Instruction: Day 1 Hideyo was excited. The class seemed to be getting along for the most part, except for a few students who decided to start their day on the wrong foot. Their instructor, Pro Heroine, Epicenter, had finally made her way into the class! She explained their first exercise, and it was a group activity. Designed to allow students to understand their classmates' quirks, and encourage teamwork. This was a tactical decision that would benefit everyone. The proceedings began with Diana, who's quirk was not quite thoroughly explained! She also spoke slightly broken Japanese. Was she American? Awesome! Next in line was a young man named Yokuna. He had Powertools on his hands! Following Yokuna was Takehiko! His Quirk was Chess. The entire world was his chessboard and he was the king! Then, there was Ayane. Her Quirk, Compose, turned sound into matter! Does she like lots of bass? Yumi's Quirk, Charge, stored a large amount of electricity! Shocking. Tsubasa was sixth, with her Quirk, Cat! She could do everything a cat could do! ...she doesn't... bathe herself like... a cat... does she? Blech! Benjamin followed Tsubasa, with his Quirk, Spider Colony! He had spider pals living in his body and he could control them! Does that mean he always has fresh threads? Neat! And now, just before Hideyo, was Emi. Her Quirk was Brine! Saltwater control! The ocean was her oyster! With pride, Hideyo held up his head and followed after Emi. With a bow, he introduced himself to the rest of the class. "Hello, everyone!" he beamed. "My name is Kagarashi Hideyo. My hero name is Brightside! My Quirk is Starfire!" he said as he extended his hand upward into the sky. He pointed a finger into the air to demonstrate, firing a brilliant star into the sky. It burned brightly and appeared to keep going! "I've been trying to think of some ways to implement my father's kickboxing teachings into the application of my Quirk. I'll try them out today!" Hideyo took a few steps back and closed both his fists and pointed them at the ground. With a leap, he fired two medium stars into the ground and propelled himself backward, into the training grounds. He soared into the sky and found himself above a parking garage that was positively littered with robots. Turning his body, he pointed his fist upward and propelled himself downward into the garage. Catching himself with another flashy star, he landed in a circle of four robots. Spreading his fingers, he greeted his opponents. "Please excuse me!" he said. Suddenly, the parking garage was blindingly bright as stars rained out of Hideyo's fingertips, shredding his enemies in a moments time.

Things were going south faster and faster, becoming increasingly harder to deal with everyone around him. The guns above Joanna fired, however, instead of hitting the girl they hit the boy's stand. Which, of course, caused the bullets to shoot back up and destroy the guns on the ceiling. This wouldn't be a problem, if Kace and『21 GUNS』weren't preoccupied with the hail of gunfire aimed towards him. A wall of guns appeared in front of Kace and his stand, blocking the gunfire aimed towards him, as Kace stopped firing. He turned to deal with the other two, but it was too late. Joanna was now in his face,『CD SPACE』grappling『21 GUNS』off of the ground. As it did, all of the guns he had manifested disappeared into dust. Instinctively, Kace stepped back, making his way towards his stand and ripping the gun from its face, seemingly destroying the stand as he held the pistol in his hand. He placed the gun on his temple, as Kace grit his teeth. An array of machine guns appeared from his chest, the guns revving up. The objective was no longer to cause a diversion - he had done that plenty enough. Now, his objective was to survive. However, before the guns fired, he let out a sigh, lowering the gun from his temple. He knew when he was beat - Joanna was far too close for him to pull anything,『CD SPACE』would be able to shut him down from this distance, and this wasn't even including the other users. He was outgunned and outnumbered. "Not bad, for a bunch of brats." He said begrudgingly, his stand dissipating. He had done his share of the plan, despite his teammate's incompetence. He could only hope that they held up their part of the mission. "Even with the amount of times I've been fucked over by these idiots, I don't think I've had my back against the wall like this in a long time." He said, chuckling softly, as he turned towards the ceiling. "If I somehow get out of this alive, I'm done with these clowns."

