  1. Another few turns...but now Jet stood there dumbfounded. While Alex had quite the field, Shannon had just decimated the competition with her Pendulum method of summoning. This actually surprised him, with Alex being able to utilize all the summoning methods like this, he figured she might've won. But then again, Jet had to remember, Shannon was apart of Project Crimson...therefore she could and would win. So now Jet had officially seen three out of the team Duel...and while Zirco and Leiko...but unfortunately, she was out of commission as well. Her and Hotaru both... So out of the group, he's officially seen two of them Duel: Zirco and Shannon. Both had a different style of Dueling, but at the same time, they both were strong...very strong. His hand slowly moved to his right arm, as he began to hold onto it. The dulled feeling had slightly flared up the moment Shannon summoned Luster Pendulum, but it wasn't too bad. But this definitely had him thinking... Could HE be that strong...? Once the Duel officially ended, Jet slowly began to approach Shannon. "T-That...w-was amazing..." he slowly nodded. "...i-it's no Z-Zirco, b-but that's a-a-amazing display..." He glanced over at Alex, before back at Shannon. "S-So...w-what d-do we do now...?"
  2. "My body f-feels like it's on f-fire, my arm is gone again... a-and everyone's gone. I-I'm dandy Chris," "Well, at leas your sense of humor isn't too damaged." Chris smirked some, trying to at least make light of the situation. Yes, he knew that Connor ended up channeling some sort of Spirit of Fire and the like, so naturally there would've been some sort of physical resistance. Almost like body fighting off a virus...a very fiery virus, he would add. Regardless, Chris and Quill followed after Connor, making sure to keep him from falling. Cause, hey...that's what friends and teammates do, right? "So... big, simple exposition dump. So, the Digital World is an alternate dimension, right? In it, all lifeforms are digital, and some of the most common ones are Digimon. Usually, when the Digital World is in danger, it'll grab random kids and force them to become heroes for the Digital World. This time however... this time it's different. It seems the two separate dimensions have fused into one, and no one knows how. So that, that's a Digivice. Think of it as a link to your Digimon. It makes them your partner, and you can do some... interesting things with it, like force enough power into them that they temporally age up into a more powerful form. Don't ask me how you're supposed to do that, it's different from person to person. I think that's all you need for now. Right now, we need to see what outside looks like." Mr. Henderson is pretty knowledgeable in this...wonder how he knows all this... Chris thought, listening intently into this little "dump of exposition" as his teacher explained it. Regardless, Chris was content in trusting Henderson as well as Omni-Alter...or Oalter, he planned to start referring to him as. However, something did strike him as odd: It's different from person to person. This had Chris puzzled at something, did that mean there was multiple methods to essentially "level up" their partners, though at the same time he thought that, he cursed himself to almost referring to this as something Touch would've. Regardless, he'd ask his question a bit later...as everyone was already heading out. "Hey, Omnimon... what's that tower?" "We don't know. We just know it's somewhere in Colorado... and yes, it's so big we can see it from any where in the... 'United States'," "Alright kids... find your houses, and get essentials. We'll meet at the train station in half an hour," As much as the tower in Colorado was impressive, Chris was more or less intrigued at the fact that the town and the houses within the town ended up getting rearranged and in somewhat of an orderly fashion. It was almost baffling, but he figured that's what happened when the "The Great Merger" happened. "So we're going to just go to your den, Chris?" Quill asked, tugging on the pants leg of Chris' jeans. "Yeah...hopefully everything's still in order there." Chris nodded, before glancing over at Henderson. "But first..." he said, making his way towards the teacher. "Mr. Henderson, you said that the whole Digimon partner power thing is different from person to person. Does this mean there are multiple methods to do that?"
  3. Currently still working out a few votes for the other categories, but here's what I have so far...complete...with acronym explanations!!! xD Best RPer: ??? Best Host: Saikazo Best Character Design: Dmitri Alexandre Blaiddyd (Sethera) Best World Design: Yui Best Writer: Dmitri Alexandre Blaiddyd (Sethera) Most Reliable: Blake Most Cooperative: Skaia Most Helpful: Radio414 Best in Chat: Cheshire Toon (Hakima) Best RP: ??? Edit: So at this point, with the remaining categories, and the fact that it's almost time for this to close, I forewent the acronym explanations. Truthfully, "Best RPer" and "Best RP" are still one of those categories I really can't answer. Plenty of good RPers and as for the RPs, well, a handful aren't like the last year's competitors, or are still in the phase of finding it's niche.
