head, following the excited girl deeper into the desert. The group ran into a rather nervous looking nurse-in-training. While she didn't seem very confident in herself, she did offer them a moment of rest at the camp. He was ready to turn down the girl, a low growl at the audacity the women had to suggest such a thing. However, he couldn't deny that he was pretty beat - the heat was getting to him, especially after that battle and all the shouting he had done not too long. "Tch. Fine. Only cuz my 'mons need a rest." He said, a bead of sweat dripping from his forehead, as he passed his Pokemon over to the nurse. Ivan took a seat at the camp, exhaling as he leaned back a bit. "It ain't gonna be fun, but we gotta march on." He said, turning to Belle. "Relax, we'll be in and out of the desert in no time." He said, holding onto his leather jacket. He frowned, as he saw that it was starting to get all sandy. Ivan hated the sand - it was course, ruff, and irritating. Worst of all, it gets everywhere. He let out a sigh, turning back up towards the sky. Hopefully the thing he said about getting out of here was true.

Scarlet Team SuperPower Scarlet watched as Mia tanked both of the Flame Charges with ease, before jetting off of them towards her. Scarlet brought her arms up, bracing herself as the Miltank used Rollout on her, before bouncing off of her and going towards the edge of the arena. Scarlet stumbled back, standing her ground as she watched the Miltank rolling up the edge, getting ready to barrel down back towards her. The weird arena now made sense to her as she watched the wrecking ball that was the Godslayer rolling faster and faster. "Well, for one, we should stop her from rolling around." She said, her wings fluttering as Mia started rolling towards her. Scarlet barely side-stepped the attack, watching Mia fly up from the edge of the arena, before coming back down and towards her yet again. Letting out a heavy breath, she raised both of her and slammed as hard as she could with Bullet Punch. The strike sent both of them flying back, although Mia was less flying and more rolling about still. Scarlet barely managed to land on her two feet as she slid back, watching as the Miltank rolled back towards the edges of the arena. She let out a growl, wiping her brow. "We have to get her to stop doing that...!" She barked in frustration, watching the Godslayer rolling literal circles around them. She took a moment to do a small Swords Dance, preparing to strike the Miltank once again in a vein hope to get her to stop. Lok Team ThunderWave Lok watched as Taiga managed to grab a hold of Veronica... or was Veronica grabbing her? It was hard to tell, but she seemed to want them to attack her. "B-But we'll..." Lok started, before shaking his head. She knew that, obviously. Otherwise she wouldn't go for such a move. With a sigh, he raised his arm. "Sorry about this." He said as lightning started to crackle at his palm. With a swift strike, Lok fired off a Thunderbolt towards the two girls, clenching his teeth as ghastly fires started forming in his other hand, getting ready to fire off a Will-o-Wisp next.

"That was just too perfect... whew. Anyway, that seems like a good showing for a start. Can you disable it now, or does it have to fade?" Lucia nodded, closing her eyes as her muscles tensed up. Slowly, the extra limbs she shrunk into her back from once they came, as the rest of her body morphed back to normal. "Yes... I can disable it... it's a bit tiring though..." She said, as her body returned back to normal. She was still not quite used to recalling the transformation manually like that, the act tiring her out a bit as she breathed heavily. She still also felt like she had her spider legs, although that feeling wouldn't last very long. As Lucia listened to what Maddy had to say, she nodded. It was all still a lot to take in, the whole organization. Hell, her own abilities were still something she wasn't used to. "Honestly, I'm still trying to get used to all of this..." She said, gesturing towards herself, before gesturing around her. "...and this whole organization thing... I'm not even sure where to start." She said, frowning. "I just... need a moment to take all of this in." She said, before turning to Akiko, who had given her own concerns about the whole situation. Maddy responded, before asking her to send messages once everyone was here. "Uh, guess I'll make this true, I think that's how this works, this is the message for Captain Mathilde." The walkie talkie let out some other gibberish sound that Lucia couldn't understand. At first she was confused, tilting her head slightly. "I think I got the wrong message... She said it was for Maddy..." Lucia said, turning towards Maddy. "Unless... was my message the lie? Fascinating..." She said, as Akiko entered the room. Akiko asked about what the other messages sounded like to them. "I'm guessing the random gibberish coming from the thingy was the other messages, so... gibberish... Kinda like this." She said, before poorly imitating the gibberish sounds. She turned to Maddy. "What did you here?"