"Sorry, I don't know your name... [Oh, a-and you too, Ben! I'm] Diana Seigi! [I'm here because of... Well, let's say reasons. I'm here to learn how to better help people. And you?]" Benjamin nodded, shrugging slightly. "[Pretty much the same, so no big shocker there. Though I'm an American transplant here...you know how it is, dad's job needs a liaison and worker out here, chose my dad and he took me and my mom and brought us here. Pretty interesting change of pace, I'll say.]" Luckily, after he answered that, the teacher came in, Ms. Todoya though she wanted to be known as Epicenter. Most likely her Hero Name, rather than just a nickname, but at the same time...from first glance, she seemed really nervous. Was this her first year of teaching? "T-today will be introductions! And a little exercise to boot! Now let's put on our gym clothes and head to training ground zeta, okay! Ready? GO!!!" This man him slink a bit in his seat. Introductions and going to a training ground? Oh that could mean so many things... Benjamin sighed slightly, not entirely looking forward to this...but alas, it had to happen. "This is where we'll be introducing ourselves, our quirks, AND our hero names to each other! Please state your name to the class, and head on inside! There are tons of training robots running around here, kinda like your practical exams! Don't be afraid to go all out against them either. And don't take it too easy, because they won't do the same for you. You won't be aiming for points this time around, but everyone has to destroy at least one robot before exiting, is that c-c-clear?! If you have any questions, I'll be all ears. I'm excited to meet you all today!" Benjamin stood there, watching a few students move forward. Diana/Artemis Justice... Yokuna/Workshop... Takehiro/J'adoube... Ayane/11... Yumi/Megawatt... and Tsubasa/Ocelot... All of them had immensely amazing Quirks in their own rights, he almost felt...jealous about seeing these amazing Quirks. He let out a small sigh, before shaking his head. ...c'mon O'Hara...it's day one. You have to do this... he thought, before finally stepping forward. Arriving at the gate, Benjamin stood there for a few moments, not doing much before finally lifting his lowered head and smacking his face a bit. Now with a look of determination, he adjusted his hair and then turned back to face the class. It was time for his moment to shine... or freak the class out... whichever came first. "I'm Be-..." he immediately caught himself, before clearing his throat. "Sorry. I'm O'Hara Benjamin...but feel free to call me Ben. My Hero name...is Arachnid Hero - Multi-Threader." Benjamin took another deep breath. "My Quirk is known as Spider Colony. It basically makes me a living hive in which I house spiders within my body...and I can command them." Benjamin immediately turned on his heel, not wanting to see the reactions from the others at this point as he rushed forward through the gate. Of course, he immediately saw a robot doing it's best to intercept him. He began to skid to a halt, before nodding slowly. "Okay guys...it's show time." he exhaled slowly, getting into a small stance before rushing towards the robot, seeing the automaton throwing a punch. The robot was twice his size, but this was good...the punch was thrown and gracefully Benjamin jumped slightly to now be on top of the automaton's fist and arm. ...what was more...he was now sticking to the arm as the robot lurched it back. If the students were looking close enough, they would see that on Benjamin's hands and feet...there was a coating of webbing. "Alright...step one...now...the hell was I doing for step two?" Benjamin muttered, as he now was sticking onto the arm of the robot. Then he saw his moment and target. "Okay, there we go." The young man moved a bit, now running up the arm towards the area where the arm and shoulder would meet. The joints holding those together definitely had a spot open big enough for something small to enter in...the perfect way in. The robot, on the other hand, seemed to thrash around some...not taking kindly to Benjamin's running on him like this. "Y-Yeeesh! What is this, a reject mechanical bull?" he groaned, making his way still to the joint where the arm and shoulder were. He exhaled, before putting his hands on the area. "Alright guys, time to take this down from the inside out." he said, now seeing a few spiders exiting his hands and arms as they crawled right into the robot. Now the robot began to lurch and shake quite a bit as now it was seeming to not be control of it's functions anymore...even started to power down in certain locations on their body. Before too long, the robot ceased all function and remained motionless. Benjamin smirked and did a backflip off the arm before landing down on the ground, though stumbling to stick the landing down. He turned to face the robot and sighed, just waiting for a few moments. Finally, from a few of the joints his spiders began to crawl out and return to him. "Bout time. C'mon, on a bit of a time schedule, fellas." he rolled his eyes before crouching and putting his hands down to let the spiders return within.

Tsubasa continued to wait around in class, playing on her phone as she had been, when suddenly something caught her attention. Her hairs standing on end, she felt like there was something coming soon. This was only furthered by the fact that she could literally feel what was coming. As the whole room began to shake, Tsubasa put her phone down and looked curiously at the door. Her anticipation seemed to be getting the better of her as a smile was incredibly visible on her face. The rumbling soon revealed itself to be none other than their home room teacher, a woman who went by the name of Epicenter. As the rumbling began once more, Tsubasa couldn't help but feel naturally on edge about the woman but there was something truly exciting about a quirk like this as well. As such, when the class was told to get going to the training grounds to show off their stuff the girl got right to it. Tsubasa whistled at the sight of the training grounds that they were at, her eyes moving across all of the buildings as well as the impressive wall that separated it from the rest of the school. "Now this is more like it." The girl nodded, then looked back to her teacher as she explained what would be going on today. While Tsubasa was ready to let loose when she was told what to do for the introductions, she was given pause by one thing. "Eh? Hero names?" The girl couldn't blurt aloud as she stepped back for a moment, letting others go. She hadn't put much thought into that kind of thing at all and suddenly felt a bit put on the spot for this. Well, it didn't really matter, especially with what everyone else was saying. She just needed something obvious and related to her quirk for her name. Or jadoob, but she didn't have the first clue about jadoob. So she decided to go with the first one. After a few more moments of intense thinking, the girl finally got something that fit. With her vigor restored and stepping up to the plate she looked to everyone with confidence that clearly had no right being there. "My name is Kaenbyou Tsubasa. The Feline Hero - Ocelot! As for my quirk, well," the girl flicked her tail to the side. "What you see is what you get." The girl briskly walked forward into the training grounds, only to be met with a robot twice her size trying to intercept her. Smiling confidently, the girl stepped towards it saying, "well, you're pretty big aren't you?" The robot didn't say anything and just looked at her with the one glowing eye on its head. As the robot moved towards her, it reeled back its fist for a punch towards the girl. Narrowly, Tsubasa jumped back out of the way from the attack. The robot continued trying to punch her, one strike after the other. Tsubasa herself seemed to continue evading the attacks by the narrowest of margins. Though, in spite of how close they came no matter if she had to step, jump or duck Tsubasa neither seemed concerned nor like she was off balance. With one final jump back, she grinned saying, "well, you're pretty boring so how about we end this, huh?" As the robot went to punch her again, the girl began sprinting only to immediately turn it into a slide, sliding underneath the robot's arm and going past it. Without much delay, the girl quickly turned herself around and got onto both of her feet. Leaping forward with claws extending from her fingers the girl latched onto the back of the robot. Swiftly, she scaled the mechanical enemy, pushing up and kicking off of it as she got to the head. Flipping over the robot's head, while in mid air Tsubasa twisted herself to be perpendicular with the robot's eye. Then to finish her maneuver off, she delivered a swift kick to the red glowing eye and seemed smashed through it with relative ease. As she descended, the girl seemed to control herself well enough in the air that she landed on both of her feet without much of a sweat. Looking at the downed robot, still grinning Tsubasa said, "well, that was a good warm up."