  4. "Sheesh, didn't need to take it so seriously. Look, it's whatever. You do you and all that crap. I'm just tryin...look I'm just trying okay? Gotta try and make the best of this crap. Just go back to yer notebook." Chase began to exhale greatly, running a hand through his hair. He took a few moments, trying to process everything at this point as well as calm down, not wanting to do that again. He let out another sigh before, looking over at Sid. "...maybe it was my fault there. I'm sorry, I honestly don't tend to just do things like that...least of all to someone I barely know and have no huge issues with." He had a point though, Sid had barely done anything to really upset him so there wasn't a concrete reason, aside from him just not 100% liking the way that he was apparently called stuck up and not even doing anything wrong there. So having one of those tension breakers and getting upset at his new roommate wasn't something that really should've been prioritized in his mind. "Look...maybe we both got on the wrong foot with this whole thing." Chase continued, sighing again. "And we're sort of stuck with one another, not in a bad way, mind you. So maybe we should get on the right track between us and things may be a bit smoother. I dunno..."
  5. >Le sigh "You have a point...alright then, if you believe that we should be unhinged by me over analyzing and thinking this much into everyone else's game plan, then so be it. Guess Heroic Spirits have quite the fount of knowledge within them. Very well, let's return back to town and do our best to locate Berserker...if anything else..." >Gives Rider a thumbs-up in return "...we'll just wing it."
  6. Alright then...this should be interesting: Interested Fully Noted
  7. Okay, I am interested, but before I make 100% total interest...I got a few questions: I see that certain NPCs are transported to a new world, I am to believe this is an isekai, correct? Is this something similar to "Is it Wrong to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon" or am I reading too much into that fact just because of the name? And to be 100% sure on this: we're NPCs that have gained sentience in this new world?
  8. "I stopped very gently and sat upon the Time Machine, looking round. The sky was no longer blue. North-eastward it was inky black, and out of the blackness shone brightly and steadily the pale white stars. Overhead it was a deep Indian red and starless, and south-eastward it grew brighter to a glowing scarlet where, cut by the horizon, lay the huge hull of the sun, red and motionless. The rocks about me were of a harsh reddish color, and all the trace of life that I could see at first was the intensely green vegetation that covered every projecting point on their south-eastern face. It was the same rich green that one sees on forest moss or on the lichen in caves: plants which like these grow in a perpetual twilight." David found himself killing time as it were, reading one of his favorite novels again. However, once reading one passage of it, he moved and slid a bookmark into the book's place before shutting it and putting it in his bag. Glancing at the time, he stretched and got himself up almost immediately. He already signed up for both the Literature and Science Clubs, leaving him plenty of time to relax and collect his thoughts and mentally prepare himself. After all...it was finally time to apply himself and tryout for the Horizon Duel Team. Well, let's hope the applicant line isn't too long. David thought, adjusting his glasses slightly before making his way towards the gym where the tryouts were taking place. Of course, he sort of expected the Duel Team not to have too many applicants. After all, in recent years, they were slowly diminishing in the area of the team. Why was this? Honestly, David couldn't hazard a proper guess, as it could be a multiple set of answers and possibilities. Nevertheless, he was determined that he would reach a goal by using Horizon's Duel Team and becoming a Pro Duelist. ...then again, this was most student's dream, so it wasn't too much of a surprise. Once David finally arrived in the gym, he saw that there were quite a few individuals arriving to tryout for the team "...As I, The Final Boss of Destruction, Terry Shelley, daughter of demonic origin, have arrived! And with me, a new generation of evil, is sure to fester!” "Makoto Kondo, here for tryouts!" So one seems incredibly normal, while the other...well, I will say she's quite entertaining. Perhaps it's a persona? the young man thought with a shrug, beginning to walk closer to where the two girls stood. He began to clear his throat, before waving slightly. "Seems I made it with time to spare. David Kripaldi, here to tryout for the Duel Team."
  9. "What's worse, we don't know which ones have allied themselves...which is another potential problem. Seven Servants, means two distinct possibilities aside from just a free-for-all. Option 1: Servants and Masters have worked together in a group of three, which would mean there would be two groups of three while one works solo. Option 2: three groups of two, with yet again, one going solo. I am hoping that if the other options are the case and are forming, we aren't the ones ending up going solo." >Begins to slowly pace "While that may be something that could work for you...I don't think it would go well for either of us. ...now you happen to see where my mind is working overtime in a situation like this. Too many variables that could and may well be viable." >Looks again towards the city "The only method we could use, least the way I see it, could be something along the lines of we return to the city...and lure Berserker to the harbor, then return here post haste and enact the fight. However, if it's more than just Berserker or not Berserker at all, then we may be screwed in the long run."