Lok Team ThunderWaves They were split up into groups when they entered, Lok being paired up with an odd looking Raichu and a Sharpedo. As they continued along, they found themselves in a small room with a bunch of poles everywhere. In it was a young girl and a women. From their conversation, Lok was able to gather that the women was, in fact, one of the Godslayers they were meant to fight. He froze for a second, turning to his new teammates. They seemed strong, about as strong as Nine anyways. They must be, right? They wouldn't have made it this far. The Sharpedo wasted no time, diving into combat, with the Raichu following shortly after. Taking a deep breath, Lok levitated off of the ground, floating just above the poles, before following behind the two. Lok was caught by surprise with just how fast everyone was. Especially the Crobat. Hitting her was going to be difficult, he thought, as lighting started to crackle from his fists. "I'll offer you the same thing I did for Taiga. If you want to leave, I won't stop you. As you've seen just now, I'm much stronger than I look. And I'm gracious enough to let you go if you don't want to fight." He didn't hesitate, raising his arm towards her. "I appreciate the gesture, but..." He fired off a Thunderbolt towards her, fully expecting to whiff the first one. "I've been through too much to give up now!" He said, keeping his eyes locked onto the Crobat. Scarlet Team SuperPower Scarlet picked herself up, still beat up from fighting the Genesect before. But she wasn't going to let that stop her, as she turned to Taiga, smiling. "Give them hell." She said, before turning towards the door in front of them. Taking a deep breath and brushing off some dust on her shoulder, she stepped forwards. The first thing she noticed is that she couldn't find Taiga. In fact, almost everyone that had been around her was gone. The only gijinka she could fine was an Emboar and what she thought was a Pikachu. The second thing she noticed was that they were now in a strange, oddly round arena. In front of them was a Miltank - one of them. The way the Miltank talked angered her, talking about bringing a wonderful world. The Emboar turned towards the two. “You two were on the boat, right? That means we’re on the same side. My name’s Brooke, but we don’t really have time for pleasantries. Be ready to back me up.” "Scarlet." She said, her attention still on the Miltank, as she got into a sprinters pose. "On your mark." She said, her wings starting to flutter. As soon as Brooke said Go, Scarlet jumped into the air, a crimson Tailwind following behind her. The other two were charging right towards the Miltank front so, after landing, Scarlet quickly jumped once more, soaring over the trio of Gijinka and landing behind the Miltank. Her arms were in front of her, ready for any trickery Mia might try to, at the very least, brace herself.

As the group continued onward through the desert, they were stopped by a blockade of Team Phoenix goons. Ivan's fist clenched as he stopped, ready to talk them down before stopping himself. Rage was building up inside him, the same rage he felt when he heard of these clowns in the first place. Assuming this team followed a similar structure to Team Skull, he was pretty sure this guy was no ordinary grunt. He wanted to take on this guy so badly and put him in his place, but there was one glaring problem. He glanced towards the gigantic chunk of ice that was a Pokemon next to the man - even if his Pokemon could take it on, half of his Pokemon were worn out from battling. He crossing his arms, glaring back towards the man. "Tch. What a drag..." He said, barely hiding his vitriol anger. Luckily, Jacklyn didn't try to charge in there himself, and he was pretty sure Belle wasn't going to try something funny. "C'mon, let's turn back." Bitterly, he turned his back to the man and started walking the other way. He wanted to punch something badly, but unfortunately there wasn't anything around him but the sand blowing through the wind and his teammates. They probably wouldn't appreciate it, so instead he kicked some sand off the ground after a bit of walking. "Damn bastard, who the hell does he think he is!?" He shouted, stomping on the ground a bit. "I should turn around and kick his ass! I can take him! Ugh, or at least I would without this heat!" He paused for a second, taking a deep breath. He turned towards Jacklyn, who had asked him a question. "Huh? Oh, yeah, thanks..." He said, crossing his arms again, letting out a heavy sigh. "Well we can't just stand around. Let's get movin' I guess."