Hakaro glanced around as more and more people entered the room, and he quickly found himself surrounded by three girls. Hopefully they weren't the loud type. The rest seemed even worse. People making big announcements to the class that Hakaro couldn't hear through his headphones, and even a mutant-type with chainsaw hands and a metal face. Was that one a monkey? Deciding he'd best not mentally exhaust himself with all the extras, Hakaro elected to focus on a single object. Staring intently at the desk neatly placed haphazardly on the desk at his forward-right corner, where the girl with red and black hair sat. It was through such focus that he noticed it. The pencil was moving. Hardly visibly, but it soon back and forth, as if the entire room was experiencing a tiny, almost imperceptible earthquake. Hakaro reached up with his right hand, slowly pulling the noise-canceling headphones off of his head as his left hand tensed up against the desk. If this was caused by a quirk, Hakaro figured, then whosever it was didn't have a proper handle on it. They were something to worry about. With a jolt, the pencil began rolling, and promptly fell from the desk. Not so fast. What would appear to be tiny blue flames appeared at the tips of the fingers of Hakaro's left hand, and as he snapped it into a fist, a snake, seemingly made of the wispy blue matter, appeared to slither out of a supporting beam of Ayane's desk, catching the pencil in the air silently and coiling around it. The snake slithered toward him without making a sound, dropping the pencil into his outstretched hand. His hand on his desk could actually feel the shaking at this point, it seemed to be growing stronger with each passing second. It was at that point that he noticed the girl on his right, who had long red hair and an expression almost as bored as his own, had seen him use his quirk. "So you caught that. Oh well. Do you feel the shaking?" He stared intently at the door, unsure of what was going to burst through, unsure of what he had to be ready for. Natalia gave the boy next to him a sort of lazy glance, watching him summon some sort of ghost snake, catching the excited girl’s pencil. While interesting, she was more interested in the gradual shaking that seemed to be happening around them. The bubble she was blowing popped as the boy asked her a question. “Yeah… I do.” She said, continuing to chew on her bubblegum. “Wonder what it could be.” She said as dryly as she could. "I'd reason that it's someone's quirk. I don't think it's anyone here, it just started." He placed his hand mostly out of view under his desk, as it was enveloped in the ethereal flames, "Maybe there is a villain knocking at the doorstep. Wouldn't that be fun?" a smile that looked all too genuine crept onto the boy's face. "You aren't a pacifist, are you?" Ah, so he was a psychopath. Good to know, Natalia thought, as she scoffed at the implication. “You’d have to be an idiot to be a hero and be a pacifist.” She said, brushing some of her hair from her face. “But no, it’s probably not a villain. Or, at least, a really stupid one. It’s probably just some moron who can’t control their quirk.” "Then aren't they here to learn?" Hakaro was practically holding his breath as he stared at the door. He had a lot of pent-up emotion he was waiting to release.

Scarlet took the brunt of Alarik’s attack as the sand started to die down. The Scizor was tough, though, and swung back with her own Superpowered strikes. Brooke wasn’t really sure who came out with the upperhand; she knew she needed to rejoin the fight, but her body was reeling from the stress of such rapid fire use of Flare Blitz and Superpower. Nani on the other hand was still apparently fresh. The Mimikyu propelled herself forward to use her own Superpower on the Steelix (Brooke realized that all three of them had been using the attack often in the last hour. Maybe it was like their signature attack?). It wasn’t her signature attack though. She had one she preferred much, much more, as she had always leaned more towards her Fire heritage as opposed to her Fighting. Blue flames once again wreathed her form. In the dying light of the sandstorm she looked like some kind of flaming avenger, casting burning blue light light across the arena. “Lets finish this!” she shouted, then threw herself forward to smash into Alarik with Nani.

Team Paragon "I can win. I will win! We'll fight until one side can't fight any more! That's how it works right? That's how its always worked! There's no other way with how this damned world is! So just shut up and fight me like your life depends on it cause I'm not going to be holding back!" Fight like my life depends on it...? This phrase was something that Randy knew all too well, given the fact that he had been fighting like that since he arrived on this region. Now with Denku using Kazo as a digging hammer to avoid the stones, most likely at this moment preparing an underground strike, only the Incineroar was facing the Tyranitar and her twisted smile with this raging sandstorm. Only an exhale escaped his lips. Then...a smirk appeared...before it evolving into a full blown grin. BGM "No holding back? Heh...e pili ana ia i ka manawa. You know that's something I've been hoping for since we started our bouts back at Northshore!" Randy began to laugh, as he tightened the Black Belt around his waist and adjusted his collar, flicking it back up. "Then I'll meet your strongest...WITH MY STRONGEST!!!" With another roar, Randy rushed towards the Tyranitar, firing off a quick Fire Blast to make a bit of an access to allow him to strike Allie without hitting the sandstorm. Once that happened, he unleashed a Fire Fang and then followed up with a quick succession of Close Combat. The Tyranitar roared in response, only striking back at Randy with a combination of Pursuit and Payback...these two gijinka going to odds with one another. "Grrrrr...that's more LIKE IT!!" Randy grinned again, his eyes glowing brightly as this was becoming more of an excitement to him rather than his life truly depended on it. But then again... "What you failed to realize Allie...is that I'm ALWAYS fighting like my life depended on it! It's how we Incineroars are!!" Allie only growled more, her face still twisted with pain and aggression, attempted to swing with a new formed Stone Edge. Randy noticed it, jumped up and used Acrobatics to swiftly dodge it. "You aren't going to win...not with how you are! What these Godslayers and their boss is promising you, it won't EVER help you. But I'm going to finally knock some sense into you, Allie...and I'm dragging your tail back to your family and friends!!!" Randy now moved away slightly, before noticing that Kazo and Denku erupted from the ground and delivered a punch right to Allie's jaw. Now the Incineroar looked over at the Pupitar and nodded, while the Gabite was currently holding his head with a groan. Time for that move yet again... "This hand of mind is pulsing dark!!" Randy's arm became engulfed with the dark energy, preparing his Darkest Lariat. “Its dark grip is telling us to defeat you!” Denku's hand now too becoming engulfed with dark energy, preparing his Dark Pulse. Randy roared out again, rushing in with Denku following close behind. "HEAR THE CRY OF THE PARAGON'S SOUL!!! DOUBLE DARKNESS PARAGON STRIKE!!!" The Dark Type combination attack hit it's mark true...but at the same time...would it be truly enough to have Allie down for the count. Randy sincerely doubted it, but he figured that this would definitely do enough damage.