  10. "Greg there's a good listener, but if he can answer, he hasn't answered me yet. Anyways, you should head into the training room in half an hour. We gotta see if you're one that protects, or gets protected." Alexandre stared ahead at the painting that the cloaked man called "Greg", not wanting to make direct eye contact with him just right there and then. For lack of a better word, he felt incredibly embarrassed about being caught talking to an inanimate object like this. He blamed this on his constant isolation from others in Farway. Of course he had his caretaker, Maurice, but he could only talk to him for so long...so his next best thing was to talk to the inanimate objects in his castle, from candelabras to the kitchen's dining sets. It was definitely a habit that was hard to break. Once the cloaked man left with quite a number of the Jaegers following, Alexandre followed suit, exhaling greatly. As long as no one plans to bring this up, we should be fine... he thought, exhaling once more. Alexandre was surprised to see that he had arrived at the training room before the "Dragon Slayer" did. He guessed he should've been paying more attention to what the man was saying to the rabbit and cat Jaegers a bit more closely. Nevertheless, it was obvious others were here in the room, namely the witch and the one who wanted to be named Robin. It had seemed that these two had just finished a bit of a training session and rather than assume to "take the stage", so to speak, he simply moved over and awaited the others. After all, the "Dragon Slayer" did want to see whether he was one that needed protection or if he would be the one to protect. ...I'll have to show my prowess without relying on that...unless I'm forced to. Alexandre became engrossed in thought as he leaned up against the wall, exhaling softly.
  11. "I figured you'd go that route...*sigh*...fair enough though. So if we're attempting to remove Berserker from the board and use this island for that specific purpose, we need to lure them and their Master here, without rousing suspicion of the others." >Silently curses for not finding any sources of mana, but I sort of expected it, so it's not all bad. "Same time, you do actually have a point in all of this. We remove the toughest opponent out of the seven, then we establish ourselves as the ones who took Berserker down. If all goes well with that, we'd possibly have others wanting an alliance and we'd be the ones spearheading that...at least that's what I'm thinking." >Looks back towards the city. "Gonna need a hell of a signal for just Berserker though...at the same time, let me ask this, would you be utilizing your Noble Phantasm against Berserker or would you be saving it for later? Just a simple yes or no would suffice."
  12. Standing off to the side to watch this Duel between Shannon and Alex, it was obvious this was going to be quite the interesting one for him to watch. It was a Duel between Pendulum users. Shannon brought out Clear Wing Fast Dragon, which was an interesting monster to see. He had been told about Pendulum Synchros but he was still trying to wrap his mind about the possibility of how these things possibly work, but here it was...right in front of him. Alex on the other hand, she was running D/D. D/D...a-and Shannon c-currently has C-Clear Wing Fast D-Dragon... he thought, watching intently between the two. ...a-at the same time, with b-b-both of them b-being P-Pendulum users...S-Shannon's advantage w-with Pendulum of Souls i-is out t-the window... While he was worried about what the outcome would be, Jet had some sort of feeling that Shannon would pull out a victory. Was this him having faith in someone on this little motley crew they called a "team"? Possibly, but Jet doubted it. He just figured that, aside from Hotaru, everyone else had to be strong in Dueling to even be around here in Project Crimson. She'd be fine...he figured. ...s-s-still...I-I may have to disobey h-her order if anything happens... Jet thought, exhaling slowly, hoping silently that he wouldn't have to step in.
  13. "Perfect. Now comes the dilemma: how to lure the pairs here to this island and when?" >Looks at Rider "Not only this, but we need to be doubly sure that we've stocked up on a nice amount of mana for the both of us. If someone like Berserker appears and we aren't ready, then we'll be immediately out of the running." >Looks around the island for anything that could be used in order to assist myself and Rider in the area of stockpiling mana for the island brawl we'll be initiating
  14. "It's namely to make sure none of them get an immediate notice of you that way. Detecting is another thing, but I would believe they can't exactly pinpoint a specific area. But then again, I've been wrong about that stuff before." >Returns to the island to finish preparations.
  15. New trailer for KH3 Re:Mind DLC is out...and now I have to ask...does this take place before or after the final battle? o.o