As Maddy spoke, Lucia felt her transformation had finished. Raising her arm, the spider legs on her back rose as well, forming an x-shape as she turned back to the captain. "Uncomfortable? No... at least, not physically." She said, turning her head towards the spider legs behind her. "These... things feel surprisingly... natural. Like I've always had them." As she felt her fingertips, she felt little holes on all of them. Curious, she planted her hand on a nearby wall. As her muscles seemed to tense up, she moved her hand across the wall, leaving behind a trail of spider silk. "Woah..." She said, quickly pulling her hand off of the wall and stepping back. While the legs felt natural, she definitely wasn't used to them, as they swung about and knocked things over. "Oh dios mio! I'm so sorry!" She stopped, arms extended as she rested the spider legs. She let out a sigh, turning back to Maddy. "I... don't know, really. I've never done this with a spider before..." She said, shrugging. "All I know is that, well, I can do whatever a spider can."

Scarlet Team Showdown Scarlet snarled, picking herself up as two more Genesect descended on her. Smashing her fist together, she glared the two machines in the eyes. "Bring it on!" She commanded, dashing towards the two, the crimson Tailwind still tailing behind her. As one of the Genesects took time to change the type of its cannon, the other one fired Magnet Bombs at the Scizor to try and slow her down. However, she did not stop, as she dashed towards the charging Genesect and, with a small leap, delivered an overhead slam with both of her fists. As she did, she was struck by a Techno Blast from the side, the pressure from the watery attack caused her to stumble a bit. However, she stood her ground, turning towards the Genesect that had just attacked her. Her armor seemed to glow as bright red as the trail of wind behind her as she dashed up to the Genesect's face. With a single, Superpowered punch, she sent the Genesect flying backwards, before exploding right next to a distant Genesect. As she delivered her punch, her body started to steam, her body growing tired. However, this was no time to rest, as she turned towards the other Genesect, who fired a flaming Techno Blast right at her chest. She was sent flying back, gritting her teeth in pain, as her wings fluttered as hard as they could. Barely, she managed to land on her feet, sliding across the ground a bit. She breathed heavily, before darting right back in. While she managed to dodge most of the Magnet Bombs being sent to her, some of them landed, but that wasn't going to stop her. She promised Taiga she wasn't going to die here, and she'll be damned if she didn't keep her promise. Triumphantly, she grabbed the Genesect by the arms with two Bug Bites and aggressively dragged it across the ground towards the platform. When it was started to heat up, she let go, not looking back at the spectacular explosion it made. It took her a while to get to the platform, but eventually she made it there. Her body at this point was beaten up and radiating smoke from fighting the Genesect on her way here as she collapsed on the metal platform. In her hands was the arm of one of the Genesects, violently ripped from the body. She glanced upwards, taking a second to find Taiga. Eventually she did find the Sharpedo, weakly smiling as she raised her free hand towards her friend. "Told... told ya... I'd make it..." Lok Team Karaoke With the ominous wind still circling around him, Lok kept running. He wasn't very eager to fight another one of those robot things, although he knew he couldn't avoid them forever. Just as he expected, one of the Genesects landed right in front of him, causing him to stop. "Great... ok, you did this once... you can do it again." He muttered under his breath, firing off a Will-o-Wisp towards the Genesect. The robot sidestepped the attack, its gun shifting like the previous one had. Lighting crackled at his fingertips as he fired off a Thunderbolt towards the Genesect, hitting it on its shoulder as it fired off a ghastly Techno Blast which sent Lok flying backwards. Floating above the ground, he managed to catch himself, watching as the robot fired off a Magnet Bomb towards him. Panicking, he let out an Ominous Wind, which seemed to at least knock some of the metallic shells aside. This time the winds didn't seem to do anything other than that, but Lok didn't notice. He was occupied with something else. The Genesect was getting ready to fire off another Techno Blast, when suddenly it was knocked to the side by a stray explosion. Lok wasn't sure where this came from, but it didn't matter. He fired off a Will-o-Wisp towards the Genesect, this time hitting its mark. The Genesect, once it stabilized again, fired off a Magnet Bomb towards Lok, as Lok fired off a Hex towards it. Some of the projectiles clashed with each other and fizzled, while others managed to hit their opponents. Lok stumbled back, before letting out a Thunderbolt at the Genesect, who was now dashing towards him. The robot was extremely beat up, Lok was able to see that as it barreled towards him. Realizing what the Genesect was trying to do, he pushed it away with one last Ominous Wind as it Self-Destructed. While not completely dodging the attack, he was on the outskirts of the explosion. Wiping his brow, he continued onward. At this point, he had made it half way towards the platform. However, he saw the waves of Genesects that were close to his destination, and he frowned. There was no way he was going to make it without fighting at least two more of these things, and he wasn't even sure if he could take on another one. "Great... now what..." He said, placing his hand on his face as he thought about what to do. On the ground he saw shrapnel from the exploding Genesects that surrounded him and an idea came to his head. "Well, you did this once before... kinda... and not really in a battlefield like this, but I mean hey it's basically the same thing, right? Haha..." He tried to convince himself, picking up a piece of metal on the ground. He wasn't confident in his chances at all, but he had to try. Even if it was risky, this had a better chance of working than fighting on the horde of robots. With a sigh, he held the piece of metal with both of his hands, electricity and howling winds circling his arms. It wasn't long before the piece of metal was now being held by the lightning itself, as he aimed his body towards the platform. "I hope this works...!" He said, counting down to 5 in his head as the lightning circled faster and faster. As he clenched his fist, the metal suddenly shot forward as lighting shot out of his arms. Before it went too far, however, Lok used his ability to posses objects to enter the now flying piece of metal as it soared through the air. Lok screamed as his vessel violently flew above the battlefield. Those on the platform would see a flying piece of metal barely land on the edge of it as a Rotom shot out of it, tumbling on the cold metal ground. As he crashed, the ominous winds around him erupted from his body as he let out a grumble. His body was aching, both from fighting the Genesect and from the crash landing he just did. He took a moment to lay on the ground, not because he wanted to rest but because he couldn't bring his legs to pick himself up. "At least I made it..." He muttered, groaning as he clutched his right arm.