Emi was still a little taken aback by the events of the past ten minutes, but she was raring to go. After the shaky introduction and throwing on their gym clothes, all the students gathered by the training grounds. "This is where we'll be introducing ourselves, our quirks, AND our hero names to each other! Please state your name to the class, and head on inside! There are tons of training robots running around here, kinda like your practical exams! Don't be afraid to go all out against them either. If you have any questions, I'll be all ears. I'm excited to meet you all today!" And boy, the variety in quirks was amazing! Emi was so enamored by everyone showing off she almost forgot to go herself. She steeled herself and started to say something, but another boy beat her to it. "I'm Be-... Sorry. I'm O'Hara Benjamin...but feel free to call me Ben. My Hero name...is Arachnid Hero - Multi-Threader. My Quirk is known as Spider Colony. It basically makes me a living hive in which I house spiders within my body...and I can command them.” Emi’s body shivered. She hated spiders, and the thought of them living inside of someone… scuttling around... really creeped her out. Emi shook her head in an effort to ignore the thought. Now’s not the time for this. Here goes nothing! Emi turned towards the class, uncapped her thermos, and raised her hand to get everyone’s attention. “Hey everyone! I’m Kikuchi Emi,” she paused for a second to tip her thermos over, pouring out its contents. Instead of falling on the ground however, the water swirled midair into a hoop that circled around her waist, about an arm’s length in radius. She continued, “but you all can call me the Aquatic Hero - Rivulet. Nice to meet you! If you couldn’t tell already, I can do some pretty cool things with saltwater.” She placed the container on the ground. “I’ll come back for you later.” Emi twirled around and made a beeline for the training grounds. Robots patrolled the grounds, with Emi soon finding herself in front of one. Its eye glowed red as it meandered towards her. “Let’s do it.” Her hoop of water split, becoming two separate tendrils. One reached out and grabbed the robot’s arm, the other wrapped around its neck. Emi made a downwards pushing motion with her arms, as the water tendrils pulled the robot down, knocking it over. Moving her arm in one fluid motion, the rope of water around the robot’s neck condensed itself, crumpling the metal and popping its head off. “Aw yeah, I’m just getting started!”

"And so let us see which of us have more to give!" The jig is up with the bones. Peering through the sands, Nani - while initially treated to a faceful of rocks that finally did away with the rest of her barrier - caught a glimpse of the other girls closing in on Alarik, doing this move and that move against him. That was the one! That flurry of punches Scarlet used! With the jig up on the bones, something like that would probably be Nani's best bet. Just in the nick of time too, since it seemed like Scarlet was in a bit of a pinch. Nani hurried over, fists aglow in a similar fashion to how Scarlet's had been not long ago. And once she was in swinging range, Nani threw out her hands, aimed at the center of Alarik's mass.

Lok Team ThunderWaves She was starting to wear down, Lok could tell, as the hail started to let up. However, things weren't done yet, as piles of snow and stars were being lobbed at him and the rest of his team. He swung his arm in front of him, watching his Thunderbolt sweep through the snow and breaking the clumps, wincing as the stars hit him. Keanu started fighting Kaila, announcing the same notion that Lok and, he thought, Taiga had came too. Lok brushed himself off from the attack, noting that the stars had cut him in various places. Nothing too serious, but there was more blood than Lok had expected around him. He saw Taiga riding Keanu's wave, dragging the Godslayer into it. The ghost boy kept an eye on what was going on, waiting once more for his opportunity to attack the Godslayer without frying Taiga. As they fought in the wave, Lok let out a burst of Ominous Wind. He wasn't exactly sure how this worked, but he knew that it sometimes made him stronger. "COME ON LOK! TAKE YOUR BEST SHOT!" The two jumped out of the wave, and Taiga was now holding the slayer down for him. Lok's instinct was right, as he now had the ghostly winds circling around him. "This ends now!" Lok shouted, ghastly flames circling around him with the purple winds swirling around his arms. With surprising speed and force, Lok shot out a Hex towards the trapped target, the flames swirling into a phantom disk. Kaila struggled to break free as the flames barreled towards her, but to no avail. The shark girl's grasp on her was too much, as the disk practically exploded into a gust of wind as it struck her right in the center of her chest. Scarlet Team SuperPower Scarlet didn't notice the sand thinning out around them. She, instead, was paying close attention to Alarik, who was starting to look worn down. The Steelix's gems glowed as he charged in towards her, faster than she had expected. She could still feel the force of her Swords Dance in her body, and she didn't have time to dodge. So, instead, she took a page from Taiga's book and darted in. Her armor glowed a red hot crimson as she barreled towards the charging target, pulling her arm back. She slammed her Superpowered fist into the man's arm, following it up with another and another, quickly becoming a flurry of blows. She let out a battle cry, powered both by the adrenaline in her veins and the pain from the Double-Edge, as Alarik stumbled back from the attack, nearly losing his balance from the sheer force of the attack. Scarlet wasn't about to let up, however, diving back in to strike. Alarik barely had time to balance himself as Scarlet dived back in, a trail of steam behind her, swinging her arm towards him. He barely managed to block the attack with his arm, however, the girl had clamped down on the armor with a Bug Bite. Wincing, Alarik swung his arm to get the girl off of him. Scarlet was sent flying, circling right around Alarik as her wings fluttered, using the momentum of his swing to accelerate. She swung all the way around and slammed the Steelix in the face with a Bullet Punch. While he was caught by surprise by the sudden punch, he was quick to react, grabbing Scarlet by the leg as she flew across him. Scarlet was caught off-guard, as Alarik slammed her into the ground again, this time bringing his other arm up and getting ready to slam it down on top of her.

