As Alexis and Yue made their way through the town, going towards the coast they would see that the market life wasn't any less busy. All around there seemed to be different stalls of all kind of seafood vendors milling about, everyone still trying to fervently sell their wares. In addition, they would see a multitude of ships that were all lined up of varying kinds. Some smaller, some larger, some seeming to come back from hauling in something from the sea. The crowds themselves seemed to differ from ship to ship, both in race and bearing, some seemingly more honest looking merchant folk and other seedier looking pirate types. Doing nothing to help aid their fears, they also saw a few men in red and silver armor milling about the area, seeming to talk to other people in front of the ships likely looking to begin some kind of inspection. After a bit of walking around, were they actually looking for Susanoo's ship they would find one that seemed to be a dead wringer for what the pirate hunter had yelled at Silt earlier. In spite of Yue's theory that it was a secret place on the water as well, it was actually very brazenly out in broad daylight. How Susanoo himself hadn't found it yet could only be explained either by a lack of effort on his part, or a lack of forethought on some god's. It would also become apparent, if it was not already so, that Silt was more likely than not just lying to the group about having to actually find out information on the boat. The young scoundrel was nowhere to be seen either. What was able to be seen, though, was that there was a large group of thuggish looking individuals who were all stationed around the boat. The men were all dressed in dark green clothing with a very tacky skull and tree insignia on them. They were also all armed. But for the most part, they seemed to be minding their own business simply looking the ship up and down as well as dissuade people from getting close. Leon smiled, seeing that Rona seemed to be happy with the clothing that she had bought. He wasn't an expert on this by any metric, both in terms of clothing shopping and doing things that weren't business related. And though he knew there was probably some value in finding things that weren't work to do, he just didn't have the first clue on how to approach it. So, he was glad he could at least help Rona figure out what to do here. Once the duo had gone and bought the clothing he said, "well, that was a nice change of pace. I wonder what everyone else is up to," the boy mused aloud. "Well, we should probably start finding them soon anyway." The boy's stomach then grumbled. Feeling less than dignified Leon said, "though, I suppose we can also find something to eat on the way too." Edda still seemed to be ruminating about Salamanders when she was suddenly taken off guard by Raynor's sudden question. Suddenly feeling hungry at the mention of food, she said, "yes!" While her voice was eager, she stopped for a moment. She could hear a sudden chastising in the back of her head. They were right too, she hadn't paid any of them yet, and she was still just adding burden after burden on to them. "Er, I mean. No! I don't need anything, at all. I'm perfectly fine!" Her tone came out way harsher then she intended as she also seemed to huff away. And as she did, her stomach growled again. Mouth quivering in embarrassment at this point, the girl did in fact want some food. But she had already been too eager and too harsh. She knew neither of these were the proper way to actually ask, and she had no idea how to recover, but she thought back. Thinking on it, she was sure this was the proper way. "Er, I mean. If you want. It's not like I want it or anything, but I'll eat some if there's spares." Edda had her back facing Raynor, and though he couldn't see the proud expression on the girl's face he could still see her nodding to herself. The shopkeeper, meanwhile, was ecstatic. "Twenty pounds! For sure! You get twenty, quality pounds! Thank you customer, thank you much much, fine quality customer. Do business here again yes?" As the guards continued to stand outside, keeping watch and checking all incoming carts and travelers. As they let in one cart, the duo currently there looked ahead to see that the next thing coming was just a singular man. Clad entirely in silver and golden armor and with a polearm at his side, the man strode towards the gate. As he reached it, one of the guards walked over to him saying, "excuse me, Sir. Could I have your name and business here." The man stopped, though he did not respond. "Um, Sir?" The man was silent. The guard stood there, similarly silent and awkward as the armored man did not seem to respond. He was sure that he was supposed to keep the man here and out until he answered, but there was something greatly unnerving about him. As the two continued to stalemate with each other, the other guard looked at him, eyes going wide with realization. "Oh, it's you. Wow, um we had heard you were coming and all but - I'm sorry it's just-" The man still didn't respond. "Do you know this guy?" The first guard asked. The other guard looked at him like he was crazy, asking, "do you not?! Anyways, apologies Sir. Here just come on right through." The man did not respond yet again, though began their stride once more and walked through the gate. Letting out a sigh of relief, the man said, "that was close." "What was that all about?" Still confused, the guard simply went back to his post as the other one seemed to be catching his breath still.