It was time for their first mission. Wada was a bit nervous, but moreso than that he was excited. It was time to prove himself out in the field! The group entered the town, who seemed to be on edge. Probably because of the monsters they were suppose to hunt here. "Alright gang, we should grou-" He said, turning around towards his teammates. "Oh." Everyone had already broken off into groups while he was taking in the scenery. "Alright, guess I'm doing things solo!" He said, before noticing someone floating towards him. It was Prince, who seemed to have an interest with grouping up with Wada. "Glad t'have ya on my side!" He lifted his mallet a bit, giving the prince a smile. "Well, let's not dilly-dally! Onward!" He pointed his mallet towards the church, swinging it about effortlessly. He was pretty sure he had heard something about Lach going there, and he didn't remember if anyone else said they were going there. Plus, it was the building that captured his attention the most at the given time. He marched towards the church, resting his mallet on his shoulder.

"Huh?" Lucia said, grabbing the weird vial given to her by the scientist. Supposedly, this was suppose to calm down her body from the side effects of her Id. Her hand was still tingling from copying the hand, even though it ultimately led to nothing. It didn't look appealing to drink, although it wasn't completely disgusting. With a nod, she quickly drank the mysterious liquid. The taste of strawberry and iron filled her mouth as she felt her hand jerk slightly, a burning sensation flaring up for a second. The tingling on her palm had gone away, as if the liquid had burned away. "Well then..." She said in disbelief, staring at her hand. She then turned towards the box, a nervous feeling crawling on her back. Slowly, she made her way towards the box and, lifting up the lid, she let out a gasp. In the box was a tarantula, staring right back at her. She froze for a second, before remembering what Alek had said to her. "You'll be fine... you'll be fine..." She muttered to herself, taking a deep breath. She wasn't afraid of the spider; she had seen her fair share of large critters, this wasn't anything to worry about. She was more worried about what she'd become when she touched the hairy spider. Still, she couldn't let fear stop her now - she had to know how her Id worked. Nodding slightly, she slowly reached over and touched the spider, waiting for the results. Almost instantly, she felt a creeping sensation as she clutched her head. "Aaahh!" Four hairy, black and orange limbs resembling spider legs jutted out of her back as small, beady black eyes grew out of her face underneath her eyes. She took a deep breath as her transformation seemed to end, her long spider legs from her back trailing behind her like coattails. Without turning her head, she took a look around the room as she opened her mouth, her teeth replaces with a pair of sleek black fangs. She took a quick look at her now hairy palms, taking a deep breath. "So... now what?" She said, clenching her fist.