    1. Ash

      Ash

Think it's a bit of option and a bit of option b

    2. Chaos Sonic

      Chaos Sonic

Wow...now I really need to finish my KH3 game and get ready for this. And when it happens, maybe start it all over.

    3. PhoenixOfCute

      PhoenixOfCute

It seems like it's either before or during the final battle of the game, I admit I'm pretty excited for it myself. Cross fingers to be able to play as more characters in more than just a single cutscene each this time

  16. Current favorite Galar region Pokémon and why?
  17. >Wake up, get myself ready and grabbing whatever happened to be left from the obvious room service delivery (if any) "Alright then, Rider. Let's get back to that island and finish up...with any luck, we might be able to finish today and get working on the next step. On the way there, however, try and not to be seen. While it's unlikely, I don't want to risk a Servant and Master team recognize you. Again, it's unlikely, but the chance is still there." >Prepares to leave the hotel and return to the island
  18. "Perfect? I guess we'd have differing opinions about that, but it's seeming we won't be able to just have cover or a point of ambush when they end up coming here. Regardless, I suppose we better start on the trap setting and then prepare for them to find us." >Proceeds to set up quite a number of traps along the island in preparation.
  19. For the meme side at that first question...not to be taken seriously... "We shall commence that after we do our best to scout this island to the best of our abilities. We need to find a location to bunker down in as well as locations for where to set traps. Once all that is taken care of, then we'll get the other's attention." >Begins to scout the area
  20. I'm already in two YGO RPs...but then a few RPs did stop going and I'm free...sooooooo... [Interest Noted]
  21. "I suppose I can take a try at that. Seen an old friend of mine do it a few times before and actually taught me...at least once. Just keep your fingers crossed." >Allows the Servant to move from where the panel is and attempts to hotwire the boat.
  22. Jet waited and waited and waited for something to be crackling through the radio, but alas...it was obvious no one would answer. It was this moment that almost had the young man miss Akihiro right in his ear rambling along about some scientific crap...almost. Nevertheless, he and Shannon continued onward, before being forced to stop as the road brought them to a grand stadium. Jet had seen it a few times, but he didn't really understand the significance of it at the time...then again...why would he care? "Isn't that curious? We've seen barely a soul, and then somebody just... waltzes in to where we're headed? It seems like something we should investigate!" While Shannon was right about this was being weird, Jet didn't get a word in edge wise or anything before he was dragged off by the hand to follow this strange, suspicious person. D-Damnit...why a-a-ask the question i-if you'll just drag me anyway... he thought, though while Shannon might've thought he was just some helpless puppy, it was more or less on the cautious side...and his survivalist side was starting to stir. Jet had been trained by Akihiro to watch and learn, to see things...a power of perception almost, though it was something he was still attempting to work on. However, while apparently a pair of stealth masters...alas they were found out by the young woman who now stood before them. And what struck him as odd, was that Shannon seemed to stop mid-sentence and look over at a place that had no one there...and this mysterious girl also did that and addressed something to the same blank space. That was something he remembered...to others, before they left, he would be seen talking to nothing when in actuality...it was his Crystron friends. Shannon had a Duel Spirit, bottom line. "And you're here confronting me. Meaning that you're either dangerous yourself, or incredibly stupid." “We are here because we are special! ...and there is someone we need to find!” "What a coincidence! I'm also trying to find someone! How about we help each other find these people we're looking for?" “After that bit about being dangerous...? That sounds a bit fishy. What do you think, Jet?” Oh now s-s-she w-wants my o-o-opinion... Jet thought, before he looked at the young girl. "S-She's obviously...s-s-someone d-different from others. S-She could s-s-see your Duel Spirit..." he paused, most likely blowing Shannon's mind. "...n-n-no I-I can't see it...b-but used to...a-and I know the t-tell s-s-s-signs..." Jet looked over at the young girl again, his eyes slowly narrowing at her before he began to slowly and sluggishly step in front of Shannon. "...h-h-how c-can we t-t-trust you? ...w-with that talk of b-being dangerous at f-first...and then i-immediately m-making a 1-180...a-after we mention we're l-looking for someone...things a-aren't seeming right."
  23. "If we can do this without killing any of the innocents like that or making too much of a scene for the other combatants to find us, then I will allow you to 'work your magic', as they say." >Allows to let my Servant do what they please, provided no innocents are harmed in the process or make it where the combatants find us