Decided, instead of only sharing a recipe with one person, I'd share it with anyone who loves to cook! I'm a big fan of cooking. I find it engaging, challenging, and very rewarding. I'll happily share my own recipes as I get the time to. If you'd like, you can share yours too and we'll create an NCM Cookbook! Here's to the first recipe: Comrade Duck's Red Beans and Rice This recipe will feed a family of four for at least two days. Adjust your portions to fit your needs. 2lbs of red kidney beans 2.5lbs of sausage of your choice (I recommend your favorite brand of smoke sausage or andouillie sausage (that's usually a southern staple)) / protein of your choice 1/2 cup of diced onion 1/2 cup of diced celery 1/2 cup of diced bell-pepper 1/2 cup of minced garlic Tony Chachere (Or salt and pepper to your preferred taste) With a sizeable pot, pour in your two pounds of red beans and cover them with luke-warm water and cover them with a lid. Leave them out on your counter top for at least twelve hours. 12 Hours Later Remove the water from your beans and give them some fresh water (enough to completely cover your beans). Bring your beans to a boil, then reduce the heat on your stove to a medium setting. Now is the time to prepare your seasonings! This includes washing and preparing your sausage or protein to go into the pot. Don't add them just yet, just prepare them to go into your pot. Your beans should be soft at this point, so its time to mash them. Quick Side Note: this step seems strange but its important! Mashing your beans (usually with a large cooking spoon or large utensil) will give you an incredible gravy and flavor. You don't have to mash one-hundred percent of your beans. Mash them until you start to see the water deepen into the color of the beans. At this point, it's time to add your seasonings. Pour in your onion, celery, garlic, and bell-pepper. Season to taste and add your protein of your choice. Reduce your heat once more to a low setting and let your beans cook for another two hours, stirring occasionally. Serve over rice. @Comrade DuckBeans and rice, nice! I first tried them in a cajun fast food chain restaurant and have liked them ever since. Although admittedly have not prepared them in a long while, and have not been able to match the taste of the cajun restaurant. Your recipe seems tasty and would be worth a try, but damn it sure takes a while. I can share a couple of recipes, too. Although I'm not too used to measurements and even when I follow a recipe I like to experiment with different spices and/or quantities, depending on how the dish looks or feels in the process. I can at the very least list the ingredients and approximate or minimum quantities. May as well start with a guacamole that so far has been liked by everyone whenever I make it for a party or gathering. I call it "Green Guacamole" for a reason you will find out below: - 3 avocados. I prefer Hash but any variety should be fine as long as it has the consistently you like the most. Personally I liked it ripe and soft to end up with a guacamole with a mushy, mashed-beans-like consistency - 1 Cucumber - 1 medium onion, 2 small ones, or half a big one - Lime juice. The green small one, not the yellow lemon that is bigger. This is important, they do taste different. Lime is more sour - Diced spicy peppers to taste. I personally prefer habanero, caribe and I think it's cayenne pepper because it's red, but really, anything spicy should work, like jalapeño - Diced fresh coriander to taste - Salt and pepper to taste Again, quantities are approximates and also up to personal taste so feel free to put less or more of a particular ingredient or skip it entirely. For example, I know not everyone is into onion or spicy food. As you may have noticed by now, there is a distinctive lack of tomato and an addition of cucumber, the latter effectively replacing the former. This is what makes this guacamole stand out, and why I call it green guacamole. It can be even more green if you add only green-colored peppers but I prefer to add some bits of color with yellow, orange and red peppers. Anyway, the preparation is simple. Just dice the vegetables and mix everything together, and mix and mash with a spoon or fork until you get your preferred consistency. I like ripe avocados and plenty of lime juice to make it more sour and spreadable, but you can also keep it more dry and go for avocado cubes and don't mash too hard. Accompany with tortilla chips, or add as a dressing in tacos or next to an steak, it can go well in hot dogs, too! Guacamole is quite flexible.

I like this one, mainly because it can support Mekk-Knights. Cards that net draws with certain triggers are often left out of decks because they require something to be live, namely Supply Squad and Constellar Star Chart, even if that "something" can be easy to meet because in the case you cannot or the attempts are negated, then you end up with a dead card, or more if you draw into multiples of this. However, this is both more generic by supporting an entire Type, and the condition is easier to fulfill, putting it on a different level to the other card-drawing Cont. Spells. This got potential, IMO.

I was confused who this Duck with VIP title was, turns it's Dad, yesh! Glad to see you back. Sorry, didn't you know you went through a rough patch, but seems you are better now, that's a relief. Now as a Duck, what else besides RPs are you looking forward to do and find in NCM?

This is my mom's bean salad recipe. She used to make it all the time for potlucks and it was always a hit. It has since been passed on to me. 1 can chickpeas drained and rinsed 1 can dark red kidney beans drained and rinsed Small bag of frozen edamame Small bag of frozen sweet corn Large ripe avocado Put the edamame and the corn in a microwaveable bowl with about 1/2 cup water and microwave on high till they are just on the hot side but not steaming. About 2 minutes. Keep checking. Drain and rinse the canned items and leave them in the colander. Once the corn and edamame are hot pour them over the beans in the colander. In a large bowl combine 2 tbls of grainy mustard with 1/4 cup olive oil and 2 tbls of white wine vinegar (white balsamic and champagne vinegar are best) with a whisk. Salt and pepper to taste. Pour the bean mixture in with the dressing and combine. Cut avocado into cubes and add to the beans. Mix gently. Serves a bunch but refrigerates well when covered

I know you shouldn’t ship real people, but if you two had a ship name, would it be Yai or Sui? Or something else?

Hey! So after some talk decided to make the blog section instead a forum like General and the like. Basically instead of posting your blogs in the separate section they'll now go as threads here. Main thing to remember will be to try and organize things in your opening post. We're hoping this makes it easier for people to notice, read, and comment on various blogs. If you have a blog atm please try and move them here as soon as possible so that we can remove that section entirely. Any concerns be sure to take to either PM or the Comments and Inquiries section.