"You can do it Belle and Moo! Show them what you got!" Things weren't looking so good, but Belle had her own personal cheering section. It was kind of annoying, but also kind of...nice. Not that she'd ever actually tell that to the girl. It wouldn't do to give her a big head. So instead Belle looked forward, toward her opponent. Strategy. I have to use strategy, she thought. Or at least I have to figure out what to do. That's the first step. It was all about knowing what to do, and then making sure you did it fast enough, without cracking under pressure. Meanwhile the other person, the Rising Star whose name Belle had already forgotten, seemed to be taking lessons from Jacklyn in being loud and annoying. "You may have figured out a way around one of my strategies but that doesn't matter! Do you know why? Because Cacnea has Poison Sting just to deal with other Grass types! How about that? I call it Covering Types!" The girl's cheek twitched. "Really? Covering Types? Why don't you just not give it a dumb name instead? That sounds more reasonable." Before the boy could answer, his Cacnea did for him, rolling forward and releasing a spray of poisonous needles at Moo. I could try and lower its defense with Tail Whip, but this battle has gone on long enough. Even with Absorb, that Cacnea has to be getting tired. It's best to just take it out as soon as possible, to prepare for the possibility of there being multiple Pokémon, Belle thought. But the real reason is, the sooner I finish this battle, the sooner we might be able to get out of this desert. That was incentive enough for her. "Okay, Moo, use, pbbft, Rock Smash!" she spat out sand from her mouth. The cow lowed, before charging at the Cacnea through the Poison Sting. Though he was slower on the sand than on solid earth, he wasn't as handicapped by it as he could be, having already participated in one desert battle. Which meant he knew what to expect. Right before reaching the other grass type, he raised his front hooves high before smashing them down on the cactus. The Cacnea let out a cry of pain, rolling backward before popping up and retaliating with another volley of Poison Sting. Though it hit, and seemed to do some damage, Moo stood as strong and confidently as before. "Okay, Moo, keep using Rock Smash!" Vine Whip wasn't a good idea since it was another grass type, so it was either Tackle or Rock Smash. And according to the Pokédex, Rock Smash could lower defense. So it made sense to keep using it. This time, Moo missed. But she couldn't do anything about the sand. It raged on as hard as ever, giving the Cacnea an advantage, as its trainer had been eager to declare. Honestly, Belle couldn't think of any way to get around that or turn it to her advantage. It was just something she would have to keep in mind. Thankfully, she didn't have to keep it in mind for long, as after a couple of fruitless charges, the sandstorm had died down somewhat. Belle could now speak without sand getting in her mouth, and she could see more clearly too. Which meant so could Moo. She didn't bother shouting out orders though, as she had already said what needed to be said. It was now up to Moo. The calf swished its tail from side to side as it stared down the Cacnea. Two opponents, both using only one move. Who will go down first? And then Moo was running, hooves digging into the sand, his heavier weight and small hooves working against him, but his tireless stamina making up for it. Soon enough, he was right in front of the Cacnea, raising his hooves high. The cactus raised its arms to fire off another round of Poison Sting, causing the cow to cry out in pain, eyes squinting closed. A small opening in its face bubbled a purplish hue, small purple bubbles erupting from the sore. But his hooves continued their descent, and instead of sand, this time they slammed into pulpy flesh, a loud squelch resounding throughout the area as something gave way underneath. The noise was a little unnerving, but as far as Belle could tell, nothing had been broken. But the opposing Pokémon's face had been smashed in like a pumpkin, cactus juice dripping from its mouth as it lay on the sand, completely passed out. Belle let out a sigh of relief. They had won, but now her Pokémon was poisoned, and she hadn't thought to buy an Antidote. I really hope this boy only has the one Cacnea, she thought. --