Scarlet Team Showdown As the ship approached the shore, Scarlet was taken back by the horde of mechanical clones that they had to take on. The sheer number of them was intimidating, but this was no time to hesitate. It was do or die time. Stepping off of the boat next to Taiga, Scarlet turned to her friend, nodding. "You better not die on me either." She said, stepping back a bit and doing a Swords Dance for the road. As Taiga let out her roar, Scarlet leapt off of the ground, soaring through the sky. Aiming a punch at one of the Genesect, Scarlet crash landed on top of one of them, landing in a heroic pose with her fist going through the chest of one of the mechanical monsters. With a jerk, she pulled her fist out of the gijinka, which seemed to still be moving. The Genesect let out a horrifying screech that sent chills down Scarlet's spine, as the girl brought down her other arm to smash its face in. Looking up, she saw two other of the mechanical mockeries glaring at her with their cold, dead eyes. One of them started firing off Magnet Bombs towards her while the other one seemed to be partially glowing red as it just stared at her. Scarlet wasted no time, her wings fluttering rapidly as she darted to the side and leaving a crimson Tailwind behind her. Weaving left and right, while taking some of the magnet bombs, she quickly reached the first of her assailants, firing off a right hook right at its head. As it staggered back, Scarlet felt a burning sensation as the other one fired a red hot Techno Blast at her. Gritting her teeth, she chose to keep focusing down the one she was fighting while keeping a tab on the other one, who seemed ready to fire off another blast. As the other one was starting to stabilize, Scarlet was quick to dart back in, still fast with her Tailwind, uppercutting the Genesect before ducking below the Techno Blast. While in the air, the first Genesect fired off another barrage of Magnet Bombs down at Scarlet. While they hurt, especially with her defenses lowered from earlier, she was not deterred as she jumped up into the air, grabbing the Genesect's leg with a Bug Bite. As it began to glow a white red, Scarlet threw it down towards the other Genesect, the Techno Blast and Self Destruct creating quite a spectacular explosion. And, as the explosion started dying out, Scarlet dashed through it, catching the Genesect off guard, as she aimed a Bullet Punch right into the Genesect's chest, which caved inward due to the impact. She grinned, although her smile faded when she saw the machine glow white, its body becoming alarmingly hot. Scarlet kicked off of the Genesect, trying to dart as far away as possible, managing to get at least on the outer edge of the Self-Destruct as the explosion sent her tumbling towards the ground. As she picked herself up, she noticed more of these dangerous machines approach her. Lok Team Karaoke Lok was told to stay on the ship with the rest of the kids. While he was definitely on the older side of things, he was specifically told to keep an eye on them and to make sure they didn't get into any trouble. Lok was fine with this; while it wasn't the exciting and dangerous battle he was expecting to experience, baby sitting was a nice change of pace for once. This was especially true when he saw what they were going to fight against - a horde of purple robots, all looking rather menacing. All he had to do was make sure the kids were safe and not running into danger. "Well, at least we're- wait what are you doing?" He was powerless to stop the kids as, one by one, the tykes decided that they were going to take on the horde of Genesect. "No no no no no!" Lok exclaimed, letting out a reluctant sigh as he closed his eyes. Looks like he was going to have to join the fray after all, if only to make sure none of these kids get hurt. Using Double Team to create 2 other copies of him, he jumped off of the ship and into the battlefield. He kept close tabs on the kids as he ran, although he was promptly stopped by one of the Genesects locking eyes with him. "Great." He said with a flat tone, the trio of Loks getting ready to take on one of them. The Genesect took a second to charge its laser, before firing off a sleek dark black Techno Blast towards one of the clones. As the close instantly poofed out of existence, Lok fired off a Thunderbolt towards the Genesect, hitting it right in the chest. Genesect started running towards him, firing Magnet Bombs towards both him and his clone. Lok was struck by the Magnet Bomb, his close fading instantly, causing him to stagger back. As Genesect drew closer, Lok let out a harrowing screech, an Ominous Wind bellowing from his body. As it pushed the Genesect away, Lok fired off a Will-o-Wisp towards Genesect. While it landed, it didn't stop Genesect from firing off another Techno Blast, this time hitting Lok directly. Lok was sent flying back, Genesect wasting no time and jumping on top of Lok. Its canon started charging up again, ready to finish off its prey. Lok, however, was not done. With another screech, the winds blew once more, pushing Genesect off of him. This time, however, the winds seemed to persist as Lok stood up, circling around him. His eyes glowed a bright purple as Lok himself seemed to be caught off guard as to what just happened. "Woah..." He felt... stronger, and his feelings were confirmed as he fired off another Thunderbolt, this one much more fierce than the last. As the Genesect reeled back from the attack, it darted towards Lok once more, this time glowing a hot white. However, with one last Ominous Wind, he was able to push the Genesect away from him as it Self-Destructed. Lok looked down at his palms, before closing them into fists. He wasn't sure how or why this was happening, but he'd take it.