What was the teacher going to be like? How about the other students? Would there be lots of practical exercises? Ayane was practically shaking in her seat out of excitement! Wait... no, she was just actually physically shaking. That was weird. Not only was Ayane shaking, but upon closer inspection, so was her desk and chair. Was this what those massage chairs were like? If so, she didn't really understand what the big deal was with them. More importantly, just where was that shaking coming from? "I'd reason that it's someone's quirk. I don't think it's anyone here, it just started. Maybe there is a villain knocking at the doorstep. Wouldn't that be fun?" "Villains are not fun," Ayane countered, turning around in her chair to face the headphones-donning boy who had proposed such a thing. "Besides, even if it was a villain, there's no way they'd make it to the classroom. Have you seen how stacked the staff here is?" Glory was the principal. A top 10 hero was teaching here too; Ayane had caught a brief glimpse of her the other day. And those were just off the tippy-top of her head. If Ayane had taken some time to research the staff, surely she'd be impressed even more with each new discovery about just what sort of all-star roster of heroes was teaching here, let alone the connections this school surely had. So, in conclusion, either it wasn't a villain, or it was about to stop being one real soon. It wasn't much later that the door opened and a woman stumbled in with some papers. It wasn't hard to tell she was the source of the vibrations. Given the papers, the fact that nobody had stopped her thus far, and the fact that she was obviously a good bit older than the students here, it was a pretty safe guess to say she was the teacher, right? "G-good morning..again! My name is Ms. Todoya, b-but while in the c-class please call me Epicenter." Ayane was drawing a bit of a blank. She knew she'd seen the name Epicenter somewhere before, but she wasn't quite sure where right now. Maybe it would click later. "I'll be your homeroom teacher, starting from today! I hope to get along well with all of you. N-now what were we going to do today, again...let's see....ah! T-today will be introductions! And a little exercise to boot! Now let's put on our gym clothes and head to training ground zeta, okay! Ready? GO!!!" "GO!" Ayane echoed. The trip of getting changed and heading to the training ground came complete with one extra pit stop for Ayane. A very brief run in and out of her dorm. After all, for her Quirk to be any good, Ayane needed equipment, and as such, when she caught up with the rest of the class at the training ground - guitar and amp in tow - she was rather pleased to see the exercise hadn't started yet. "This is where we'll be introducing ourselves, our quirks, and our hero names, to each other! Please state your name to the class, and head on inside! There are tons of training robots running around here, kinda like your practical exams! Don't be afraid to go all out against them either. And don't take it too easy, because they won't do the same for you. You won't be aiming for points this time around, but everyone has to destroy at least one robot before exiting, is that c-c-clear?!" The first students up were Diana, Yasha, and then Takehiko. All of them seemed to have neat Quirks! Takehiko's material manipulation, Yasha's tool hands, and Diana's... what did she do again? Oh well. She could worry about that later. Ayane hurried up to the gate next, equipment in tow. "My name is Ukemei Ayane, and my Quirk is called Compose! I'm able to convert sounds into matter, with different frequencies having different effects! So for a hero name... how about Riot Hero - 11? Nice to meet everyone! Let's show UA that they let the right students in!" Introduction made, Ayane hurried through and into the training zone. It was like a whole city contained within UA campus. She knew this place was amazing, but this blew even her expectations out of the water! Ayane looked around through the streets, trying to find a robot that the others hadn't gotten their hands on just yet. It took a bit of searching, but before long Ayane found her target. Or rather, it found her. The whirring of a whole lot of metal behind her warned Ayane just what was about to happen, giving the girl just enough time to turn around and see a large metal fist heading straight for her. She set the amp down, pulled the guitar pick from a small pouch on its body, then ran the pick across the top string with all she could muster, letting out a loud, deep, and gritty noise. A noise which, between Ayane and her assailant, turned into a transclucent red shield. While it certainly wouldn't break the robot's arm, it sure did stop the punch dead in its tracks. Just in time too, before it disappeared, and bought Ayane just enough time to get herself together. She put her left hand right up at the close end of the fretboard, brought her right hand to the smaller strings at the bottom, and began strumming as fast as she could across different strings. Different strings, different frets, all intent on simply shredding. Both figuratively on the fretboard, and literally on the robot in front of her. With each note, what was best described as a spear similar to the shield from earlier formed and was promptly fired at the robot. Individually, they weren't that great, as each one shattered upon impact with the robot. But with the sheer quantity of them Ayane was producing? That was different. Each impact was a small tear in the robot, and with the amount Ayane was creating and firing, it wasn't long before she'd torn through its armor, ripping into its important parts and forcibly shutting it down. "Not really a stealthy Quirk, but it sure gets the job done! How'd ya like that, you old rust bucket!?" "This is where we'll be introducing ourselves, our quirks, and our hero names, to each other! Please state your name to the class, and head on inside! There are tons of training robots running around here, kinda like your practical exams! Don't be afraid to go all out against them either. And don't take it too easy, because they won't do the same for you. You won't be aiming for points this time around, but everyone has to destroy at least one robot before exiting, is that c-c-clear?!" Yumi wasn't entirely sure how to feel about Epicenter. She certainly seemed enthusiastic, which was of course a great thing. But that vibration her Quirk caused was certainly not comfortable. After showing up, introducing herself, and telling the class today's assignment, it was time to actually do the thing. Yumi had to admit, she wasn't expecting there to be a massive training facility like this on UA campus. And the fact that it was called "training ground zeta" implied there were several more of them! This school must have had a budget on par with some entire nations! One by one, other students stepped up, introducing themselves before heading in. During this process, Yumi had put a bit of distance between herself and the others just in case, and began charging up electricity. Crackling sparks danced in the air around her by the time she stepped up to the gate to take her turn. "I'm Omuro Yumi. Hero name, Thundering Hero - Megawatt. It's still a work in progress. My Quirk allows me to charge and fire electricity. I'll be in your care from now on." Yumi gave the class a brief bow, before turning, and stepping into the training area. The others were already running around, dealing with robots. Yumi did a bit of exploring, looking for targets of her own. It was a few minutes into searching, the girl practically glowing with an aura of lightning, that she found a robot. In fact, she found two. And more importantly, they found her. Yumi wasn't about to waste any time and let them fall out of such a perfect line. Just as quickly as they turned around to face the girl, a deafening blast of thunder roared through the area as Yumi took the shot, firing her stored-up power in a single devastating bolt. It ripped clean through the first robot, as well as the robot behind it, before finally making itself at home by leaving a crater in the wall of a building behind both of them. All three victims crackled with electricity as Yumi looked over the damage she'd caused, the robots destroyed and the wall blackened around the point of impact. Impressive. I knew these were powerful, but I didn't expect it to be quite to that extent! Only one way to find out if that wasn't a fluke. Yumi turned away from the scene, on the hunt for additional robots to fry. The crackling of electricity filled the air around her as she began charging up a second shot.

Nine grimaced as Nikora seemed to be deadset on fighting to the end. He didn't know quite what it was that was motivating the man, but it was clear that he wanted to end all of the fighting he had been doing. Nine didn't know much about the old man's life, but he figured it hadn't been a kind one both with how he spoke and how strong he was. Taking a deep breath, Nine muttered, "if that's what you want..." Nine watched as Easter and Nikora had their exchange, and as Easter managed to land yet another hit into the Godslayer, Nine's arm ignited. Rushing at the Cacturne, the Houndoom shouted, "Nikora!" As he got close enough, he let loose the blast of flame point blank at the godslayer. However, defiant as he was, Nikora raised his arms to defend against the fire. His shield had formed, blocking the intense blast of flame coming from the Houndoom. Though his shield had managed to prevent any direct damage, it was clear that the heat was still getting through as the Godslayer began to sweat under the intense pressure. "I told you last time that I would defeat you and keep everyone alive. I held true to that. But this time, if all you want is to stop fighting, to reach the end - if that is truly your wish. Then for such a fighter like you. I! Will! Grant it!" Nine's flames flared up even more intensely for a brief moment before finally sputtering out. With the opening having presented itself, Nikora put his guard down and went for a drain punch against Nine. The Houndoom let out a gasp as the wind was knocked out of him, the punch having hit him square in the gut and energy seeming to return to Nikora. However, this would be a fleeting victory for the Godslayer. Standing his ground, Nine clenched his as the pain radiated in his gut and started to move its way all the way into his fist. "Get some rest, old man." Nine muttered, before moving forward and letting loose a counter into Nikora. His fist smashed into the Godslayer's gut this time, rippling with force as he launched the Cacturne off his feet and away.

"Oh so you made those! Good job! They were delicious!" Kio slammed his hands onto the boys desk. "Surely, if you're too tired, you could use some assistance! I gotta see how you made them for myself!" Just then, a sudden shaking seemingly began to rattle the school. Most of the other students were also alerted by the shaking. He gave a nod to Diana, "You're fine, I'm not expecting to be known completely by day one." Takehiko gave a smile and opened his mouth to respond, before feeling the shaking begin as a woman walked inside, a woman named Epicenter! He felt himself feel a bit wary, a small bead of sweat going down his cheek. He takes a deep breath before they were led outside, trying to keep closer to the front of the pack! ____________ "This is where we'll be introducing ourselves, our quirks, AND our hero names to each other! If you have any questions, I'll be all ears. I'm excited to meet you all today!" Takehiko watched the girl he had been talking to clench her fist before speaking up. "[Yo ro shii coo! Wadashi no Diana Seigi!] Sorry if my Japanese is a little messed up, but I'm sure I got this next part right! I'm gonna be the [Seigi no Hiiro - Artemis Justice! Ganbare miinah!]" He gave a nod as he watched her charge in, sighing and adjusting his glasses somewhat before turning to address other students. His mouth opens his mouth before he's rushed past by Yasha, his eye slightly twitching as the guy loudly yelled out. After he headed in, Takehiko once again adjusted his glassess. "It's my pleasure to meet you all, my name is Kanda, Takehiko, and my own quirk is simply Chess. I can pull in things from the environment to emulate game pieces. Hero Name of J'adoube!" Takehiko walked inside of the city-like training ground, going up to a phone booth before going inside and putting his hand to the metal box. "Mode: Knight!" His body caused the metal to nearly liquefy as it remolded itself around his body, forming a bright red armor with a closed visor before a longsword formed in his grip, "Knight Technique: Skilled Footwork!" Right before a rather bulky robot seemed to slam it's fist where Takehiko was, there was a loud 'CLANG' as Takehiko's sword found itself embedded in the space between the robot's fingers! Takehiko gave a small smirk, "You poor fool." He gave a twist of his sword, ripping the robot's hand off before he decided to be a bit more showy, dodging the electrical sparks that showered out of it while he gave a quick swipe of his sword, smoke starting to rise from his sword as it burned a bright red from the intense heat focused on the tip of the sword, gathered from the flying sparks, before he gave a quick thrust forward, "Knight Technique: Eyes J'adoube!" His sword found the tip slicing around the ankle of the robot exactly enough to cause it to groan and topple onto it's back, before he finished the human-sized robot by stabbing the heated tip into it's throat.

Yasha had to admit-- a lot had happened in the last twenty minutes, and he wasn't fully sure he'd absorbed it all-- the monkey guy, that fast-talking kid who... winked at him... the earthshaking bundle of anxiety that was his homeroom teacher, and now they were going to fight robots again-- and that girl with the horrible Japanese upstaged him-- he was going to go first! Deciding he wasn't going to let anyone else get ahead of him, he stepped out, undid the top half of his tracksuit and threw it off, revealing the black tank-top underneath and his stupidly large arms. Whirling around, he showed them a bright, fanged grin. "Sup! I'm Yokuna! My Quirk is Tool Hands!" As if to illustrate his point, one of them transformed-- his forearm swelling with internal piping and moving parts and his hand elongating until he was once again brandishing a chainsaw for a hand-- one which roared like a bike-engine for a moment while the awe was fresh. "But you can all call me by my hero name: WORKSHOP!" Turning and pointing his chainsaw at the gate like a sword, his engine-like purr of a voice roared like a sports car as he charged after Diana. "NOW LET'S GO—O!"