"You can sure as hell try, kid." He said, grinning as he turned back towards his teammates. He felt a drip of sweat fall from his brow, as the adrenaline from the battle left him to face the heat once more. He let out a sigh, resigning himself as he took off his jacket. His shirt was drenched in sweat, as expected from traveling so long with a leather jacket. He slung his jacket over his shoulder. It was a weird feeling, turning to someone cheering him on. Despite a few hiccups here and there, his adventure had so far been super successful, especially compared to how he did back at home. He smirked, turning towards the next town. He knew he had it in him, despite what they said. There was no time to gloat in his success, though - they had an adventure to go on. Plus, the sooner they got out of this hellish heat, the better. "We should rest up - dunno about the rest of you, but I'm itchin' to get outta here asap." He said, pulling on his collar. "Suddenly that kelp juice or whatever it was sound's pretty good..." He groaned as he started marching onward.

Lucia frowned as she was told that their introduction was some sort of test, and they had failed. Their Ids were suppose to be secretive, so it wasn't all too surprising that they'd be hit with something like this, but the idea of failing the first test given to her didn't sit too well with her. "Oh well..." She said with a sigh, standing back up again with her baseball bat. She might have failed this little test, but so did everyone else, plus now she knew what everyone else's Ids were. Either way, they now had to go through some sort of investigation of their Ids, either through a tried and true examination or the old fashioned way. While the physical exams sounded more fun, she was curious to know exactly how she was able to do what she did. She'd be missing out on some fun, but she was used to that. She had to know as much as she could about her Id. Plus, she doubted that she could actually show off her Id unless they specifically prepared for her. She glanced at the others, who seemed eager to show off what they can do. She simply scoffed, grinning as she started making her way out the door. "Well I hope you all have fun with those exams. I am going to go to the inf... infirmary." She stumbled a bit at the last word, waving at everyone as she made her way towards the infirmary. When she got there, as expected, there weren't many people here. Only the other morphing guy and the truth/lie girl were here. She was pretty sure no one else was coming - as much as she hated to admit it, she had gotten even with the map they provided - the place was so big! She doubted anyone else was going to show up. She waved at the two. "Hola!" She said, placing her baseball bat on her shoulder. "I guess it's just us three that are here, huh? Well, hopefully we learn more about each other... which, despite what she says, I think is a good thing."

S.S. Showdown Team Showdown Scarlet chuckled at the captain. "Glad you're just as charming as I remember." She said sarcastically, shaking hands with the captain, before turning over Isole. "She was good company... even if she could be a bit cold at times." She chuckled, turning back to the captain. "So... I heard you stole the ship from the ol' green man? That's bold!" She said with a laugh. "We basically worked for him the past few days gathering Legendaries. It's been a very hectic adventure..." She said with a sigh. "Well, for your sake I hope Rayquaza's able to look past that after this." She said with a chuckle, flashing a smile at the captain. S.S. Showdown Team Karaoke Fiona seemed to be ready to snap at him, Lok flinching as he got ready to be shouted at yet again, but her tone changed. "Yeah, I guess I am alive... barely, but definitely alive... I see you- OW!" He said with a nervous chuckle, before being interrupted by the girl pinching his cheeks. Lok rubbed his cheek, although he smiled as the girl talked about changing her mind. "That's... that's ok. As long as you came to your senses somehow, and you're ok." He said, relaxing his shoulders. He frowned a bit. "I... I shouldn't have flipped out that hard on you. I saw you with one of the Godslayers, and I..." "...I should have been more understanding. Or more convincing, I guess maybe. I don't know, I was upset... I shouldn't have left you alone that day..." His face blushed a bit. "I'm just... glad you're ok, ok?" He placed his hand behind his head. "And hey, maybe when this is all over we can... hang out, or..." His face was bright red now, as he turned away in embarrassment. "A-ah, never mind! Forget I said anything!"