"Ah, hey, are you okay...? I'm sorry I got a bit zoned out taking care of something..." "[Oh it's alright. I mean, random guy walks in and screams that, I'd probably feel a biiiiiit uneasy myself.]" Benjamin nodded with a chuckle. "[Anyway, so what's your name? And what's an American...at least I assume you are don't hate me for assuming...doing here in Japan and at U.A.?]" "I-I'm sorry for bothering you, um...?" Diana nervously rubbed her arm as she spoke to Takehiko, "Sorry, I don't know your name... [Oh, a-and you too, Ben! I'm] Diana Seigi! [I'm here because of... Well, let's say reasons. I'm here to learn how to better help people. And you?]" The distraction managed to pull Diana's attention away from the chainsaw man, now that she wasn't looking dead at him. And things seemed great, just in time for the teacher to rush in. She called herself Ms. Todoya, or Epicenter, though she really just spoke a moment before rushing them out to the gym... But that was fine. Introductions sucked, but it was to be expected. Nice to meet you? Was that the phrase she was supposed to use...? ----- "This is where we'll be introducing ourselves, our quirks, AND our hero names to each other! She was going to make a fool of herself. Her Japanese wasn't good enough for this... But better now than after that chainsaw boy. Pushing forward, Diana walked to the gate and turned around, flashing the rest of her class a big smile, and extending her right fist forward. "[Yo ro shii coo! Wadashi no Diana Seigi!] Sorry if my Japanese is a little messed up, but I'm sure I got this next part right! I'm gonna be the [Seigi no Hiiro - Artemis Justice! Ganbare miinah!]" With that, Diana turned around and made her way into the gates, finding what looked to be a fairly large scale mock city. Roads, buildings, robots everywhere... Yep, totally normal. But she wouldn't be able to destroy one of those things on her own, if the exam was anything to go by, so... Ah! "Hey, nuts and bolts, over here!" Diana drew a robot's attention as she dashed towards a street corner, easily outspeeding the lumbering machine, as she kept her back to a stopsign. As the robot approached, only a few feet taller than Diana herself, it took a swing at the young hero-in-training, earning a sigh of relief from Diana. She leapt up, using the sign itself to brace herself as she landed on the machine's arm, grinning as she felt the signpost come loose from the robot's attack. Without a moment to waste, Diana pulled the stop sign forward, slamming the flat end on the robot's head to push herself into the air, then spinning it around so the sharp, broken end was facing down... and slammed it straight into her opponent's optical lens, jamming it as far into the robot as possible, before hopping off. With a creak and a thud, the ruined robot fell to the ground as Diana wiped the sweat from her brow and grinned. "[Alright, that wasn't so bad! I just needed the proper tools!]"

Watching the students file in one after the other was so exciting! He was so excited to meet them all! So excited to learn everything about them! So excited to add to his collection! Up til now, some names of those that announced them had burrowed into his neural network, never to be lost again. However, none of his classmates came close to holding a candle to the boy with a chainsaw for a head! Just his presence seemed to ooze an interest factor to Kio. It was so cool! No doubt the boy had just as interesting a quirk! Kio was about to go and greet the guy, when a large monkey of a man stepped in to ask if the boy was even a living, sentient being. Turns out that this Yokuna was indeed alive and in fact not a robot. Fascinating! Stepping up towards the two, Kio laughed. "You must be new to these parts, huh? Lot's of people walking around with all sorts of different heads these days." He said, poking the Monkey boy's bicep. "Hey, you seem pretty strong! Wanna arm wrestle!? I hear primates are at least five times stronger than normal people, I read it somewhere in an article! I wanna see if it's true!" Kio's attention drifted from the one student to his main focus. "Oh! Yokuna! Tell me all about how your quirk works! Pleaaaaaase! It's probably really sick! Are there any drawbacks??? Do you need gasoline to power that thing, or do you make your own?!" Kio stepped away, as he had gotten particularly close to the boy, clearing his throat and calming himself down. "Maybe after class?" He said with a wink. "Oh, did all of the Monaka get eaten? Hopefully I wound up bringing enough... I uh, don't know if I have the energy to make more..." Kio's ears perked up at the mention of the snacks he took part in before, rushing up to the boy. "I'd reason that it's someone's quirk. I don't think it's anyone here, it just started. Maybe there is a villain knocking at the doorstep. Wouldn't that be fun?" "YEAH! THAT WOULD BE RAD!" Kio said, pumping his fist towards the boy. "I'M TOTALLY UP FOR THE CHALLENGE! BACK ME UP, 'KAY?!" Kio turned his attention towards the door, psyching himself up for whatever was about to breach it. The shaking grew more and more intense, as the source seemed to be travelling at a breakneck pace straight towards the room. As the door slid open, and the shaking had reached its peak, a woman had dashed into the room, with papers flying everywhere as she tripped on her face. She had made a desperate attempt to grab onto the top of the front desk to break her fall, but fell a tad short. Once her face smacked the floor, the quaking stopped for a moment, only to pick back up with a vengeance. The woman struggled to her feet, watching the helpless kids be shaken to their cores. "Calm down, calm down." She said, smacking her face and taking a deep breath in. The shaking calmed down rapidly, and the room was eventually still. Another deep breath in, and the woman took a look over the complete mess she had made. "U-Uhm...Good Morning everyone! Please...uhm...Please take your seats." Kio's knees were still recovering from that intense earthquake that they just went through. This lady was a walking disaster, but her quirk was amazing. Kio walked over to his desk, wobbly and slow, having to pick it up and place it upright. He was eventually able to plop himself in his seat, taking a sigh of relief. Although, he noticed that the teacher herself was still shaking. She bowed to the class, while blushing. "G-good morning..again! My name is Ms. Todoya, b-but while in the c-class please call me Epicenter. I'll be your homeroom teacher, starting from today! I hope to get along well with all of you." Epicenter began to rummage through all the papers that had been thrown about when she had fell. "N-now what were we going to do today, again...let's see....ah!" Epicenter picked up one paper specifically, and brought it close to her face. She pulled it down slowly, only her eyes peering over the page and looking over the class. "T-today will be introductions! And a little exercise to boot! Now let's put on our gym clothes and head to training ground zeta, okay! Ready? GO!!!" She cheered. With everyone dressed appropriately, they were whisked away to the training ground. A large white gate stood before them. Epicenter walked up to it, and smacked a hand on the meeting of both sides. "This is where we'll be introducing ourselves, our quirks, AND our hero names to each other! Please state your name to the class, and head on inside! There are tons of training robots running around here, kinda like your practical exams! Don't be afraid to go all out against them either. You won't be aiming for points this time around, but everyone has to destroy at least one robot before exiting, is that c-c-clear?!" She tried to sound like some sort of authority, but made a fool of herself in the process. "If you have any questions, I'll be all ears. I'm excited to meet you all today!"
